◎ Aera is a Magic that allows its users to sprout large angelic wings that give them the ability to fly. While flying, the user can carry objects or people, but is limited to carrying only one passenger. Furthermore, there is also a time limit to how long the user can fly, as the wings disappear after the user's Magic Power is depleted. The users can also change the speed in which they fly, but the faster they go, the more Magic Power they consume.
» Max Speed: By using Magic Power the user increases their speed to the extremes, allowing them to fly a distance relative to the amount they used. This speed can be used to dodge incoming attacks. While using this spell, the user can also carry one additional person. However, this spell is restricted by the amount of Magic Power the user has, as once the user runs out, they will collapse.
» Max Speed Attack: While flying and using Max Speed, the user strikes the target with their head, dealing a strong blow.
» Whirlwind Attack: By flapping their wings, the Exceed can create giant whirlwind that'll blow back opponents and even inanimate objects of considerable weight.
◎◎ [Magic: Battle Mode Shift] ◎◎
◎ The Battle Mode Shift ability grants the user to temporarily transform into a larger-sized scale of oneself, gaining an increase in strength, stamina, and power. This mode, however, has been shown to be difficult to manage, as the user can usually only maintain it for a short period of time. Rex, however, has trained himself to the point where the mode can be maintained for days, if he wanted to.
» Enhanced Durability: Thanks to years of training with Kai, Rex has attained durability that's almost on par with any Primordial/Primeval/Ancient Slayers.

◎◎ Main Magic: [Primordial] Lightning Dragon Slayer [14] ◎◎
◎ A type of Magic which allows the user to incorporate the element of lightning into their body, gaining exclusive characteristics that are commonly associated with Lightning Dragons. The user is capable of producing lightning from their body and of manipulating it to attack their opponents. This Magic’s spells seem to possess an incredibly high voltage, being particularly destructive, and the electricity of which they’re composed of seems capable of momentarily paralyzing foes, making it easier for the user to take them out; however, their trajectory may be redirected by metal objects acting as “lightning rods”, thus redirecting the attacks.
Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic, being a form of Dragon Slayer Magic, likely allows its user to consume external sources of electricity and lightning to restore their body and replenish their strength reserves. However, this won't work for lightning they produced themselves.
This Magic has been upgraded from regular Lightning Dragon Slayer Magic, making it much more powerful than before. This is due to its user becoming a Primordial Dragon Slayer and, as such, making the Magic itself much more powerful. The same is true with any other upgraded Dragon Slayer Magics which are Primordial level.
BASIC SPELLS
» Lightning Dragon's Roar
The Lightning Dragon Slayer's exclusive Dragon's Roar, incorporating the element of lightning. Kai gathers lightning in his mouth and releases it in the form of a concentrated, destructive blast, capable of destroying everything in a wide area in front of them. By moving his head around as he casts it, he can also employ this spell in an arched trajectory, enabling him to hit enemies that may not be in his direct path.
» Lightning Dragon's Iron Fist
Kai engulfs one of his fists in lightning and punches the target, causing sheer blunt damage.
» Lightning Dragon's Claw
Kai sparks his feet or hands with electricity and proceeds to assault the opponent with a powerful lightning-enhanced kick or swipe, with the sparks greatly augmenting the power of said kick.
» Lightning Dragon's Wing Attack
Kai rushes forward against two opponents. While doing so, he produces a large stream of lightning from each of their arms, which, when it comes in contact with the foes, releases a high voltage attack and at the same time sends them flying away behind them due to the blunt force of the produced lightning.
» Lightning Dragon's Horn
Kai engulfs his body in lightning and then rams his opponent at high speed, in the form of a spinning headbutt.
» Lightning Dragon's Thunder Wave
By snapping his fingers, Kai can send a shock-wave that stuns anyone caught in its radius. The radius spans several kilometers. However, the radius will grow shorter depending on Kai's condition at the time of the attack being cast. It can stun multiple enemies. Having mastered this ability, Kai can pinpoint whoever he wishes to stun within this shock-wave. Meaning that friends and allies won't be affected by this attack.
