"Quest Island is the seventh island in the Sevii Islands archipelago, south of Floe Island and west of Fortune Island. Like the other Sevii Islands, this island has a town on it, however, also like the other islands, this town is small compared to the island's explorable area. Quest Island does not have as many inhabitants as the other Sevii Islands. It has been left virtually untouched in its natural state and is difficult to hike across.
North of the port is Trainer Tower, and the sign outside of it proclaims "Rise to the Challenge, Trainers!" Trainers from all over come to battle others in the eight floors of the tower as fast as they can. It is unlike normal Battle Towers as items may be used during battle and players may run down the stairs to the first-floor Pokémon Center to heal their Pokémon, however the tower is not currently being run under it's normal conditions.
Instead, trainers visiting the Sevii Islands are welcome to come to the Battle Tower and battle each other for full experience gain. Please note that there is a level cap of 50, so any pokemon above that cap will be reduced to 50 if used to battle in the battle tower. Trainers also cannot battle the same opponent more than once per week, experience is gained every time an opponent pokemon is KOed, the and the experience gained from defeating that pokemon is split between all the pokemon who helped battle against it. Please quote a mod when the battle starts so we can "referee" the battle and make sure the rules are being followed.
Each participant in a battle will receive 5 tickets, and the winner shall be given a Gem of their choice [Fire Gem, Water Gem, Electric Gem, etc]
South of the port and across a bridge is the entrance to Sevault Canyon, which contains small cave called the Tanoby Key. Tanoby key has several odd puzzles, and is said to somehow be the "key" to a secret that lays within the Tanoby Ruins, which reside at the southern end of Quest Island. The Tanoby Ruins are a series of seven small islands containing strange chambers with an odd language written on the walls, similar to the Ruins of Alph in Johto. Could these two places be connected somehow?"
Each type of game can only be played once per day, and are available on each of the Sevii Islands. To play a game, use the RNG thread for your rolls and provide links in your post to the numbers you rolled.
Please be sure to only play one game per post!
Fishing: There are little water filled glass bowls set up on long benches, each bowl with various tiny aquatic pokemon inside of them. These pokemon are tiny, about the size of a quarter, and bred specifically to be household pets, but here they serve the purpose of being cute and fun to play with. Armed with a small net consisting of paper tied to a small wooden pole, your task is to capture one of these pokemon before the paper net dissolves!
You have many choices of fish pokemon to try and capture. The heavier the fish is, the harder it will be to catch, but the more tickets you could get if you do catch it! So choose wisely!
Lightweight Catches:
Lightweight pokemon such as Finneon, Magikarp, Squirtle, and Horsea are much easier to catch with a frail paper net, but because of this, the payout isn't quite as high. It's much less risky than the other options though.
Roll a d4, if you roll a 1, your paper net broke, and you get 1 ticket as a consolation prize, but if you roll a 2-4, you've caught your pokemon and win 2 tickets!
Medium Weight Catches:
The medium weight category pokemon are slightly heavier than the lightweight pokemon, which means a paper net is more likely to break with this bunch. Medium weight aquatic pokemon would consist of pokemon including, but not limited to, Tirtouga, Whiscash, Huntail, and Frillish.
To try and scoop up one of these mini pokemon in your net, roll a d10. A roll of 1-6 means your net broke, but you get a consolation prize of 1 ticket. A 7-10 means you have successfully wrangled yourself up a tiny pokemon and earned yourself 5 tickets!
Heavy Weight Catches:
Don't be fooled by these pokemon's tiny appearances; they're heavy! Or at least they're heavier than a paper net can generally handle, but if you have the skills and a little bit of luck, you just might be able to handle scooping up some of these Octillery, Clamperl, or Mantyke to turn in for a whopping 10 tickets!
To attempt such a feat, roll a d6. Any numbers ranging between 1 and 4 means your net broke, but you still get a consolation prize of 1 ticket. If you happen to roll a 5 or a 6, you're in luck! You managed to catch these slightly heavier pokemon and can turn them in for your 10 ticket reward.
Wailmer Challenge:
