Mercurius is surrounded by a lush garden, which, much like the rest of the city, is adorned by a large amount of flowers, possessing flowerbeds and, in addition, artistically arranged plants and small, tidy hedges, which have square, hollow spaces on their edges, housing ornately decorated streetlamps, with wavy poles ending in large orbs, with circular objects surrounding them, seemingly floating. The streets there are adorned by mosaics, which consist of a variety of small, flat rectangular stones arranged to resemble semicircles. In front of the palace sits a fountain, surrounded by a ground-level, round and shallow pool; water jets jut upwards from both the fountain and the pool, with the former also housing some plants, or possibly statues of plants, on its base.

Chloe strolled around the gardens of the Crocus estate in her bare feet, helping the owners of the capital to water the flowers and keep the row of daisy's in tip top shape, looking beautiful. Blue would circle around Chloe's feet, her ears listening and on high alert in case there were to be any enemies nearby that would pose a threat to the princess. Since they couldn't have guards following the girl around and scaring her, they decided to have there guardian wolf of the castle to help watch over the girl. Plus, just to be safe she does have a chip on her so they can watch her through security cameras and check up on her every now and than. You could never be too careful, that's why the castle would do whatever possible to keep the girl on high alert and take care of her well being. Blue would gnaw on her sleeve, guiding her outside the gardens and into the town square. She would lead her past groups of people, sniffing them as she went passed the citizens to check if they were friendly or an enemy.
Chloe would follow the wolf around, watching people talking and having a good time, cheering and playing in the street. She loved watching others so happy and cheerful, it made herself feel so good just to see them so happy. She couldn't remember if she ever played with anyone or was so happy like that, her childhood was all mostly a strange blur. Not only that, she couldn't remember most recent events of her life, it all felt so weird and like some strange de ja vu moment. Shrugging it off and letting it go, she pet Blue on the head as she followed her in the streets. "You're so cute, Blue. Let's go find a restaurant nearby, I'm starving. That was a lot of garden work." Chloe would tell her friend, as the two traveled around the towns in search of one. "You must be so hungry too, dear. Let's get you something to eat to. You've worked just as hard!" Chloe smiled at the wolf, giving her a soothing head pat and strolling along.

Guild- Independent | Rank- Delta | Magic- Celestial Spirit | Jewel- 500,000 ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾ The Crocus Gardens, a place renowned for its beauty and peace. Mizuki had heard tale of the Fiore Kingdom's gardens from many a traveler. They spoke of its natural enchantment. Its abundance of flowers in all shapes and sizes, of all species and varieties, among the most touted in the continent. She dreamed of seeing the wonderment for herself ever since hearing about it. And, now, she was here. The journey had taken her a bit longer than expected. Her money ended up running out sooner than she realized and so she had taken some jobs along the way. It was entirely worth it, however.
Wandering about, Mizuki could see that the stories of the gardens didn't truly do its beauty justice. The colors and the smells of the flowers were almost intoxicating. "That one is Aconitum degenii." A familiar voice rang out in her mind as she strolled the gardens. "The white one you passed is Anemone narcissiflora. Oh! And there's Lilium bulbiferum! What a wondrous collection they have!" Crux's enthusiasm for the flowers brought a smile to the young princess's features. Despite not having summoned him, she could clearly hear his exclamations from where he watched over her in the Celestial Spirit realm.
"That thief from a few weeks ago didn't lie." She communicated back via her telepathic connection. "They've got almost every type of flower I can think of here." As she mentioned the last, she rounded a corner of the garden to find a young girl speaking with her wolf companion. Mizuki blinked once, studying the pair as the girl talked about getting something to eat. That statement reminded the Spirit mage that she had yet to eat lunch. Being new to the city, she didn't know her way around very well so thought it might be a good idea to ask someone more familiar with the area. "Excuse me!" She called out, waving her had in greeting. "Did you say you were going to get something to eat? Do you mind telling me how to get to the restaurants too? I'm not from around here."
Her lips pulled back in a bright smile while she spoke. Anyone not familiar with her would not know she is a princess. Mizuki tended to alter her speech naturally in order to blend in more with the citizens. She hardly ever spoke or acted in a royal manner, only using such methods when absolutely needed. "My name's Mizuki, by the way. What's yours?' ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾

As the two would continue there walk to a restaurant nearby, Chloe's attention would turn and focus as a voice was calling out, carrying in the wind behind her as she would than hear someone running up to her. Blue would growl slightly at the newcomer, as a way to avoid anyone from getting too close without being sure if they would be a threat or not. "It's ok Blue, you need to stop worrying so much. Your always scaring everyone away from me, even though I do like that, just not all the time so much." The girl would pat her wolf pet on the head, before turning her attention over to the blue haired girl as she seemed to be new to the area and unfamiliar with where much of the places were. She seemed to be a bit younger than her, possibly one year younger and she seemed so innocent and cute. Despite that though, Chloe was really more of a self concerned type and didn't really care too much about anyone else. She would of just blew the girl off right there in her usual way, but where would the harm be in letting her follow? Sighing to herself, she would begin to answer her. "Yeah, that's what I said. I guess you could accompany me to the restaurant, just know you pay for your own food, okay?" Chloe would smile a bit, telling the girl how it would be and despite being so filthy rich she was so spoiled she would not even share her own wealth. Chloe would scan the girl's appearance closely to see if she could like her at all, her clothing wasn't too horrible, and supposedly could be an expensive brand if she knew what it was. Even if it was unfamiliar, it was alright with her so she would accept in allowing the girl to come along.