» Lightning Dragon's Raging Bolts
With a hand raised to the clouds above, Kai lets bolts of lightning descend upon all enemies in the vicinity, upon clenching his fist.
» Lightning Dragon's Breakdown Fist
Kai punches the air, releasing a giant, high-speed lightning blast in the shape of a fist, which, upon contact with the target, generates a massive, sparking explosion.
ADVANCED SPELLS
» Lightning Dragon's Heavenward Halberd
Kai raises his hands and forms lightning between them, forming a very large trident out of it. He then hurls the spear at the enemy at full force and speed. He can also hurl it at multiple enemies in a row, increasing the damage output per foe hit.
» Lightning Dragon's Storm Pillar
Kai raises both of his hands high up, summoning a storm cloud above him and a massive area range around him and then brings down giant pillar composed of lightning upon a select amount of target.
» Lightning Dragon's Jaw
Kai joins his hands and imbues them with a large amount of lightning. He then proceeds to strike the target down from above with his joined hands, causing it grievous damage; the remaining electricity is discharged in the surrounding area, heavily damaging foes and inanimate objects as well. The crater formed from the power of the attack also creates a large, circular destructive wave, paralyzing anyone who approaches.
» Lightning Dragon's Roaring Thunder
Kai rushes at the target and releases a large burst of lightning from their fist, heavily damaging and electrocuting the target, whilst also pushing them away with immense force.
» Lightning Dragon's Discharge Machine Gun
Kai gathers electricity on his fists and his arms, covering both in a thick layer of electricity. Once the lightning is charged enough, he charges his opponent at great speeds, releasing a powerful barrage of lightning-enhanced punches. Each hit discharges a large amount of electricity to the opponent, causing what seems to be miniature explosions. These punches are hard to be seen by normal eyes, as the user's arms and fists seem to turn into actual lightning. Due to the immense strength and speed of the punches, it's possible to release extreme amount of air pressure from the strikes, causing both external and internal damage towards the opponent.
» Lightning Dragon's Bolt Blasters
Kai summons giant balls made out of concentrated lightning, which he can freely control. He uses these balls of lightning to shoot bolts at enemies across the battlefield. Kai can also use these lightning spheres like bombs. All they need to do is charge straight at enemies, releasing an explosion of static energy, each with the power to devastates large cities.
◎◎ Sub Magic: Dragon Transformation [7] ◎◎
◎ This ability allows Kai to take on Dragon qualities, such as claws, arms, scales, wings, and even horns. This Magic allows him to become much more like a Dragon, giving him a much better edge in battle. But the one downfall of this magic is that it makes Kai much more susceptible to Dragon Slaying Magic. He's able to use the Magic himself, but if someone else uses it against him, he takes more damage from it than usual. Other than that, this ability is considered to be incredibly useful.
BASIC SPELLS
» Dragon's Scaly Arms
This spell allows Kai to turn his own arms and hands into that of a Dragon's. When transformed, this enhances Kai's own strength, making him stronger than before. This can be used to enhance punches, especially accompanied by his respective Dragon's Punch. Otherwise, it can be great for ripping open doors that are barred by the enemy. Or he can use it to rip his opponent to shreds.
» Dragon's Scaly Legs
This spell allows Kai to turn his own legs and into that of a Dragon's. When transformed, this enhances Kai own strength, making him stronger than before. This can be used to enhance kicks, especially accompanied by his respective Dragon's Kick. Otherwise, it can be great for kicking open doors that are barred by the enemy.
» Dragon's Dreadful Horns
This spell allows Kai to grow his very own set of Dragon horns. A Dragon's horns are said to be tougher than diamonds, so it'd be useful for ramming into someone or something with. Though it depends on if the horns are curved or straight. Though he can grow between one and four horns, depending on his Dragon form.
ADVANCED SPELLS
» Dragon's Rippling Scales
This spell allows Kai to cover his body in scales, which makes for a natural defense. Though these scales are not as tough as the Iron Dragon's Scales. They're still pretty tough, and great to use against enemies that use physical combat as a battle style. Though it's possible for the scales to be knocked off, revealing regular skin underneath still.
