Nicknames: Emers but she shudders when she hears it. Even the shorter Em is not met with a favorable response. Her name is a matter of pride with her and the easiest way to earn her ire is to shorten it.

Fav. Food: gravy! Any home made meat gravy is her downfall!

Hobbies:
Dancing - While in Mauvian form Ember is not going to win any competitions but she will wriggle her butt all the same, even if the music is only in her head. She enjoys all kinds of music and is naturally drawn to places where music is playing. Most people don't notice her shaking her groove thing but there is one video on you tube that she wishes didn't exist.
Roughing It -- Ember is an outdoor girl and loves to camp with human company, of course. Building a fire is hard without the benefit of thumbs. She's pretty handy with foraging or fishing and a nice warm fire to curl up by is ok by her. She likes to hike and stargaze and generally enjoys being in nature. Just don't try to give her s'mores - marshmallows are evil!
Climbing Trees -- Ember is a big fan of challenges and likes being high up so climbing trees is the natural hobby for her. She liked the adrenaline rush she gets and the challenge of going just one branch higher. And then another. And another. Added bonus? She gets to lay down and take a nap when she's done and listen to the birdies.
Collecting Pretties -- Ember likes pretty things. This can be anything from a pebble or a ribbon to a picture in a magazine. She stashes these things away almost like a dog, rooting through them when she wants to spend a rare quiet afternoon. She believes she can become what she sees so she likes surrounding herself with pretty things.
Riding -- Ember likes to ride from place to place. If she cannot find someone to carry her she will try to find some other method of transport like a bicycle basket. She will also resort to riding on the back of larger -friendly- dogs and even rode a horse once for a little while. She doesn't mind being in things while she rides, having been in a purse, basket, and a backpack so far while being toted around. As long as she can watch the world go by you will hear her purr.
Virtues:
Quick Thinking -- Ember is very smart. She picks up on concepts quickly and can utilize her intelligence and adaptability in situations that may not be in her favor. She's always thinking, though she may not seem like it and will always do what she can to make sure that what she wants to happen will happen. Which is good, because she can get herself into quite a bit of trouble. This helps in her friendships, too, by allowing her to think outside the box for creative solutions to their problems, too.
Charming -- Ember's purr is much better than her hiss. When you are with her she will make you think you are the only human in the world. And you are. When you have her she's yours entirely, focusing solely on you and your time together. She usually knows just how to word things or just how to lay or purr to make anyone putty in her hands, er, paws. She also uses her cuteness to her advantage. Her general charm serves to put people at ease in most situations.
Trustworthy - Ember's life deals in secrets, awakening senshi and working in this war. She knows the value of secrets, privacy, and the danger telling can bring. Therefore she will protect your privacy and your secrets with her life. It's what she does; she can't help it. For as long as she's needed she is there with a purr and some advice and if you pet her for it so much the better and you can be sure what you just told her will go with her to the grave. After all, if she spills your secrets no one else will tell her any! Being tricky may lead people to think she can't keep a secret but she can even if its just because of the dire nature of the secrets she keeps.
Flaws:
Possessive -- Ember is possessive over what she considers "hers." Hers here means anything she sees that she's determined she wants. This includes people and objects. If she feels someone is trying to take something that is hers please expect her to be hostile and defensive about it. She will fight to get it/them back. The only thing that stops her is one of her humans intervening or the offending person going away or giving up.
Proud -- Ember is very proud, as a person. She doesn't like to lose and she doesn't like feeling as if someone is devaluing her accomplishments. She does not like asking for help and will literally push herself to the brink before she can give in and accept someone trying to help her. When someone challenges her pride she will be flat out defensive of herself and what she has. Ember likes and needs to feel valued.
Tricky -- Ember is, unfortunately, very mischievous. Her resourceful and quick thinking nature is very useful, but can also be turned to less than helpful ends. She has no problem tricking someone into thinking she's hurt to get them to give her a ride across town or playing devil's advocate in conversations. This makes it hard to take the things she says at face value and people often think she's up to something even when she's not. She's never malicious with it intentionally, but it can come across that way when she makes a fool of someone.
