Absolutely horrified by the experience she and Alex had encountered at the Staples store, she had refused to leave his side since. Anyone who knew Brie well enough, knew she was definitely not cut out for handling undying or.. whatever that was.
Now they were headed towards the radio tower. If lucky, they might be able to contact someone, or at least find out more information. Anything, as long as it wasn't another undying or giant red eye.

Alex made sure to keep a close eye on Brie, since the encounter with ******** lord of the rings eye, he felt on edge.
As if he was in Mordor or something. Being hunted by orcs and s**t. It was not pleasant at all and he didn't enjoy it. Luckily though, he managed to move his stuff closer to Brie's room in case the same s**t happened again.
As the weeks went on, he was finding Brie to the more companionably type.
Their next quest led them to a radio tower and Alex waved his hands at it. He had no clue how to work these things but...he'd make something happen.
Or something....

The connection of wires was made eventually and he played with the dial, listening out for anyone. With Brie's hard of hearing, he wasn't sure if she would catch-wait..voices?
"Don't listen to who? Thorns? Spread? Wait, hey!" he banged his hand down on the radio, "Who won't let us leave?!?"

Sho regrouped with Brie and Alex at the outskirts of the radio tower, since they all had the same intentions. "Yo." He waved to them with his single useful arm as he followed, clearly unaware of what they had encountered earlier. To be honest, everything that Sho had encountered was 'fairly normal' so far.
They seemed ... to be on edge, Sho observed. Warier, cautious.. fearful? Had something happened to them?
Following Alex into the radio tower, she continued to rub at her ears, as if they might suddenly picking up sounds again. She could just make out the sound of something over the radio as Alex listened to it, but whatever it was, was not audible enough for her to hear.
Spotting Sho as he arrived, Brie waved her arms madly around to get his attention, before pointing towards the radio. Before Sho would even be able to react, she held out the notepad and pen she had 'borrowed' from STAPLES for the good doctor to take. Clearly, she wanted him to write down everything they could hear.

Sho was beckoned over by Brie, who seemed to be suffering temporary hearing loss from the grenade. Putting a reassuring hand on her shoulde,r he gently moved her out of the way and leaned in closer to the radio. It was already difficult to hear when your hearing wasn't impaired, and he quickly quickly scribbled down what he heard-
"- supplies shipped in daily. We try to do it from the air but we don't have many choppers left. They will dwindle after a while. --- seven days --- then ----" It cuts off.
When he tried to readjust it to see if he could gather more information, he only received further static on his end. However despite his lack of results, Brie and Alex clearly had information. And that in itself was valuable.
Meanwhile, Alex on the other end was banging at his console. With several long strides, Sho was there besides the man. Hitting Alex lightly on the back of his head, Sho immediately knelt down to assess Alex's expression. "Alex, calm down. Tell us, what did you hear?" He needed to record it to write it down for Brie to know as well.

Alex repeated as much as he could to Sho. Wincing at the hit on his head. Why Sho why...

Sho wrote down what Alex's said, quickly showing it over to his shoulder to Brie. he had already begun to make notes, trying to connect the dots. Written on another sheet was:
Seven Days.
Higher Master?
Undying.
Thorns.
He already had a bad feeling.. they knew their days were numbered, but what exactly was happening?

Peering at the words written and shown to her by Sho, looked at both boys with a concerned gaze. What the hell were they in for?