» Dragon's Tremoring Tail
This spell allows Kai to grow a Dragon's tail from their backside. The size and shape of the tail depend on the user's own Dragon form. It's easy to control, and is completely prehensile. So you can easily pick someone up with it or stop someone's hand or foot from hitting you. The possibilities are... somewhat limited.
» Dragon's Luxurious Wings
This spell allows Kai to grow a pair of Dragon wings from their back. It also gives him the ability to fly, though how high and far depend on his own stamina. Someone with a lot of stamina can easily fly for miles, and way high up into the sky, as if an actual Dragon themselves.
» Dragon's Ravenous Roar
This spell allows Kai to change his vocal chords into that of a Dragon's. By doing this, he is able to release a loud roar from his mouth. This roar, being very reminiscent of a Dragon's itself, is able to strike fear into most anything that hears it, making them stop fighting or even run away in terror.
◎◎ Sub Magic: Lightning Magic [12] ◎◎
◎ Lightning Magic is a branch of Elemental Magic that utilizes electricity, more specifically, lightning, as a form of offense and defense. Mages who possess the ability to utilize such Magic are able to generate these elements from their bodies, and manipulate them, even shaping their attacks as they wish. Users of Lightning Magic are also capable of utilizing lightning from a distance, such as from the ground near them, or down from the sky. Lightning attacks work by electrocuting the opponents to various degrees, and there are spells that are said to be capable of completely paralyzing enemies, due to the extremely high voltage of the electricity employed in their use. Because of the high amounts of light produced with its use, Lightning Magic can also be utilized to blind opponents, albeit for a short amount of time.
Similar to other types of Elemental Magic, Lightning Magic can allow the user to transform their body into the element they control: by transforming into a lightning bolt, the user is able to avoid physical attacks, and have the added advantage of traveling around at very high speeds and damaging everyone or everything they come in contact with, much like real lightning.
BASIC SPELLS
» Lightning Body
Kai covers his body in lightning, greatly increasing his speed, and, effectively, turning him into an actual lightning bolt, thereby granting Kai great flexibility and maneuverability.
» Thunder Palm
Kai puts his hands on the target's body and electrocutes them with a powerful surge of electricity.
» Magnum Bolt
Kai leaps into the air above the opponent and projects a bolt of lightning from his fingers, paralyzing them for a few moments and causing them pain.
» Gigawatt Blades
Kai forms blades of pure lightning energy around each of his hands which allow him to cause maximum amounts of damage while melee attacking. This technique channels a high concentration of electricity to Kai's hands. The amount of energy is so great that it becomes visible. Once the technique is completed, Kai charges forward and thrusts or slashes the target.
» Arc Lightning
Kai shoots a stream of lightning from his hands that chains off of conductive surfaces and enemies. The technique can branch out to an unlimited amount of targets, as long as they are within the range of Kai's attack. It also increases the damage received by enemies that are hit by the Arc Lightning.
» Graviton Shockwave
Kai sends electric shockwave that can be used to push people and objects out of his way. It can be a weak attack or a deadly one. The range and blast radius is also massive, able to produce maximum damage to anyone caught by the ability. The Shockwave ability will also explode any explosive objects in the area.
» Cluster Grenades
Kai tosses a lightning grenade which in turn splits into 8 smaller grenades almost immediately after being thrown. Each individual grenade has a massive blast damage. They will also bounce off of buildings and most objects, but it will stick to any living targets that come in contact with them. It is excellent for use on large groups of enemies, but at medium range, it can also be used to deliver major damage to humongous enemies.
ADVANCED SPELLS
» Thunder Drop
Kai jumps from a high place, charges his body with electricity, then hits the ground at full force, sending a shockwave of energy in all direction to all enemies. While in mid air, Kai collects the natural electrons from the atom particles of normal air. The longer he stays in contact with the wind during his fall, the more electrons he gathers and the more damage the move does when it hits the ground.
» Overload Blast
After taking several seconds to power up, Kai can fire a powerful lightning bolt from his hand that chains off conductive surfaces, striking anyone near a metal object. It also causes massive damage to the specific target and anyone nearby.
