The DarkTribe is most known for their great strength, ability to see perfectly in the dark, their amazing skill in crafting, creativity and their amazing grand theater. They function in a hierarchical system (Nobility and what have you). All Dark Tribe are expected to carry on with dignity and pride.
*NOTE:As you can see there is no preview for the Merchant! This is because I want you to come up with who it will be. You can custom whatever you'd like. You can even use an existing b'alam you have (as long as he is Dark Tribe). Existing b'alam without edits will be given edits (Within reason and possibility!)

OOC || The judging for the Featured Characters will be pretty strict. These characters play extremely important roles within the tribe and will be founding family lines of tradesmen for the Dark Tribe. We want them to be roleplayed, and often. These characters are going to assist in building the culture of the tribe. Their offspring will carry on their legacy, and in a few generations their names will be remembered and spoken of with reverence.
Judging will be based on the following qualities ||

We will be looking for knowledge of the shop's setting, knowledge of the DarkTribe itself, and how you use the cultural foundation and 'ideal direction' of the tribe to your advantage within the prompt.
Conformity to the founding culture! These B'alam would be educated directly by the Magus. Gabriel is a prideful B'alam and will become furious if he finds his teachings were disregarded. Bad things happen when Gabriel is furious. This means we don't really want to see any revolutionaries in the first FC's. These FC's are setting the standard for this culture's mentality. They were woven into being as ignorant as newborns, personally educated by Magus who were personally enlightened by the Grand Weaver, and mentored by their leaders until they were confident enough to begin teaching others. Revolutionaries or divergent thinkers right now would be...too soon. This is the Genesis of the world. Creativity! We want to know what your B'alam is all about. What is their personality, their future aspirations, what they want in a soul-bound partner, why they chose their craft, how they go about it, etc. We'll score extra points for real thought and heart. If you research how they do their trades and express that through the prompt, if you really put a lot of thought into the character, and if you convince us that this is a character you will build on and roleplay we'll take your entry more seriously than if you're just trying to get something pretty for your sig. Remember- these are very important characters!
In-Thread Activity and Behavior! Whatever happened outside of B'alam is your business. We'll be taking a look at in-thread behavior, frequency, etc. as 'tie breakers' between favored entries. Sometimes we can't pick between plots, character ideas, etc. You guys have so much creativity and heart that we needed a system of tie-breaking. This is our way of letting you know that activity and good behavior are rewarded. Even though these award tiny points to the final score of every entry, it can be the difference between a close win and a close lose. Again, we -want- these characters to be active. They are essential characters.

Lead Magus
Gabriel Belmont || Gabriel is a wise yet quiet leader. He will say what needs to be said at the appointed times. However, he will not go out of his way to start a conversation with anyone he does not consider family. He takes the teachings of the Grand Weaver seriously, as it was what he was enlightened to do, but he believes that everyone can make their own destiny. Unlike some of the other Magus, Gabriel can have a temper when his pride and teachings are challenged. Fools are not tolerated. It has been taught to those that he has taught personally that he will not hesitate to end their lives should the disappoint him (this goes for the rest of the tribe, though the FCs are held to a higher standard). Despite this, Gabriel does have a gentle side which surfaces now and than. His soul-bound, Marie, is always there to keep his anger in check.

These lighter colored pelt dark tribe members are -normally- not considered to be scouters, but rather more considered for positions within the city (such as scholars). It's mainly because of them having a lighter colored pelt makes it harder for them to blend in with the dark. smile It's really for their safety. xxx◘ What are "Non-Hereditary Nobility" Titles? How do you obtain one? Is it possible to obtain a "Hereditary Nobility" Title via the same way (Briefly Explain why or why not)? You must have an approved plot in order to obtain a Non-Hereditary Nobility Title, so essentially it's a quested position. However, with the Hereditary Nobility titles you must partake in a special event that has them available to enter for. Otherwise you cannot gain one of those titles. xxx◘ Who are the Dark Tribes Allies? Enemies? Allies are the Light and Earth Tribes. Neutral is Wind, Fire Water and Ice. Though..... I'm slightly confused about something. In the light Wind, (I meant to put wind there) tribe it's said that the dark tribe is their enemies? Or at least that they're afraid of them... I did read that right in there somewhere not too long ago right? Because I used that as part of Jalus's personality entry. Just thought I'd mention that since I'm slightly confused about their alliance if that is the case XD