The girl known as Mizuki would soon introduce herself, stating her own name before asking for the name of herself. "Hi, I'm Chloe - buy lotsa stuff." The other princess girl would state, pretty much explaining how she has a terrible habit of buying every single clothing or accessories in sight, it was a habit and a problem really. Considering her card would always get revoked for spending far too much in only one day. It was also a weird way to introduce one self, but she liked others knowing how filthy rich she really was, more so to just brag and feel better about herself. Though she didn't know it, it was very likely Mizuki too were rich since she were a princess as well, though she wouldn't be aware of it unless she'd see her rich side. That'd probably make her feel closer to the girl, if they could be shopping buddies and all. Than she wouldn't dislike her or be annoyed by her company so much.

Guild- Independent | Rank- Delta | Magic- Celestial Spirit | Jewel- 500,000 ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾ Mizuki grinned as she drew even with the girl. She appeared to be about the same age as her, though her fashion sense and attitude were far different. "I'm not a beggar." The teenager shook her head. "I can buy my own food. I just don't know where anything is...that's all." Why the girl would automatically mention Mizuki paying for her own food was beyond her. It wasn't like she came running up saying how hungry she was. And, even if she had, would it have truly been so bad? Mizuki eyed the girl curiously as she fell into step beside her.
After introducing herself, she waited patiently for the girl to do likewise. But Mizuki couldn't be prepared for the what came out of the girl's mouth next. "Huh? That's a weird way to introduce yourself." One brow quirked upward, teal gaze peering from the corner of her eyes. "I'm assuming you like to go shopping a lot." Now that she looked closely, the cerulean-haired princess could tell that her outfit was made from high quality fabric. What jewelry she wore also seemed to be very well made, and likely very expensive. Chloe would stare blankly at the girl, as if she were confused by the fact she would state how she was more or less not a beggar of any sorts. She didn't think a restaurant would be too hard to find, so she merely assumed she were asking where one was to see if Chloe would step up and pay for her own benefits. "Glad to hear that! How sad would it be if you couldn't afford the finest food?" The girl would place her hand on her heart, as she would truly feel sorry for any poor soul whom would not even have enough money for the best quality food. Letting go of the act, she would lead the way towards a nice set of restaurants, not pointing out that they were the more expensive branch of ones. She would strut in her walking, her bracelets dangling and chiming against the others as she would walk forward with every step while Blue would be following in the middle of the two girls.
Chloe would seem to be a bit offended, as Mizuki had called her weird, or at least she took it as such in that way. "Did you just call me weird? Do you even know who-I-am?" She would point in a hand gesture about asking if Mizuki knew her or whom she was, yet her offended emotions soon rolled away when Mizuki had brought up shopping, literally so quickly did her emotions change as well. Clasping her hands together, Chloe would appear cheerful after hearing her favorite word ever, shopping. If she could shop every second of the day with zero breaks, she would. "Shopping is my life! It's not a like, it's a love! A way of life!" She would explain excited in the moment, considering she shopped every single day, she had rooms and rooms of her stuff in the castle. Closets of clothes, shoes, jewelry, almost every room had her stuff stored away. Not only rooms, but hotels that were owned by her parents and given to her held her stuff as well. It was very well true she had not known in her own affairs of being a princess, or ruling a kingdom. Yet she still found herself coming to the castle to live in, only to believe she was a rich VIP with a daddy who owned the kingdom. She had not actually come to know he was dead, and her aunt was taking his place, nor was she willing to even accept the truth of it all even if anyone of the castle would tell her the news constantly, which they did attempt in trying before giving in to the girls stubbornness. It didn't matter how much information, proof, obvious judgement you gave her, she would take any sad news childishly and ignore it like it never happened, and in her mind, it wouldn't of. She was not one to process sad news, because that would take away her smiles, and cause wrinkles which were awful so she merely avoided accepting any truths as such.
Than the question of rich came up, to which Chloe would answer quite proudly and loving the feeling of being rich, or simply even being asked it. "Yes! See this jewelry?" The girl would point to the bracelets on her arms, both golden, high quality, and very pricey in the market place. It was made of real gold, and not any cheap or fake types. "My daddy bought me these last week! Aren't they gorg??" It was really her aunt who bought her them, she never met her aunt or knew she had one so she would always just assume it were her dad. She wasn't given them in person either, just found them lying in her room in a gift box. She usually would get new ones every month, so eventually she would replace them with a different set when she'd either buy it herself with her aunts card or be given as a gift. She always kept up with the latest jewelry trends, never being caught with ones too old cause that would be so embarrassing. Any old ones she did not care for anymore would go in the dumpster, to which whenever others would see her dumping anything at all, there'd be mobs up in there digging for her expensive treasure like there lives depended on it. "You're rich too, aren't you??" Chloe would question, hoping she'd say yes because other wise she's hanging out with a total loser and would not want to be caught dead with a poor person. Though she made it believable that were true, she'd never admit to still befriending those who were poor anyways. It was just how her mind worked, she could still find herself liking someone else, even when she tried not to even if they were the most broke person on the planet. With the restaurant coming into sights as the much larger building was rising with every step forward they took, Chloe would find herself stopping in front of Mizuki and pointing to the huge building now that they were more easily able to spot it. "Food-ho! This place is just the best in town! It's rated number one restaurant for best cooked food, oh my god you have to try it! You're missing out if not! Come on!" Chloe would grasp hold of Mizuki's hand, pulling her forwards towards the large restaurant, as she couldn't wait to show her around and than finally get some food in her stomach. It's been growling endlessly for hours! Blue would rush forward as well, keeping up easily with the two girls running off in front of her. Thankfully, Chloe was a regular customer here and her dog was always allowed in, despite a rule of no animals allowed. Somehow, her being a princess and all was allowing her to simply bend that rule altogether.

