competitive Ku wants to be the best at everything. As far as she’s concerned, anything short of best is a failure, and she’ll never let anyone tell her otherwise. She’s as cut-throat a competitor as a young girl can be -- in races she’ll push over her sisters as she passes, in competitions of skill she’ll do what she can to sabotage their efforts. She doesn’t believe in fair play. A victory is a victory no matter the means.
callous Ku’s been raised to think that she’s superior, and she acts like it. She sees other people’s weaknesses as shortcomings -- something they should try and shake off as quickly as possible. So, she’s never been the kind to support anyone in their time of need -- be they physically injured, heartbroken, or just plain down. She’s the same way about any injury she’s caused to someone, both physical and emotional. She seems to feel no remorse, and certainly no sympathy.
romantic Despite her harsh character, Ku is a romantic at heart. She loves stories about heroes, fated events and epic quests. Right now, her head is filled with the alkidikes’ stories, within which she fantasizes that she has a singular and important role to play. In the future, as she encounters other beings, her love for legends and heroics may be the one way to break through her xenophobic shell.

Ku came from the first flowers of Elzira, and has spent all her life so far in Zinris under the close watch of her mothers. As soon as she was able to walk, run and speak, she has been bold, brash and determined to be the best of her sisters. Although she understands that Yael is not her mothers’ native homeland, she feels comfortable there, and takes every opportunity to run amongst the rocks, caves and streams (always under an alkidike’s watchful eye). Although usually restless and active, she loves stories more than anything, and always listens with rapt attention whenever the Matron speaks. The grand words and speeches about her special, chosen place in the world fascinate her -- she believes every word without question.

Ku is confident, bold and brash. She's showy and she loves attention! She'll never back down from a fight and wants nothing more than to bring home an impressive trophy, but the girl also has a definite creative streak. Her made-up fairytales are a hit with all the other youngins, especially because they are super-gory.