Are you feeling lucky? Well this challenge is just for you! Wailmer are pretty heavy, even when they're small. It's near impossible to scoop them up in a paper net, but it can be done.
If you feel like you're willing and able to attempt this challenge, then roll a d20. Anything less than 20 gets you a broken net and one ticket as a consolation prize, but that's the risk, the reward for successfully rolling a 20 is a whopping 100 tickets!
Golden Magikarp Challenge:
Got bigger fish to fry than a Wailmer? Are you feeling like Lady Luck is blessing your every step? Does the chance at 1000 tickets catch your fancy? Well then this is the challenge for you! We have here a 20 karat solid gold Magikarp here for you to try and scoop out of a fishbowl with a paper net, but there's a catch!
You need to roll a d100, and happen to roll, that's right, a perfect 100. Getting anything less will earn you 1 measly ticket, but the reward for succeeding is 1000 tickets! Think you can do it? Give it a try!
Throwing Darts: Try and pop as many balloons pinned to a wall with ten darts as you can! Roll a 10 sided dice. The number you get is the number of balloons you pop! 1-3 is 2 tickets, 4-6 yields 4 tickets, and 7-10, 6 tickets!
Ring Toss: Toss a ring and try to hoop it over a moomoo milk bottle! You only get three rings, so make them count! Roll three 10 sided dice. A 6-10 means you successfully landed that ring over a bottle! 0-1 rings landed earns you 2 tickets, 2 rings earns you 5 tickets, and landing all 3 rings earns you a whopping 10 tickets!
Arcade Games: Play an arcade game of your choice and try to get a high score! Roll a 20 sided dice to see what your score is! 1-5 means you scored pretty low, but the machine pities you by giving you 1 ticket as consolation. a 6-13 means you got an okay score, but it could have been better, the machine gives you 3 tickets for a good effort. 14-19 means you got a great score! You get 7 tickets. Rolling a 20 means you just set a new high score! The islanders are somewhat jealous of your master skills. Your prize is 10 tickets (and gloating rights).
Fortune Wheel: Step right up and spin to win! Every number earns you tickets, but some numbers are luckier than others! Roll a 10 sided dice, the number you roll is the number of tickets you win!
Taking a boat from One Island all the way to the last Island, Ko found herself growing weary and filled with anxiety that only came from worry. She feared for Ohm, being already less then healthy, a crash landing was the worst possible thing to happen to him, Why she choose to come to the Seventh island was beyond her, but once she reached it, she was nearly overwhelmed. One island was busy, of course, being the first island, and the only one with Pokemon center, it made sense, but even the seventh Island was nearly filled to the brim with tourists. How was she ever going to find Ohm in this? Of course she also feared for Tephinger... he was an older bird, despite acting wise and tough, a crash landing was going to be good for him either... though the thought accrued to her that they were both half-blind, it sort of made her chuckle. "I-i'm sure they're both fine." Ko stated suddenly, catching Kezia's attention. "Right, so why worry? Let's take in some of the festivities and we can keep an eye out for Ohm and Teph in the meantime?" 'I agree, Ko-dear.' Le'Lana added, floating down to gently fly to Ko's side. "Well.. for a while... this is what we came here to do after all." Besides maybe some of the festival people had seen him? Ohm was a hard person to miss.
Heading into the crowd, Ko found herself standing at the first game, a fishing one. Pools scattered over a small designated area held within an assortment of Pokemon, all of which were divided into weight classes. She of course wanted a quick challenge, eagerly trying for a Wailmer right off the bat, only to fail miserably. "Better luck tomorrow." The man attending the game mentioned. "Tomorrow?" Ko quirked a brow. "Yep, it's one attempt per day, it's actually the same for all of the games." Oh, well... that was certainly something wasn't it? One chance per day. "Anyway, here you go. One ticket for a good attempt." Handing over a ticket, Ko hesitantly accepted. She offered a look to the man, who quickly picked up on it and motioned towards a stand set up down the way, a large group of people deciding over the prizes with their earned tickets. "That stand down there gives away prizes in exchange for these tickets, if you're lucky, you can maybe catch up and get something pretty neat before the festival ends." Looking back towards the man, Ko nodded. "I'll do my best." She proclaimed, eagerly rushing from the game to find the next one.