Guild- Independent | Rank- Delta | Magic- Celestial Spirit | Jewel- 500,000 ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾ The cerulean-haired teenager eyes her new companion quizzically. “Pretty sad?” She shrugged when she said it, uncertain of what exactly the girl was going for. The brunette appeared to be all about the expensive things in life, even in terms of food. Mizuki chose not to comment on it though, falling into step with her and the wolf as the other led the way to the restaurants. Her teal orbs nearly bulged from her head when they entered the shopping and food district of the city. Rows upon rows of rather expensive looking shops and eateries lined the streets. She wasn’t kidding. Many of the names sounded familiar to the teenager. Some she had heard of in her travels while others had been talked about in various magazines or advertisements. Upon hearing Chloe’s exclamation of offense, Mizuki cocked her head and peered over at the girl. Face scrunched in noncommittal manner, she said, “Not really.” She shrugged. “I mean, I know your name is Chloe but that’s it. We did just meet, after all.”
And, just like that, her offended air took on a more excitable one. Mizuki blinked at the speed with which Chloe’s emotions could change. Yep, she likes shopping. While she could enjoy it, it wasn’t one of her favorite things to do. She’d much rather be reading a book or going on an adventure or talking with her Spirits. But Chloe seemed to live by shopping. The girl wasted no time in flaunting the jewelry that Mizuki had noticed earlier. By the gleam alone, she could tell that the quality of the gold was the finest around and that it was rather expensive. It sort of made her nervous for the brunette. I wonder if she knows not to flaunt that…? As the girl kept pointing out the smallest detail of her fine assortment of jewelry and clothing, it became more and more apparent that she either didn’t care of didn’t think to keep her valuables’ worth to herself.
Mizuki could feel her shoulders slumping more with each word coming from Chloe’s mouth. It wasn’t that she was annoyed but, rather, that she was concerned. Concerned for the girl’s safety. Should anyone of a less savory employment overhear her, then they might consider her an easy mark and rob her. She didn’t want to see that happen. The teenager was about to voice her opinion when Chloe managed to catch her off-guard. “Erm…” Mizuki hesitated. Lying was something she preferred not to do yet she also didn’t like broadcasting such things. The look in Chloe’s amber eyes told her that she was secretly hoping the answer to be yes. While that bothered her to an extent, the girl had ultimately offered to show her to the restaurants. With an inward sigh, she nodded her head, lowering her voice ever so slightly to admit, “Yeah. I just don’t like telling others…” Her voice trailed off and her lips twitched with a faint yet sincere grin.
The trio walked further along the streets. Idle chatter more or less halted until Chloe drew to a stop in front of Mizuki. Following her arm to where it pointed, Mizuki noted the name of the restaurant. She had read an article on it just that morning. It was lauded as one of the most popular restaurants in Fiore. There was little time to admire it, however. “Wha--?” Mizuki gasped in surprise when Chloe grabbed her hand and started pulling her towards the restaurant. The wolf ran ahead of them, straight into the building without so much as a cry of disdain from the staff. Does she come here that much!? ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾

Chloe felt offended that Mizuki stated about now knowing her or who she was, yet she simply let that free of her mind because at times, she couldn't really remember enough details about herself either. It felt weirdly foggy trying to remember her childhood, or how she ever got this rich. But the fact was, she had the money and all the shiny expensive clothing, jewelry, and delicious food she'd ever wish for, so there was little reason to think too much or hard on the matter. She already had everything she could ever desire, so why think too much on the little details? Chloe would ignore the fact the girl only knew her by name after she only just stated it after meeting her, as she would yank her arm towards the restaurant but with not as much force, because she really wasn't that strong to truly pull hard. Busting open the doors, Blue would trot in first, making sure the coast was clear and okay for the two to come through without walking into any danger. She'd walk to the side, to move out of the way and allow them to continue in. The owner of the restaurant would see the wolf coming inside, sighing all the same. In truth, he preferred the girl would keep the wolf outside, but clearly she never did listen to anything anyone would ask or tell her. He would wait at the counter as Chloe would keep a grasp onto Mizuki's hand, pulling her in closer to the owner. "Two seats please, for your finest ladies of Fiore! We talked about the reserved seat, yes?" The girl would pull out one hundred dollars, slipping it to the owner as she liked to have the best seating, even if it meant paying for that exact spot. She was pretty much known for giving money to get the things she desired, anything at all you could think of, she'd give money to get it if she really wished for it. "Oh, and one dog who needs to eat too!" She would point at Blue, who stood in the middle of the two girls. The man would have them follow him to the booth in which she saved for the girl whenever she would decide to show up there to eat, stopping in front of the table as he awaited for them to both take a seat. Once Chloe had arrived at the table, she would release Mizuki's hand, and sit at the left of the booth, waiting for Mizu to take a seat as well. Blue would hop up on the same seat as Chloe was sitting on, panting and staring at the blue haired girl, tilting her head as she watched her. Once the girl would take her seat, the waiter would ask what they wanted to order. "One full salad with everything, and I mean everything on it for me please! No being cheap or leaving anything off, or you won't be getting a very nice tip." The princess would wink, giving them a warning as to how it better come out top notch for her to eat. "Blue will have whatever meat you got back there. Don't you dare think about being cheap on her either, just cause she's an animal." She would continue to give more warnings to the waitress, before turning for Mizuki to decide what she wanted. Once she would complete her order as well, the man would leave to go prepare there food and drinks in the back where the kitchen was.
