I've never found MAD parodies to be funny. Basically they just rip apart the show and don't try to come up with anything witty. I remember reading the one for Pirates of the Carribean and thinking, 'This is the best crap they can come up with?' I'm not even insulted by their insults because it's all too retarded (I'm sorry, I want to use this word as it means, 'slow in development/backward' not in the common derogatory sense) to take seriously. I mean, they say the books are bad (Oooo, I'm offended), but clearly they're not, since most of them ended up being the number on selling book in America at some point, Emily Browning clearly wasn't all slutted up in the film, and that was just a cheap shot at the end when they make fun of Daniel Handler's appearance. I find that MAD tries too hard to be offensive because they know contriversial stuff sells.

MAD usually makes me laugh really hard, but these are just like.. stupid. It's like some weird person with a group of people, and they try to say something funny and wind up being the only one to laugh at the joke.

I find this quite revolting, actually. Just not my sense of humor, I guess.

Huh. Yeah, not funny. Not that I am insulted or anything even, it just wasn't that funny. MAD used to have better writers, I think.

Kipluck Huh. Yeah, not funny. Not that I am insulted or anything even, it just wasn't that funny. MAD used to have better writers, I think. Well, they probably have different writers do different spoofs because I've read some of the recent ones and they've been funny. Maybe the writer just had a bad day, could you imagine having to think up ideas for all those spoofs? mad It would be so exhausting! Yeah, sometimes it might be fun but, like in newspapers and magazines, etc. they have to have things in by a certain deadline. You never know, the writer might have been up at two am, at that time I would find anything funny!
