๐๐๐๐ถ๐ธ๐๐๐ I am here: School Hallways With: Tana, Kiaku "One day, I'll be able to brave the world" โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ Snow watched Tana's eyes light up and her tail wag as she waited for Snow to introduce herself. The girl was kind of like a dog, huh? The fire aside, she was super adorable, and Snow couldn't help but find herself smiling at the little dragon girl. After she said her name, both little dragons began to process the information. After a moment, Tana spoke, trying to pronounce the name. She got close, but wasn't quite there. After a couple more tries, she was shouting Snow's name confidently, and Snow gave the girl a round of applause. "There you go!" she cheered. The girl clearly didn't speak Aestonian very well, so any attempt at the language was a clear victory.
Snow stopped mid-clap, however, when Kiaku blurted out that she wasn't a snowman. Snow's hands fell to her sides, and she furrowed her brow at the little boy. "That's uh, that's right," she said. It wasn't hard to see where he got the idea of a snowman from--with ice powers, white hair, and a name like Snow, a snowman wasn't a far off base assumption. It was certainly a surprising one though, not one Snow had ever expected. Who's to say she wasn't really a snowman? Her dad had called her an ice fairy, but there was no guarantee that wasn't another word for snowman. Snow's brow furrowed as she had this small identity crisis. Shaking her head of the thought, she decided that it didn't really matter if she was actually a snowman. It would just explain the mystery of where she came from, but not change who she was.
After mentioning the cafeteria, the boy was excited, shouting to his friend "let's go!", but not finishing the sentence. Snow followed his distracted gaze to a black and white girl on the roof, and a familiar looking black crow. Was Nammii making friends, then? Snow smiled, making note of what the girl was dressed like and what she was wearing. If Nammii turned up sick or injured, Snow would know who to blame. Her attention was drawn back to Kiaku as he asked her where the "cineraria" was. Snow winced at the word, and was skeptical when the boy said he knew where it was, and that he could guide her there. She decided she would give him the benefit of the doubt--sure, he used the wrong word, but that didn't mean he didn't know where the cafeteria was. "A-alright, lead the way!" she told the boy with a smile.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
They were lost. 100%. Snow followed the overexcited boy as he rocketed down the hallway, and was literally bouncing off the walls so that he could go slower. Snow liked to think she had built up decent stamina after living in the woods, but she was no match for the little boy. He was just so fast. "H-hey Kiaku!" Snow shouted as loud as she could. "Can you, um, slow down? I think we uh, we missed a turn!" Snow called to the boy. She didn't recognize the part of the school they were in at all. She had done a little scoping around earlier and had figured out how to get to the cafeteria from her room, but she hadn't found her way through the rest of the building yet. Maybe they could retrace their steps? Or a nice professor could point them in the right direction? โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ ((ooc: )) ((outfit)) ((toeto))
The half-elf felt stagnant in his training the last couple of days. After mastering techniques from abroad, was returning here going to do him any good? Dorte was a worthy partner, balanced, formed with care and it showed in the way she handled. Theyโd accomplished breakthroughs together before. Yet, practicing on this familiar campus, Emmyth didnโt feel he was doing anything more than going through the motions with gold hilted sword. His speed and precision could always improve, he wasnโt failing in every way, but he wanted to hone further technique. There were few who wouldnโt call Emmyth an absolute master of weapon wielding, but the man was never satisfied to stop improving.
Emmyth already knew what he needed.
He was just uncomfortable seeking it out.
A sparring partner. A good one. The man was well aware he could only do so much, facing off against his own metal projections. He would grow out of touch with real combat that way. Heโd practiced with many while abroad, it was easy then. Heโd been playing the part of โpupilโ while gathering the principles of many styles. He understood the relationship between a student and teacher. Anything else justโฆ made him uneasy.
The man was not a fan of social interaction. Emmyth didnโt know how to approach it, maintain it, and frankly he was scared of it.
Contemplating how he was figuratively going nowhere; the man was also literally going nowhere. Wandering through the school halls in thought, with no destination in mind. Emmyth wasnโt sure if he wanted to run into anyone he knew, or if he hoped to see no one at all. Both, maybe, paradoxically. The universe answered him with neither option. Instead choosing to drop on him two dragon children and a timid girl in pastels. The group energetically took up the entirety of the hallway, bringing the half-elf to a pause, sticking his hands in pockets up to his wrist weights, the man leaned against one of the walls to make room for the rambunctious crowd. Crimson eyes tracked the young dragons at the front of the group with no particular emotion.
