  Chaosura Kiaku & Chao Jiao-long
If you face down because youโre going to fall/You wonโt be able to see the universe
His voice successfully getting to the girl, Kiaku had walked over to the flame shielded little girl. Crouching down, he was wearing a bright smile as the girl's flames faded away. As she sat up and smiled, he nodded as she said his name. It didn't take long for her to wake up completely, though the reason for it wasn't all too clear. More than likely, she thought he wanted to play. That wasn't too far off from the truth, but he had to get the morning exercised out of the way first. Oh, that and breakfast.
As he turned his head to his grandfather as if to say something about the concern of food, the old man stopped him with his words alone. "If you're going to ask about breakfast, just go to the cafeteria this morning. Tell the staff that I'll pay for it," He told the boy as he started to head into his room. Stopping, he looked back at the two kids. Wearing a smile on his face as Tana greeted him, he found himself chuckling as he waved at her. "[Good morning Tana]," He told her, before going into his room to get ready for the day.
Nodding as his grandfather went into his room, the boy didn't hesitate to open the door to the dorm room. "Come on! Let's go," He chimed in happily, before leaving out the front door. Jogging out of the dorm, he was having some difficulties moving faster than he had before. With the weights around his legs, it was harder to move around. Course, he needed to get to a point where these didn't bother him at all. For now though, they were a pain in the tail.
[Courtyard]
Making it all the way to the courtyard, the boy looked around it for a bit. The whole thing was rather larger, but that was perfect for him. With a few trees scattered around, a fountain, and easy access to the rest of the main building, he was content. Looking at Tana, he let out a small laugh mere seconds before he started trying to run laps in the courtyard. His tail swaying back and forth with each step he took, he was moving at nowhere near the speed he had been the day before. Then again, he was weighed down by training weights that no rational person would wear.

Ten years of habit was one that would be hard to shake, but she figured that waking up early wasn't necessarily a bad thing. She took a shower and changed the bandages on her knees, thinking of the previous day with a smile. She had made a couple of blunders, but she was certain that she had made a couple of friends. The cute deer boy Ethan, the elegant girl of Reshwyn, and the prickly but ultimately kind-hearted Francis. She just had to hope that she could maintain the friendships, and not blow it early on. She didn't have much experience interacting with people outside of her parents, so making friends with new people was an unknown for her.
After getting dressed, Snow made her way to the school's courtyard. This early in the morning it was practically deserted, and it was a nice place to be alone with her thoughts. It was officially her first day of school. That thought brought so many mixed feelings into her head--the strongest of the two being excitement and dread. Excitement for what there was to learn. Dread for the fear that her home education wasn't up to par with the other kids', and that she would appear stupid in front of a group of people.
Snow began to do leisurely walks around the courtyard, trying to release her nervous energy. For a brief time she stopped and sat at the fountain, using the water inside to create small shapes, freeze them, and then throw them back into the water. After a short while of being there, the fountain was filled with frozen ice fish, bears, birds, deer, and various other forest creatures.
Lost in her own thoughts, Snow got up and began to make her way across the courtyard again. Only, she hadn't realized that she was no longer alone. The sound of fast footsteps brought her out of her thoughts. Five feet away was a small boy with dark blue hair, running straight for her. Snow's eyes went wide, and she found herself rooted in place as she thought Oh heck, not again! โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ ((ooc: )) ((outfit)) ((toeto))

Tana Dragon child
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tana chased after her friend, moving quickly on all fours. She treated it like a fun game of chase. She was rather curious about the strange objects he strapped to his limbs, she wondered if it was part of some game. She smiled happily as she felt the warm sun on her face, the sound of chirping birds and moving leaves made soothed her. Since she was rescued, there was never a moment she did not appreciate her new surroundings. She ran until she saw the fountain in the courtyard, except there was something unusual going on with the water. The water in the fountain was frozen into strange shapes, โUuuโฆโ She mumbled in awe as she darted straight for the fountain while her friend Kiaku heading towards a girl with white hair.
She came to a screeching halt, with her knees resting on the edge of the fountain. Her tail happily wagged behind her, she looked at all the strange frozen shapes. She recognized the fish; her stomach stepped in with a loud growl and before the hatchling knew it her hands reached out to snag the frozen fish. She held the cold sculpture in her hands for mere seconds before it melted in her warm grasp, โGao?โ She mumbled as she watched the water slip through her hands in disappointment that she was not quick enough to bring it to her hungry mouth.
The hatchling fed her curiosity with the fountain as she hopped in. Normally she hated water but she was contempt since it only went up to her ankles. She looked down at the water. She noticed her own reflection. The Hatchling stared in surprise as if she did not recognize herself at first. She tilted her head, her hair was a lot longer then she last saw it, her mother would tie it back for her, though she was not sure how to do it herself. She looked up from her reflection at her friend and the new girl, โKiaku!โ She chirped as she walked over to another ice sculpture, she splashed up some whatever with her gliding steps and giggled at the ice bear. Though her hot excited aura began to make the bear sweat.

Chaosuraxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Kiakuxxxxxxxxxxxxx Run! Faster than the windxxxxxAim! Farther than the skies
Starting his first lap around the courtyard, Kiaku was sure Tana was giving him chase once again. The girl had followed him all the way to the courtyard to play more than likely, so she must've thought it was a game of some sort. Turning his head to look back at her, he opened his mouth to tell her to keep up yet something was off. Watching as the girl went in a different direction, she started going towards the fountain that laid in the center of the courtyard. His eyes following her, he was unaware of the danger he was posing.
Confused by why she'd do that, he kept his gaze upon the girl. It was after a mere couple of seconds he turned his attention back to what was ahead. It was at that very moment he caught sight of an older girl who must've been just a few feet away. Reacting out of sheer instinct, he tried to jump over the girl. His tail slamming down on the ground in unison with his feet as they kicked off the ground, he did make the initial hurdle over the girl. Unfortunately, his body wasn't used to the extra weight that was on his legs.
Preparing to somersault, he tried to curl up midair only to descend far faster. Plopping onto the ground face first, the boy's body was quick to uncurl as he hit the grass. Skidding a little, laid on the ground for a moment before even considering to get up. His head feeling a bit rattled, a faint groan escaped his lips as he tried to get back up. Wobbling a little, he was a bit disorientated after taking that somewhat laughable fall. "I'm okay, I'm okay," He repeated as he tried to regain his sense of balance.
A minute or so passing, the boy hunched over and began to shake the grass and dirt off of his body. His attention shifting to the snow white girl before him, his emerald eyes locked onto her. "Lady, are you okay?" He asked as he looked her over. She seemed fine enough, but why did she just walk in front of him? Did she not notice he was there or did she expect him to avoid her entirely? Either way, he was at least glad she didn't get hurt. Though, he did still feel a bit shaken up after that kind of fall.

There was a little girl with vibrant blue hair and a tail playing in the water, grabbing at the frozen fish and bears, but melting them instantly. And there was the boy with the green hair watching the blue haired girl, running straight for Snow. The white haired girl was full deer in the headlights, able to take everything in but unable to act on it. She braced for impact, holding her hands out in front of her to try and push back some of the force of being run into.
Only, the boy didn't run into her? Snow watched with amazed eyes as he pushed hard off the ground, jumping completely over her. Unfrozen, she turned around in shock, only to watch him plop face first on the ground. "Oh my gosh, are you okay?!" she exclaimed, rushing to his side to help him up, but he managed to unsteadily get to his feet and say that he was okay. Snow watched him with a furrowed brow, not entirely believing the child's words.
Her attention was drawn away, however, by the sound of the other girl's voice. The girl was splashing around in the fountain, and Snow could see that she had found one of the bears, and was pointing it out to the other boy, presumably named Kiaku. Her attention was drawn back to Kiaku when he spoke to her again, calling her lady and asking if she was okay. Her eyes widened in surprise. "I'm fine, are you okay?!" she asked, glad for his concern but finding it unneeded. โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ ((ooc: )) ((outfit)) ((toeto))

Tana paused for a moment in her fascination with the ice sculptures to look over to Kiaku just in time to see him jump back up to his feet. She tottered over to the edge of the fountain, her feet splashed up droplets of water with each step. She sniffed the air to check if he was all right. She puffed up her cheeks and let out a small giggle when she knew he was all right, โGuehehehe!โ She too had trouble on two legs herself and still had the good sense to laugh at her own mistakes. In her gleeful moment, her wagging tail knocked over an ice sculpture. She quickly whipped around to see the shattered figure, her messy blue hair flung with her movement with droplets of water. She moved closer on all fours, she lightly frowned over the broken sculpture. She looked towards what was left, and continued her playfully skip and hop around the surviving ice shapes and did her best not to hurt them. The hatchling still wished to eat them, but chose to play with her food a little longer.

