Chel continued scouting the area, this time in what looked like an abandoned base. She supposed in the zombie apocalypse there would end up being looters and bandits. Honestly, she'd probably be one of them.
Then another shadow clone appeared and Chel said, "Aw s**t." Her bow was summoned nonetheless; Chel wasn't the type to run from a fight.

Ignatius was mostly just wandering around because he had a lot of nervous energy, and the portals were nowhere to be found yet. That was okay, though. This was probably the longest time yet he had spent in the human world.

"Hey man!" she called to him, waving frantically. "Or her. Not really sure what you are." Halloween was very strange with their genders, she'd learned. "Need some help?"
Her clone was still bumbling around behind her, but she took the time to shoot out his attacker instead.
"Man's correct, don't worry," Ignatius laughed, concentrating some electricity into his hands. While he didn't need help, he certainly wouldn't reject the offer, if only so he could observe this woman a bit more. Why did she seem so friendly?
"Yeah, sure! We can focus on that thing you got behind you after."

Teamwork was right. A Hunter and someone from Halloween working together... Ignatius attempted to blast the shadowling again, but he was clearly too distracted by his own thoughts to hit effectively.

Thankfully, they were teamworking quite effectively, and Ignatius shouted a, "I got it, focus on the clone!" as he blasted the blighted shadow once again. Unlike last time, he actually focused on his target and destroyed it, the undying sparking before disintegrating.

Ignatius swept in when she got knocked back and attempted to knock the clone back in turn, but it failed. Well, not entirely, but almost entirely. Of course, the clone retaliated and jabbed him in the arm with an arrow.

Ignatius shook out his arm, laughing. Despite how harsh it might have seemed, he seemed rather confident when asked about it. "I'm fine! Takes a bit more than a shadow clone arrow to bring me down."
Whether that was overconfidence or actual truth was yet to be determined, though he certainly finished that statement with a flourish of hitting the clone with some more lightning.

"I got this!" screamed Ignatius, because getting the attention of the clone when launching an attack was a great idea. It was unfortunately too crafty for him, and somehow managed to dodge what Ignatius had thought to be a perfect shot.
