۩ Ohmarow, for the most part, is a laid back quite man, slow to anger but quick to action if provoked. Saying little even when spoken to, at least until he's more acclimated to the persons around him. He'll sometimes ignore a question or comment simply because he doesn't want to talk. Most times however due to being forced from his comfort zone in recent years will give some level of a response. He's also quite direct with what he'll say. Taking time to choose his words in order to gain the best effect from them. This means sometimes he'll come off as overly wise for his years. His temper can be quite fiery too, and while he avoids outbursts around others of the physical variety, such as throwing something or punching a wall, things he's known to do in private, he can unleash a rather devastating verbal assault. Though even this is restrained and hidden behind a scowl and clenched fist. He'd much rather not expose his temper around anyone then let it be known just how bad his anger can affect him. That's not to say he won't unload on someone with physical violence but to gain such a response he has to be pushed to the limit of his control. When such actions are taken, his response is swift and ruthless to a point of overkill. He wants his adversary to fully understand the depth of his capabilities and the lengths he'll go to prove he's not to be provoked a second time. He's also overly withdrawn by nature around people. Not liking the company of people when compared to Pokemon. In his mind, people betray and can hardly be trusted and those unwilling to earn his trust deserve little from him. That's not to say he won't help the random stranger in need, though. His sense of moral justice can compel him to put himself between any two forces if it means preventing an injustice. He views people's actions, and the rewards given to them through what can only be described as "the scales of justice". To him, everyone should be given equal standing. No exceptions. But to those lucky few who earn his trust and company, he's hard-pressed to abandon or move on from. He'll go above and beyond to set aside his "need" for social isolation to be with them. Ohmarow can also be a gruff man and hard to get along with at times and in no way tries to present himself as anything he's not so while he might try and hide his personal flew's he makes no mistake with how they shape him as a person. Openly admitting to others his fears and faults when asked. He's the type of person to use life experience to further the choices of those around him in order to make the best choice possible. While still not directly telling them what to do. Everyone has to learn and to him, he can help but it's not his place to avoid the learning experience someone else is entitled too. But when bad luck plagues someone he's no fool and will aid as best he can. Everyone gets one. He's also the sort of man that believes in the strength of his own effort as opposed to charity. He'd rather work towards his desires and goals then be given any sort of help. He'll take help when he can't do for himself but otherwise will refuse it. Victory for him isn't the end result, its the effort put towards it. In the end, Ohmarow can be described as quiet and withdrawn, modest but with a temper but also strong emotionally, mentally and morally.

۩ The Tanoweichi family has a long history of powerful trainers marking its lineage throughout the ages within the Johto region. This strength by blood has only been rivaled by one other, the Nakamichi family. Their bloody rivalry dates back to nearly 700 years, to even before the Great Pokemon Wars.
As the world progressed and become more civilized so to did their once murderous disputes. Where once death resolves their problems, eventually Pokemon battles stood to resolve such conflicts. This new form of conflict resolution became an uneasy truce that had been maintained ever since up until very recently.
As the world progressed, both families faltered and even regressed. Believing to remain strong they must embrace the roots upon which their family trees had become so powerful. They shunned the progress of technology and medicine that the world was making. To blind to see the truth before them. For nearly 200 years as the world became what it is today, they stagnated.
Their families shrunk in both size, power, and notoriety. Becoming little more than footnotes in the pages of Johto's history. The drastic decline in members and loss of power had for a short moment in time resulted in a rebirth of the rivalry in the worst possible way with rumors the Nakamichi may have had a hand in the death of Kibba Tanoweichi, Ohmarows father.
Within both families, there has almost always been a patriarch or matriarch to lead the family. Someone appointed from within, born into the family and never married into power, to make and maintain laws and order among its kin. This for the Tanoweichi is was normally the eldest male, while the eldest female for the Nakamichi family.