Chloe would turn to Mizuki, a smile forming over her lips in a more friendly manner. "So about before, why don't you like letting others know you got money? There's nothing wrong with bragging a little, makes other people feel jealous, they wish they could be us rich girls, but they could never with there broke a**." She would speak in a making fun of tone, pulling money literally out of her bag to fan herself with. She liked others knowing she was extremely rich, they would give her anything she wanted in return for some money, that's how she liked to roll. Getting everything she could ever want, get her way whenever she wished for just a small price of her wealth. That was how she preferred to make a living, rather than working for anything. In all truth, she hardly ever went out on jobs, not unless others went with her to do all of the work for her. She would pretty much just follow them around, and wait for them to take care of all of the dirty work and take that payment money for doing absolutely nothing, even though she really didn't need the money since her father gave her an allowance every week full of thousands. Surely the other people in the guild with her could use the money earned more, she was just really selfish when it came down to getting the things she wanted. "Where are you from anyway?" Chloe was ask, genuinely wondering as to where the girl resided from. If she were very rich like she seemed to be, she would have to be affiliated with some rich family or something close to that. It made the girl wonder, and really wanted to know where Mizuki came from. She would pat Blue on the head, watching the younger girl as she waited to hear her answer, whether if she would let her know or not. [OOC: Hope this is okay, wasn't sure how to best put it. : 3 ]

Guild- Independent | Rank- Delta | Magic- Celestial Spirit | Jewel- 500,000 ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾ Mizuki trailed along after Chloe, staring intently at the other’s back. They waltzed past people in the streets and breezed past incoming patrons of the restaurant. It was as if Chloe owned the entire place, being allowed to do whatever she wished whenever she wished. She wasn’t afraid to flaunt her wealth in the least to get her way. This point was further proven when she withdrew hundred dollars to hand over to the proprietor. The exchange made Mizuki uncomfortable to a degree. To blatantly flounce money to get her way, it wasn’t something the cerulean-haired teenager enjoyed. Yet she didn’t want to say anything since she didn’t want to cause a scene.
Glancing down at her hand which Chloe still held firmly to, Mizuki shifted her weight anxiously from foot to foot. Money drew attention and attention was not something she wanted. Both for herself and Chloe’s sake. But she didn’t have a say in the matter as the other girl pulled her along to, what Mizuki assumed, was her usual spot. Chloe soon released her grip before taking a seat on the left side of the bench, leaving her the right section. Sliding into the proffered seat, the princess of Eridani watched and listened while Chloe placed her order for both herself and Blue. Geez, she even has to have the fanciest food. She blinked in mild surprise. Then it was her turn.
“Oh, umm…” Mizuki picked up the menu and quickly skimmed through it. “I’ll have the steak and cheese sandwich with a salad on the side, please.” She smiled up at the waitress while handing her back the menu. It wasn’t the most expensive thing that they offered, but it sounded the best to her. The teenager wondered briefly if her companion might comment on the fact. Then again, she had already explained that she disliked flaunting money so she hoped to avoid such a question. But Chloe appeared curious about her reasonings, eventually moving back to her earlier response. “Well, it’s not safe for one.” Mizuki explained simply. She absently picked at the cloth napkin on the table. “People see money and they get ideas. Haven’t you ever thought that someone might try to rob you if they know you have a ton of money on you at all times?”
Her teal orbs lifted from the table to the brunette. She hadn’t expected the girl’s second question to come so swiftly. “I’m from a neighboring kingdom. Things were getting a bit confining so I came to Fiore to practice magic. I've been checking out some of the guilds while I'm here. Next on my list to visit is the Blue Pegasus guild.” Mizuki told a white lie. While it had been the basic truth, she hadn’t told the truth in its entirety. That she was the Princess of Eridani, heir to the kingdom, was a secret she kept closely guarded. Nobody in the kingdom of Fiore knew who she was and she preferred to keep it that way for as long as possible. ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾ ✸ OOC ✸ Sorry. Chloe would watch as Mizuki would place her order next, staring as she would be ordering quite a lot of food. "You sure order big meals, I like that!" She would answer with the biggest grin, peach orbs locking with her teal eyes. Chloe would keep a close eye as the waitress would scamper off and yell at his grew to put the best effort ever into there orders, the employees running around as if in a complete frenzy. Smiling after witnessing that, she would look back to Mizuki as she would be giving her answer to the question as to why she didn't enjoy bragging about having a ton of beautiful green money in hand to the world. "Safety is highly overrated anyways. Who needs it?" Chloe would answer as Mizuki was explaining how incredibly unsafe it was to let everyone know you were rich, almost like an invitation to rob you blind. The blue haired girl would ask if she would ever think that she too possibly could become robbed right under her nose with the way she flashed her greens around. "Nope! Nobody's going to dare try to rob me, not with Blue around. Plus; it doesn't really matter if someone did. I get an allowance so I can just ask daddy for more. Im sure he'd understand!" Chloe would tell her how she truly felt, not caring if someone tried because it wouldn't end well for them with Blue being her body guard. On another note, her father could easily replace the money stolen. So it just wasn't something she'd allow herself to worry about.
Listening closely, maybe also focusing on the others in the restaurant as her attention span was incredibly short, she'd hear the girl out as she explained where she came from. "Which kingdom; what's the name? Confining? What's that mean?" Chloe would ask for the name of the place Mizuki was born in, before quickly becoming confused on what the word she said meant as she certainly wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed. "Blue Pegasus? Do they own a Pegasus? Ive had lots of ponies when I was younger, not sure if I've ever seen a Pegasus. Your going to visit a guild full of flying horses?" The brunettes eyes would sparkle in obvious interest, taking the complete wording she spoke and believing there was a guild out there run by winged horses. "What do you think the guild will be like?" Chloe would lean in forward on the table, her interest becoming more sparked by the minute.
