You may nominate on these awards, but you can only become eligible to vote on these awards/win these awards within five months of activity. (this does NOT include 'lurking', you need to be actively competing in guilds) Too many people come along and win awards who've barely done anything compared to other people who've been around all year.
We're only taking nominations from December 2015-November 2016 Right now, only Promo, Match, OMG, WTF, Mark-Out, Best Show moments are eligible for voting, though anytime after July 7th, 2016 you may vote on the other categories
As per usual here are your previous categories:
Superstar of The Year: The best overall character in all of gaia wrestling, face/heel it doesn't matter what their alignment is, what matters is that their work stood heads above everyone else.
Face of The Year: To be nominated you'd have to be an extensive face throughout the year in one guild, but pretty much the fan favorite, whether comedic, dominant, uber babyface, serious or otherwise. The guy you cheer for!
Heel of The Year: The no good dirty rotten rascal, the one you want to boo, but feel compelled by their antics. You don't want to see them succeed, you know what I'm talking about. To qualify you have to be an extensive heel in at lest one guild
Women's Wrestler of the Year: Replacing 'Diva' of the year, this is THE Women's wrestler of the year, the top diva, woman of honor, vixen, knockout, femme fatale, they look gorgeous, they kick a**, they take names, or they prance around like models. Whatever, this one is for the ladies out there! You have to have been around in at least more than one guild, and been round for the majority of the year to qualify
Rookie of The Year: To qualify for this award, you must be a completely newcomer to the gaia wrestling scene, and have started AFTER BitB 2015..
RPer of The Year: -The- Writer whom you thought exemplified what you believe embodies the best work all around, that person certainly needs to have been around the majority of the year to qualify
New Character of The Year: This one's for the rookie characters that are in the hands of true veterans. The ones that prove that even when they put their main character aside, the one we know them for, they can 'wow' us in new ways. For this one, they must have debuted AFTER the BiTB 2014.
Tag Team of the Year Whom you voted for as the best tag team of the year, mini tag teams within stables can be listed here if applicable.
Faction of The Year: Whom you voted for as best faction of the year.
Match of The Year: High impacts, tense cliffhangers, story-driven emotion, and tons of spots. Or, the match that just really hit a home run for you. This one is for the match that went above and beyond, and really showed off what the people involved could do.
Promo of The Year: Promos are our bread and butter. We love 'em and they are the basis of all storylines. This one's for the promo that really got you engaged into a story and blew you away with the execution. Chemistry, spots, and overall well-written work is what this one heralds.
OMG Moment of The Year: Sometimes, promos and matches aren't always the best, but there's a particular moment in them that blows you away. The rest was okay, but this one moment... it was legendary. The OMG Moment of The Year is just that. Whether it's a small promo spot that really just hit it home, or a spot in a match that made the entire thing worth reading. Or, anything else that might fit this category. I leave it to your creativity to decide what goes here!
What the ******** is this ******** s**t award Formerly the 'WTF' award, this is for those moments that make us facepalm, that make us head desk, those moments where we scratch our head and go 'What the ******** is this s**t'. Is it strange? Is it off? That's up to you to decide!
Storyline of The Year: This one isn't for the longest story, but for the one that really blew people away. It could've lasted a few shows or not even make it passed one Pay-per-view, but if it's one that you really got engaged in all around, it belongs here.
Guild of The Year: To qualify for guild of the year, a guild must have been actively running for 7 months. After all can't have a guild open up, close within the same year but still win. Regardless, it's the guild that you loved to compete in above all else. Where you have the most fun, where you feel like you've succeeded the most, so on and so forth.
Biggest Flop of The Year: he flops. The screw-ups. The failed hype. The poor execution. This one is all about things that could've been, should've been, and would've been better, but fell short completely. Whether it's a character, tag team, match, promo, debut, card, guild, anything. Anything that had hype or you thought was gonna impress you that just fell incredibly short.
Newly added
Most Improved Award I initially made this award last year, and got good reviews on it. Pretty much it could be any number of things, your writings vastly improved, your attitude, your match quality, etc. Something about you stood out positively this year opposed to last year!
Mark Out Moment of the Year Award This is the moment where you forget about everything and become generally excited for something you never saw coming. It could be a special return, it could be a unique finish, it could be a feel good moment. Use your imagination!
Best for Business Award This is more of an out of character award, given to a community member that's shown that special quality that makes the community worth coming to, whether it's helping behind the scenes, being an overall awesome person, or showing a special kind of fairness. This is not to be confused with the 'RPer of the Year' award, this is more of what someone does outside the community.
Best all around show What's a presentation without showmanship, this award is for the PPVs, the specials, the syndicated shows, whatever. Sometimes when you have 'the' perfect card, and everything falls in place and all the stars align, and that moment is magical? That is a perfect show, that is what this award exemplifies.
Manager of the Year There have been some great managers over the year, but none have really been awarded anything. Yes it IS a manager's job to hype their client, but at the same time the RIGHT manager can make anything, anyone look like a million bucks, and this award is for them!
Shockmaster Moment of the Year Essentially the 'Fail' moment of the year, you know what we're talking about here.