Tana Dragon child
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The hatchling obediently followed along her friends, though her bright expression slightly changed as they reached the entrance of the building. Her bare feet softly slapped against the hard tile floor with each step. Her red crimson tail softly flicked back and forth, and it barely hung just above the ground. Man-made structures still gave the hatchling an uneasy feeling, and unsettling chill that reminded her of the horrible labs. It would take a while for Tana to shake that gut-wrenching feeling, though being near her friends made the feeling a little tolerable. Just a little though. She was not exactly sure where they were going. She hoped it was something fun, or tasty. Well, that was what her stomach was really hoping for.
She looked over to Snow as she spoke. She had no clue what she had said to Kiaku. While she let the two converse, she looked about her surrounding in curiosity. When she sniffed the air her tail suddenly perked up. She began to sniff the air more frequently, there was a delicious smell in the air. Then it became all too clear were they were headed; FOOD! She excitedly thought.
Without warning the hatchling was about to darted off towards the smell on all fours. Though her first couple of steps were rather clumsy as her hands and feet failed to grip again the polished floor. She flopped and scrabbled till she was able to catch her bearings. Humans had a knack for making such strange things. Nothing was ever raw or rough, just smooth, fabricated things. Everything seemed so fragile to the little hatchling, and with her strength she could possibly make the whole building crumble if she was not careful enough. As appealing the idea of food was something else caught her attention at the last moment.
The Hatchling came to a screeching halt, not even the smell of food could distract her from the prickling sensation she was being watched. She turned her head towards the tall figure leaning against the wall, he watched them with his crimson gaze though she did not feel it was a threatening gaze. Her stomach made a protesting halt. Tana slowly stood up on her feet, the palms of her hands were slightly red from rubbing against the title floor. She curiously tottered towards him, she sniffed the air around him, his scent was unfamiliar much like all the other people here. What could he be? She knew it was not a dragon, and not like her new friend Snow. The closer she got the more her curiosity grew as her eyes sparkled with awe.
She stopped about a few feet from the stranger, she was still cautious despite her curiosity. The hatchling wiggled her toes on the tile floor as she stared up at him, he was very tale. She almost stumbled back trying to stare up at his face if her tail had not acted as third leg to keep her standing on her two feet, โGao?โ She mumbled as she took a step back so she could look up to him without falling back again. The odd experience seemed to excite her. A smile bloomed on her face when she could get a good look at him, she wondered if this person could become a new friend. Her tail lightly wagged at the idea. So many questions fluttered about in her mind but she did not know how to say them.
 Chaosuraxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Kiakuxxxxxxxxxxxxx Run! Faster than the windxxxxxAim! Farther than the skies
Before anything had really started happening, Kiaku had caught a very brief glimpse of the girl on the roof quickly hiding upon looking at her. It didn't really mean much to him right then, but he'd wonder about that a bit later. What mattered more was that he received confirmation that the girl before him wasn't a Snowman. Her name suggested it, but she definitely wasn't all that she looked to be. His tail slowly wagging as she finally gave him permission to lead the way, they were off! Sort of...
Initially taking off like a rocket, he moved his leg weights onto his wrists. While it freed his legs to allow for faster movement, he did feel the strain on his arms at full force. A normal human would have been in pain carrying what he had, but he didn't seem to care or mind too much. Without the restraints on his legs, he was able to jump and move around more freely. He still had to mentally factor in for the weight, but that was another problem. It didn't take long for him to realize that the white haired girl was far slower than him.
Returning almost immediately to her side, he decided to shift things up a little. Moving the weights up his arms, he tightened them and began to trot into the main building. To the absolutely unaware, the boy wasn't exactly lost. He just was incredibly used to taking a longer path there. Making several unusual twists and turns around the school hallways, he was running up to the walls and speeding up them. Seconds in, he'd bounce off and start a bizarre zigzag-like pattern with his movements as he went down the hall.
It wasn't until Snow called out for him that he stopped. Jumping off the wall once more, he came to a screeching halt as his skidded down the hallway. Hitting the side of the stone wall, he shook himself off and quickly stood up. Suggesting they missed a turn, he stared at her with an incredibly confident look. "I didn't miss a turn. I've taken this way before," He told her as he raised a finger and began to wag it. Yeah, this was the way to get to their destination.
