Slayer Eating Competition! Food Type: Coconut Cake with this lovely face on the front! Rules!1.) Fighting is allowed, but there can be NO injuries to the other competitors. 2.) Any Slayer can compete! 3.) 1st, 2nd, and 3rd end up on the cover of SM (Sorcerer Monthly) 4.) Stealing other people's food it allowed, just don't get caught! 5.) Have fun and RP away! Pose alone or with other people! Double teaming could possibly boost votes! Please only vote if you have already posted in the event. You can't be eating if you're not there!

  Guild- Fairy Tail | Magic- Water Dragon Slayer | Rank- A-rank | Jewel- 100,000 ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾ "Phew! That was a tough one!" Kaya huffed as she exited the swimsuit competition area. "But you did great!" Kokuei applauded his friend, coming over and hovering next to her. "You got 3rd place!" "Yeah," She nodded, though not that enthusiastically. "First woulda been better but, hey, it's jewel! And Rosa was fun to pose with." The little dark-haired Exceed bobbed his head in agreement as the duo plodded along. "What do ya wanna do now?" A smile ghosted across the Slayer's lips, slowly growing into a full grown grin. "That!" She stopped and pointed ahead and slightly to the right. A sign read "Slayer Eating Competition." Kokuei rolled his eyes. "Why am I not surprised?"
With a chuckle, Kaya raced off in the direction of the sign. Kokuei was hot on her heels. They crossed the distance in no time and, within moments, she was registered for the second competition of the day. Not many other Slayers had shown up yet it seemed. "Oi I want to start nowwww." She drew out the last word, eyeing the delicious looking coconut cake hungrily. "You have to wait until they say go or you'll be disqualified." Her Exceed friend reminded her with a tap to the shoulder. "I know I know. I just want to get goin'!" The food smelled wonderful! Her mouth was already watering, and she had to swallow to keep from drooling everywhere. "Just a few more minutes." Kokuei noted the time. The sign said that the competition would start in ten minutes. That had been seven minutes ago. If no one else showed up, then Kaya would win by default but that wouldn't necessarily stop her from eating the cake...or cakes.
As the clock ticked, Kaya waited impatiently to get to chowing down. However, as time was almost up, she smelled a familiar and comforting scent. "Oi, Rin-nii!" She beamed at the blue-haired male who approached the eating area. His smile matched her own, though there was a hint of a challenge in it. "You entering too, eh?" Her ice blue orbs gleamed with mischievous delight. "Bring it on!" The two barely had a chance to say anything to one another before a shot was fired to signal the start of the competition. Kaya immediately dug into the cake, gaze still locked with Rin's in an unspoken challenge to her adoptive older brother. ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾

"Geez, I didn't think the train would take that long." Rin Dragneel-Fullbuster grumbled to himself. He planned on arriving at the festival over an hour ago. Yet the train from the town he had been in was running behind. He could've found an alternative but he thought that maybe the train would make up for time somewhere along the way. The blue-haired male was sorely mistaken, however. "I'm not gonna make that mistake again." The blue-haired male sighed as he finally entered the festival grounds.
A multitude of sensations hit him. The sights, the sounds, the smells, it filled his senses to the brim, instantly wiping away any dour thoughts left over from the train fiasco. His ears perked up. His mouth quickly turning from a frown to a giddy smile. If he had a tail, it would be wagging most likely. "Ah! Oh! What's this?! What's that?!" He flew from booth to booth. A blur of child-like wonderment. Rin was moving from a food cart to a gaming booth when a particular sign caught his eye. "Slayer Eating Competition, eh?" He grinned. "That sounds like fun!" Without missing a beat, he altered his course, beelining for the area.
As he drew closer, the sun gleamed off the hair of a young female whom stood at the eating table. It figures. His smile grew even wider. There was no mistaking that ravens-purple/blue hair or those ice blue eyes. Rin's adoptive sister had also been drawn to the eating competition. He knew she would be here, and was happy to find her so soon. "What's up half-pint?" The Ice Devil Slayer waved in greeting. "Guess I get to take you down in the competition today, huh?" Vibrant blue orbs glistened in challenge. The two often traded barbs like that back and forth. All part of their sibling rivalry.
"I'm not gonna go easy on ya." Rin tossed over his shoulder, taking up his position on her left side. The signal to start rang out over the crowd seconds later. They were off in a flash, digging into the cakes with gusto. Who would win, nobody could tell. It was anyone's competition, but Rin wasn't about to be beaten by his sister. And, if he had to guess, she was thinking the same of him. ㊋ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ㊋