» Lightning Storm
Kai calls down from the sky a storm of lightning that does massive damage to the surroundings and anyone in its path. Lightning Storm is a trail of carnage carved by brute force. It is very effective when encountering a large group of enemies.
» Static Triangle
Kai jumps high in the sky, attacking his target with lightning three times in a triangular pattern, sending the target flying.
» Alpha Rocket
Kai fires a huge payload of explosive electric energy with pinpoint accuracy and explodes on contact with anything. The ability has a wide blast radius and can home in on whoever Kai targets. it also deals splash damage.

◎◎ Ultimate Magic Attacks [11] ◎◎
» Dragon Force:
When a Dragon Slayer enters Dragon Force, they effectively turn into a humanoid Dragon, gaining reptilian scales and traits, such as further elongated, and sharper, canines and scale-like patterns on their skin. Dragon Force is the final, most powerful state a Dragon Slayer can attain; granting them power comparable to that which a real Dragon possesses: the power to utterly destroy everything. When Kai goes into this state, he gains the above, and his whole body is surrounded by incredible amounts of static energy. At times, a thunder-wave will passively burst from his body, stunning anyone within ten feet of him.
» Lightning Dragon Drive:
The Drive spell is exclusive to 3rd, 6th, and 7th Generation Dragon Slayers; and as the name indicates, it is activated via some kind of mechanism; in this case, Drive is initiated by harnessing the power of the Dragon Slayer Lacrima which is embedded within the user's body. Upon command, the Lacrima begins to distribute the Dragon Slayer Magic Particles stored within the crystalline orb at a swifter pace, accelerating the output and flow of magic from the Lacrima to the user's body in order to enhance all of their fortes, increasing the strength, speed, and potential that the user possesses tenfold, allowing them to take on even foes much more powerful than themselves; entering a state of enhanced awareness and peak physical ability as their element cloaks around them. While in this state, the user demonstrates heightened reflexes and extremely quick information processing, and it amplifies the powers of their Dragon Slayer Magic without exhausting themselves. This state grants the user the ability to perform new spells; as well as making their pre-existing spells far more powerful, with various users only employing several skills only while in Drive.
Lightning Dragon Drive is the exclusive Drive of a Lightning Dragon Slayer. This brings out the true capabilities of a Dragon Slayer. It's pretty much an enhanced version of Dragon Force, meaning that along with Dragon Force, there is this. This enhances Kai's physical prowess, along with his speed, making him almost three times better. When this ability is used, Kai will be surrounded by an lightning energy, making it seem as if he is possessed by a phantom of lightning energy. This "shield", or aura, emulates very powerful surges of static energy, causing anyone too close to the user to be buffeted by electric energy and miniature sparks. This makes it much like a defensive form, than an offensive form. Kai receives peak physical ability, and enters an enhanced state of speed and awareness. This form is said to be the true "power that kills Dragons". It's possible to perform completely new spells, along with greatly enhanced versions of them, while in this form.
» Lightning Dragon King Mode:
Lightning Dragon King Mode is a unique ability granted unto a Lightning Dragon Slayer by Arcohm, the Lightning Dragon King. Utilizing the residual, inert Magic Power of the dragon soul that resides within him, a draconian tattoo appears on Kai's arm that serves as the physical manifestation of the aforementioned Magic Power; this power took Kai over a year of dedicated training to master. As a result of the sheer volume of the Magic Power itself, before even properly utilizing the power to its fullest, he radiates incredible volumes of electric energy, and his speed and power drastically increase to levels that allow him to fight toe-to-toe with beings as incredulously powerful as Zeref, and even completely destroy and nullify forbidden, powerful Magic such as Ankhseram Black Magic. When the Magic Power is exerted to its maximum, in a radius expanding meters, the sky blackens, thunderous howling in the sky as rather massive lightning strikes rain down upon the field, and Kai becomes cloaked in static energy that roughly resembles a silhouette of Arcohm. The mode is said to be the manifestation of Arcohm's undying will. However, the Magic Power bestowed is extremely finite, and once it runs out, the user must draw power from another Dragon Soul to use it again.
