While there was judgment being sent over the court room. Annette spent her time practicing her lessons. There were still some old grudge against the courtyard she had yet to move on from. And as such decided to keep her time occupied with her vampiric lessons, both from mom and the former order, these last onces in secrecy.

Keeping with Grandmother's lessons, Annette would bring herself to halt just as soon as she heard some voice at the distance.
Given she was completely into her magic powers her ear was temporally deteriorated, making even Emilia's voice unfamiliar to Annette.
The pale skinned princess would gently turn over her shoulder as she was giving her back on whomever was approaching and would soon display a gentle smile from her soft lips. Her magic slowly fading away while the rest of her body followed to face on the Royal knights direction.
Both hands together and resting against her body in such lady like manner, the princess would lightly tilt her head to the side as she greeted Emilia who was still approaching.
"Ah, lady kaiser. What brings you here this lovely evening?"
Emillia would explain the situation developing so far on the court room to which Annette's soft smile faded but just lightly.
"It cannot be helped. I'm not a big fan of trials myself but they are a necessary process within our law system. Albeit if I may say, still lacks proper management. They could be quite tedious without reaching a proper verdict"
The princess explained while observing on the court room's direction before laying her gaze back on to her lovely royal guard. Whom was curious about Annette's current activities.
"I'm only allowed to leave the trials at the courtroom when I practice my royal lessons. Most likely dear Mother's instructions about power and magic management. You could call it fencing for magic."
Explained the princess trying to get it into terms that were familiar for Emilia such as fencing and sword play. While fighting the inner urges to embrace her royal knight, she looked so adorable. But even so the princess had a public image to protect and regardless if they appeared to be alone in the courtyard, she knew better, there were always eyes and ears everywhere.

Emilia was such an enigma, first she wondered what she was doing, then cared not for details as such.
"And here I thought you were bored, so I thought about explaining a few things, Lady Kaiser."
She smiled softly, but she enjoyed teasing her poor Royal knight. While there was no doubt that Emilia was a fighting spirit, with the course of time Annette became aware of how she hated to be portrayed as someone lady like, adorable or extremely feminine. Pretty much anything that could potentially diminish her status as a proud duelist.
"As a matter of fact they do, but I'm not forced to follow such as power and magic management hold priority over fencing... plus. I thought you told me you'll be my sword and shield?"
She was quick to fluster and look away ashamed.
"Unless of course, there's another princess in your life you swore to protect... in which case I would not hold you back Lady Kaiser."

Just as soon as she gave her back away, Annette would smile, covering her lips with her right hand. Giggling as she observed Emilia's adorable reaction. Comforting her offended duelist with a tender hug from behind. Squeezing her royal guard.
"There there Emilia, I'll believe you. But if I find out you know other princesses you'll be responsible for war declaration between other kingdoms"
The princesses warned, obviously joking about the matter.
"Well, now that we had an interesting moment is there anything else I could help my royal guard in duty?"

"Oh I bet you would like things to get physical..."
Said the princess with a cheerful yet mischievous smirk as she enjoyed the pause. Before proceeding.
"Should they be magical, I would of course get the upper hand. Still must you insist on having me learn the way of the sword? How long has it been?"
It was around 300-400 years since the first time she was asked to learn from Emilia but Annette continued to be elusive to this.
"But if that would make you happy then fine. Would you mind getting me a sword?"
She giggled as she observed Emilia had ceased to bring the extra sword.
"Unless of course one of us is going to play the practice dummy."

Just holding onto cherry blossoms hilt and pulling it from a few seconds was enough for Annette to leave the weapon as it was and crossing her arms.
"This is not going to work, You can't expect me to keep my balance with something this heavy."
while she knew she could be able to lift it, moving around with Cherry blossom would be no different from her carrying a b*****d sword or a two handed cleaver. The weight was too much for her to handle given it was a Nodatchi made for vampires, meaning the weight did carried a deciding factor, if it was a simple and human dedicated nodatchi, she would be able to wield it with ease, even with a single hand.

Picking up the first rapier, the difference was astronomical as the rapier's weight was almost non existent compared to the nodatchi.
"well it certainly feels a lot better than cherry blossom, no offense."
Annette kept swinging and sweeping the blade around for a test, no retaliation, easy access and motion.
"It's lovely, but I must remind you I'm no big fan of physical confrontation."
Said Annette, once more expressing her dislike for sword play or any kind of fight despite her willingness to be taught by Emilia.
