Local police have been patiently awaiting the arrival of the wizards that responded to their request for help in putting a stop to the illegal activity occurring in the abandoned dragon lacrima mines. Standing to attention, they greet the four Fairy Tail members with relief on their faces. Glad to have a notoriously powerful guild on their side, despite the rumours of destructive behaviour. The sheriff informs them of the situation in more detail than the poster provided, "This mine was closed down years ago after the Worldwide Magical Council made it illegal to harvest dragon lacrima due to the risk of it being used for unethical means. They've been abandoned and locked down for years but recently the barricade was removed from the entrance and activity has been seen in the tunnels. We've spotted people moving in and out with tools and sacks full of what we can online assume is dragon lacrima. This stuff goes for a lot on the black market and can disturbingly be used in experimentation - the very reason for which it was banned. We'd like to put a stop to it before it goes any further but no one on our police force uses magic and we're worried that if any of these people, even if it's only one, happens to use magic, we'd be at an instant disadvantage. That's why we requested help from a guild. I'm sure you're all strong and capable young wizards and I feel confident as a team you'd be much more effective than a non-magic police force would be," he said, finishing his short briefing of the mission and taking a breath before continuing, "We can give you all the help and back-up you need and we would like you to give us regular updates on your findings. Also, if you can, please try to bring in the culprits fairly unharmed. I'm aware that Fairy Tail has a strong sense of justice, but the law must take them for this to be a successful mission. Do you have any questions?" he asked.OOC: Ok guys, as well as an exciting new job, this is a test for using the new battle system. An example battle will be posted on the battle rules before your fight begins for you to have a skim over to understand the basics in action.
You must first observe your targets and form a plan before eventually facing your opponents who will be 1 A-class and 3 B-class wizards. I will be matching people to their opponents during roleplay. This job only requires a posting order outside of battle. Once a fight begins between yourself and an opponent, it's a one-on-one unless you move on to help someone else after defeating your own opponent.

Misaka had booked ahead on the train, getting the four wizards a room at the Tintic Goldminers Inn before messaging Lyra the location. Misaka listened to what the officers all had to say and thought about the information for a moment, " There are a few questions I have," she replied, " How long ago did this start? How many people exactly have been spotted going in and out of the mines? Do you have descriptions of any of them? And lastly, have any of them actually been seen using magic or is it only a potential worry?" she asked, bombarding the officers with everything she could think of. Anything she had left out, she was sure the others would ask about. Upon the request of not carrying out their own form of harsh justice, Misaka laughed sheepishly, " Yeah, um, don't worry, we'll try our best not to beat them too hard," she said, " Just leave it to us, we'll get these criminals for you, no problem!" ╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝OOC:

It was unknown that the perpetrators used magic or not. Perhaps they used magic tools? Something streaked across his mind, 'How is it they knew where to dig for the lacrima?' he asked himself. 'An inside job?' he wondered. His thoughts were interrupted by Misaka's train of questions. All were valid. "Are there security cameras on site?" he added his own question in to the barrage of Misaka's question. "Even if we don't get a clear description of the persons involved, we can track their movements. Also, I can track them in my Orion form," he looked to his fellow Fairy Tail wizards.

Fairy Tail She listened carefully to the sherif as he explained what was going on. She didn't want to miss any important details, since this was her first real job. She listened carefully to Misaka when she asked her questions. She felt as though Misaka was her mentor, and she kind of look up to her. Jorel asked some good questions as well, and she felt as though there were no questions left to ask. She waited for Misaka to let her know what they were going to do next and what their plan was.

  With the text that rung on her phone and the details explained out where to meet, the exceed would be seen flying in the sky and holding Miuna tightly in his paws as he clutched them around her waist, gliding against the winds currents and seeming to have trouble getting her all the way there as he struggled to lift her. She did not want to go through that cab again or get a train, it was no fun being sick. She had hoped Cocoa was okay with going through this, it was the fastest and best option to follow. He had known not to state that she was too fat to carry and ask if she had put on any weight, there would be no getting out of the glaring looks she'd give him which always made him nervous.
Finally finding the group they were to meet up with, Cocoa would lower to the ground and flapped his wings backwards, carefully lowering his friend to the ground as her feet would soon plop onto the gravel as she would run off to meet with the group and leave poor Cocoa trying to catch his breathe while he would try catching up too. "I'm so sorry for being late!" Miuna would apologize as there was an important job to take care of, and there was certainly no excuse for her holding up them from getting it done. She would quickly trot over to the group of her guild friends, before revealing where she had been. "I went to go change my name, I hope that's not a problem! You can all call me Miuna now if you like." The celestial slayer would smile, before watching as everyone was all into asking the police the questions they'd need. She had missed probably most of what was said, but she had hoped one of her guild buddies could help catch her up. "So uh, what'd I miss?" She would smile awkwardly, hoping she didn't interrupt or come at a bad time or just come too late or something. She absolutely hated holding others up! Cocoa was just now catching up too as he walked slowly, completely out of breathe. He'd crawl onto Miuna's shoulder, falling over exhausted. "That's it, I'm done for the day." He'd complain, not moving from where he fell over on the girl.