Kai's own physical changes make him seem much like a human version of Arcohm himself. The edges of his face are covered in golden scales, stopping at the tip of his chin and jawbone. His teeth become sharper, and much more canine. His eyes become more bright and shinier than his regular golden eyes. His hair, stands upright, as if a gust of wind hit him from below. His arms, down to his wrists, become covered in golden scales, and he has golden bracelets in the shape of lightning bolts seeming to float around his wrists. A pair of lightning golden horns grow from the sides of his heads, lightning bolt-shaped, curved slightly to the back and lightning energy emitting from them. The points seem to flash bright gold like a light-bulb. His fingers seem to turn into claws, as do his feet. His pants become torn and tattered, showing more golden scales underneath, reaching down to his ankles. Golden lightning-shaped bracelets also seem to be floating around his ankles, too. The clothes which once graced his upper body seem to eviscerate from the immense amounts of static energy, turning into ash and dust, revealing golden scales covering every part of his body except from the sides of his neck down. His back seems to have sharp, lightning-imbued spikes sticking out of it, making his appearance that much more terrifying. He also has a pair of large, golden, scaly dragon wings, which sprout out of his back. There seems to be a strange golden energy in the "veins" of the wings, emitting static electricity. He also seems to have golden accessories, which seem like bits of armor, gracing him all over his body. He also seems to have a white cape, as if created from the clouds, which sparks behind him. Every now and then, his body exudes a blast of static energy, blowing back anything within ten feet of him.
» Lightning Dragon King's Thunderous Roar:
Kai gathers an incredible amount of static energy within his mouth, storing in as much as he can. When he has gathered enough, he opens his mouth, and releases an incredibly large stream of lightning energy from his mouth. The blast is large enough that it could take out a whole town with ease. The blast is destructive enough to ravage the land beneath it, and leave a large, U-Shaped valley in its wake. Only usable in Lightning Dragon King Mode.
» Lightning Dragon King's Storm Fist:
Kai charges his fist for a brief moment, releasing a large quantity of static energy in the process, blindingly bright. Afterwards, Kai releases it all in a single punching motion, dealing massive damage to the target; so massive, in fact, that it even eviscerates Kai's victim into ash and dust, regardless of their size. Only usable in Lightning Dragon King Mode.
» Lightning Dragon King's Exploding Eye of the Emperor:
After creating great spiraling lightning centered on his location before amassing it at a focused point (i.e. the palm of his hand), Kai then turns it into a gigantic ball of lightning, 50 times larger than himself and with a brightness resembling the sun, before hurling it at his opponent to try to obliterate them. Golden lightning is sent from the base target and leaving no more than a lake's size crater where it once was. It could possibly even wipe out a whole town, if Kai wanted to do so. Only usable in Lightning Dragon King Mode.
» The Bolts that Scorch the Earth: Lightning Spear of Olympia:
A spell similar in unstoppable and destructive power as Crimson Lotus: Phoenix Blade. Kai begins by clenching his fists, gathering immense amounts of static energy in the air and gradually building it all up in his body, making him glow brighter by the second, eventually being so bright it's impossible to see. Sparks of electricity will be flying everywhere and a storm cloud will emerge, as if answering a summoning from a higher power, amplifying the electric energy even more in the process. Kai then opens his hands and crosses his forearms against each other, before going down on the floor, as if preparing himself for a sprint race. He concentrates all of the built up static energy for the upcoming attack, pitch black clouds roaring so loud that the world might end at any minute. Kai finally shoots himself against the target, destroying anything and everything in it's path, like a spear thrown by Zeus himself, he headbutts his enemies, eviscerating them all into ash.