Landing on a grassy area Noivern let Simon off and he thanked him before returning him. Looking at the battle tower Simon smiled comparing it to battle mansion making him feel a bit home sick. Walking towards the front of it Simon was stopped by a clown? The entertainer was breathing a bit of fire before taking a bow which Simon clapped for. "Thank you, thank you, my next trick will be defeating you in battle!"

The challenge caught him off guard but Simon was ready. The clown sent out, "Charmeleon the flame Pokemon. Charmeleon mercilessly destroys its foes using its sharp claws. If it encounters a strong foe, it turns aggressive. In this excited state, the flame at the tip of its tail flares with a bluish white color." Since Marshtomp went last time Simon sent out Dewott before trading him out for Greninja.

Arriving at Seven Island, Ajicka, with as little care as she could, stopped momentarily to play one of the games, closing her eyes with very subtle relief when she landed two rings. It wasn't as good as three, but dang, she was just glad it wasn't one. Her luck had... definitely declined since she first started playing, it seemed. But, so long as she got the items she wanted-- the two megastones in particular-- she was fine. And surprisingly, as irritated as she was, she wasn't bored yet. She was actually... enjoying? Or at least appreciating, the festival. She hadn't even explored that much of it, yet, so she would likely try and withhold judgement until she had done more. And hopefully, she could get some battles while she was on this island, and blow off a bit of the anger that had been boiling up.

The ball that the clown was balancing on deflated as Monferno was knocked out. "Good job," Simon said to both Greninja and the clown before returning Greninja. "Can they heal up my Pokemon inside?" The clown nodded going inside himself to heal him team, Simon followed and after they were done with his team Simon healed Greninja up. This would also heal the burn he received. Once he was done he wandered the wall reading up on the rules of this battle tower.

Brushing a hand through her hair, Ajicka decided to go check out the Battle Tower. She released Jolteon, Elle, and Wooper to go play some of the games in her absence, if they wanted, and headed over, letting Jas out to fly above while she walked with Bagon. ZK was still tagging along with the squirtle, but lagging behind a bit, his hands in his pockets and a bored expression on his face. It wasn't too surprising that he had no interest in what she was doing... but at least they weren't likely to have too much trouble with those goons for a bit. And if she started battling, he could probably just lounge in the stands for a while, and watch.

The short flight between islands hadn't been a smooth one, but it seemed Ashen was getting better than flying with a passenger. They touched down in front of the center path, leading to the Battle Tower, and flanked all the way down on both sides by game stalls. Zero returned Ashen to his ball, but decided to let Sei and Nova out of their balls. The shiny Lucario didn't get a chance to be out a lot lately, outside of maybe a battle, so she could use the downtime.
"Alright guys," he started, "there's a lot of games around here, so let's go around and play as many as we can. I wanna see if there's any cool prizes I can get from doing them." The two nodded, and split up the path. Zero found himself at the first Wheel of Fortune, giving it a good spin. Luck seems to have gotten on his side a bit more, the wheel stopping on a nine. Not a jackpot but perfect for him. He took his tickets and went to the next stand.

The first game Sei decided to play was a small ring toss. It wasn't that hard of a game, just toss the little hoops and get them around the bottles. Simple, right? The Lucario tossed her first one at the nearest bottle, a confident grin spreading as she watched it stick. Unfortunately though, she wasn't quite so good on the next two shots. She overshot her second one, sending it past the bottle and towards the back of the stand. The final one just kinda bounced away, rolling off to some unseen corner once it fell. The confident grin faded and was replaced as her head hung low, taking the measly two tickets she got from the one ring.

As Zero approached another fishing challenge as his wrist buzzed, a message coming in from his X-Transceiver. He looked to see it was from Marx, asking if they'd arrived already. He pulled up the little text box to type his response.
Reply to Marx
Yeah, we made it a while ago. Already got a head start on the games too.
He hit the send button, and took stock of what the challenges were at the stand. The Medium Weight hadn't gone very well, but he wanted to try his hand at it. But he also noticed the payout for the Wailmer one. It was high-risk high-reward, sure, but he didn't see anything wrong with taking a shot at it. He took a paper net, and waited for the perfect opportunity. Unfortunately, when he went to pull up a mini-Wailmer from the tank, the net ripped almost instantly. A disappointing, but not surprised sigh escaped from him, before he tossed it into the little can the broken nets were put into before walking away.

Looking over the rules he was interested in seeing how the tower normally worked. Outside of the festival it looked like you had to climb the tower battling trainers however unlike the battle mansion you can use items. After every battle in the battle mansion your team is healed, stopping is also allowed but more likely they wanted you to stay and fight all the way through. You didn't even make it to any of his sisters until you beat like thirty five consecutive battles. Right now only the first floor was open for trainers attending the festival to battle each other but there was a level limit of fifty which would raise or lower the trainer's Pokemon to meet that level.

Wandering a bit, Nova found herself inside a tent full of arcade cabinets, much like the one on Four Island. She was supposed to be playing games, so she figured doing one here wouldn't hurt. She approached the nearest game, which was a shooter, pulling the gun up to her hands with her psychic abilities. She figured it'd probably be cheating if she used her abilities to play the game for her, so she just held the gun rather awkwardly in her hand. Unfortunately the uncomfortable handling didn't really let her do very well at it, only scoring moderately okay. She didn't even place on the leaderboard. A little annoyed, she walked away from the machine, taking her tickets with her.