Nomination for the 'What the ******** is this ******** s**t award' WWFG Legacies #13: 6 Women Tag Team MatchWhere else can you find attempted 720 Hurricaranas, Victory Roll Ups from Sit Out Powerbombs, and excessive whining and complaining, who else but Jamie Kym of course! Essentially it's a forced pairing between Jessie Lee, Wylde Rose and Eliza Monterio versus three of Kym's 'questionable' characters, and by questionable she essentially plays the same characters, whose gender is questionable. The former three, have no reason to team together, and are only really together because no one wants to face Kym, and most have her blocked. So it does speak wonders on how bad Kym actually is. However it wouldn't be a Jamie Kym match without the typical insane counter-counter-counters, and complaints when told she can't do those moves, despite her claims that she can without providing footage of said things. It's frustrating to read, and I suspect even more frustrating to actually be in the match to deal with it. It might be a bit early to go out on a limb but this just might take the cake for this year... Of course... I could be wrong...

At this point in time I have a few things to look out for rather than nominations, perhaps they become nominations later after more time! I'm enjoying all the interactions between characters in WWFG! Hiro, Freakshow, Chrono, Nuke and Bad Boy have something good going on there! smile I notice the Sinister Syndicate in WWFG, perhaps I missed how they formed and why while I was away! They first appeared at War Games and by the next show they have control of Freakshow! surprised It looks like SS will have a big part to play in future WWFG storylines! I would also like to highlight Omega, who I think I've always had good chemistry with! If he can keep active in EWA for a storyline we're working on, I hope it'll be something quite enjoyable! The Guild of The Year award may have some new competition in the form of Blood Sport Wrestling, a new promotion, and the return of Coliseum Wrestling Association after a long absence! Both are hoping to become the third biggest G-Fed so it will be interesting to see how both grow over the year! May the best show win!

I suppose this counts as a What the ******** is this ******** s**t award ! All I wanted was a reply from Salem, the then owner and still on-screen GM of Blood Sport Wrestling, when instead I got this! eek By the way I'm still waiting for that reply that he said he would give to me WEEKS ago now! Should I worry about BSWs future now?! A second show was meant to be posted yesterday but I see nothing! =) Mark Out Moment of the Year AwardA certain storm appearing in WWF:G via video promo!

I could agree that it's certainly deserving of a What the ******** is this ******** s**t award, if I mean.. He hasn't done this constantly, he did it to you in EWA prior too.
I honestly can't answer that worrying about BSW's future, it is in the hands of a new owner, but their track record with guild managing is on par with BSW's previous owner...

A VC doing their job is a shock master? I may as well nominate this for shockmaster. On second thought, Flop works much better here.

Freakshow vs Hiro Shin-MozasI really like this match. Freakshow and Hiro put on a pretty damn good show together. Their story is something that keeps you on the edge of your seat, and even if you're just checking it out by reading this single match, it's a ******** awesome read. I dunno where their story is going, but you can bet that I'm hooked the whole way. It's also nice to see how far Hiro has come in recent years. Just about 2 years ago, the guy was so desperate to get over that he was attempting to win titles behind people's backs. Now? The guy can easily put on a 5-star match and put some real emotion into it. Freakshow is just amazing.

No, it's an abuse of power He gave that warning, and applied that anything 'after' that post would be subject to punishment. I had not posted after that post, I got punished by elimination. That's an abuse of power, it's not doing his job. And there's no 'Flop of the Year' this year.