» The Bolts that Scorch the Earth: Thunderstorm Finale:
The ultimate technique of any Lightning Dragon Slayer: one of the Dragon Slayer's Secret Arts. To begin this technique, Kai must first gather incredibly large amounts of lightning into his arms, causing them to glow with intense and incredible light, able to easily blind those around him. This lightning is then launched into the sky in the form of a large and destructive pillar of raging lightning, obliterating anything weak that happens to come in contact with it. Yet this is only the beginning. When the lightning reaches high enough, black clouds cover the sky, seeming to swirl around the area that the pillar of lightning stopped. Above the clouds, the stopped pillar of lightning begins to form into a large ball, gathering the electricity from the storm clouds. Once the ball gets big enough, then the fun begins. The ball splits into smaller balls, which begin to rain down from the sky. When it comes into contact with someone or something, it releases multiple lightning bolts, the amount of damage depending on the size of the ball. Though they can turn almost anything they come into contact with into nothing more than ash. Though he ball above the clouds is still gathering energy, and once it gets big enough, causes lightning to rain down from the clouds in the area that said clouds cover. These bolts can vaporize anything that they touch, leaving next to nothing behind.
» Draconic Transformation:
This spell allows Kai to completely transform into a full-grown Dragon, his size and form representing that of a Western Dragon. He also seems to give off an aura befitting of their element, which is lightning, making it difficult to approach him. He can easily fly incredibly high or far, and take down scores of Mages with absolute ease. Though when transforming into a Human once more, Kai is usually bedridden between one and three days. Unless his stamina is healed to get them in tip-top shape again.
» Cloud Commandment: Thunder Palace:
A Magic spell in which the user creates multiple Lacrima filled with enormous amounts of Lightning Magic and suspends them high up in the air in a circular formation around the target. When the orbs are released, everything below the circle is struck by powerful lightning bolts. If all the Lacrimas are released at once, this spell is said to be powerful enough to destroy the entire Magnolia Town. The orbs are extremely durable, making it very difficult to destroy one. And if if one of them manages to be destroyed, the ginormous amount of lightning magic condensed in that specific orb will be released upon them.
» Cloud Commandment: Ionic Storm:
The Ionic Storm is the single most powerful attack in Kai's arsenal. When triggered, Kai will summon a bolt of pure lightning from the sky, hitting the nearest and most dangerous enemy in Kai's sight. While it lacks the ability of the Lightning Storm to move forward and strike multiple targets, its power is much, much greater than the Lightning Storm, as it could take down any target or object, no matter the size.

Requip:
Kai has taught himself how to use Requip Magic. Although, initially, it was meant specifically for his Battle Armor of the Dragon. Eventually, he found out that Requip was a great tool for travelling purposes. Thus, he uses it for storing items, as well.
Master Hand to Hand Combatant:
Masters of unarmed combat possess the greatest prowess of all, being capable of easily taking on several opponents at once with ease. Some of them are known to employ hand-to-hand combat as the main element of their fighting style, and can overwhelm foes even if they are armed or larger than the users themselves.
Master Swordsman:
Masters of such art possess impressive swordplay, demonstrating great speed, accuracy and power, and being capable of fighting several foes at the same time.
Keen Intellect:
Kai has proven to have some brains behind all of his brawn. Years of book-reading has made him educated about most, if not all things. He's able to come up with strategies and is a superb chess player.
Immense Durability:
Kai has a pretty resilient body, able to take being thrown through a wall or struck by very powerful magic, and still be left standing. Though he can, like all others, still suffer effects. Though he'd be likely to stay standing longer than others would.
Immense Strength:
Along with very high durability, Kai also has a very high amount of strength. He'd be able to life a very large boulder, or punch said boulder into tiny pebbles. He'd probably be able to life a house if the time called for it.
Enhanced Reflexes:
Kai has displayed extremely sharp reflexes and a high degree of speed and agility. Some would consider him as quick as a lightning bolt.
Immense Magic Power:
Kai possesses an immense level of Magic Power, which, befitting his Magic and theme, manifests itself in the form of electricity. This can appear from his body in various amounts, from simple sparks, when he wants to intimidate opponents or is annoyed, to a potent lightning aura around him, which damages the surrounding area, when he's enraged. In the latter state, lightning even starts to appear from his eyes and mouth.
Intimidation:
An incredibly powerful physical ability that only a rare few have the capacity to use, a technique in which powerful individuals can instill fear into their opponents by completely and utterly overwhelming their senses and bodies by exuding their true power in massive volumes, slowly crushing their will to battle and crushing their confidence to dust. Normally activated by either performing a physically imposing feat (such as displaying their strength or making frightening features) or creating realistic frightening illusions by unleashing their murderous intent and magic energy to the absolute max, which can instill fear into any weaker being and cause them to lose consciousness.
