"One Island, also known as Knot Island, is the first island in the Sevii Islands archipelago, and is located northwest of all the islands. Knot Island is an isolated little place, and most of the younger people living on the island are eager to leave for big cities, but they certainly will be back for this Tanabata! The aroma of the islander's cooking wafts in from every direction it feels like, and even Bill is here visiting the Island's extensive Pokemon Center with his good friend Celio. One Island has certainly spared no expense for this years festival; islanders are raving, advertising, and encouraging visitors to be sure and stop by Treasure Beach by nightfall for a fantastic fireworks display! Treasure Beach is a small island south of the town, where valuable items, such as Big Pearls and Stardust, occasionally wash up.
There are of course plenty of games to keep you occupied in the meantime, and Mount Ember, ever the tourist attraction, is a fun area to explore and train while you wait. Mt. Ember is an enormous volcano at the very north tip of the island, but not to worry! The volcano has been inactive for quite some time now, and it is reachable via a path known as Kindle Road, which is popular for its hot springs. Although believed to be inactive, the tunnels beneath the volcano are still warm with geothermic energy that attracts Fire-type Pokémon and keeps these hot springs warm. The hot springs on Kindle Road can restore energy to Pokémon, but it's great for trainers too! In fact, it is said to be the secret to the islander's long vitality."

Each type of game can only be played once per day, and are available on each of the Sevii Islands. To play a game, use the RNG thread for your rolls and provide links in your post to the numbers you rolled.

Fishing: There are little water filled glass bowls set up on long benches, each bowl with various tiny aquatic pokemon inside of them. These pokemon are tiny, about the size of a quarter, and bred specifically to be household pets, but here they serve the purpose of being cute and fun to play with. Armed with a small net consisting of paper tied to a small wooden pole, your task is to capture one of these pokemon before the paper net dissolves!
You have many choices of fish pokemon to try and capture. The heavier the fish is, the harder it will be to catch, but the more tickets you could get if you do catch it! So choose wisely!
Lightweight Catches:
Lightweight pokemon such as Finneon, Magikarp, Squirtle, and Horsea are much easier to catch with a frail paper net, but because of this, the payout isn't quite as high. It's much less risky than the other options though.
Roll a d4, if you roll a 1, your paper net broke, and you get 1 ticket as a consolation prize, but if you roll a 2-4, you've caught your pokemon and win 2 tickets!
Medium Weight Catches:
The medium weight category pokemon are slightly heavier than the lightweight pokemon, which means a paper net is more likely to break with this bunch. Medium weight aquatic pokemon would consist of pokemon including, but not limited to, Tirtouga, Whiscash, Huntail, and Frillish.
To try and scoop up one of these mini pokemon in your net, roll a d10. A roll of 1-6 means your net broke, but you get a consolation prize of 1 ticket. A 7-10 means you have successfully wrangled yourself up a tiny pokemon and earned yourself 5 tickets!
Heavy Weight Catches:
Don't be fooled by these pokemon's tiny appearances; they're heavy! Or at least they're heavier than a paper net can generally handle, but if you have the skills and a little bit of luck, you just might be able to handle scooping up some of these Octillery, Clamperl, or Mantyke to turn in for a whopping 10 tickets!
To attempt such a feat, roll a d6. Any numbers ranging between 1 and 4 means your net broke, but you still get a consolation prize of 1 ticket. If you happen to roll a 5 or a 6, you're in luck! You managed to catch these slightly heavier pokemon and can turn them in for your 10 ticket reward.
Wailmer Challenge:
Are you feeling lucky? Well this challenge is just for you! Wailmer are pretty heavy, even when they're small. It's near impossible to scoop them up in a paper net, but it can be done.
If you feel like you're willing and able to attempt this challenge, then roll a d20. Anything less than 20 gets you a broken net and one ticket as a consolation prize, but that's the risk, the reward for successfully rolling a 20 is a whopping 100 tickets!
Golden Magikarp Challenge:
Got bigger fish to fry than a Wailmer? Are you feeling like Lady Luck is blessing your every step? Does the chance at 1000 tickets catch your fancy? Well then this is the challenge for you! We have here a 20 karat solid gold Magikarp here for you to try and scoop out of a fishbowl with a paper net, but there's a catch!
You need to roll a d100, and happen to roll, that's right, a perfect 100. Getting anything less will earn you 1 measly ticket, but the reward for succeeding is 1000 tickets! Think you can do it? Give it a try!
Throwing Darts: Try and pop as many balloons pinned to a wall with ten darts as you can! Roll a 10 sided dice. The number you get is the number of balloons you pop! 1-3 is 2 tickets, 4-6 yields 4 tickets, and 7-10, 6 tickets!
Ring Toss: Toss a ring and try to hoop it over a moomoo milk bottle! You only get three rings, so make them count! Roll three 10 sided dice. A 6-10 means you successfully landed that ring over a bottle! 0-1 rings landed earns you 2 tickets, 2 rings earns you 5 tickets, and landing all 3 rings earns you a whopping 10 tickets!
Arcade Games: Play an arcade game of your choice and try to get a high score! Roll a 20 sided dice to see what your score is! 1-5 means you scored pretty low, but the machine pities you by giving you 1 ticket as consolation. a 6-13 means you got an okay score, but it could have been better, the machine gives you 3 tickets for a good effort. 14-19 means you got a great score! You get 7 tickets. Rolling a 20 means you just set a new high score! The islanders are somewhat jealous of your master skills. Your prize is 10 tickets (and gloating rights).
Fortune Wheel: Step right up and spin to win! Every number earns you tickets, but some numbers are luckier than others! Roll a 10 sided dice, the number you roll is the number of tickets you win!
It seemed like ages since they'd seen land. Somehow despite which direction they'd turned, there was nothing but ocean below them. Avikna leaned over Arietty's back, peering out over the ocean, barely able to keep her eyes open from the bright sun. Though her blurred vision, she swore she saw something off in the distance... a mountain? What that land? "Arietty." Avikna pointed. The lizard had already seen it. The smell of sulfur in the air also evident to a volcano nearby. The lizard was eager if anything to fly over the Volcano to see if it was active or not. though, the growling of both Avikna's stomach and her own told her maybe it would be best just to land instead.
Growing closer to the island, the sight of people huddling around what appeared to be a festival caught everyone's eyes. Where exactly where they? Spotting the Pokemon Center, Arietty floated down towards it, making the crowd of people part under her large figure. Slipping off, Avikna tested her balance on the ground, holding onto Arietty for support. The smells of festival foods reminded her quickly how hungry she was. Though upon closer inspection, the red-head's eyes actually grew. "Tanabata." 'Tanabata?' Mave questioned. Noticing Mave's grin, the red-head looked away, her scowl returning. "Its... it's just some festival." She replied, but she couldn't hide the sudden memories that popped up from the time she'd come to one long ago, way back before she started her first journey in Kanto. 'Just some festival,huh? Well, we could do with some relaxsation. Why not stick around?' Avikna didn't want to admit it, but... maybe it'd be a little fun. "Just for a day.... or two. Then we're heading back to Kalos." She replied, turning towards the Pokemon center. 'Uh the Festivities is that way." Mave motioned. "Yes, but if we're going to be here, might as well be traditional." The red head stated. Mave was rather confused by this statement, but decided to follow regardless.

