Welcome to Gaia! ::

So PaperShark and I have come up with a new idea for some new gaia items. Ever dreamed of having your own real-life gaia fish in your arms? Do you dream of cuddling with your favorite gaia fish at night while you dream of catching that beautiful rare? Do you want to proudly be walking down the street while your favorite fish dangles from your keys or even your purse or backpack? Would you like to plaster your notebooks and binders and maybe even your walls and doors with your favorite fish? If you answered yes to any of these questions, we have a possible solution, gaia created fishing merchandise!!!! I've discussed this idea with PaperShark and our very own captain AvatarRoku, and we propose petitioning gaia to create some real-life fishing items to collect and proudly display our love for fishing!!!!

I am reserving a space to put my thoughts and input on this idea. I want to initially say that I do support this for a variety of reasons. Please allow me to fill out later with my thoughts!

(Personally would purchase keychains, stickers, notebooks, plushies, and even a R/L mask would be awesome!)

I really believe that Fishing based merch would be a great idea for a few reasons. I know my thoughts may not be universally accepted, but hear me out.

•Monetary: Instead of directly monetizing the re-written game in the future, this provides Gaia with a way to receive income from the Fishing game and its supporters. I think alot of people love plushies, and there would be more customers outside of Fishing.

•Advertisement: Seeing this in a business manner, people sporting this merch in the real world provides a talking point that can introduce new people to the game. Perhaps someone sees your guppy keychain and asks what it is or where it is from- you can introduce them and refer them to Gaia.

•Fisher's Pride: There are so many of us who really enjoy the game and would love to show our support and pride through merchandise. Personally, I would LOVE to have my own plushie of a rare, or even a Logan sticker!

•Game Care: The game is currently neglected, and trophies haven't been delivered in nearly a year and a half. If the game made them a little bit of income, I believe Gaia may stay on top of it better.

Just thought about another merch idea. I remember as a kid having a poster with all the original Pokemon on it- I would LOVE to see a poster with all the fish of Gaia on it.

Or a keychain of Logan that had him cycle through all his post-bucket catch phrases when you pressed a button! xd
