Gevaudan, knight of Ganymeade roamed a shopping district courtyard that evening and felt a bit festive seeing all the decorations. Plastic pumpkins hung off doors and a string of overhead Jack-o-lantern lights criss crossed the area overhead. Come Nov 1st they would be changed to golden bells. Skeletons and patchwork scarecrowns with cartoonist smiles stood by outside displays while windows were decorated in all manner of orange, black, and purple.

Gev sat down in one of the metal benches by a small tree with only a few leaves left and warmed his hands, deciding to take a 5 minute break before he decided where to go. The city was busy and he could feel signatures all over the place. Maybe people were already experiencing cabin fever.

Halloween was not really something that Pendour paid much mind to in the first place. Once she'd outgrown the candy, it seemed strange that people liked to wallow in negative emotions like fear for a whole month. This year, it was even lower on her priority list. The highlights of her month had been meditating and going out for groceries on her own three times, and now, at the end of it, she was powering up for the second time since she'd lost her eye, the first time that was not an emergency.

She didn't even notice the cheap pumpkin string lights that seemed to have spread across her apartment complex like a disease.

She didn't notice the rest, either, as she was not looking, not planning to stay on Earth at all, really. She missed Neptune, and her wonder was bigger than her house and safer than the streets and lovely.

The aura of two nights very close by caught her attention first, though, and that was something she maybe wouldn't get for awhile if she ignored it. It took a quick breathing exercise and letting her hair loose to cover the bad side of her face best she could, but she headed over.

Then, she blinked quickly at the sight before her, flush rising to her cheeks despite her preparations. "Oh, um, I'm sorry, Gevaudan," she murmured, and then turned her head to the other woman and the strange contraption on her back. "Um. Hi."

Paris, being Paris and a saturn knight who carried around a skull with him and had a helm that was also a skull tended to... stand out. Not that it normally mattered, but he was rather fond of his ability to blend in at times. Thankfully, with Halloween right around the corner, (nearly literally), he was able to walk with his weapon out and helm on without having to try and hide it.

It was kind of fun too, to venture to places where English wasn't spoken and be able to understand what was being said. Eerie, but interesting. Also interesting? Knights gathered together when they were all from different planets.
Gingerly, he approached them, forgetting that maybe, he ought to take off the helm of bone before doing so.
"Is something going on?"

Gev tudned and rose a brow at Cimmerian who didn't even offer a hello which, oddly, didn't bother him as much as he felt he should be bothered. Being a bit bad on the social skill set, seeing someone worse felt comforting. Even more so, she looked beat and in need of a break. He hoped that meant she was working hard.

Thr smell of smoke might have bothered him in the past but thr more he visited Faustite, the more the smell became synonomise with a strange ease.

Shortly after, Pendour showed up. He hadn't left on good or bad terms. Just a mural agreement to disagree. This time around he saw a noticable difference and tried not to focus but couldn't otherwise. While he hinself was sensitive to his own lost eye, he wanted to point it out and ask.

Maybe later. There were more people coming. "Hello Pendour. Are you...doing well tonight?" Or overall. What had happened?

Next came not only a cat which he was grateful kept some distance but also a knight with the most unusual outfit he had seen. "Is that your uniform or...an attempt at a disguise?" He couldn't be sure with Halloween so close.

Oh, and introductuons. "I'm Gevaudan."

Gevaudan looked up as yet another knight showed up. "Tonight is really busy." He commented to no one in particular.

"No. This isn't anything soecial. Just a very odd run in of knights. It seems when you have enough in a city, some eventually group up randomly like this." He sat up a bit straighter now.

"The name is Gevaudan."

He looked to the side. "I hope that cat is dampening all of this or else we are going to have a mass of Chaotic agents showing up."

Alphubel had been out and about on the streets at night a bit more, his outfit allowing him to be quite comfy in the colder night air. Unfortunately he hadn't seen any of the strangeness that usually happened during October, so he had started to get a bit jumpy in response to anything... unusual.

One of those things was what seemed to be a large aura of knights gathering in... some place. All he could do was follow, but he kept his guard up in case the Negaverse somehow managed to disguise their auras as that of knights.

He had kept his distance, only slowly going towards the gathering but as he got closer it seemed that they were indeed knights. Hopefully. He still couldn't tell if they were truly knights or not. Perhaps Negaverse agents had learned to disguise themselves?

It wasn't until he noticed the guardian cat wander in that he figured that the situation was probably safe. He let out a sigh, releasing some of the anxiety he had felt in case it really had been a Negaverse plot, and quietly wandered in to the group.

He didn't recognize any of the knights in the group, which made him realize just how little he had interacted with them so far. So he kept quiet for a bit, until he saw a knight with a skull and Alphubel jumped back a little, not expecting it to be so... large. It was like someone was carrying around Cubone's mother's skull. Creepy.

He heard what the hooded knight said, and it seemed that the gathering had been unexpected. Alphubel couldn't help but chuckle. "Glad I didn't miss anything then." He said, quietly, though if anyone heard him he didn't know.

Siegfried was unsettled, and when he was unsettled he went out on patrol. The cold air helped clear his head some, but it was the act of moving, of running, of jumping buildings that kept him from darker thoughts. He couldn't understand why Olivia still wanted to be someone she wasn't anymore. Why did it matter so much?

Why was it not enough to be themselves, whoever that turned out to be?

The Knight of Neptune happened upon the small meeting almost by accident. He couldn't feel the power signatures - the felines he saw probably damping them - but he noticed the outlandish costumes and the symbols on that clothing. Knights. And... another Neptune knight. He couldn't remember seeing any other knights of Neptune yet, and so he promptly went up to her - and the several knights around her - to introduce himself.

"Hi, I am Siegfried, Knight of Neptune," he said to Pendour, Alphubel, and Gevaudan. He thought the maroon and white knight looked... familiar, but he couldn't quite place from where. Curse of his light burned memory, probably.

He gave a little wave to them. "Didn't know we all sort of, congregated outside of Mars like this," he commented, looking at the decorations. Pretty, if a bit tacky.

More and more knights were gathering and he rose up, more at attention now than the relaxed and slouching position he had when he first sat down alone. The assemblage of knights had been more than he had ever seen outside of an official meeting and there hadn't been one of those in over a year.

"Hello fellow knights. I'm Gevaudan. It's a pleasure to meet you all by this strange night of happenstance. It's nice to see so many of us on patrol and active."

He was greatful to the cats for dampening their signatures and whistled over to them. "Thank you for keeping us hidden." He called to them.

"I suppose now is a good chance as any to get a feel of what everyone has been up to since the last meeting. I remember it being chaotic and many people didn't get a chance to speak? Maybe we can share a bit. Anyone up to anything or have any concerns since the last gathering?"
