The History and Legacy


Elzo and Marlo Xanis have been brothers since before their birth. As Castor and Pollux, they acted as each other foil and also their support. The War Maker of Frost would use his tactics and ruthlessness to conquer. The War Bringer of Hail would use his power and affluence to bring others to heel. Together they forged an empire in the stars and held a bond not of blood but of souls and strength.

That was then, this is now.

Raised by the man named Giovanni Xanis, they thought themselves true brothers only for them to come of age and the deception laid bare. Elzo was the man's true son, and Marlo, the b*****d of Gregory, Giovanni's twin. Half-brothers and cousins. Elzo had been the favored and loved, Marlo the scorned and forgotten. Giovanni had raised them in cruelty and obsession, aiming to mold Elzo to be the perfect successor to inherent the family business, only for the boy become man to take his fortune and bestow it upon the one person his father hated the most: Marlo. Marlo, who fell in love to the girl-woman Giovanni wanted. Marlo, who found happiness and wealth after Giovanni had denied him everything. Marlo, who had survived a monster's hate and scorn, and become stronger for it.

That was years ago, and now Marlo runs the family hotel empire, Elzo his second. Yet their shared mother Maria lies on her death bed, her life of alcoholism caught up to her, leaving Giovanni no longer bound to Italy away from the brothers and unable to inflict his cruelties and revenge.
Years before Giovanni had taken Szelem Montgomery as a lover, the closest he could have to the youth his brother's b*****d Marlo has stolen from him, siring on her the twins Giulia and Aidan, Jada's half siblings. The woman had denied him as their father, and left them with their eldest half sister Jada upon her untimely death. A fact Giovanni never forgave, nor forgot. Now, without Maria his dying wife to hold him back, he's put a years long plan into motion, reveling how he stolen Jada and Marlo's daughter Hope from the hospital hours after her birth, raising her as his own. A bartering chip. The key to gain Jada as his new wife, and to crush Marlo's heart and happiness.

Giovanni is a man who is ruthless, cruel, possessive, and vindictive. He has wanted and was denied and now he's come to collect his revenge.
On Elzo, the perfect son that forsook him for his brother.
On Marlo, the b*****d he was forced to raise and who stole from him his son's love and his company.
On Jada, who refused him and his affections.

On Castor, the royal senshi he has been forced to serve as the Knight Lacedaemon, the ██████████.

The Prince Must Die: The Plot

As Giovanni now heads to Destiny City, he has a few goals and objectives he seeks to complete. All for himself, naturally.

• Use Hope to get Jada to be his wife
  
• Ruin Marlo and hopefully drive him to suicide or at least emotionally cripple the boy more than he already is.
  
• Ruin whatever relationship Elzo has and possible what happiness he has gained.
  
• Work with this nation's general kings and queens to maintain his good faith and standing with the negaverse on this side of the Atlantic.
  
• Kill the Prince Castor and obtain greater power.
  

Not in any particular order; but as he's been informed that Castor has apparently taken a residence in Destiny City, Lacedaemon is determined to finally rid himself of his self seen subjugation under the fool prince, and if possible usurp the royal's power for his own. It would be a true offering to Metallica and would cover his actions for ages to come.

This leads us to what you have been waiting for: Your Role


This plot is centered around three aspects. Lacedaemon's deception, Lacedaemon's betrayal, and Lacedaemon's Legacy. Each aspect can be participated in and offers a unique opportunity to corrupt your order character, (or just have them ******** terrified and manipulated to almost corrupt or risk death). You know, all that good angst and dark jazz.


Lacedaemon's Deception:
Lacedaemon will arrive in Destiny as fully fledged s3 Knight NPC, (meaning I can RP him but I get 0 points or benes). He will act cordial and kind to any order character or dark senshi he meets, and be openly hostile to any negaverse character lieutenant or captain ranked. However, Generals, (with prior permission), can be Lacedaemon's contacts to who he reports his findings on his fellow characters or interact with and gain an ally.
If you are an order character or a dark senshi, you can offer up any information you want to be relieved to the negaverse, (if any). Lacedaemon as a character is at the end of the day, not a man who plays all the cards he has, and will withhold information if needed. (AKA, if IC you don't want certain info going out, it wont).

This is the aspect of the plot that can be used to help progress a character to corruption forceful, attempted, or willing.
This is also how his personal item comes into use.
He typically uses it to obtain a vow such as that his companion with vow to aid Lacedaemon. Or, perhaps, to uncover some bit of knowledge. the vows can be exact or vague, but Lacedaemon won't say the results of a broken vow unless asked or once the vow has been made.
The breaking of the vow itself is not an unconscious act, but a conscientious one. If you vow not to lie, but accidentally say 'I ate lunch' when in fact all you ate was a burger at 7pm, that's not a conscientious breaking of the vow. Saying 'I ate a burger for lunch' to deceive or to lie on purpose- that is conscientious and would result in the vow being broken and you dying. Basically, the personal item acts only when actions taken go directly against the vow, and are done so willingly and knowingly.

Terrorize you characters kids. Thisi s what this b*****d is here for.


Lacedaemon's Betrayal:
The grand act- Eventually in the course of this plot, Lacedaemon will discover that he is Castor's father, both in a past life, and in a very literal sense. He will discover that Elzo is Castor, and use it to plan his greatest feat: Offering the royal prince as sacrifice to Metallica in exchange for power. If I get offers for others to be 'sacrificed' or have the civilian IDs compromised or have a character corrupted, this RP will be where it happen. This will be the boss fight. Lacedaemon versus the world. This is where Giovanni will see what his plans have wroght, and the fruit it has born.

This will be where Lacedaemon, and possibly Castor, die.


Lacedaemon's Legacy:

This is the personal plot side of this whole self character development venture. I'm up for Giovanni just being a d**k, sleaze, a*****e, man of questionable morals, or whatever. It's also the side of the plot that revolves much around the ongoing plot I have with Infinities with Hope, Jada and Marlo's daughter. The family and their close friends would be privy to the complexities and soon to be extent of cruelties that Giovanni has inflicted, and get a chance to get a slice of that good ol angst. If you want a monster? Hit me the ******** up,be cause Giovanni has pretty much 0 redeeming features.

hello, my name is biki and i am going to put the kettle on and dive into this.

Yvaine if suffering from some p bad memory issues at the moment and is in a prime place to be manipulated and deceived. She also has no idea about Gio so can quite quickly be pulled into this without realising.

I mean if he wants to hurt Elzo and at the same time try and get some information about the twins or Jada, well she is working for her now. So I think what I am saying here is that I am up for anything and everything you want to do.

But I can not even begin to describe how upset she is going to be that she can not attend this boss battle | : sdfkasgsdG

anakeion/amaris is both a castor squire and a pretty young lady who hangs around elzo, so double the availability? altho she will take absolutely No s**t as a squire and will 100% call him out as a creep if he does anything sleazy - but she could easily be goaded into making an oath if her life was in danger or the life of a child was threatened. likes to go big and then back out when things get too big to handle.

juliet/lily could be optimistically described as 'extremely pliable and obedient' - or you could call her 'absent-minded, with an absent sense of morality, and absolutely no will of her own' if you want to be more precise. she'd probably be an easy thrall lmao. other people know best, don't they? and he's so much older than she is - even if she had any ideas in the first place, they'd be nonsense by comparison

chrysocolla would absolutely 100% not trust this guy but at the end of the day she is available to be Uncomfortabled at
