◎◎ Main Magic: Take Over: Beast Soul ◎◎
◎ Take Over allows the user to, essentially, "take over" the power (or the body, in the case of a Vulcan) of an entity and use it to fight. It can increase the power, strength, and speed of the Caster, sometimes adding a new skill, such as flying, or swimming. While not much is known about Take Over, it has been proven that it is extremely powerful, with multiple high-class mages knowing the magic and utilizing it in order to make a name for themselves. It allows the user to record and seal a monster's body part they have touched into their body, gaining the ability to subsequently transform their body into that of the creature; transformations seem to take place by tearing the user's clothes off and covering parts of their body or their whole body with many flames, which subsequently disappear, revealing the summoned part or transformation. However, it can only draw out the power of beings that the user truly knows.
This particular form of Take Over allows the user to transform all or parts of their body into that of various monsters, gaining the enhanced attributes and abilities of that form such as increased strength, speed or durability. A number of these 'beast forms' can be used by a single Mage, being 'recorded' by encountering the different beasts and taking them over. It is said that the user actually defeated the beasts before "recording" their form.
BASIC SPELLS » Beast Arm: Reptile The user transforms their arm into that of a reptile-looking beast's arm. It has enough power to send several people flying and to successfully grab Iron Dragon's Club from a close range.
» Beast Arm: Iron Bull The user transforms their arm into a large metal fist, thereby increasing their punching power.
» Beast Arm: Diamond Bull A bull arm that appears to be transparent and crystalline. It's more of a defensive arm that is as hard as diamond and capable of deflecting magic attacks.
» Beast Arm: Scorching Golem Like a meteor, this arm is rock like with deep cracks covering it. The deep cracks expose what appears to be lava which make it scalding hot to the touch.
» Beast Arm: Crabhammer A large arm cover in spikes and is particularly sturdy against blunt force. Aside from being bright red in color, it flaunts a rather large crab claw in place of a hand. Not to be taken lightly, the pincer is remarkably sharp and strong enough to tear through stone and even steel with enough force. Unfortunately, it is rather slow and lacks reliable maneuverability.
ADVANCED SPELLS » Beast Soul: Hellhound An incomplete full Take Over, but more powerful than a partial transformation. Features that have been attributed to hellhounds include black fur, scales and glowing red or sometimes yellow eyes. The user gains the abilities of a Hellhound: enhanced condition, enhanced senses, fire manipulation, super strength and speed.
» Beast Soul: Mershark Takes the appearance of a half shark, half mermaid. It's sandpaper like skin make it hard to physically injure without damaging oneself. As with any other shark, it's teeth are razor sharp and their powerful jaws allow them to bite through steel chains or even the hull of ships. Its strength is to be feared; however, it can only thrive and move effectively in water.
◎◎ Sub Magic: Earth Magic ◎◎
◎ The caster makes use of the earth around them for combat, giving the user a great deal of flexibility when using their Magic. Skilled users can manipulate the physical properties of earth, such as making sand as hard as metal, creating iron-hard rock pillars from the ground, or even bending the ground at will and turning it into a liquid form. Earth Magic also enables the user to literally dive into the ground (be it rock, concrete, or metal), using their hands or feet, and tunnel through it.
Like other elemental Magics, some users can also transform their bodies into earth and travel through solid obstacles and the ground itself.
BASIC SPELLS » Iron Rock Wall The user manipulates the earth to form a wall, blocking incoming attacks. The wall comes in a variety of forms, ranging from simple pillars to traditional walls.
» Iron Rock Fist The user sculpts a gigantic fist from the ground that can be used to attack the opponent. The path of the fist can be maneuvered by the user's command, making it possible for the user to follow the opponent's movements.
» Iron Rock Spikes The user creates a number of earth spikes which erupt out of the ground and immobilize their opponent.
» Rock Avalanche While standing near a rocky surface, the user extends one hand towards the target, the index and middle fingers outstretched, and the others bent. This prompts the nearby surface to be split into boulders of various sizes, which are lifted into the air and sent flying at the target with a great amount of force and cause a huge blast.
» Talus The user surrounds themselves with several rock pillars, protecting them from incoming attacks.
ADVANCED SPELLS » Rock Mountain The user claps their hands together to manipulate the earth around them to create a rock mountain that can be used to block incoming attacks. This mountain is intricately designed, sculpted into what seems to be a giant warrior wearing an armor with spikes going upwards.
» Supreme King Rock Crush The user uses the rocks around them to surround the enemy and crush them with multiple sized stones. In the anime, this spell was shown in two phases. The first phase involves surrounding the enemy with stones, which binds them. The second phase crushes all stones which surrounds the enemy.
» Rumbling Mt. Fuji The user presses both hands together and summons an enormous amount of Magic Power that overwhelms the target in a beam that comes out of the ground and destroys the surrounding landscape. This spell managed to score 8544 points in the Magic Power Finder.
