Disney & Harry Potter Clutch Candidate Sign Up!
Closes: Friday October 19th @ 6pm PST There are two clutches on the Sand at High Reaches! If you're interested in having your Candidate be considered for either clutch (or both), this is the thread to investigate. Or you can sign up your Candidate in the permanent sign-up thread! Things to Keep In MindYou do not get to pick what color of dragon you Impress. You can drop hints or tell people night and day what color of dragon you'd like them to Impress, but we will be matching based on personality, and what we think will make the best pairs.
Dragon personality, color, name, and inspiration are all pre-determined. You get what you get and cannot change them once given away. While personalities can grow and develop, we ask you try to at least keep your dragons personalties in mind when you RP them.
Do not complain, cry, whine, b***h, or grumble if you do not Impress. Do not complain, cry, whine, b***h, or grumble if you don't Impress a color you don't like.
Do not deter players or staff from entering their Candidates for consideration.
You may enter as many Candidates as you like provided they match the Weyr, but you may only Impress to one from each clutch (so 2 total). This is not guaranteed, however, so you might only Impress one, or none at all.
Staff may enter. To keep things a surprise only Uta and Mr Cheri will be matching Hatchlings to Candidates. This will be done privately and only revealed during the Hatching.
You do not have to enter your Candidates to RP them during the Hatching. Just know they will not be considered.
If you miss signing your Candidate up then they will not be considered for Impression. Sorry!
Please enter your Stands Impression characters OR aged out Candidates that are under 30 Turns if you wish them to be considered. No guarantees any of them will Impress.
Western Candidates have been invited to stand for both clutches. Those from Western who do Impress MUST stay in High Reaches Weyr for five Turns upon graduation. This is because the Weyr is investing its future into Candidates, so having them all run back to their home Weyr with their dragons isn't exactly what they want.
For non-Candidates from Western, you may have them come as guests helping to tote the Candidates and visitors to and from the Weyr, or as extra help in the kitchens, etc. Non-Highreaches Riders and Non-Riders need some sort of excuse to come to the Hatching itself! This is because Western Weyr isn't closing down just because High Reaches has a hatching. Your character might have been brought along to help bring food and supplies over.
You do not have to RP if you Impress. While we would love it if you gave the characters life should you Impress, it's not a requirement. However, we do tend to be more inclined to reward those who keep the dragons going after all the hard work we put in them.
You can only enter APPROVED Candidates. Don't sign up Candidates or character sheets that have not been signed off on by Uta or Mr Cheri.
If we do not find appropriate matches, or wind up with more dragons than eligible Candidates, we have the right to double up Impressions, or NPC the dragons to give away at a later date.

Please post this form to enter any eligible Candidates! As always, nothing is guaranteed to happen. Even if you sign up a character to die or get hurt doesn't mean it will.