Though that question didn't linger in the air long enough, as the waitress had returned with the placement of there order. The speed of its arrival was simply impeccable for the amount of care they're desperately put into it, using there best work to make it delicious. "Steak, cheese fries, and salad for you mam." The man would respond, handing Mizuki hers. Soon he would than pull Chloe's out from his tray, handing it to her next. "One salad for you." Finally, he'd hand the last dish to the wolf a bit nervously. "And a-a bowl of meat for you. Please en-joy." The sight of a large wolf would spook him, though he would hope they would thoroughly enjoy what the restaurant dished out for them. He would swiftly take his leave back to the front, watching and praying the food would be good enough for them. "Thank you!" Chloe would attempt to thank the man before he'd scramble off, wondering what his problem was. Blue would dig right in, enjoying her meal happily. The girl would take small bites into her salad using a fork while she would listen to Mizuki answer her back, staring into her deep teal orbs. (Ooc: sorry the reply took so long back! D : )

Guild- Independent | Rank- Delta | Magic- Celestial Spirit | Jewel- 500,000 ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾ A blush crept across the princess’s cheeks at Chloe’s mention of how much she had ordered. She hadn’t thought it was that much, but she had never been to this restaurant before. Perhaps their portions are larger than I thought? Mizuki wondered to herself, mulling over the other girl’s comment. There was little time for it, however, as the brunette soon began to answer her inquiry. The cerulean-haired teenager listened closely to what she said. A small frown slowly spread itself across her features. There was a brief hesitation before she said, “You do.” Her voice was barely above a whisper though her companions would hear it clearly. Her hand reflexively moved to the scarf at her neck while her teal eyes gleamed with concern. Mizuki needed to get Chloe to realize the danger she was putting herself in with such an attitude. “Having a bodyguard can only do so much. What if someone got the jump on you two? What if there’s more than one? Blue does look capable enough to handle a handful of attackers, but there could be more. And what if—“ The teenager stop suddenly, hesitating to voice her concerns further.
It wasn’t for fear that she did it, but concern. She didn’t know if Chloe would comprehend exactly what she was getting at. Or if she even cared. But Mizuki couldn’t simply leave it at that. Drawing in a breath, she released it slowly before continuing. “What if money isn’t what they want? Being rich has a lot of drawbacks. The foremost of which is having people target you for your money…or worse. Have you ever thought that someone might want ALL your money? Not just what you have on you, but everything…right down to your allowance. There’re people out there like that. I’ve come across a couple of them before and they don’t react well to ‘no.’” There was so much more to it than that, though. So much more that Chloe obviously didn’t recognize. Mizuki truly hoped that her carefree and bold ways didn’t put the girl into situations she herself had been in. They weren’t pleasant. One night in particular always stood foremost in her mind. Teal orbs peered down for an instant at the scarf she had started to absently toy with. With a subtle shake of her head, she lowered her hand back to the table, gazing back at Chloe.
Mizuki heaved an inward sigh. She hoped to avoid further details on her home country, but Chloe was more curious now than beforehand. “It’s the Kingdom of Eridani. Have you heard of it?” Her head cocked to the side in curiosity. Average citizens typically didn’t know of her kingdom. It was generally those whom stayed atop political discussions and those of higher level mage ranks- such as the Magic Council or Guild Masters- who would recognize the name and understand its relation to Fiore. “And confining means that things got too restrictive for me…cramped my style so to speak.” The younger girll didn’t know how else to explain it for her without giving too much away. But it seemed as if her attention wasn’t the longest there was swiftly moved from that to the topic of the guilds. Mizuki chuckled and shook her head, finding amusement in what the brunette asked. “Not that I’m aware of. Although, I’ve heard they have a flying ship called the Christmas or the Katrina…something like that…but no actual Pegasus. From what I’ve been told, the guild has a unique quality to it. But nobody’s said much more than that. It’s made me curious about them.” She shrugged and leaned back in her seat. “Other than that, I’m planning to visit Sabertooth and Fairy Tail.”
She waited to see what Chloe would say to it all. Their conversation was son interrupted momentarily as the owner of the restaurant soon appeared with their food. That wasn’t long at all. The princess commented quietly. And it smells delicious! “Thank you.” Mizuki smiled up at him when he placed the food in front of her. His demeanor screamed anxiety and nervousness as he turned to set Chloe’s salad on the table, and then Blue’s meat bowl next to that before scampering away. Hmmm… She felt bad for the man. Apparently, her current company had the ability to ruin a reputation if not pleased. ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾

Chloe would stare at the blue haired girl, as she seemed to fall a bit quiet, though she began to speak up at the mention of the whole bodyguard ordeal. She would laugh a bit; though not in the way she found it to be hilarious or anything, just found it odd how the girl seemed to put worry on her mind far too much. "Ah, it's fine. I mean I can fight too; but it's not really something to worry so much about. I'm sure I can handle myself, Blue too! Worrying so much only causes wrinkle lines, you shouldn't worry so much, Mizu!" She would tell the other princess with a cheerful and upbeat smile, trying to get her to not worry so much. It wasn't really fun to hang out with someone who was so depressing to talk to. Chloe would hear the girl sigh aloud, her peach colored orbs looking into her light blue eyes. "What kinda question is that? You're telling me there's people out there who don't want money?" Chloe would scoff at the question, that felt so unbelievable because who would turn down money which can get you anything in your wildest dreams? That just didn't make any sense to her. Though she continued to listen to what the girl had to offer about her statement, taking in it all before she would make up her answer. "Oh good; I thought you were saying people would not want any money, I was gonna call you crazy." Chloe would speak of after hearing Mizuki explain how thieves could want every last bit of money she and her family more clearly owned. "My daddy would never allow anyone to take all of our money, he is king after all, he can literally make anyone who tries to steal our wealth disappear, he has that power! It would take someone very powerful to even have a slight chance, so I honestly doubt that could ever happen, and therefore should not be worried for or taken too much thought it!" Chloe would shake her head with a smile, hoping that the girl would not worry about something so unlikely to happen anymore, and focus on something much more entertaining and fun so this chat could at least go somewhere exciting. Though she'd be drawn back at the mention of Mizuki coming across a similar situation as the one she was describing. "Did you die???" She would question, more seriously even though her tone made it seem like she was joking around. "What did you do to get rid of them?" Chloe would ask quite curiously; wondering what sort of decision the girl had planned out to get out of there and still keep her money and coins in tact.