Often called the Spirit of the Supreme Ruler/Conqueror's Spirit, this skill is non-magic in nature and can only be produced by those in possession of a presence and willpower that is vastly more powerful than ordinary people. This technique is most commonly seen used by Earth Land's most powerful warriors and wizards, as they are the only ones possessing the "potential" for utilizing such an advanced technique, often seen as a badge of honor that symbolizes just how unique they are, putting them in a league of their own.
Enhanced Smell and Hearing:
Kai has a nose that can smell things from miles away. Whether it be a person, an object, or a certain type of food. His hearing is also pretty good, so it'd be easy for him to eavesdrop from a considerable distance. Although other sounds can still mix in, he can manage to focus on just one sound.
Master Pianist:
Kai learned, and mastered, his skill in playing the piano. It was something he picked up from his mother, who would teach him from an early age. He later practiced on his own for years, perfecting his proficiency with the instrument.
Survival Skills:
Kai is a traveller and an explorer at heart. And due to having traveled for so long in his life, he has developed advanced survival skills. He's the person you'd want to have with you on a deserted island.
Quick Study:
Kai is able to pick up any and all skills and master them with relative ease. All it usually takes is one showcase and he'll get the hang of it on the first try. He tends to be modest, however, so he avoids showing such things off.

╠ ʙ ᴀ ᴄ ᴋ ɢ ʀ ᴏ ᴜ ɴ ᴅ x ɪ ɴ ғ ᴏ ╣: ◆ Pᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ: Kai is the type of person who's kind, calm, polite, loyal and caring towards everyone, especially towards those he calls friends. However, towards anyone who he sees as an enemy or most of all, a threat to his loved ones, he will not hesitate to obliterate them. Fortunately, he has enough level of self-control to keep his composure, rather than go in with the intent of killing someone, no matter how much he resents that person. Kai can be analytical at times as well, able to figure things out only by few hints. He is extremely laid back most of the time, however. Kai loves travelling with his partner Rex and pretty much any of his friends. Kai is the type of guy that respects someone only if they earn his respect. He also expects vice versa from others.
◆ Bɪᴏɢʀᴀᴘʜʏ: In Drakontas, Veneficium, in a city called Arbor Town, home of thousands of Dragon Slayers of all shapes and sizes, Reina and Leon Tulvyr were one of the only non-dragon slayers living there. In fact, mrs. Tulvyr was in fact a living dragon in human form, having assimilated herself into society as she had come to love the humans and wanted to live side by side with them as a shapeshifter. Her husband, Leon, was a lightning mage, working for one of the local mage guilds, Platinum Grimoire. He had stumbled upon Reina while on a job and almost failed the mission because he was so captivated by her beauty (and he never lived it down after that.) Some odd years later, they got married and eventually they had a son: A half human/half dragon boy named Kai.
This boy fell ill not even a full week after his birth. His magic was too powerful for his tiny body to handle, causing lightning to discharge haphazardly every now and then. His father pooled together all of his savings from jobs and bought an extremely expensive Dragon Lacrima that's meant to grant Kai Lightning Dragon Slayer magic and hopefully supress the boy's chaotic magic situation. Although the plan was rash and somewhat foolish at first, it somehow did the job. With time, Kai's condition went back to normal, temporarily. Thus, he was granted the chance at a normal life for a time.
