WWFG's Latest episode of 'Legacies' that rang in the new year after the 'Wargames'.
Coming down the ramp dressed in street clothes, was the Entity of Time, Chrono Clepsydra. Adorning on his shoulders was the WWFG Hardcore Championship, along with another title. No doubt to be explained. His shirt said 'Chrono was Right' on it. The back of it had Chrono's smirking face giving the 'Fonz' point on the pack
Entering the ring, to a mixed reaction. While it was standard to boo the heel, and Chrono was most certainly 'the' heel, they cheered because of his performance at WWFG 'Wargames'.
Taking a mic, soaking in the moment, Chrono gave a brief moment until he spoke again. 'You know... I've got a few things I need to say...' he spoke holding up the WWFG Hardcore Championship. 'Before I start, I want everyone to know something. This isn't the 'God of Time' talking, this isn't The Entity, Malice, Poison Ivan or any of my other monikers, hell. This isn't even Chrono talking to you, for the duration of this, you can call me Crow, and I'm going to lay some truth upon you, and those that are in the know, know I'm keeping it real if I'm using 'that' name...'
Another momentary pause, he took another glance at the Hardcore Championship he held. 'You know something, they called this a 'Throw-away title', and they devalued it because it was never given the chance to shine. Maybe they're right... Maybe it was this whole 'open challenge' thing. Could be the caliber of matches that had disappointment after disappointment.. Until Harli and I tore the house down... Or Maybe.. Just maybe.. it was just the caliber of people gunning for this so called 'worthless championship'... It could be that on any given day, some no talent hack could hit someone in the back of the head with a weapon, and pin a great defending champion, with no effort at all. Who knows, who cares. I've always been a part of WWFG, in one way or the other. I'm the longest reigning Intercontinental Champion of all time. I'm a former Undisputed Champion, a general manager, I'm a hall of famer. I've done more for this company than anyone will ever realize. But that's all in the past, but this..."
Crow spoke, as he held up the other championship that adorned his other shoulder. 'Is it just me, or has hardcore wrestling.... Died. Or rather in various places... Especially here... Maybe WWFG deserves something better, a better caliber of matches... A better championship. A better champion...Something pure...'
Tapping the championship, Crow paused. The crowd cheering. 'I thought you might agree, after all. You're used to seeing a lot from WWFG, but this past year... The talent you've gotten, the matches you've gotten used to seeing... You deserve better. You deserve talent that stayed, top name talent. Talent that makes you believe in wrestling once again. This is the WWFG Pure Championship..."
The Crowd was in an uproar, the camera guy zoomed in on the new championship as it was shown on the tron much to the chagrin of the audience, the commentators making note about it.
"Now before some official commissioner or the new owners or whomever decides to not sanctify this, or disagree with what I have to say. I want you to stop right there. I want you to listen... I want you to contemplate exactly what I'm saying... Regardless of what you think, this is best for business as they say. I am known for many, many things throughout the history of WWFG, even more in the history of Gaia wrestling. I am the single most decorated champion of ALL time, and it's not a moniker. It's an undisputed fact. Does that mean I'm entitled to anything? Does that mean that I am 'the best', No. Does that mean a damn thing in the grand scheme of things, except for one thing. I 'know' wrestling.
Oh sure I've been in softcore...hardcore, death matches, dream matches, every match type of match. Regardless. It's not the championship that makes the man, it's the man or woman... That makes the championship. And THIS is a championship...'
Holding the title up once more, he spun around slowly so the crowd could get a look at it. He paused, and collected his thoughts for a brief second.
'So to whomever is in charge.. I propose this. I already know you want to well.. Throw away the 'Throw away title', We use 'this' instead. The rules I've already proposed and sent to the offices, but from the Royal Rumble until Wrestlemania, you have a contest, or at tournament everyone fighting under 'Pure' rules, where the winner faces... Myself. For this WWFG Pure Championship. After all, if I have to give something up, I'm going to make someone earn this. But until then I'm holding on to this, and proclaiming myself the WWFG Pure Champion until we have someone to face me at Wrestlemania, that's earned it. Recognize me as the champion... Or not, it matters not. But I'm keeping the Hardcore Championship in my possession too. Wouldn't want some loser to pick it up and proclaim themselves the champion without doing a damn thing. Fair enough no?"
Chrono spoke as he held up both championships, as the proclamation of this 'Pure' Championship, resonated within everyone's mind. Legacies went to commercial break.
