So I've been on staff for a while now, and I've been wanting to say thanks to everyone for making this shop such an amazing place <3 You all RP so much and make me work my butt off adding stats, so now I want to give something back to you guys.
Basically, what I'm offering here is to buy an SC purchase for one lucky winner. This can be anything - custom-drawn items for your Soq, a familiar, a custom, a breeding, you name it. HOWEVER, this is me spending my own personal SC on someone so I'm going to personally choose a winner from the entries. I may make a shorter list and randomise from it, I may randomise from the entire entrant pool, or I may straight up choose someone and that's that. I will not be disclosing the exact criteria I use for choosing to anyoneI know I'm sneaky and evil like that bwahahahadefinitely not because I haven't entirely decided yet... There are some rules though - so please read carefully to make sure your entry won't be disqualified.

This allows you to get two fully custom familiars. They can be mutants. They can be any edit level. They do not have to be twins or related in any way - just two straight up anything goes familiar slots.
You cannot get this if you won a familiar custom in February, as your cooldown will not run out until April.

This allows you to buy two custom items for your Soq. These can be scarves, pelts, jewellery, blankets etc... They will be custom drawn, not the standard stock items available from trading posts. You can do both items on a single soquili, or do one item each for two soquili.

This is a combination of the above two choices - you get to give one soquili a single custom-drawn item, and get one anything-goes custom familiar (any species/edit level/mutant level).

Rules
Staff may not enter. Sorry guys, I love you all, but you can buy your own SC purchases <3 I will allow people to enter breeding concepts where the owner of the other parent is a staff member, but do so at your own risk - I may or may not be less likely to choose that concept.
Your concept (if you win) will take a while to get made. Do NOT enter if you are impatient - SC work goes at the bottom of the worklist pile. A moderately quick SC cash-in could be picked up within a couple of months, and may not be completed for a few months are after that. And that's for a quick one. The more complex your idea, the longer it will take to make. It may well take over a year before you get your final completed concept, and you will have to be patient. You can poke me for updates, but you may NOT whine about how long it is taking or constantly pressure me/the colourist doing it. That will not be tolerated. You go into this contest KNOWING this.
You cannot specify which colourist you want to make your concept. Sorry, but we can no longer approach specific colourists with our ideas and ask them to take them on. Instead, all cash-ins are placed in a thread called the yellow pages, where colourists can choose to pick them up. I do, however, understand that some colourist styles just don't work for some ideas, and will allow you to do a colourist preference list on the condition that you understand it will take even longer for your concept to get picked up/you may have to ditch this list ultimately if it doesn't get picked up after a long while. You will have to list a minimum of 8 colourists on this list, and it cannot be ranked. I highly encourage putting "Any" for your colourist preference list, however, as the time it will take can significantly increase (seriously, I've been staff for a year and a half and still haven't received any of my three first cash-ins. IT WILL TAKE A WHILE.) Additionally, you may allow collabs between unedited and edited colourists if you wish.
I can only let one person win (or two with a twin concept/breeding) Sorry, I'd love to buy things for everyone if I could, but I only have so many credits and can only cash-in one thing per month. This will take up my March cash-in slot already <3 If multiple concepts really appeal to me, I may save up and surprise you with them in the future. Additionally, I'd really love to run things like this again in the future, so keep your eyes peeled! Just because you don't win this time doesn't mean I don't have my eye on you 8D

This isn't a "throw concepts at Phail in the hope that one of them sticks with what she likes", this is a "I really want this one thing for certain reasons, and I want to explain that to Phail and hope she understands why I really really want this one thing."

People on custom cooldowns cannot enter for customs. Sorry, but shop rules are shop rules! I cannot buy you a custom if you are already on a custom cooldown. Be careful with twin entries. If you are entering a concept to get twins for yourself and another person, neither of you can be on custom cooldown. Don't worry, you can still try out for other things like breedings, custom items, familiars etc... And I'll be running something like this again in the future, so just be happy you already won your custom slot and look forward to the future ^.^ Additionally, soquili on breeding cooldowns cannot be entered for a breeding, obviously.
Two people may post the same twin concept/breeding form. I'll be judging each post individually, but you are both free to enter the same custom form if you are both actively questing for it! <3

How many Soquili do you own? I've been an active part of Soquili for over 10 years now. I don't keep a solid count, and I haven't updated my teepee in a bit, but its safely over 100. Have you ever worked for Soquili in the past? Briefly, back in 2006, long before edits or credits were allowed. Has a staff member ever bought you a breeding before? Yes, when my wife (Sabin) was on staff she would use her credits on breedings occasionally. I've also had a few staffers use SC on breedings before. Has a staff member every bought you a custom before? Sabin bought me a few with her credits.
Have you ever been gifted a basket before? Yes, several. (though, I've given away over three times more baskets than I've ever gotten) Have you ever won a basket contest before? No, When was the last time you won a breeding? I won an unedited breeding in November How many times have you won a breeding? Over the course of 10 years? I don't even have any clue.. When was the last time you won a custom? I won unedited customs in Oct of 2014. How many times have you won a custom slot? Outside of bribes and SC, I think only 2 or 3 times over 10 years. Why do you want this concept? Over the past couple of years, I've been steadily working on becoming a "Professional" fangirl of Marvel. I make crafts, cosplay, run a blog, write fanfiction, do cosplay photography, and report at conventions. Oh, and I've even been lucky enough to be asked by the Huffington Post to be part of an interview with Frank Grillo (Crossbones/Brock Rumlow) (check me out at 21:15).
Captain America is obviously my character of choice, and Captain America: The Winter Soldier is my favorite movie. My wife and I do this as a couple and we bond over it so much. We roleplay together, write together, cosplay together, and currently working on traveling together to meet as many of the CATWS cast as we can.