Kai grew up like any other child. He got friends to play with, attended a prestigious magic school, was taught how to harness his lightning magic by the teachers as well as the basics of Lightning Dragon Slayer magic. Kai excelled in his studies and was considered a prodigy among his peers. His mother, unhappy with their teaching method of Dragon Slayer magic, decided that Kai should be homeschooled and be taught by an actual dragon instead. For that reason, she contacted an old friend of hers: The king of lightning dragons, Arcohm. He lived in a cave outside of Arbor Town, secluded from society. Kai was only 7 when Arcohm accepted him as his student. The 2 got along marvelously and the lightning dragon king grew to love the boy as if Kai was his own grandson. While Kai was being taught Dragon Slayer magic from the distant dragon, his father homeschooled him in lightning magic. For the next 3 years, Kai would alternate between staying home with his parents and training in the cave and the surrounding area with Arcohm. Unfortunately, Kai's magic went out of control again, this time more devastating than the last. Luckily, it happened when Kai was with training with Arcohm. Thus, nobody was injured. Regardless, Arcohm acted fast and called Reina and Leon over. He told them that he'd seal the boy in a lightning sphere to contain and combat the magic that has gone out of control with his own magic. The chaotic circumstance would only subside and turn back to normal again if Kai was put in stasis for a decade as Arcohm transferred his own magic, as well as himself in order to create antibodies to the dragonification that comes with being a Dragon Slayer, over to Kai. This process would halt everything in Kai's body, even putting his aging process to a standstill, making him a 10 year old boy when it's all over, 10 years from now. The transfer will also weaken Arcohm's body, forcing him to sleep throughout the whole ordeal and the responsibility of breaking the seal at the promised date went to Leon and Reina. Knowing that they'd not be able to see their son for another decade, they bid him farewell and turned him over to the Dragon King, who immediately began the seal. Fearing that someone might find the cave and mess with the process, Leon sealed the cave shut from outside interferance.
The Tulvyr couple lived their lives as usual. Leon was still working for Platinum Grimoire, this time alongside his wife. Reina had decided to join the guild in order to work, seeing how she had no need for staying home anymore, now that her responsibilities as a parents were put on a temporary hold. Every now and then, they'd also visit the cave, making sure that no one had tried to enter the cave. To their relief, it was as if everybody had forgotten that the cave even existed. 2 years had passed and the seal was still active. The Tulvyr couple were renown for their amazing teamwork were highly sought after for the most dangerous of missions. On one such mission, they both perished, unable to fulfill the responsibility and promise of breaking the seal that contained their child. A decade turned into a century. 1 century turned into 2, 3, 4, 5... 9 centuries had passed before a stranger had forced himself inside the cave and broken the seal. This man was a fellow Lightning Dragon Slayer named Antikinis de la Zeitlos Azok. Seeing how Kai was in a feverish state when his magic went out of control, unconcious and unaware of anything that occured after he lost control of his magic, Kai had no clue of where he was or how he got there. Confused, he questions his savior, who then explains how he found the cave. Kai got alot of questions once he regained his conciousness, like: How did he get there? Where is Arcohm? Where is his parents? Who is this stranger? Unfortunately for the now 910 year old, the stranger could not answer any questions besides a self introduction. Upon leaving the cave, Kai is shocked by what he finds: The city he was born and raised in, now looking bigger and completely different from what he was used to. This leads to Antikinis revealing what year it is, making Kai realize that 900 years has passed.
After mourning his parents and Arcohm, one thing leads to another and Antikinis decides to take the boy in for training, seeing how they are both dragon slayers of the same element. A year later, Antikinis has taught Kai everything he knows, telling him that their time together has come to an end. Now, realizing that there was nothing for him in the old city he grew up in, the young mage decided to leave Veneficium altogether. After smuggling himself onto a ship sailing for Ishgar, and realizing that he's weak to vehical transportations, he found himself in Hargeon Port of Hargeon Town, Fiore. There, he worked independantly for a couple of months, as there wasn't any local mage guilds that would take him in, until he earned enough take the train to the closest city, Magnolia.
Kai was 13 years old when he managed to join Fairy Tail. It wasn't unusual for kids to join. In fact, Fairy Tail was known for taking in mages from a very young age. Still, Kai had no reason to complain, as his acceptance into the well-renowned guild came as a shock to him. For the next decade, the young mage worked diligently and trained hard, taking on job after job. He found an exceed egg when he was 15, became an S-rank at the age of 19 and because the previous Guild Master was stepping down for unknown reasons, seeing how the Dragon Slayer was a senior member of the guild, Kai, at the age of 23, became the next Guild Master of Fairy Tail.
