Alex poked his ribs thoughtfully. They didn't even hurt anymore, and the soreness had faded as if a distant memory! Was it cause of the vines? The magical eye? The fact they were living a video game zombie movie? he wondered.
It meant though, that he could stop harassing Brie, and using her as a crutch. Even if he really liked her. Or using her as a crutch. Touching he supposed. How long had it been for a human touch?
he rubbed his eyes next and tried to stop thinking of the maroon haired girl. Zombies and romance were asking for trouble, after all. It only worked out in Walking Dead for so long.
He was looking up at the night sky when the fireworks exploded. How long had it been? Only a month...felt like a year. He waited for undead to move, crawl themselves to the casino. But they didn't.
He got up instead, moved for them. Heading towards the bright lights and sounds. Inside. That's all he wanted. Inside.

Bright lights where hard to ignore and walking in felt like, well....Sensory overload. Alex had gotten use to board games, and fake money. having some now felt...wrong. Weird. All the machines with their sounds and their rings and chirps called out. But Alex chose to do nothing.

Alex got super light headed. It went dark again but...He could feel chairs. Demands.
"Woman." He croaked out, looking at her. It was the wrong choice. She was cut up, he could still hear her screams. He could see the blood and the packaging.
He thought of Brie and waited for them to dump him back in the Casino. Once he was there, he shuddered. He needed to get her and Sho out first.
