Having awoken just recently after a wary night of sleep, Sin wasn't exactly sure if venturing out into the fog was a good idea. With no coordinates, and no portal or exit -- it gave them no place to go.
Leaving his survivor at the bottom of the car pile, Sin was sitting atop the car pile to look out for any further enemies. For the moment, his weapon was unactivated because of their lack of enemies. His high vantage point gave him a view of everything that were in their immediate surroundings. Unfortunately it wasn't a very far view because of the obscuring fog. Perhaps 5-10 meters depending on the density of the fog when it varied. But it was enough time for him to react.
He also kept an eye out for not only enemies but other hunters and halloween denizens.

Going into the fog while on your own and without an option for taking care of your civilian was an even worse idea, though it wasn't like Gale could talk. His own civilian was currently tucked away in the Jeep that sat just a short distance away, because continuing to carry him seemed endlessly frustrating.
And up ahead, he saw a white coat - a hunter coat. More importantly, it was someone at least semi-familiar now: Sin, Kat and Ryan's friend that he'd only briefly met before.
"Hey," said Gale, taking a step towards him, holding his rifle at his side. "You doing okay?"
Except apparently he wasn't going to get an answer first, because something came lurching out of the distance towards him, swinging massive arms towards them.
Gale fired off the first shot, looking annoyed.

He spotted the other hunter quickly. Any familiar hunter was a good sight for sore eyes, as Sin was beginning to feel overwhelmed in the fog. But there was.. something else, wasn't there? His singular eye peered to look closer, even more so because it was Gale. Something large was moving throughout the shadows? Thankfully, his senior hunter realized it quickly. The dark shape manifested itself a few seconds after Gale asked about Sin's status. Activating his weapon quickly and without hesitation, he jumped downwards from his perch, using the other cars on his way periodically down to break his fall. From above, he came down with a slice upon its dark form.
He hadn't thought to check it earlier when Ryan faced off with it, but a battle that consisted solely of one enemy and two hunters gave him more time to scrutinize the enemy. Two heads, three hands, two feet – clearly the infection was not fond of symmetry or math.
"I think the better question is, are you okay?" He stepped in front of Gale, silently conveying to the other hunter that he would take it on in close combat while Gale would have time and distance to shoot it with his rifle. He blocked an returning attack, only flinching slightly from the attack, but held his ground. "Let's have a nice conversation when we defeat this monster, okay? Some monsters these days, having no table manners." Which was a joke really, since Sin was also the last person to know about table manners and politeness and etiquette. But hey, he wasn't the type to kill somebody for not being included.

What Sin probably didn't know, unless he was looking particularly close, was that between the two of them, they had about two and a half functioning eyes. Gale's left eye would never be the same, slightly milky in its amber coloration, the vision permanently blurred, though not gone entirely. Still, he still had his most dominant eye just fine, which was all he needed to shoot, since he closed one eye anyway when targeting.
"I'm fine," said Gale, appreciating Sin's gesture as he took several steps back to gain more distance. He flipped the rifle into place, hoisting it up onto his shoulder, and squinted through the lens, eyes narrowed to focus more properly. The other hunter was doing quite well, he thought; that sword was doing good damage on its own.
"I'd much rather converse with you than take on this thing," Gale agreed dryly, as he fired; but the creature staggered out of the way just in time, Gale swearing in annoyance.

"Haha, I'm feeling flattered!" Sin called over. Though he wasn't used to the presence of guns behind him, Kat and Gale were proving to have excellent aim so Sin wasn't worried they would kill him from behind. Though it must have been hard with the fog, and Sin had a lot more respect for the handicapped long ranged fighters.
The monster dodged his next slice, so it didn't damage him as much."Tch." Sin muttered to himself, wishing that it would just disappear already. At least it wasn't a body double like the last time. Having two of the same person running around wasn't very fun and to boot, it was dangerous. What if they were mistaken for each other and Sin ended up being attacked by his fellow hunters? Or Halloween denizens? He didn't need double the enemy, thank you very much.