They just needed to zoom down the hallway, exit into the gardens, make a lap around the gazebo onto the gazebo. There, they'd need to jump off of the top of it and land on the lily-pads of the pond that the big fish lives that keeps attacking him with its fin. After getting hit, they'd go flying past the gardens and into the forest, where they'd go about four kilometers in before running into the somewhat curved hillside where they could run along it and loop back. After running inside the fallen tree that goes across the river in the forest, they'd arrive at the large tree that sat outside the window of their destination and it'd be a simple run up the tree and a quick scaling of a wall.
"You clearly don't know your way around here, do you? Well, that's why it is perfect you ran into me!" He confidently said as he started to walk slowly beside them. He didn't like the pace he was moving right then, but something else caught his attention. Feeling as if he was being watched, his emerald green eyes scanned the hallway. Spotting the source of the sensation, he came to a complete halt. Before them was a dark man with red eyes. He was much taller than the boy, but there was a detail about him that stood out. "Ah! He has weights too," He boy pointed out as he adjusted the weights he'd been carrying on his arms so that they'd fall to his wrists.
Startled by the sudden shift in weight, he nearly fell over. Catching himself before he could do so, he swung his arms back. His gaze still on the older man, he pointed at him. "I think he's a teacher," He suggested, not actually knowing who the man was. He looked older than the guy he ran into who stunk worse than poop, so it was safe to assume he was a teacher. Well, at least he thought so.
๐๐๐๐ถ๐ธ๐๐๐ I am here: Hallways With: Tana, Kiaku, Emmyth "One day, I'll be able to brave the world" โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ The little boy had been periodically speeding up and slowing down so that Snow could catch up. It was quite exhausting for her--the pace he was keeping, as well as the jumping, made her tired just looking at him, let alone following him. She called up to him saying she thought they had missed a turn, and he responded back saying that he had taken this way to the cafeteria before. Snow frowned, her brow furrowing. Certainly he had taken this way before, but did that mean it was the best route to the cafeteria? He wagged his finger at her in a way that implied he knew better than her, which caused her to frown a little bit. She wasn't entirely sure the child knew where he was going, and was just making childlike boasts.
At the very least, he had slowed down and was walking alongside her. But, it only seemed that Kiaku slowed down for Tana to speed up. The young girl took off at an incredible pace, scrabbling on the tile floor. If they had been outside on the dirt now doubt she would have been faster, as with the tile she was slipping and sliding and barely keeping control. "Careful, Tana!" Snow shouted at the girl. Whether due to Snow's words or something else, the girl came to a scrambling halt, noticing someone pressed up against the wall. Snow's gaze followed Tana and Kiaku's as she took in the person who was trying to remain out of their way. Snow's jaw dropped open slightly, and she forced herself to close it. The man was purple! She had never seen someone who was purple before. Most of the people in the towns bordering the Icelands and Aeston were human. Snow couldn't help but find herself staring fascinatingly at his purple skin and red eyes. Sure, the little dragon kids had tails, but they still looked mostly human.
Stop staring, it's rude! Snow mentally chastised herself, removing her gaze from the tall, purple man to the little girl in front of him. She had a huge smile on her face, as though she was excited to see him. To her side, Kiaku pointed out that the man was also wearing weights. Snow's eyes went to his wrists, where sure enough, just like Kiaku, he had weights wrapped around. A training exercise? Snow started as the little boy began to fall over, reaching out to catch him. He managed to catch himself however, and didn't have an epic face plant like he did earlier. Had he ever been checked for a concussion? For a moment, Snow found herself worried about the health of this energetic little boy. No doubt all his adventures had led him to getting hurt, and will lead him to getting hurt in the future.
Kiaku pointed out the fact that the man was probably a teacher, and Snow perked up. "Oh!" she exclaimed, stepping forward towards the man and extending a hand. "H-hello sir, my name is, uh, is Snow Delacore. I was wondering if you, uh, if you knew the way to the um, the cafeteria?" Snow asked, her face slightly flushed. She was incredibly glad that she didn't completely butcher the sentence. She wasn't sure if the man was actually a teacher, or just a janitor or something, but first impressions were always important. And, if she was rude, or didn't say something correctly, he would be less inclined to helping them to the cafeteria. โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ ((ooc: I butchered a sentence trying to ask "how much will it cost to print something?" today)) ((outfit)) ((toeto))
Heโd only meant to get out of their way. Was there something about him lately that was seemed somehow inviting to others? Althea, the half-hair student, had also approached him when heโd been doing little more than staying out of the way. The silence stretching between the two was broken by the other current denizens of the hall. The flustered girl accompanying the children seemed almost excited to have found someone else in the hall. The ample amounts of fur decorating the manโs jacket swayed, bouncing like the ends of the coat as he shifted his weight off the wall, aloof gaze fixing on the small and pale outstretched hand.