Kibba was the former heir of the Tanoweichi family and father of Ohmarow who found himself on the receiving end of a devastating plot to oust the family once and for all. Kibba's health had been declining for some time but his sudden death left the family in both a state of emotional and financial chaos. Saweka Tanoweichi, Ohmarow's mother was eventually able to pull the family back together but the loss of her husband had left Ohmarow as the matriarch, and soon-to-be target of a new growing plot ...
Ohmarow's childhood was a rough and troublesome one. Raised on a large estate outside of Olivine City with his Mother, Father, and Grandmother. His only known remaining blood relatives. His father worked as a Pokemon Breeder while his mother managed the lands still owned by the family they had been given as payments during the waring age.
Here Ohmarow was trained in archery, swordsmanship, martial arts as well as Pokemon care and wilderness survival. He grew to the age of fifteen before his father passed and It was upon becoming an adult at eighteen and taking up the mantle of the family patriarch that his world was shattered and stolen from him.
Nakamichi family had made their move. Whatever happened that fateful night left Ohmarow far-flung from his home and without any memory of his family or the Nakamichi's. He'd been on a trip to deliver a newly hatched pokemon to its future trainer when he'd come under attack. It was swift and brutal and intended to kill, but something went wrong and instead, he'd been left to die in the Johto wilderness.
Without any memory of who he was and armed only with the faintest subconscious knowledge, he'd been attacked, he hide his lack of self-knowing from the world. Eventually stumbling into Azalea town. Where he'd take up residence in an old cabin just outside the town in the foothills of the nearby mountains.
He would convince Kurt to teach him the art of crafting and repairing poke'balls as well as metal smithing. Becoming a Pokemon trainer in the process before officially leaving to become a full fledge trainer and taking on the gym leader challenge to test himself very near to his twenty-first birthday.
He would travel the world in search of greater challenges, specializing in Steel type pokemon. Along the way, and very close to when he'd first left on his journey, losing an eye due to an explosion in an encounter with Team Rocket. The counter also nearly crippled his left leg forcing him to now walk with a cane.
Very near to the end of his journey before settling on becoming a Gym leader himself, feeling there was no better way to encounter powerful trainers to test himself against, he reunited with his Grandmother who informed him of the reality of his past, and the two families' rivalry. Though nearly 10 years had already passed he was disinterested in returning to the mantle of the family patriarch.
He'd long since come to terms with his amnesia and had no interest in grasping at the fragmented memory of who he'd once been. Though his Grandmother gave him little choice. Thus he became the patriarch if for no other reason than to get to know his mother but had made it very clear, that whatever intended future had been set in place for him was no longer his to claim.
It was then he was granted ownership of his father's sword and what remained from the armor worn by the most revered Samurai of the family. From this, he crafted his now iconic cloak. As time passed however he settled more and more into the role of family patriarch without even realizing it. When eventually he did, it was with the realization the authority of his family name granted him the ability to challenge the powerful foes he so desperately craved to battle against. They came to him now ...
BUT the Nakamichi plots were now rekindled and in a second attempt to kill him, Ohmarow settled the decads old rivalry once and for all. Like cowards the Nakamichi had sent a young girl, no more than twelve, to assassinate him. He defeated her soundly, though she fled before he could subdue her.
The underhanded evil of the Nakamichi family then turned on its own messenger of death and attempted to silence her. Only by chance did he encounter the girl in the forests outside Goldenrod city, battered and bruised, holding out only by the sheer force of her will. Stepping in, Ohmarow defended her. Despite her attempt on his life, he realized she was little more than a pawn in someone else's schemes. She was no more to blame for her actions than he was for his loss of identity so many years ago.
In the end, the Nakamichi family was dissolved as the majority of its members were arrested. The girl named Fukumi, now facing the same blind justice as her peers, in tears and handcuffs, would be pulled from the hands of Looker himself. Ohmarow stood between her and a life of uncertainty. Refusing to allow blind justice to settle the scales against her.
He would go on to officially adopt her as his own daughter, and continued his journey for another 2 years with her at his side, teaching her all he could and acting as the caring father she had been denied before striving towards his goal of becoming a Gym Leader.
All things that never happened, happen again. All things come full circle yet the circle is broken All things remembered only to question the memory ...