Why do you want this concept? This will be my beloved Midori's mum. She's a gigantic focal point in Midori's plots and history, and I've kind of been waiting for bribes and stuff to enter her, both because the edit categories in customs generally aren't high enough, and also because I want someone to be able to pick her that feels comfortable with her wing situation. I know not everyone's super fond/comfortable with such detailed wings and such. ;-; BUT, a little bit of back story for you! =D Mother had a bit of a fling with the dastardly devious Haborym, which led to the birth of Midori and her two siblings. If you know anything about Haborym's plots and such, you'll know that he hunted down and killed as many of his non-sanctioned, impure children as he could find. Some mothers were caught off guard, while others, such as Midori's fought back. And damn did she put up a good fight. Such a good fight, in fact, that Haborym chose to let the mare and the one offspring he hadn't yet killed, live. Midori was left relatively unharmed, but Mother was battered, bleeding, and close to death. One of her wings was severely broken, her legs could not support her for quite some time, and though it seemed all odds were against her, she somehow survived. However, at this point, Midori's and her Mother's roles were reversed. While too young to understand why the attack had happened, was old enough to understand that her mother needed help. With little direction, she nursed her back to health as best as a foal could, learning more and more about caring for others as she grew. After the attack, Mother was no longer vocal. She did not speak, but she and her daughter had little signals for communicating. However, after quite some time of being cared for, Mother decided that she needed to sacrifice for her daughter. She would not and could not allow Midori to care for her for the rest of her adult life, and made the hardest decision a mother could make. In the middle of the night, Mother struggled to her feet and left. Midori was heartbroken upon awaking to her empty cave, and searched for the mare who'd given her so much for quite some time. The orphaned adult became manic, feeling as though she lacked purpose in life, until she came to the Soquili lands and experienced motherhood for the first time. Now, she has this aching need to constantly be caring for someone, perhaps to fill the void that came when Mother left. Every girl needs her momma, okay?! T_____T

Her eyes should be a cold, distant blue/grey. Some scars on her face, but preferably not many, as she blocked most of those blows with her wing. I'd also like for her to have a solemn expression. Mane: Sleek and long. Should be touching the ground. Should look unkempt, as she cannot take care of herself. Feel free to throw twigs and leaves in there. Tail: I want a long, sleek tail. It should be obviously unkempt. With Mother being alone and unable to care for herself both due to her physical disability and her mental state, she wouldn't be preening a whole lot. It drags along the ground, and is very disarrayed. The feathers, while sleek and black toward the top, often times get caught on bushes and such. So it could either be disarrayed or smooth-looking. Whichever you would like to color more. She's never had any healing or help with her wing, so it could be bleeding/scabby where it drags if you'd like. IF you're feeling up to doing a custom back wing as well, that'd be fantastic. Otherwise, I'm very fond of heron wings. Other Notes: I would like a wingless version, please! I would also like a version with no scars if allowed for breeding purposes, but definitely not mandatory.

Why do you want this concept? Okay honestly. She's a mutant Soq. My chances of getting her anywhere else are slim. At least in my mind. I've never won a custom or breeding in this shop so I thought "What the heck..." and she sorta smacked me with a pillow demanding I at least try so. Here it is. My attempt. The Concept is my oldest Female OC a wolf demon who loves kids. I would go into her whole life story here but that's not the point. The point is. I adore her. I already have her in pet form in another shop but would love to have her here in order to spread the wolf gene >D
If you honestly want her story I'll give you the short of it. She's apart of a set of twins [i'll custom her sister at a different point most likely] as the youngest of 9 children. Parents are okay...she and her mother have issues but what parent doesn't. ICly she's gone through three different partners all as bad as the last [which is how i generally wanted to have her go here...from bad guy to worse guy.] She has kids. She's a mom, sibling, child, aunt, grandmother [in one story xD], cousin, neice...everything in the book practically. And now...she wants to be a pony...

That really depends, if you are a merciful deity who prefers libations of good drink and food, a party in your honor, favored wines and liquors doused on the flames of your pyre as a feasting for the eyes dances and twirls of gypsy ladies. Jovial songs round your fires of sacrifice, only the most joyous of songs for you will do.
If you are a Morbid deity perhaps burning an altar with the hair of one who's been a devout worshiper of the macabre.
If it is a thing that I own, that must be sacrificed, I've a bottle of interesting wine called Gothique, or perhaps one of my darling little skull beads. Hand carved gift from my best friend.

Why do you want this concept? With this breeding that for several years I could not enter in until more recently, I will be able to move forward and have long standing plots where the mare in question reunites with their beloved and finds that as they were parted he searched for her, always keeping hope that she would return. Then there's the misconception of her brother being the father of the foals and a whole billion thing process that just goes on.
It does end with a happy ending but not without the work and time put in to have them come together again.
This was actually the very first story that a friend who pulled me into soquili and I put together in trying to make sure they have most of their breedings together. (Via plots the stallion she's been head over heels for had a fling and found that though he was fond of the mother as a friend there was no deep connection. This being AFTER Alinea (my mare) had fled with a very broken heart over hearing that he'd fathered foals with another. Totally classic terrible Rom-Com for a very troubled soul.
I could go on forever on this, and I...oh dear. I'll just shuffle the rest of this off on the side.