For a momentโฆ
Maybe two?
It seemed as if the gesture would go unreturned, yet large, heather colored, roughly calloused hand roughly grasped the girlโs in a brief hand shake. Curt nod affirmed he has the answer to her question. With relative ease, the man stepped around the small dragon and the pale skinned girl, facing the direction her and the children had just arrived from. โEmmyth Eilhana.โ He offered his name almost as if it was an afterthought, glancing back at the pastel clad girl and the children, waiting for them to follow. True, he could have just given them directions and been done with it from there, but he had no where he was goingโฆ walking to the cafeteria was as good a destination as any. โI can show you.โ Tone of voice wasnโt annoyed, but it was hardly cordial or excitable either. It was hard to read, if anything. Which led a many people to think the man was mysterious in a way, something which was hardly his intention.
Did this group have any weapons on them? Rather than thinking about if they were new, why there were children on campus, what they were doing together, or anything like that, Emmyth instead wondered if any of them wielded a weapon, or on the off chance had worked forging. Nothing was immediately noticed besides the boy childโs weights. Dragons had a number of natural weaponsโฆ but tails and claws were not of much interest to Emmyth. The half-elf could have asked them about their interests, but he was simply not the kind to further a conversation on his own. Walking in silenceโฆ it seemed fine to him.
Tana Dragon child
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tanaโs gaze remained glued to the new stranger; she curiously sniffed the air around him whenever he made the slightest movement. A tall purple man. Her eyes grew wide as she closely watched him touch Snowโs hand. She looked back and forth between the two; Whatโs that?! Whatโs that?! A game?! The Hatchling tilted her head in confusion, she did not understand what that gesture meant, she looked back to Kiaku.It was as though her troubled eyes were saying, โThe heck was that?โ. She considered him to be the most knowledgeable of strange gestures, since that was pretty what he did since they first met. She gradually began to understand what his gestures meant the more time she spent with him. She was determined to understand him after all since he did not speak in dragon tongue.
She looked down at her own warm little hand, wiggling her small fingers, she figured what they did was not bad since she did not since any hostility. Her gaze wondered back to the stranger, waiting to see if he would do anything else strange. She had never seen an elf before- or even a half elf, he was just another tasty- strange smell she encountered. Her stomach let out a low growl, groaning at the lack of food in itโs chamber, โG-Gaaoooโ She lightly whimpered under her breath as her tail curled around her feet. Then again her beast of a stomach was never content.
When the purple man spoke, she quickly forgot her stomach cries and shot up in alert, her tail excitedly wagged behind her. He was speaking! He said something! Oh she hoped he would say something she could recognize. She wanted to learn! Unfortunately, she did not understand a word; she had not even realized he had said his own name. She was used to hearing their word for โnameโ before saying their own name. She heard Snow introduce herself again, while she waited to hear him introduce himself, the hatchling looked at the odd clothes he wore, he had many small shiny and fuzzy stuff that dangled from his attire, maybe he was from a tribeโฆ
Tana lightly flinched when he began to walk, she curiously followed behind him on all fours. Her gaze gradually fell to his coat tails, the bright colors of the cloth the way they swayed with each step triggered something instinctual. The clumsy sound of her hands and feet clapping against the tile floor began to fade until there was hardly a sound. Her pupils turned paper thin, as her body leaned lower towards the ground, a few long locks of her hair dragged against the smooth tile. It was much like a tiger moving quietly in the brush, her tail softly swayed low to the ground behind her, the tip of her tail flicked with each step the purple man took. All other sounds seem to exist other them the low thuds of his boots. Her gaze darted to each coat tail, she zig-zagged as if she was trying to pick the best tail. THE MIDDLE! When she finally made up her mind, she leapt forward with her hands stretched out and posed like claws. All this energy was aimed towards this strangerโs coat.
 Chaosuraxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Kiakuxxxxxxxxxxxxx Run! Faster than the windxxxxxAim! Farther than the skies
As the older girl seemed to notice what he meant about the man's training weights, Kiaku stood back for a second. Examining him from a distance, he seemed to be gauging him in silence. As Snow extended her hand out to the man in a form of introduction, he caught Tana looking at him. His attention diverting to the girl, he was certain she didn't understand the greeting. "She's saying hello," He told her, trying to explain it. Course, for a brief moment, he forgot their was a massive language barrier between the two of them. No matter, he was sure she'd start figuring things out on her own.
Her stomach growl was quick to catch his attention. Moving closer to Tana, he reached down and began to ruffle up her hair with both of his hands. "We'll get food in a bit. I promise," He told her, kneeling down to be eye level with the girl. As the purple fellow spoke up, the girl he was petting was quick to grow alert and excited. Watching her tail wag, he backed off a bit. Standing back a bit, he had missed the man introduce himself entirely. The man had apparently decided to take over his role of leading them to their destination, which bothered him slightly, but he was willing to let it slide for now.
However, there was something else that had his concern. Watching Tana slowly follow him, she moved on all fours. He had seen this exact type of movement before, but where in the world was it? Standing perfectly still, he tried to remember what it was until an image of a big cat came to mind. That's right! She was on the prowl!
Her body close to the ground, he kept his eyes on her as she moved in what would normally be a stealthy pattern. Of course, the lack of brush or any vegetation made it impossible. Eyeing the imagery with some confusion, he didn't make any connection on what was going on until it was somewhat too late.
Witnessing her jump at the man like a predatory beast, Kiaku's legs put in over time as he seemingly accelerated from zero to who knows what. Dropping his weights on the ground, there was an echoing thud as he zoomed to the side of her and jumped at her. Grabbing her around the waist, he weighed her down just enough to bring them both to the ground. Hitting the tile floor, he skidded slightly to the side with her. His tail falling to the ground as he had his chin on her back, he felt a bit disorientated from the impact alone. "He isn't food," He told her as he held onto her side, unaware that he actual target was just the tails of his coat.
๐๐๐๐ถ๐ธ๐๐๐ I am here: Hallways With: Emmyth, Kiaku, Tana "One day, I'll be able to brave the world" โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ Snow watched with bated breath as the extraordinarily dressed man peeled himself off the wall. His gaze fixed on her outstretched hand, as though he wasn't sure if he wanted to shake it or not. In her head, Snow was internally screaming. A handshake was the proper way to greet a potential professor, right? Her dad had taught her a handshake was the proper way to introduce herself to anyone, regardless of status. Snow felt her breath begin to quicken as she worked herself into a panic--and then he took her hand. His calloused hand gave her a quick shake, and she gave him a nervous smile in response.
With a nod of his head, he maneuvered around the trio and turned the way the group had just arrived from. So she was right about a missed turn! After a moment's thought, the man turned around and introduced himself, Emmyth Elihana. "N-nice to meet you, M-m-mr. Elihana," Snow told the man. His dispassionate voice was a little off-putting for Snow. She couldn't tell if he was okay with showing them to the cafeteria, or if he was annoyed. She just had to hope it wasn't the latter--she wasn't sure if he was a professor or not, but she certainly didn't want to make a negative impression on him in case he was.
Making sure the children were with her, Snow began to follow Mr. Elihana, but noticed after a moment that Tana was acting...weird. Weirder than earlier, at least. Kikau seemed to notice it too, his eyes intent on the other girl. She was like a...stalking cat. Snow's realization came a second too late, for Tana leapt at the teacher. Snow's eyes widened and she let out a small shriek, unsure of what was happening. Why was Tana attacking the teacher?! Luckily, Kiaku was on top of it, and with a giant thud on the ground let go of his weights. Quick as lightening, he tackled Tana to the floor before she could even make contact with Mr. Elihana.
Snow rushed up to the two, startled when Kiaku told Tana that Mr. Elihana wasn't food. Was that something she needed to be told regularly? "No, Tana. Bad!" Snow scolded the girl, her voice firm since the first time she had met the pair of dragons. Turning to Mr. Elihana, Snow bowed low to him in apology. "I'm so sorry M-mr. Elihana! I-i'll make sure to keep a better eye on her!" Snow said to him. She wasn't entirely sure how she would achieve that goal, but she hoped the man would appreciate the sentiment anyways. โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ ((ooc: )) ((outfit)) ((toeto))
Did she find him intimidatingโฆ? Emmyth did not intend to be. Boots clicked against the floor, each step asking the question, โShould I say something else?โ Leaving the thought to bounce around and around his head, feeling less and less actionable with every extra step along the path to the cafeteria. Always echoed by, and what would I even say?