Playing with her hair some as she twirled her brunette strands around, she would watch Mizuki messing with her scarf, it looked so cheap and plain to her. Where were the sparkles, and the latest fashion trends on it? She really went around with a cheap looking scarf, even though she could afford such a much nicer one? That struck the other princess as odd, but decided to ask nothing of it to avoid awkward small talk, not like that hasn't already happened so far. With the question on the table of what kingdom this girl was from, only gave her more of a reason to tell her, rather than keeping it a secret further. "Oh! Yes, I have heard of Eridani. My daddy talks about the kingdom sometimes, he says how he always wonders if there's a hot queen ruling. I don't like it when he talks about dating others, I don't know why but I just feel like it's so gross." Chloe would state, her father's words rubbing off as annoying to her, even coming to dislike how he views other woman sometimes. Sure, Chloe did the same thing with guys she liked, but that was different. She didn't have anyone who she married and passed away; just felt so wrong to date like some slob left and right, especially when you were ruling a freaking kingdom! Girls were probably just dating him to rule the kingdom too, probably just using him like some tool, and yet he never seemed to mind; it was highly disturbing. Chloe would listen as the girl explained confining, still not really understanding much of it but she got too lazy to continuously ask and at least understood to a certain degree enough to answer. "Are you saying you don't like the luxurious life?? The huge beds, maids taking care of you, and just doing whatever it is you want because you literally have everything you could ever dream of!" She would gasp, being taken a back at such a thought of anyone going as far to avoid such a perfect life style. But than, she could sort of understand where the girl was coming from. Sometimes her daddy would order her to stay put, and she'd just sneak out the window to run off to town and go shopping. "Nah I hear ya on that, I need to shop too. I'd be bored out of my mind stuck in my room all day!" She would state simply, hating the very idea of not even being allowed to go out shopping, as much as she did enjoy sitting around and looking at weekly magazines daily. That sort of thing would eventually get tiring to anyone's eyes though, that's what shopping was for, to help cure your tired eyes!
The question of the Blue Pegasus guild came up soon enough, listening as Mizuki explained it further. Chloe would find herself to be slowly disappointed, after hearing that Blue Pegasus did not actually own any flying horses. She was actually deciding to go there too after hearing the name and the possibility of something so awesome, but after hearing not, it wasn't really wasn't worth a trip to there anymore. "The Christmas? Ohh, is that where you go to get gifts? If so; Im boarding that ship!" Chloe would clap happily at the idea of free gifts; despite her being rich enough to buy anything she'd ever dreamed of owning. Just cause you were filthy rich, it didn't mean you couldn't enjoy free gifts when given the opportunity! "I hope presents is what makes it unique!" She would exclaim with such bliss and excitement in her tone. She would listen as Mizuki was saying she'd decide to check out fairy tail and sabertooth next. Chloe would lean in close, uncomfortable close to the princess, whispering for only her ears to hear. "Don't let the name fool you; Sabertooth has nothing to do with fanged tigers." She'd lean away, laying with her back to the chair as she had been sitting in that same position. "Ive heard fairy tail has actual fairies! My daddy made me join Sabertooth! I wanna see a real fairy!" Chloe would cross her arms together, upset at her fathers decision to pick a guild for her. And one that was totally lame, she didn't like tigers! "Whats worst; no one will let me on there jobs and just follow! Can you believe the nerve of these people, making me earn my share of rewards by working too?! Hellooo, I'm not only a lady but a princess, we never work for ourselves! We have maids for that!" Chloe would be so appalled that no one was willing to do all of the work for her while she followed around and fixed her nails or hair. She just couldn't work with people like that! "If Fairy Tail lets you join jobs and have maids to do the work for you, let me know! I'll just sneak out of my current guild for fairies!" That wasn't even the first time, Chloe had also gotten away from the kingdom before, and even ditches the guild a lot. There's just no fun in doing work, as she always calls the guild stupid tiger guild all the time before attempting to run off. Her dad always forces her to stay in the guild, and even has people looking out to catch her in case she tries to flee to another. Chloe would wave the man off followed by a smile and a thank you; just as Mizuki had before taking a bite into her salad in the slowest possible way, while Blue next to her would bulldoze through her own portions. She'd notice the looks Mizuki was giving, waving them off. "Oh, don't worry about Dave. His food is always on point, though I have to scare him into cooking good food or else he might get too comfy and cook bland boring poor people food! I'm not going to ruin his business though, I promise. I'm not a monster!" Chloe would state, watching the expression on Mizuki's face as she watched the man practically praying they'd enjoy his meals. Guild- Independent | Rank- Delta | Magic- Celestial Spirit | Jewel- 500,000 ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾ The princess blinked once before turning her gaze from the brunette. Mizuki wasn’t one to worry unnecessarily. If she was worried, then there was good reason behind it. Of course, she met Chloe less than an hour earlier. There would be no way the other girl would know that about Mizuki. Biting her lower lip, the cerulean-haired teenager wondered how much more she should try to explain the dangers of money. No matter what she said Chloe seemed to brush off her concern as nothing more than an overactive mind. “It’s not something that your dad would have any control over.” The girl finally spoke up after listening to the other for a bit. “I mean, what if…” She hesitated to go any further. Would Chloe understand the problem if she spelled it out for her? Mizuki supposed she wouldn’t know unless she tried. Despite not knowing the girl long, she felt sort of protective over her and naivety. The fact that both were princesses merely added to that feeling. Drawing in a deep breath and letting it out slowly, she lifted her eyes back to the ones across from her. “…What if someone wanted to use you against your dad so that they could succeed in getting your money?”