Mave waited fairly impatiently as Avikna scrambled around the Pokemon center, secretly doing this and that. The woman purposely pushed out random thoughts about silly things to keep the wolf from pinpointing what she was doing. The most she picked up was something to do with clothing. When the red-head eventually revealed herself, the wolf-like Pokemon tilted her head. 'What... is that?" She asked. 'It's sort of like a Yukata, a traditional dress girls wear to this festival, but mines a bit shorter and certainly not walking around without pants on." The red-head stated, showing off the one sleeve she'd kept off. 'Why wouldn't you show off that picture of Ookoth?' Avikna stared down at Mave for a moment. That was the first time she'd heard Mave say something so.... naive. "It's not a picture of Ookoth, it's a tattoo, and it's of Rayquaza. I'm not showing it off.. because I just don't want to." She stated with a frown. Mave arched a brow, she caught Avikna's admitting she'd grabbed the wrong robe. She'd just reached for the first maroon coloured dress she could find. "Whatever, let's just get out there and enjoy ourselves." The red-head stated, rushing towards the front doors to the Pokemon Center. Mave shook her head, slowly following behind.
Outside, the crowd found it hard to walk around Mave, being a fairly large beast, she took up half the walkway with just her body, never mind the space her wings took, despite being tucked in as much as she could get them. Even still, no one seemed to mind squeezing in to get Mave. They were far to infatuated with trying to figure out what Mave was. Eventually Avikna stopped at one of the various game kiosks, crouching down to check out the small pool before her, various tiny Pokemon swimming about. It'd been so long since she'd done this. "Hello! Want to try your luck?" Asked the attendant. Avikna glanced up, her normal scowl replaced with a rare smile. The nostalgia she felt was getting to her head no doubt. Mave simply rolled her eyes and sat down next to her trainer, watching as the little fish swam about. "You get one try a day, so make it worth your while, no matter what you're garenteed to get at least one ticket." The attendant continued. He then handed down a small paper net, to which Avikna tested out between her fingers. She was no doubt rusty, so going for something big wasn't to smart an idea. Still, she didn't want to be weak and go for something easy either. Scooping out a slower moving Tirtouga, the red-head swung the net down, finding weight on the paper she pulled up, but nothing was on the paper, instead a small hole had broke through, leaving Avikna's scowl to return. "Ah, to bad. Better luck tomorrow! Here you are, one ticket." Standing up, Avikna wasn't about to be a sore loser, taking the ticket, rather roughly, she nodded and walked off. Mave chuckled some, following after her trainer.