The officers thought for a moment, "I suppose when we put the request in it had happened twice within the space of ten days," the sheriff replied, "It's happened once more since we put in the request so that's three occurrences in two weeks," he added, "When they were first spotted by the people who initially brought it to our attention, they allegedly saw five people hanging around the exterior of the mine but they didn't stay long enough to see if more energed from inside the mine or joined them outside. I've put the details of those witnesses in this file," he said, handing a small folder to Misaka. Turning to Jorel, the sheriff shook his head, "I'm afraid not. The mines haven't been used in so long that we never felt the need to have CCTV set up in the area," he sighed, "As far as we know, these people come back at least once a week to take more lacrima. They tend to do it all different times of day. I'm assuming they don't want to be consistent so they're not as easily caught," he frowned, "They're not silly, these criminals. Though, as I said, there are witnesses who gave vague descriptions. The couple live here in Eureka and I'm sure they'll be more than happy to cooperate with you should you wish to ask more questions should you not find our information satisfactory."

Would it be rude to ask? " Miuna? That's so pretty. Why did you change it though?" she asked. Misaka hummed thoughtfully as she flicked through the pages of the file. The information was most definitely not satisfactory but she felt mean saying it to their faces, " This... well... I guess it will do for now but I think we'll try and gather some more info," she said, trying to sound as polite as possible, " I wonder what they could want with so much dragon lacrima," she thought aloud. Though she didn't know the answer, perhaps someone else had a theory. She knew rumours of experiments being done on people to create artificial slayers but surely they shouldn't need such an excessive amount of it. Before any of these questions were answered, the four wizards needed to get every piece of information they could from eye witnesses and survey the area for themselves before figuring out a plan of action.bthe four wizards would definitely have their work cut out for them, " I think maybe we should head to the hotel and go through this file, what do you reckon?" she asked her group. ╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝OOC:Sorry for double quote! 'Why the name change?' he wondered to himself. He waved to her, then returned to the Police briefing. He groaned after what he saw over Misaka's shoulder. The file was lacking pertinent information. The lack of security cameras was none too pleasing either. He rubbed his temples out of frustration. This is why he didn't like to rely on others. Many times they fall short. If he failed, he'd rather it be because of something he did than because of someone else's bumbling. He gave a sigh at a group meeting to discuss the lack of information in the file. He'd rather go off on his own and gather information that way using Orion. He was sure to get something done. "Yeah... sure.... fine... Let's go," he said as he adjusted the strap to his duffle and would head for the Station's exit.

Fairy Tail "I'm a product of a dragon lacrima experiment." Lumi said very quietly. "The dark guild that stole me made me in the hopes of conquering other dark guild easier, since the dragon slayers are very powerful. Even though the lacrima dragon slayers are not as powerful as the original slayers, we still fit what they wanted." She looked to the ground. "I can only think that they want to make an army or something in order to take over a larger group of people, but that's just based off of what I know." She backed up slightly. "If they do anything that they did to me to other people, we have to help them." she said even quieter, moreso to herself. "But we should go and ask anyone in the area of the activity of the thieves and if they have any descriptions." She said, louder this time, "and look through the file more in depth, as you said, Misaka." She hoped that they wouldn't ask her about her lacrima experience. Lumina UgamiThe link is fixed smile