Checking himself out mentally, Kiaku raised his head up. Shaking himself off, he checked each individual limb. His right arm, followed by the left, then both of his legs right after the other. His tail rising into the air, he slammed it down upon the ground. Everything felt fine for the most part. Sure, he was a bit dizzy still, but over all he felt fine.
As the lady asked if he was fine for a second time, his emerald green eyes shifted towards her. Registering that she did confirm that she was okay, he shook himself off once again. Crouching down, he jumped up into the air. "Yeah, but I am not used to the weight yet," He said as he found himself falling to the ground far faster than he normally would have. He needed a lot more training while wearing these things, didn't he?
Upon hearing the sound of shattering ice, he turned to see that Tana had broken something made of ice. Staring at the scene, he turned over towards the unfamiliar lady. "Did you make that?" He asked, gesturing towards the destroyed ice sculpture. It did strike him as odd, considering it was fall. It wasn't suppose to start snowing for another couple of months, right? The only thing that made sense is they somehow made it.
While Tana played with the destroyed ice, he could tell the girl must've thought it was edible. Were dragons normally this prone to destroying things? The notion only furthered his disbelief that he could potentially be the same as her and Lieu. "I'm sorry she destroyed them. She doesn't mean to," He apologized, unsure how she felt about the girl taking the ice creations down.

For a moment Snow stared at it intently, before averting her gaze. She wasn't sure if it was weird to stare at someone's tail, but she had never seen a person with a tail before today. She asked the boy if he was okay, and he responded by jumping into the air and uttering a cryptic phrase. Weight? Snow's head cocked to the side and her eyebrows knit as she tried to determine what the boy meant. Studying him for a short while, she determined what he was talking about: a pair of training weights on his ankles.
Before she could ask why he was using them, there was the sound of something shattering, and Snow jumped and gave a small scream, turning towards where the noise came from. On the ground was a shattered crow. Snow relaxed, realizing the noise wasn't anything harmful. When the boy asked if she made it, Snow's hand went to her chest, and she nodded. She hoped he wouldn't ask her to recreate it--she was always nervous working the ice around people, and didn't want to lose control of the ice.
Snow was surprised when the boy apologized for his friend. Her eyes widened, and her mouth popped open slightly. She didn't particularly care that the ice had been destroyed--it was going to melt eventually, after all. "Oh, it's uh, it's not a problem," she got out, giving the small boy and girl a smile. "With the water, uh, there, they're um, they're really easy to make. If I wanted to, I could, uh, make another one," she told the boy with a smile. She didn't make an offer to recreate the broken sculpture--she didn't want to tempt fate. If he asked though, she could probably make something for him? Maybe a little lizard, or a dragon? Because both kids had tails? โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ ((ooc: )) ((outfit)) ((toeto))

The hatchling skipped and giggled happily in the fountain, she did her best to tread carefully around the surviving sculptures, but her tail had something else in mind. Crackle, PSSSCK, the sounds of delicate ice shattering against her crimson red tail. Before she realized what she had done there was only one sculpture remaining. The hatchling crawled over to the ice on all fours; her hands and feet splashed the water around. There was one fish remaining, she stared at it with an intense gaze as if it were the last of itโs kind- it probably was. She planned to just watch it until her nose picked up the delicious scents from the cafeteria. Her pupils began to slowly narrow into thin slits along with a hungry growl from her stomach. She knew not to just grab it with her hands; it melted too quickly.
She ducked down low enough to hide from those outside the fountain; she was still like a tiger in the brush. She was ready to attach the ice fish, her tail suddenly rose up into the air and she lounge straight toward it. The water splashed up around her as she went in head first to catch it with her teeth. She felt a shiver run down her spine as the cold reached her sharp teeth.
The ice melted shortly after in her mouth, cold water, the hatchling tumbled across the fountain in disappointment. Her clothes and hair were dripping wet, her wild bands drooped over her eyes, and her lips were bent in a sad frown, โG-gaoโ She lightly mumbled as she got back up, and tottered out of the fountain over to her friend with her tail dragging behind her. When she reached them, the hatchling came to slow halt, her head aimed low to the ground. She released a small sigh, before she began to shake her hair and body; water droplets sprayed the air, what little moisture remained quickly evaporated off with her body heat. Her long neon blue hair puffed up, and she sadly looked up at her friend, โKiakuโฆโ She softly mumbled.

Chaosuraxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Kiakuxxxxxxxxxxxxx Run! Faster than the windxxxxxAim! Farther than the skies
As he apologized to the older girl, she did something that caught him very off guard. Stating that it wasn't a problem, he cocked his head back. It didn't really make sense to him, but her following words made him rather curious. Making it sound as if she could make more of them with ease. Wait, was that possible? Well, it was, but the boy was yet to remember something very crucial that he wasn't able to do.
After nearly what felt like a few minutes had passed in his own head, he opened his jaw as if to speak. A long drawn out ah coming out of his mouth, he finally was able to connect the dots to some extent. "You are able to use magic, aren't you?" He asked as his tail straightened up. Wagging slightly, he looked rather excited to meet someone who was able to use something even remotely similar to magic.
Before he could get an answer from him, he heard a wet sloshing sound approaching them. Turning his head to watch Tana approach, the girl looked absolutely soaked. Shaking off, she looked like a canine that got wet to him, but what confused him was that the water simply disappeared somehow. Feeling the air heat up slightly, he tried to understand what in the world was happening. It took a second for him to process the likelihood that his new friend was actually the origin point of this heat.
With a sad look on her face, the girl softly called out to him. It didn't take a teacher to figure out she was upset, but he was attempting to figure out why she was so down. Moving close to her, he reached over towards her head and began to ruffle up her hot head. "Are you upset about the ice...or...?" He began to ask, thinking about it slowly. When they first met, she was eating a lot. His brain acting rather quickly, he turned his head towards the white haired girl. "She's hungry, I think," He informed her, truthfully taking a wild shot in the dark when it came to Tana.

His head tilted to the side at her words, saying that she had made the ice figures. She tilted her head to the side and gave him a small smile, unsure how to respond to the situation. She thought she had been pretty clear. The only way she could think of that would clarify the situation would be to demonstrate her power for the boy. Sighing in defeat, Snow brought her hands up to start crafting a small ice dragon.
Before she could start drawing water from the air, however, the boy made a long "ah" sound, as though he finally understood. "You are able to use magic, aren't you?" he asked, his tail perking up and his face brightening. Snow couldn't help but give a big smile at his excitement, even if his wording wasn't exactly correct. Before she could answer his question, however, his friend who was playing in the fountain came sloshing over, head down and mumbling the word "Kiaku". The boy's name? The girl shook herself off, and Snow watched with horrified fascination as the went from wet to dry in a matter of seconds, the water evaporating away. She couldn't entirely explain the fear, but something that was hot enough to evaporate water that quickly did not rest well with her icy soul.
Trying to put the fear behind her, Snow swallowed hard and focused back on the boy. "Uh, s-something like that. I can, um, control ice," she told him. "I think the proper term is, um, elemental." The boy seemed more focused on his friend, however, and was patting the other girl's head. After a moment, he turned to Snow, and said that the other girl must be hungry. Snow wasn't entirely sure why the girl couldn't just say this for herself, but trusted the boy's judgement. "Well, we could um, always go to the uh, the cafeteria and get, um, breakfast," she suggested. She was beginning to feel a bit peckish herself, and some bacon and eggs sounded particularly delicious that day. โโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโโ ((ooc: )) ((outfit)) ((toeto))

 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Kitsu couldn't believe she was finally going to have her first day of classes. It was still mind boggling that she decided to go off to a school; in a new, strange country non the less. She was nervous, a bit scared, but in the end she knew she was safe. Still not comfy being herself, but maybe soon... She kept telling herself that at least. She pulled her jacket tighter around herself, hands holding the fabric more for effect than function as it was quite capable of doing so on its own. She was making her way down one of the many halls of QCA that morning, a bento box neatly wrapped in cloth hanging from one of her fingers. Unlike many other students, she was not heading toward the cafeteria, but instead in search of another place to eat get hand made breakfast. Passing an open door leading out onto a small balcony, she stopped and peaked out. The day was nice and sun seemed to be on the other side of the school for the time being, thank the solars. Looking around the balcony, Kit was a few stories up with the lower sloping roof all around. Not too far down the roofline, it seemed to come to a more shallow slope with a little roof gable behind it to lean against. "Yes. That is perfect." Her voice came out small, threatening to be carried off by the breeze. She was trying to practice her Aestonian more, but she still had trouble sometimes and hoped her classes and interacting with people would help. If she could bring herself to interact that is...
But she shook the thought from her head, turning her attention back to the roof. With a small leap that seemed to have more power than her tiny body should be capable of, Kit easily hopped onto the banister of the balcony, then dropped onto the roof with another. Making her way across the slope, nonchalantly as if still down the halls, Kitsu easily made it to her destination. Plopping herself down on the tiles, expertly balancing herself against the raised part behind her, she slowly untied the bento. There were three tiers to the box, with a nice lid on top. The cloth, which she laid out beside her, had a simple pattern of black and white swirls, following her favorite color scheme. The box itself was even more simple, black with white swirled trim at the top of each tier, and a crescent moon image on the lid. Removing and setting the lid on her lap like a tray, she began gingerly placing the tires on the cloth next to her, making sure they sat just right not to slide down. The first was the main breakfast, a vegetable rice roll cut neatly and arranged around a few small octopuses. Some ginger sat off to the side for a garnish. The second tier was more of a dessert platter: sesame bean balls and sweet inari. And the final tier was her snack tier with five neatly packed onigiri that she would eat throughout the day. Taking up her chopsticks and clasping her hands together, she bowed to her food with a soft word of thanks in Drapponian before she began to dig in. Silver eyes turned to the blue skies, just imagining being up there in the clouds.