It wasnโt the only thing on the half-elfโs mind.
The feeling of being watched, it seemed like a strange sixth sense people had an inkling to now and again. More than likely, it was intuition, based on subconscious observations. In this case, the prickling feeling at the back of his neck was inaccurate. It wasnโt he that was being stalked, it was his coat. The disproportion number of footsteps behind him based on the group was consciously noticed. Subconsciously, Emmythโs mind held to a barely glimpsed image of the small dragonโs face when heโd looked back at Snow, and the pattern of sound created by carefully slowed steps. The slight scratching sound of claws.
Should he address that?
There was, primarily, children behind him. A prank? There wouldnโt be any point being upset about something like that. The man realized he couldnโt be sure what the plan was unless he turned back to look, but that would spoil their fun. Closing his eyes, Emmyth decided he would seem less intimidating if he pretended to not notice that something was happening behind him. Having made the decision none of those trailing behind him were likely to have terribly ill intent towards him, the professor was careful to show zero signs of a changed pace. Thatโฆ would interrupt their gameโฆ right?
THUD -ud -ud -ud, THUNK
Claws gaining purchase against the tiles had given Emmyth notice enough that the โplanโ had been set in motion, but the loud noises and soft gasps had not been expected. Heโd expected to be pounced, or hit with something, instead, he turned to find one of the children had apparently tackled the other. Lips pressed thin as the girl was told he wasnโt food, and then scolded by Snow. Had she really been trying to eat himโฆ ? โItโs fineโฆโ The man mumbled, large heather hand dug into buttoned coat pocket as boots approached the children, tall frame kneeling down, previously empty hand how offering a bag of plain granola as they untangled from each other. Emmyth didnโt eat anything fancy, the snack had been selected to offer appropriate amounts of energy between his practices rather than having to return to his room. If the girl was that hungry, she could have it, even if they'd be in the cafeteria soon. He wasn't so sure she'd like it though. โThe cafeteria isnโt far.โ The teacher didnโt realize the girl had very limited vocabulary, and so spoke to her as he would anyone.
Tana Dragon child
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tanaโs mind converted blank to a blank white canvas when her plans were sabotaged by her friendโs surprise tackle. She peeled the side of her face off from the tile after they finished tumbling across the ground. She lightly shook her head and blinked repeatedly until the dizziness faded. Confused she looked back at her friend who tightly wrapped his arms around her waist. She tilted her head in confusion. Did he want to play too? Was this a challenge? The thought nearly brought a smile to her face until he said something about food. His words confused the hatchling, she glanced around to see if there was any food around before she looked to him. There was something about his voice that worried her. Her cheery mood dimmed as she looked to him, โG-gao?โ she mumbled in a worried voice.
โNo, Tana. Bad!โ
The hatchling flinched when she heard those three words. She understood that perfectly. Tana looked up to Snow with sad convicted eyes. Tana did a NO NO?! The hatchling gradually hunched down like a guilty puppy. Her saddly tail curled around her as she wondered what she did wrong. Did have something to do with food? What little brightness remained was smudged away. She promised her friend she would be good. What if he found out? Will he be mad at her when he comes back? Tanaโs lip lightly quivered as she looked to her friends, [โIโฆIโm sorry, I didnโt want to make troubleโฆโ] She whimpered in dragon tongue, though she knew they could not understand her, she did not know how to make them understand.
Tana looked over to the purple man as he walked over with her big teary eyes. She tried to keep quiet, but her light sniffled seeped out. She wondered if he was mad at her too. She looked at the sweet crumbled stuff in his hand, her gaze bounced between the food and his face. She tilted her head to the side as she sniffed at it; Whatโs that? Food? For me? She lightly rubbed her nose as her other hand began to ever so slowly reach towards the granola. She moved like a cautious creature. When her hand hovered over the food, she suddenly broke eye contact and quickly snatched it from his hand. She scooted back and pulled the food close to her chest. She turned her back to the group and curiously sniffed the food. The hatchling looked over her shoulder to peek at the purple man before she viciously devoured every spec of granola from her small hands. Her tail twitched with each crunch, she had yet to encounter a flavor she disliked. Her manners needed a lot of work as the sound of gnashing teeth, snarling gulps would make anyone cringe in disgust. The helpless granola had been devoured in seconds, not even a crumb was left on her fingers. A small morsel like that would never be enough, her stomach let out another growl as it demanded more food. She sniffed around to see if she dropped anything before her nose lead her back to the purple man. She mumbled dragon gibberish under her breath. She wondered if the offering meant that he was not mad at her. Her tail began to slowly wag behind her, her scales scratched against the tile surface. A small smile bloomed on her lips; her gaze looked as if she was asking for more. She had nearly forgotten that her friends had scolded her when food entered her line of vision.
 Chaosuraxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Kiakuxxxxxxxxxxxxx Run! Faster than the windxxxxxAim! Farther than the skies
The slight dizziness coming to an end, Kiaku let go of Tana. Slowly sitting up, he looked at the girl. She looked as if she was confused and didn't quite understand what was wrong. His emerald eyes locked onto her, he spent a few seconds trying to figure out why she seemed shocked by what happened. It wasn't until Snow scolded her that something clicked in the boy's head. Seeing that sad look in her eyes, he tensed up and remained where he sat.
Was it possible that she didn't actually see him as food? Then what in the world was she actually after? Looking towards the older male, he scanned him over quickly to find something that he might've had or maybe something he was doing. Unable to really figure it out, he heard Tana's voice in a whimper. While it wasn't in a language that he understood, she sounded so sad. Wanting to reach out to her, he slowly tried to extend his hand out. Stopping himself, he wasn't sure what to do or what she had even said.
Realizing the man that she jumped at was approaching her, he stared at him with somewhat cautious eyes. Given that she just jumped at the man, he worried that she was going to be attacked back or something. However, what happened instead was a lot more peaceful. Offering her something to eat, the man told her that their destination wasn't too far away. Being offered food, the girl wasn't one to refuse a quick bite. Though, none of them had seen her eat before like he had, so the spectacle must've been quite the sight.
Devouring the morsel in a matter of what must've been seconds, there was a symphony of disgusting sounds that followed. If the granola was a living being, it would have not seen it coming. Hearing her stomach growl just as loudly as it had before, he stood up and shook himself off. Noticing that her mood improved a little, he started to trot on ahead. Looking at Tana, he motioned for her to follow. Jumping in place, he looked over at the other two. Having forgotten that the purple guy was suppose to guide them, his excitement and Tana's seemingly endless hunger were dictating his desire to hurry up.
แญแแ แ แแ I am here: Hallways With: Snow, Tana, Kiaku, Emmyth, Kitsu(?) We go together, better than birds of a feather, you and me โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ
Nammii's eyes brightened as Kitsu held up a finger at the bird. The crow was very familiar with the gesture--Snow used it often as a sign telling Nammii to wait, be patient. So Nammii sat their next to the door, waiting patiently. With slight alarm, the bird watched as the girl jumped off the roof, certain that it would be met with a -thunk- as the girl hit the ground. Snow had fallen from similar heights many times during their times in the forest. Luckily she was never severely injured, but Nammii was prepared for the strangely colored girl to be incapacitated for a moment. Except, she didn't sink like a stone. It was like there was a strong updraft, and Nammii watched with curious eyes as the girl slowly floated to the ground. That was certainly a fascinating trick.
The girl made her way to Nammii, and opened the door for her with a couple of words. Cawing in gratitude, Nammii picked herself off the ground and shot in, flying through the hallways. She didn't go fast, in case her newfound friend wanted to follow. Nammii wasn't sure if there were more doors that needed opening to get to Snow, and leaving behind an ally was not the way to accomplish her goal. Only, she wasn't entirely sure where Snow could have gone. It was early in the morning, maybe the cafeteria? Nammii vaguely remembered Snow traveling the hallways that morning, Nammii sitting and preening her wings on the the girl's shoulder. The bird would just have to try her best to remember where to go.
So the bird wandered the halls, not entirely certain where it was going. Until it heard a familiar shrieking noise--the very noise Snow would make when she fell out of a tree. On high alert, the bird picked up the pace, racing through the halls towards where the sound of Snow's voice came from. Had those little dragon children hurt her? Why had she screamed? Nammii's worst fears weren't realized when she finally reached the hallway Snow was in. There was a tall purple man, and the two small dragon children from earlier, one of which was eating something brown. Nammii landed on Snow's shoulder, giving a soft caw to her master, glad to finally be reunited.