Miuna had turned her focus over to Misaka who had questioned the whole changing her name phase she had just came back from. "No reason really, I just kinda got bored of Lyra. It sounds weird to me. But thank you though! I thought the name had a nicer ring to it." She would state truthfully, having no real good reason of changing other than not liking it. She would smile so happy though when Misaka had said it was a pretty name. The cops were giving little bits of information, you think they could at least have provided a bit more to work from. "That's even more work to figure out, wah." She'd complain out loud, even though everyone else seemed to be figuring out everything on there own and doing the work while she kinda of just stood around and waited. She had no clue about lacrima's, or what they they were used for and how they worked. She just kind of followed everyone else. The group seemed so focused on figuring out where to start looking, but that was only to be expected on a job.
If Miuna were on one alone, she'd just mess around because she always wanted to have at least a little fun in doing it. She couldn't do that in a group though, not with everyone watching her. Sighing, she'd watch everyone trying to decipher what little information they were given. Lumina had stated how she had known about the dragon lacrima, wondering to herself how she had known so much about that. Whatever it was, it seemed to be upsetting her and she certainly didn't want her to worry further about it, so she chose not to ask the girl. Jorel had agreed to head to the hotel and look, as Misaka had suggested they looked there first. "Yay, I'm down with that plan!" Miuna would bounce happily, as she absolutely loved hotels! They always had the nicest scents, and the comfiest beds and furniture! What could be better? She knew it was meant for business purposes,
but she would simply ignore that and enjoy it anyways! At the very least, she could enjoy and work all at the same time!

Thoughts: "Lumina is second generation?!"╚════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝╔══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╗Misaka tilted her head in confusion for a moment at Jorel's less than impressed tone of voice, " Way to sound enthusiastic, Jorel, what's got your panties in a twist all of a sudden? Worried that you won't be able to handle a week with a bunch of girls?" she asked with a teasing tone and wide grin. Misaka's interest sky-rocketed when Lumina mentioned experimentation and how she herself was a product of such an operation, " So you're actually a second generation dragon slayer?" she asked, stunned. Of course, only a dark guild would put an innocent girl through what the lightning wizard could only assume was a painful and torturous process. However, this information could prove valuable, " An army?" she echoed Lumina's statement, " I guess with that much lacrima you probably could create an army but that brings up so many more questions," she muttered to herself, " Yeah, let's get going," she nodded, heading towards the hotel behind Jorel. As she walked, Misaka looped her arm around Lumina, " I hope you don't mind me asking, and you don't have to say yes, but would it be possible to pick your brains about the dragon lacrima you... encountered? I think it might help just in case your theory is right. It might give us an idea of how much time we have before this thing blows out of proportion. I know we're only supposed to retrieve the lacrima and catch the culprits for this job, and that's what we'll do, but I'd quite like to do some further digging afterwards." ╚══════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════════╝OOC:

"Nah, that's not it," he hesitated in saying what was really on his mind, but he figured he would. "I'm just unimpressed about what the Police had to offer as far as information is concerned," he shook his head once more thinking back on their briefing. "Also, one would think that whoever owns the mine would have some sort of security cameras on the place since precious lacrima are there. They made it too easy for people to go in a steal," his frustration was in his voice. "Now we have to meet and talk about nothing," he shook his head. "To be honest, I hate meetings. And you know I don't do group missions. I'm just use to doing things my way," he vented. "I honestly have a better plan than just meeting," he said in a more hushed tone, almost grumbling.

Fairy Tail She slowed and stared wide-eyed at Misaka. She knew that Misaka wanted to know to help with the job, but it still surprised her. "S-sure." she stammered in response. "I can... talk more about it. If you really want." her voice went quieter with every word. She had only ever told one person about what had happened to her. She shuddered as the memories of that dark time came flooding back. She felt her fingers become frozen, and she clenched her hands, trying to bring the warmth back into them. She spoke in a quiet tone. "I was their guinea pig. They experimented on me, trying to make the lacrima work, since it didn't right away. If this guild got its hands on the notes from the guild that took me, then they'd know how to activate the lacrima. I sure hope they didn't find them though." Lumina Ugami

Miuna would stare as everyone spoke back and forth, blinking into pure confusion. Misaka would ask Lumina about her past knowledge about dragons lacrima. And judging by Lumina's reaction, it must have been something dreadfully awful to even have to remember. Than there was Jorel who seemed displeased with how this mission was going so far. Honestly, the less information was annoying but she let it slide off of her, not caring in the least if it wasn't enough to work from. Just mean't they had more learning and catching up on information to do, plus she so wanted to go to that hotel! Cocoa would poke Miuna's head, sending her a friendly reminder. "Remember Miuna, this is a mission. Not a game." The exceed would tell her, yet Miuna would flick him lightly in return. "I know that, doesn't mean I can't enjoy myself in the process." Cocoa would roll his eyes, knowing that meant Miuna was going to take everything childishly.
"It's a job, it's not supposed to be entertaining." He would state, yet she would simply ignore and followed the group along towards the hotel. "Who says a job can't be fun? No one, that's who!" The celestial slayer would state, zinging her partner for fun purposes.