Mizuki’s words were barely louder than a whisper. She didn’t want anyone accidentally overhearing their conversation, but there was something more to it as well. A subtle hint of experience in her tone that spoke to an incident which dwelled in her past. Which is what made Chloe’s follow-up questions more difficult to answer. “No, I didn’t.” The teenager reluctantly admitted, hoping that her company wouldn’t overlook the rest of what she wanted to tell her. “But I barely got away. And both times I had someone around to help me.” Mizuki thought back to those times when her life had been in danger. The first instance, she could barely remember because she had been so young at the time. Events of that night faded with time, leaving behind the last shreds of dread and the fuzzy image of a shadow-man. She more clearly recalled Crux coming to her rescue but nothing else after that. Her second encounter with horrible individuals had been when she was a tad older. That incident stood out clearly in her mind, as well as the boy who endured it with her. I wonder where he is right now? Mizuki found herself wondering absently upon remembering that secondary kidnapping.
She didn’t dwell in those memories long, however. The brunette sitting on the other side of the table explained that she had indeed heard of Eridani and some of her father’s mentions of the place. Mizuki felt a faint blush creep into her features with the words about her mother. It was weird having someone talk about her mother in such a manner, though Chloe wouldn’t know the queen was her mother. Trying to play off her discomfort, Mizuki shifted in her seat, nodding her head. “The Queen is married anyway. I’m sure your dad would hate to hear it but I doubt he’d have a chance with her for that reason.” Fortunately, the brunette wasted little time in switching focus onto her choice of lifestyle. Grateful for the change in subject, the Eridani princess offered a sheepish grin. “It’s not that I don’t like it.” She shook her head. “It’s more that I couldn’t deal with the schedule. The same thing day after day, hour by hour. I didn’t have any time to myself and I couldn’t make friends on my own. My friends were made for me…which didn’t feel right. Not to mention being unable to do anything I actually wanted to do unless my parents or a ton of bodyguards were around.” Mizuki remembered those days of loneliness well. True, she had her siblings to play with and look after, but that could only help so much. Oh how she remembered the heated debates with her parents about easing up on the rules of the castle.
And then the subject of Blue Pegasus came up. Mizuki had to suppress a laugh at Chloe’s supposition of a large ship meant solely to give out gifts. Should I set her straight? She thought about it for a second before ultimately dismissing the idea. The girl already had her hopes of a flying horse dashed. There was no need to take a ship full of presents away from her too. After all, she’d find out on her own eventually. Mizuki blinked as Chloe leaned closer to her, speaking about Sabertooth and how it didn’t have actual tigers in it. The princess paused briefly, blinking once before slowly inclining her head. She knew that to be the case in the first place and the same to be true for Fairy Tail. She takes things very literal. Mizuki noted, cocking her head to one side. And she obviously doesn’t like working. She added after the brunette made her feelings known about her guildmates. “Ya know, I don’t think you’ll meet anyone who’ll let you do that. People who work hard for their money generally don’t like letting others take it from them.” Letting that statement set in, the younger girl tucked into her meal. Her teal orbs drifting from her food, to the worried looking owner and employees, before finally resting on Chloe once again. “Have you ever told him that?” She gestured lightly with her fork. The owner obviously believed his livelihood to be at stake. The way he wrung a cloth in his hands and the furrowed brow screamed concern. ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾

👑Chloe would stare around the restaurant, even as Mizuki was explaining the dangers, her full attention just wasn't there in the moment. However, she still heard what the princess was trying to tell her. "That's what a lot of others think! But if I asked him nicely, he can make thieves lives hell for sure!" She would state with such excitement behind her own thoughts, clearly not thinking it all the way through and what could happen in a more real situation. The girl watched as the blue hair girl would say what if, but than stop completely dead in the track of her own words, as if thinking if she should bring it up or not. Chloe would stare as her mouth held open with this dumb look plastered to her face, as if waiting for her to actually say what she was about to speak up of. Eventually, she would but not without a long and tiring sigh as she would continue to say what it is she was deciding against and even would speak a bit lower almost in a whispering tone, figuring there was no harm in informing her but not letting anyone else hear the conversation. For a moment, she would have to sit there and stare at the wall, as if thinking what to do in the situation that Mizuki would bring up. "Doubt they'd get very far, my daddy has guards that can fight too! And he would figure out a way to save me and keep our money safe too! You don't need to worry girl, everything is fine!" The princess would wink to the other princess, obviously not putting forth too much thought into the matter. She clearly didn't think too long or hard on it at all, also not really worrying about something like that because she doubted anything like that would happen or even could possibly come true. She figured who would dare attack a princess to the kingdom they lived in, if caught they would be jailed and arrested for life! Who would dare even take a chance such as that?
