Purpose
A club that gets everybody outside and enjoying the world around them!
Majesco Psychic Academy is a terrific place but boy, sometimes the student body can be shut-ins! It’s time to drop your books and head out into the wild! In this club, students will be getting back to their natural roots and exploring the world around them. Rain or shine there is always something fun planned that is sure to put a smile on your face!
If fundraising goes well there could even be field trips! Who doesn’t love the sound of that?
So lace up your boots, grab a water bottle, and get ready to join Lucy Tucker in the best world of all: Outside!
Meet Times
Plan to meet on Friday after the final bell has rung!
*Depending on the activity meet times may change. A reminder will be sent a week before so check your mailboxes!
Activities
There are tons! Gardening, hiking, camping, bicycling, swimming, bird watching, kite flying, star viewing, ice skating, hockey, snow fort building, sledding, snow-shoeing, snowball battles, et cetera, et cetera. There’s always something to do and if anyone has even better ideas it works best to suggest it!
If the weather is too hazardous to venture outside, you are recommended to bring your favorite movie or game to play instead! Even better is a dish to pass!
Fundraisers
With the hope being that fundraiser money will go to fun field trips, a variety of fundraisers will be done throughout the year. For instance, a fruit and veggie market where members sell what they’ve grown, tour guide activities where members will lead students out into the wild on safe but exciting trails, and an art show where the artistic members can sell the work they’ve done depicting nature!
More is sure to come! (when I have better ideas…)
