Dekana, fresh from his successful egg trips, had been asked to look for Mistentoe but only given a vague description of the herb. Apparently one had to taste it to be sure.
Thus, he set out and immediately upon finding a patch of potential herbs, tasted it. The extreme bitterness was off-putting and definitely not the right type... when he was about the move on, however, he began to shrink and world became massive.
The grass was as tall as, if not taller then, him and the insects that scrabbled around were actual threats. Hopping about, he rather hoped someone would happen by to help him out - he still wanted the Mistentoe but at his size, moving across this field, let alone the area, was going to take ages!

It was somewhat surprising how many demands the villagers had. The Conquest Horsewoman was starting to feel like her patience for them was getting thin. Whales... Eggs... Some random monster that only could see eyes. Fia was really starting to regret taking that walk.
The villagers convinced her to now find these special herbs. She had accepted before knowing that she had to taste the herbs in order to know that it was right or not. She grabbed a bit of what seemed to look right, but she didn't want to be the first. Fia watched as someone nearby took a bite of the herbs and... Disappeared?
Fia was worried about what she had in her hands, but took a nibble anyways. The herbs tumbled in her mouth and she swallowed. She blinked a few times and everything seemed okay? She made her way to where the other had shrunk and bent over to pick up the little one and offer her herbs. Maybe they would fix them?
"Are you okay sir? Please tell me how I can help. Do not want you hurt."
She dropped the herbs that were in one hand and looked at the mini-person in her other. Fia covered her mouth; she wasn't normal after all.

Dekana peered up at the other, blinking. She was so big! "Aah, don't eat this Mistentoe! It turns you small!" His voice was high squeaky because of the size and he jumped up and down in her palm, indicating the herbs he'd just consumed.
"If you wish to look for more, I'd appreciate that! At least until this wears off!" Dekana smiled hopefully, then pointed in a direction, "Perhaps that way?" He hadn't thought anything of her haiku statement, thinking that was just how she talked.
"That patch, perhaps?" He indicated what looked like a good patch just down the way.

Fia went to where the little guy pointed and sighed before trying. She chewed and swallowed. Everything seemed normal once again, but... It still didn't taste quite right.
She walked carefully to the next zone and looked a patch. The Horsewoman really hoped this was the right patch. Fia picked some, chewed and swallowed. Almost in an instance, she grew to the size of the little guy she was carrying.
"What are we to do? Unless someone comes to us, We are stuck right here."

Kalden was 100% and absolutely sure that he could not POSSIBLY mess this up.
He was collecting herbs, for Jack's sake, and that meant that it was the most bland and menial of tasks. It did not involve herbs or trying to wrangle live creatures from the fog that they had been so happily ensconced in. No. No indeed. It might not have been the most fitting of tasks for someone of his physical and mental prowess, but hopefully it was at least achievable.
Oh hey, were those herbs?
Naturally he had to see what all the hype was about, and he nibbled at one curiously.
It took a moment, but...OH YES. He rumbled enthusiastically, flexing arms almost unconsciously. "OH NOW THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKIN' ABOUT!" He crowed delightedly.
No wonder they wanted a million of these herbs. He felt strength coursing through him...and looking down, he realized almost belatedly that there were tiny people down there. Hey... He squinted, leaning down, eyeballing Dekana primarily. That one looked familiar. Now he might have the strength to crush a thousand giant snakes just now, but he definitely hadn't grown to an enourmous height. "Oh man...what happened to you guys?" The boil and ghoul definitely didn't look delighted about their situation...and so he rather gingerly hefted them up in his hands, of course without asking permission, just so that he could actually SEE them without straining his vision.
Hopefully he didn't wind up looking like some kind of action figure like these unfortunate souls.

Dekana was well, unimpressed when the ghoul who was with him tried an herb that made her shrink as well. He sighed as she descended to his level and kicked a clump of dirt, "Well, welcome to the little-world I suppose."
The thunderous steps shook the ground and the shout from above nearly deafened him. Above, Kalden was talking on as he usually did, and hadn't actually noticed them yet. When he did though, they were hefted like toys into the other's hands.
"Small-making mistenhoe. I'd suggest avoiding it, and move on." Dekana pointed elsewhere, hoping he could at least keep the boy from shrinking too.
When he got to taste the new herb, Dekana wrinkled his brow - he'd tried this already! "Don't try this! DO NOT TASTE THIS!" Hopefully Kalden would hear him, "IT WILL SHRINK YOU!"

Fia was definitely getting tired of this. At least she had someone else that was 3 inches tall and not just her. She gave him a bow and introduced himself.
"Pleasure to meet you. I am Fia, Conquest Clan. What is your name, Sir?"
It wasn't long after the introduction that someone else came over and picked them up. She was glad that they would not be stepped on now. Fia made a mental note to thank the male for the help later; she didn't think he'd be able to hear her now.
She tugged the male's claw towards a patch of the herbs and motioned for her to try them. Fia hoped that they were right, but after her chew and swallow... She floated into the air! Gladly, she had still been gripping the claw.
Great... The Horsewoman was now talking in Haiku, 3 inches tall, and floating...
