o4. Base: Indecisive, Kind, Trusting Personality: Being the youngest of his family meant that a lot of his choices were made for him growing up. As he gets older and his family babies him less and less he'll find himself second guessing. He doesn't question his choice in his future as he's always loved singing with his Mother and sisters. He has a kindness to him that seems to be something natural and easy for the youth to express. While he knows not many expect it due to his elder brother's serious natures, his sisters while more gentle weren't exactly pushovers either. He was raised to believe the best of a person, so one could say he's rather...trusting. Forgiving even.
Dealing with outsiders of his family is a rather, easy thing for him. He doesn't mind meeting new people even if he's pretty sure he seems like a 'head in the clouds' sort. Meeting others is easy for him, he's always near an elder sibling who has a rather large circle of friends. Meeting his own friends however seems a bit more difficult for the youth as he's...awkward in a sense. He doesn't exactly know how to deal with those of his own age. Generally when friction with new people or within the already established group occurs he...well. He chickens out. He rather avoid arguments and finds yelling rather, scary. Dealing with that is usually with a fearful reaction and a attempt to get away as fast as he can. Once you gain his trust however he's loyal to a large degree.
As of yet, he hasn't gotten into a truly negative relationship. Though generally if something starts to bother him he well...he says it. It might not be the smartest thing, but he was taught to speak his mind. You could say he's a bit blunt in that regard. He wouldn't, but you could. There are many that figure out just how nice he is and try to take advantage of that. Usually an elder sibling learns of it, then they are the ones to handle it. As the youngest he is overprotected to a point, he's a bit spoiled in that sense. He's used to others handling issues before he's even made aware there was one. Due to this a large amount of situations are a result of his inexperience and thus indecisiveness that he has. He's not sure when or even if he should speak up about what troubles him. So, for the most part he goes along with the most dominate personality near him. For good or bad.
Kaleo is the third son in a family of five kids. He has two older brothers, and two older sisters. Making him the youngest of the lot. He is named for his Father, who is more well known as 'Leo'. Kaleo's Mother sings a lot to her children to help pass the time within the house, so both of his older sisters have followed suit. His Father and brothers are all hunters for their little community. Kaleo wanting to become a singer as well is a rather...touchy subject around his household as his community is about being productive. Sadly, singing is not such a thing. As such, Kaleo is being silently encouraged by his Mother to follow his heart.
His siblings honestly don't care either way, so long as their little brother finds who he is. Kaleo is rather close with his eldest brother and sister as the two understand. His eldest brother, Kaimana is strict with his youngest siblings teachings. Mostly taking the role of the tough love sort. He has his moments that he shows just how gentle he can be with the small child. His sister, Leilani is the nurturer of the family for sure. She does a lot of the chores if her siblings slack, preferring to not allow her Father to lose his temper and ruin the bond he has with the children thus far. She doesn't mind that Kaleo seems intent on breaking a few rules. Rather...she fully encourages it.
Due to their Father wishing to keep to the community structure the fact that Kaleo is serious about singing and not as much about being apart of the hunting party. Worries him greatly, but he's not about to crush his child. Not unless it seems like someone else is about in a much more demoralizing way. His Mother is rather open to it. She uses singing to comfort her children, to her if Kaleo wants to comfort others its perfectly fine...