◎◎ Ultimate Magic Attacks ◎◎ » Beast Soul: The Chimera The user transforms into The Chimera, a magic-breathing, ferocious mythological hybrid composed of the parts of three animals — a lion, a snake and a goat. As such it has the abilities of all three animals: the strength and power of a lion, the nimble and speed of a serpent and the grace and dexterity of a goat. This beast is so powerful and durable, it can crash through several buildings without flinching and without a single injury. With sense that can rival a dragons, it is often thought that this monster may also be of dragon kin. While it cannot ingest magic, it can ingest nature and infuse it with its magic roar.
» Grand Revival: Gaia's Will The caster makes use of both hands to releases a very powerful beam composed of tectonic energy and dense minerals. This beam possesses incredible concussive force as well as small fragments of rock, which are capable of heavily damaging the opponent's body.

╠ ʙ ᴀ ᴄ ᴋ ɢ ʀ ᴏ ᴜ ɴ ᴅ x ɪ ɴ ғ ᴏ ╣: ◆ Pᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ: Elfrieda is a very loud and energetic young woman who spends most of her time running from one place to the next. Never one to stay in one place for too long, she is constantly on the lookout for her next adventure. She loves to have fun, especially with friends and isn’t too concerned about danger. The mage prefers to hang out with friends, whether it be on a quest or just sitting around in a bar. You’ll find that she’s very easy to get along with and doesn’t necessarily care if they are an enemy or not. If she likes you, it doesn’t matter if you’ve done horrible things in the past. Elle also takes care of her friends, dropping whatever she’s doing to help out if she can. The same could be said of strangers or acquaintances as she generally dislikes seeing others suffer. So should someone make them cry, you can bet she’ll be the first to throw fist. She may not be quick to anger but she has quite the temper when it flares up. Unlike her parents, the girl can be quite violent when angry and takes a while for her to cool down. Elfrieda would say she’s just very expressive, which is true to an extent, as she often says what’s on her mind instead of bottling it up. She wears her heart on her sleeve for any to see because she hates hiding her emotions and those who do so. Most of her actions and choices are dictated by her heart and what she feels. If she feels it’s the right thing to do or just need to to make a wild guess, it’s left to her natural instincts.
As the grandchild of Elfman, Elfrieda can be quite enthusiastic at times for no real reason at all. She often comes up with things to do on the fly, like playing a game or having a friendly competition. And like her grandfather, she has a tendency to say or refer to things being “Man”. It’s not for the same reasons as him, rather it’s a verbal tic that she can’t shake. It also causes her to well up with confidence since it makes her think of her old man. Whenever she’s in a jam, one might overhear her chanting to herself to get her spirits up. She makes the best her situation with what she has on hand and can easily conform to new settings. Elle doesn’t like troubling others and will usually try to tackle her own problems if she can.
◆ Bɪᴏɢʀᴀᴘʜʏ: Elfrieda Strauss was born a wild child; a bundle of energy that could never sit still. She was quite the handful for her parents, but somehow they managed. Most of her time was spent outside, where she would climb the trees and play with the animals. Imitating beast was also one of her favorite things to do, much to her mother's annoyance. She didn't really get along with her mother, she trying to make her act like a proper lady with manners. But Elfrieda found it too much of a hassle and preferred to just be herself. This was likely the reason she and her dad got along so well. Even when hanging out in the guild, the girl usually stuck by her old man who even took her on missions from time to time. Like her father and his father before him, she also learned Take Over: Beast Soul, as it was something of a family tradition. It wasn't long before Elfrieda became an official member of Fairy Tail, doing small missions around town by herself. It wasn't until her grandfather passed that she became obsessed with power. She heard about all of his amazing feats and felt the pressure to live up to the name that he left her.
This lead Elfrieda to pursue the mythical Hellhound; a dangerous creature for even an S-Rank Mage. Barely a C-Rank at the time, she was determined to perform a Take Over and impress everyone. That didn't happen. She was nearly mauled to death in her encounter with the monster. The only reason she wasn't immediately killed was due to the canine choosing to treat her limp body like a toy. Fortunately, her father found her before it was too late, fending off the beast enough to snatch her away. Elfrieda awoke in the guild, being scolded by her father for her reckless behavior and her mother's tears. It was a miracle that she survived with the injuries that riddled her body. While she was being nursed back to health, she was reminded by her friends and family what was most important and how to honor her grandfather's name. Her father apologized to her for putting so much pressure on her and urged her to life her life how she wanted, So, Elfrieda opted to leave the guild set off on her own at the young age of 15. She continued to work on her magic, promising to herself and her loved ones that she'd never risk her own safety in doing so again. In time, Elfi found herself at Mermaid Heel, wanting to start fresh. For the past two years, this guild has been her home where she's made several new friends.
On one outing in the forest for training, she had an encounter with a large and masculine man. She was quickly enamored by his feats of strength in his own training, that she had to challenge him to a match! Afterwards, they exchanged names, learning he went by Urago Magnejuss. She invited him over for meal where they also exchanged stories: learning he was a pupil of the legendary Mangis! Mangis was her all time idol, next to her pops of course. To have a rival in one of his students, she wouldn't pass it up! Before he left, Elfrieda swore she would become even stronger and to become his greatest rival!