Chloe would sigh of relief like she was going on a roller coaster trip of emotions after hearing the other girl explain how she did get out, but barely. "Well thank goodness! What a crazy experience that sounds like!" The girl would place her hand over her own heart to add for a drama full of effect. She would watch the girl, who went quiet for a bit as she was likely reminiscing on those moments of crazy that happened for her. Although for Chloe, her past all seemed like a blurry haze. She couldn't remember a thing, besides who her parents were. She didn't remember where she was born, or much of her younger years. All she remembered is waking up in flowers, that was the earliest past image she could even come to remember, which was odd. She didn't remember a thing from when she was a child, she wanted to know more about it and who she was, but her memory would never allow such a thing to happen. Once Mizuki would explain how the queen was actually married, the girl would feel heeps full of relief to hear such great news. "That's good to hear! Well, looks like your kingdom got the full set, a king and a queen!" She would smile sweetly towards the other princess, not even realizing she could possibly be the daughter towards them, because she just wasn't smart enough to catch on. Not only that, but Mizuki hadn't really given any detail explaining about being a princess, so it wasn't really anything she could pick up on unless the girl would say so otherwise. Though her next question came as a surprise from Chloe, as it sounded like this girl was not enjoying the luxurious life full of free things, and never earned. "They wouldn't let you do what you wanted? Ugh ew I see what you mean. I hate being forced friends too; like no, I won't even bother with people forced onto me." The princess would blow at her nails, speaking casually. "Doesn't mean you have to interact with them, I'd just ditch them every time." Chloe would laugh slightly, listening as she explained the rest. "That's what windows are for! You sneak away and get the heck outta there fast!" She would state with excitement, nodding her head as that's exactly some problems she faced as well, but always escaped any and all of her duties as well. She would end up getting a lecture, but it was better than actually having to go through with doing what her parents wanted her to do. "Wow your life sounds so similar to mine, how crazy is that!" Chloe would laugh once again, still not catching on or even getting a simple hint.
The fairy princess stared at the celestial princess, as she explained how she would never be able to find guild mates who'd let her do such a lazy thing. "Why not? They still get there share too. Why do I have to work for it too? That's so unfair!" Chloe would pout, unhappy with hearing that she would never be allowed to just follow and look pretty, instead of actually helping out on jobs. "Stupid guilds!" She would continue to pout, her statement full of flare and not liking towards any guilds, not just one in particular. Though Mizuki would question her about the whole waitress being nervous thing, and how she did like his food but would never wreck his already nicely built up company. "Nah, like I said, if I tell him than he'll get too comfortable and his food may become too bland! I ain't having none of that." She would say, brushing at her salad with her fork as she told the girl. "Are you worried about him?" The princess would question the celestial princess, smiling back. "Don't worry, he'll be fine!"

Guild- Independent | Rank- Delta | Magic- Celestial Spirit | Jewel- 500,000 ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾ Mizuki frowned. Chloe clearly wasn’t listening to her thoroughly. Her fast statements and unperturbed demeanor spoke volumes. “But we’re not talking about just thieves.” She blew out a breath. “We’re talking about murderers too. A thief can just as easily be a killer if pushed. And what if your dad never found out who they were? How would he know whose life to make hell?” The princess truly hoped that something she said might work its way into the Fiore princess’s recognition. That something would give her pause and make her think that not everything in the world could be made right with money or punishment. Mizuki shook her head, unwilling to relent on the matter yet. “Guards can only do so much. They’re not always going to be around. I mean, look at you right now. Aside from Blue, you’re basically alone. I’m here too but if a stronger mage came along, then we’d both be in trouble.” It pained her to admit as much. She hated seeing herself as weaker than others. Having already been saved from dire circumstances twice in her life, she had vowed never to be kidnapped so easily again. Perhaps, if those two situations hadn’t occurred, Mizuki might feel like Chloe currently did. Not a care in the world about the evil in men’s hearts.
Setting her fork down, the Eridani princess noted that Chloe at least seemed relieved that her circumstances from before had turned out alright in the end. “Yeah,” she bobbed her head. “It was certainly one of the more harrowing experiences in my life. Which is why I don’t want you to ever experience it. Things can happen when you least expect them.” Her hand had subconsciously moved back to the scarf around her neck when she said the last. Almost like something about it might hide some secret or hold some significance to what she was speaking on. The conversation kept moving as Chloe moved on to the aspect of Eridani having both a king and queen. “I guess that’s one way to look at it.” Her brows arched briefly in concession to the point. “They even have three children to complete the picture. Not that anyone gets to see them outside of royal functions.” Mizuki’s tone would take on an almost loathsome or sarcastic tone. It would only be a hint, but enough to let anyone know that she disliked that particular fact; although, it wouldn’t provide much of a clue as to who she truly was. “Heh,” she laughed mirthlessly at Chloe’s suggestion of ditching the so-called friends. “How do you think I ended up in Fiore? I couldn’t take any more fake friends. I couldn’t take any more lessons. And I definitely couldn’t take the confinement anymore.”
The teenager picked up her utensil once again as she leaned forward in her seat. Lowering her voice, she said, “Windows are a good option. But secret passageways are more fun.” She winked before taking a few bites of her meal. The flavor seemed to have intensified the longer it sat untouched, adding to the deliciousness. Mizuki sat silently for a time, enjoying the excellent meal, while listening to Chloe moan and groan about having to work for her keep in a guild. “My guess is that they say the same thing about you getting money for free.” She tossed back nonchalantly with a shrug. When it came down to it, she had to agree with the complaints from Chloe’s guild members. It wasn’t fair to make them do all the work while she did nothing and got an equal share. The thought gave her an idea. “You could always tell them that you won’t work but would take a cut in the earnings…?” The suggestion wasn’t a serious one, despite being presented that one. Mizuki already knew that Chloe wouldn’t go for it but she was still curious to see her reaction. “As for the owner of the restaurant…” Her teal orbs wandered over to the employees whom stood nervously off in their corner, trying to appear as if they weren’t eyeing the girls the entire time. “Saying you won’t shut him down wouldn’t necessarily make him comfortable. But it would give him peace of mind to know you actually enjoy his restaurant…” ☽❄ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ❄☾
