 Brianna Ray Jones
Spicy SpendThrift
Brianna Jones is a fiesty 21 year old, who grew up on the wrong side of the suburbs and developed a attitude of take me as I am, or deal with it. She's always scrapped things together to get by, making her very resourceful and creative. Because of her low income life, she doesn't need much and if she wants something, she finds it in a thrift store and spices it up.
Hydrophobic
Brianna suffered a traumatic near-drowning attempt when she was younger, causing a fear of anything with water.
She's never gone near large bodies of water since and has a unnatural avoidance of water in general. She can drink it of course, but she's not fond of rainy days, or even puddles. In the terms of bathing, she prefers to use baby wipes but will hop into a shower for 4 minutes or so. Any long and she starts to have anxiety. There is an erratic fear of something dragging her down again and she tends to avoid doing anything when water is involved. This frustrates her because she wants to go to beaches with her friends, or to water parks. Hell she even just wants to go outside and feel OKAY, instead of constantly afraid of something she wants to see as harmless. As of now, because of how many times she has cancelled plans with no other reason that she didn't feel it, her friends have stopped asking her, and some even stop speaking her.
On rainy days, her mood drops and she becomes grumpy and moodier.
Rain, Rain, Go away
Brie has wonderful luck with gloomy weather! She always seems to find a way to avoid Rain, whether it be a discarded umbrella or when she steps into a building right before the rain starts pouring. Which is awesome cause her hair and shoes are on fleek and she hates getting wet.
ANYTHING ELSE?
Brie grew up in the more wrecked side of the suburbs, usually by low income families with her single mother. As an only child of a single mother, Brie didn't often see her mother as she worked two jobs to make ends meet and made do with herself, she made thrift clothes and toys work for her and learned to sew early on, as well as make something out of nothing with DIY projects. She managed to make it through high school and immediately got a job to help her and her mom. They now live on a nicer side of ashdown in a small two bedroom apartment.
Brianna suffered a very traumatic event in a bath tub when she was young, when she and a neighbor hood girl had been playing. The game was to make the other hold their breath longer then the other by holding their head down and being kids, they didn't really understand the consequences of the game. When it was Brianna's turn, she demanded her friend to keep her head down longer then the other. So her friend did, and she held her down so long that Brie started to inhale water. One minute she was struggling to get her friend to let go and the next, she was being woken up by a EMT. |