►About the B'alam ♦♦♦ xxx◘ What's their name?Kalmár xxxxxx→ Meaning? "Merchant, Trafficker, Trader" xxx◘ Personality || Kal has a very rough exterior but he's very suave when it comes to dealing with trades or encouraging a pretty Nantlil she should buy herself a string of the finest pearls from the water tribe. He has a hagglers nature, which he should as he's a merchant, but that doesn't mean he won't make someone sell something below it's valued price. Despite most of his qualities he does like an honest deal overall, though he knows those won't happen all the time. If he finds you trusting and worthy he'll deal fair price with you, but if he finds you lacking and shady in nature he'll likely rob you blind. While he may have a meticulous work ethic, when it comes to cubs he's just a big softy and will often snatch stuff from his wares to bring to the Orphanarium. (I'd like to work with Zakiax on that) He can have a mean streak, but that's only if he's pushed to the brink or someone does something insulting in front of him. While not everyone HAS manners, he believes that manners are pretty much everything. He will not act a fool in front of anyone or play petty games, he's quick and straight to the point and won't dilly daily. If you try to pull one over on him or make a mockery of him you'll likely find yourself in a cargo net and on your way off to the farthest reaches. xxx◘ How do they view their task? With due diligence! It's not just any Merchant who can get this type of quality with their goods. He'll be very proud of what he does and work every angle he can in order to make sure he has the best stock and the best traders to haggle with when it comes to getting goods from other tribes. xxx◘ What kind of plots would you like for them? I honestly want all the plots for him. I want plots that show his somewhat devious side, this could be by someone trying to sell him bad goods or he feels like he's being duped out of something so he finagles a few things to make it go in his favor? He's not above trickery. I would like some plots to show his, somewhat, nurturing side. So he has a fondness for cubs, What of it? XD Some plots that have him go outside the dark tribe and some that are also dealing with the dark tribers themselves. xxx◘ Tell me more: Kal flicked his dark ears slightly as he peered over his recent batch of goods that had been brought in. His Paroo was perched a distance away holding something in one of it's paws. When it moved the right way it almost seemed to glimmer. Kal paid it no mind and with a quill and parchment floating beside him, ready to take notes, he began to count over his goods to ensure everything was in order. As he counted the quill scribbled and swayed as he opened crates and shifted through some of the finery. Everything was looking to be in order, at least that was until he opened one of the crates and found rocks weighted inside instead of the armor he had traded one of his prized possessions for. He had meant it to be a gift to their Lord, but it seemed to him that someone had gotten some sticky paws.
His lip curled and the Paroo gave a growl with it's masters sudden change of mood. The quill and parchment was set down and he raked his mind for who had helped him load the cargo that day. He had been aware of the other merchants that had been nearby but none had really stuck out to him. Squinting his eyes as if to help him think better he let out a growl and dug his claws into the hard surface of the ground. Where was the last place he had stopped? He knew that there had been a spot just outside the territory that he had paused for a time to rest the Floofalo (i'll likely quest it later) that was pulling the load. He had been fortunate enough to trade some things to get it. There were some fools that had been lingering around the outskirts, which wasn't uncommon and he had thought he had kept a decent eye on them. It must have been one of them that had taken his wares. Realizing the time however he was going to have to wait. With another growl he curled his lip and then took in a deep breath and allowed himself to relax. He would stay calm, at least until he had the sorry mongrel by their throat.