Tana Dragon child
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tana released a soft sigh while she mopped, a small cloud of blue smoke escaped her pouting lips. The sources of her low mood were the ice sculptures she could not play with, and her hungry stomach. The hatchling had a long way to go before she could control her monstrous strength, the large buildings looked sturdy enough to withstand harsh weather and earthquakes; but not strong enough against a dragonโs strength. Whenever she stepped inside them, it felt as though she were walking into a building made of cardboard. She raised her hand to her face to lightly rub her nose with the back of her hand.
Tanaโs mood quickly perked up when she felt a hand gently ruffle her messy blue locks. She melted into joyful delight as she pressed her head up against his hand and happily chuckled. Her tail happily wagged behind her as she tried to playfully grasp at his hand. Head pats were at the top of her list of favorite things; food was first. The hatchling was not sure what the two spoke about while she moped, or if she could understand if she had listened, no familiar words. She was curious to know what was next,- or rather her stomach was anxious to know when the next meal would be. She lightly grabbed Kiakuโs sleeve as she placed her other hand over her stomach, โKiakuโฆFoโฆfood?โ She softly asked with begging puppy dog eyes.
Tana paused when she felt a slight chill beside her; she looked over to the girl with white hair and bright blue eyes. She was the source. She released Kiaku as she looked in awe of the new person, she stared at her from head to toe. This was really the first good look she gave the girl, she was too dazzled by the ice to give much notice to anything else. The cold air tickled her sensitive nose. The girl was cute and appeared frail. The hatchling figured she could not play much with her, in fear she could break her, but that did not discourage the hatchling from wanting to make a new friend,โN..nameโฆTana!โ The hatchling introduced herself with a loud and clear voice as she patted her hand over her chest. She then pointed her warm hand towards the girl with a smile, โNโฆname!?โ She chirped as she stood up straight and waited for an answer.

Chaosuraxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Kiakuxxxxxxxxxxxxx Run! Faster than the windxxxxxAim! Farther than the skies
Still ruffling up the hair of his friend, Kiaku's ears perked up a bit as he received an explanation about the ice. The term elemental was something he'd heard before from his grandfather, but he didn't think he'd encounter someone with those abilities so early on in life. It was made out to be this grand thing to the child, so he imagined them to be some elite and powerful spirits or mages. Never did he imagine this frail looking young woman. Slowly tilting his head, he noticed something kind of odd. "Are you okay?" He asked, his hand still on Tana's head.
Before he could get an answer from her, he felt Tana's hands grasp at his. Glancing down over at her, he smiled as she was alerted by the mention of food. Nodding, he looked back at the older girl. She did say they had breakfast ready in the cafeteria, so why not go there? "Yeah, let's go eat...uhh..." He began to say, before a sudden pause hit him. Standing there with a blank expression, he stared at the white haired girl for a bit. Did he even know what her name was? Before he could say anything, he was cut off by Tana giving her name. Oh yeah, that was right! Introductions were in order.
Standing beside her for a bit, the boy looked at Tana as she stood up straight. Startled by how much taller she was than him, he froze up. After a moment, he shook it off and turned towards the girl. With bright emerald green eyes, he started to smile happily. "I'm Kiaku!" He chimed in, his tail swaying back and forth in a serpentine motion. Though he was surprised by a few little things, he was starting to get very excited for what was to come. Though, he still didn't expect Tana to be so tall when standing up. Joining Tana in the waiting game, he eagerly awaited the snowy girl to introduce herself to them as well.