Following along the various stalls, another game caught Avikna's attention. This one favored luck over skill, which was a bit more to Avikna's liking. Though, her luck hadn't proven very good over the past few months. It was still worth a try. So after a mild wait, the impatient woman stepped up and took her turn at spinning the wheel. "Alright, alright, alright." The attendent shouted. "What number do we have here?!" The wheel spun and spun, until finally it landed on a solid spot. Written in big black paint was an '8' "Eight tickets it is! Here you go, pretty lady." The attendant chuckled, handing over Avikna's tickets. Well, it wasn't quite a ten, but it was good enough. 'On to the next game?' Mave inquired, grinning playfully to herself. "Of course. These tickets have to be worth something." She replied, tucking her spoils into the sleeve of her robe, along with the measly one ticket.

They hadn't needed to walk much longer before finally reached another game. This time, it seemed the objective was dexterity, along with skill, maybe a bit of luck as well. Ring-toss as it was, wasn't the easiest games to beat. Often times they'd make the ring smaller then the object you were meant to toss the ring over, in this case it was a Moo Moo Milk bottle. Beyond frustrated at her poor results, Avikna turned to the Arcade. Surely there was a game in here that she was good at? With the method of eenie-meenie, she found her game, and began to play, hoping she'd get at least a decent score. Even still, she wasn't easily going to give up either. After getting a bite to eat, she'd head to the Pokemon center, rest up until the next day and go at it again. It seemed all her frustrated was rather perfect for a boxing game. With all her previous training, and somewhat well kept physical form, she managed to beat the top score with flying colours. Hearing a small group of bystanders clap for her, sort of made her feel good. The machine itself spewed out twenty tickets, and allowed her to enter in her initials. Choosing AVI as her mark on the machine, she took her ticket's triumphantly with her.
'Well, you finally won one.' Mave grinned as they passed by a few food stales. "I just had to find something I was good at." Mave chuckled at this. 'You should be good at all of those games.' Avikna turned with a snarl. "I'm out of practice. You'll see, tommorrow it'll be another story." With that, they gathered up some food and headed back to the Pokemon Center.

For whatever reason, these simply children games had gotten Avikna all in a tizzy. She'd barely slept the night before, mostly because of the noise, but also because she kept waking up shouting obscene things about getting a perfect score. How these people managed all-nighters was beyond her, but perhaps this became evident as she strolled up to the first game, the fishing game, and a new person was attending the stall. As the train pulled up to the station on Island One, or Knot Island. Now that they had made it to the festival, it was time for Alex to head into town and find a shop. He needed to change into something tradition so he could somewhat fit right in. The trio managed to easily find local shops selling traditional clothing for Tanabata. Finding their pickings were rather skim, and the day was slowly drawing to a close, the red-head returned to the Arcade. The game she'd played yesterday was crowded by people trying to out beat her score, so she opted for the next test of strength; Arm Wrestling. This time however, she struggled.... quiet a bit. coming in at a lower score, she was sort of glad no one noticed the machine spewing out only three tickets. Maybe she was trying to hard? Looking up Avikna spotted Arietty circling in the air, the flame of her tail bright over the coming darkness of night. "One word; Mega." Mave grinned. 'And you think your bond with Ule'tra or Aislin is strong enough?' Turning her gaze back to the wolf, Avikna's eyes narrowed. "Who said I was getting one for them." The wolf shook her head, "Yea, I thought of it, but you're right... we're not anywhere close enough to utilize something like that. But still, wouldn't it be nice to get the 'X' Megastone for Arietty?" Mave shook her head. The conversation ended, as Avikna and the gang headed into the Pokemon Center.

From the closer distance she noted it was round.... but flat, and somewhat familiar. Standing she felt her feet suddenly sink into the sand and before she new it, she was being pulled under. Waking before she suffocated in the sand, the red-head felt her lungs were heavy, and her eyes burned. She was exhausted... Mave greeted Avikna with a concerned look, as did the bulk of her team who at some point in the night released themselves. Celsius immediately wrapped his shawl around her neck, emitting warmth, oddly. "It was just a night terror." Avikna stated, pushing herself from her bed. Forcing Celisus off of her, she slipped to the showers to relax her aching muscles. Was this dream some sort of warning? Or maybe reminder? She shouldn't be out here having 'fun'.... but training instead. "Dragon- Avikna?" Aislin's voice was low. Was she concerned as well? Avikna poked her head out from the shower, sending a scowl towards the Lucario, Aislin uncharacteristically flinched. "What?" Avikna asked, her tone suggesting she wasn't in the mood for this interruption. "I-i.... I was just wondering if I could join you guys today... I-i've never been to a festival before...." Avikna's gaze softened some. She was acting so... childish, or perhaps... less annoying. A devilish grin crossed the red-head's lips. "Alright."
After nearly two hours of getting ready, Avikna headed back to the festival with a new assortment of followers... well, somewhat new. Mave still followed behind and Celsius clung to Avikna's back. Aislin followed to Avikna's left, taking in all the stalls and games with awe. Stopping at the fishing game, the two made a contest out of things, both going for a Wailmer. Both lost of course, but still... it was oddly nice seeing a smile on Aislin's face, rather than a scowl... was this the same for herself? Avikna wondered, 'Do I really resemble Aislin that much?' Perhaps she did.... Mave, who could have answered this decided to stay quiet, to busy watching the little fish Pokemon swim about in the pools.
