What is a Dark Mirror Senshi?

Dark Mirror Senshi are a unique type of senshi whose power comes from a Chaos seed within Mirrorspace. Much of their origins are shrouded in mystery, though it is known that Parallel Sailor Ares discovered an untapped source of energy between dimensions and from this power the Dark Mirror Court was born.

The Dark Mirror Senshi are regular senshi whose starseeds have been altered by a strange, mirror-like coating that directly ties them to Mirrorspace. These senshi draw energy from the Chaos Seed that powers Mirrorspace.

The Dark Mirror Court is a chaos-aligned faction, and while they are similar to corrupted senshi and regular senshi in terms of functions, they have a different set of abilities and energy signature. The Court is semi-hierarchical; it was originally run by Princess Ares, though after her departure Princess Leto and Prince Remarque lead the faction. Other positions of leadership may be established through plot and earned through roleplay.

The Dark Mirror Court operates independently from other factions. They are loosely allied with the Negaverse; while neither organization forces its members to work together, they had a relationship in the past that disintegrated into a sort of acceptance. The groups will not go out of their way to attack one another, though they are not required to play nicely, either. Dark Mirror Senshi cannot reveal civilian identities to Order characters, but they can choose to work with them to further their goals.

The Dark Mirror Court has two major goals; the first is to save and convert as many White Moon Senshi as possible. The Dark Mirror Court generally believes that the White Moon Senshi are just misled and are fighting for the wrong reasons. There are different beliefs within the Court for how best to deal with the White Moon, though the faction should generally hope to convince them to join the Dark Mirror Court. Dark Mirror Senshi are not obligated to engage in battle or kill enemies, though Some Dark Mirror Senshi are more focused on physical combat and eradication of those who cannot, or will not, join them.

The second goal is to explore and understand Mirrorspace and to use their unique powers to save Earth, if they can, or develop and cultivate a livable world within it to protect themselves and those they care about. Each Dark Mirror Senshi may develop their own focus, but there is a general belief that the White Moon Senshi are prisoners of their past and that by severing the ties to their past life and their homeworld they will open up a new future. The Dark Mirror Court is a relatively small faction compared to the others and it is generally thought that if either the White Moon or Negaverse comes to power, the world will settle into chaotic and oppressive rulership where resources are depleted and opposition eradicated. If they don’t destroy the world fighting, first.

Dark Mirror Senshi must drain energy to support all their goals and power Mirrorspace.

Chibi Senshi cannot be corrupted into the Dark Mirror Court, nor can a character awaken as a Chibi Dark Mirror Senshi. Dark Mirror Senshi powers and abilities are tied into the age they are upon awakening. They can awaken between the ages of 14-27, and depending on what age they were when awakened, their powers will manifest with different strengths. Dark Mirror Senshi who awaken between the ages of 14-20 are considered the baseline for Senshi; these are the standard Senshi! Senshi that are awakened between ages 21-27 will have noticeably fluctuating magic. This may mean that their magic manifests weaker than how it is stamped and has many irregularities and oddities. These Senshi have awakened past their ‘prime’ and their starseeds have become slightly toxic due to the buildup of untapped energy; they are considered ‘Late Blooming Senshi’. These Late Blooming Senshi can complete a ritual to access their full potential, and more information about this can be found below!

Joining the Dark Mirror Court

The Dark Mirror Court is an unnatural faction, more so than even the Corrupted Senshi of the Negaverse. Dark Mirror Senshi could be White Moon Senshi, but instead they have a Mirrorcoating over their starseed that tethers them to Mirrorspace. This Mirrorcoating amplifies their natural abilities and grants them Mirror-specific abilities.

Senshi can either awaken into the Dark Mirror Court or be corrupted into it after awakening as a White Moon Senshi.

Awakening Into the Dark Mirror Court

Previously unawakened civilian characters can awaken into the Dark Mirror Court when taken to The Black Mirror in the Throne Room of Mirrorspace. This room can only be accessed by Dark Mirror Senshi of at least Eternal rank, though they can bring others in with them. Unawakened civilians can either be identified as potential Senshi by Corrupted Mauvians, who do not always work with Dark Mirror Senshi and would prefer to give the Negaverse more Corrupted Senshi, but will always prefer to awaken a Senshi into any Chaos Faction if the alternative is losing them to the White Moon. If a Corrupted Mauvian identifies a potential Senshi, the Dark Mirror Eternal can easily take them to the Black Mirror knowing they have Senshi potential. Alternately, the Dark Mirror Senshi can take any civilian to the Black Mirror and identify potential Senshi through trial and error and luck.

Civilians who do not have the potential to awaken as a Senshi will find their energy drained to unconsciousness and they may feel like the whole experience was a dream. Mirrorspace will hold them in a mirror temporarily and will then eject them out into Destiny City unless the Dark Mirror Senshi manually returns them to Destiny City.

Dark Mirror Senshi may be able to locate civilians with potential if they are attentive to the amount of energy their Mirrorwraith is able to drain from a Senshi. A senshi starseed that is ready to awaken is bursting with untapped energy, so wraiths will gather energy from them at a noticeably faster rate than any average civilian. Any civilian who can be drained faster, or supply more energy to a wraith, should be taken to the Black Mirror. Awakened characters who are powered down will drain like any normal civilian and it would be impossible to tell that they already awakened.

The Black Mirror will not accept any character who does not have the potential to awaken into a Senshi, but any unawakened senshi who comes into contact with the Black Mirror can step through it.

While in the Black Mirror, unawaked characters will be lost in an infinite black space. They will see a white light--the path back to Mirrorspace. While in the Mirror, they may hear whispers of their name and sphere, and when they step back out of the mirror they will have awakened. Some Senshi have difficulties hearing their name and sphere while in the mirror, and may need a Mauvian to identify them.

Previously, Dark Mirror Senshi needed to get their Henshin Pen from a Corrupted Mauvian upon awakening, however Mirrorspace has acquired enough power that it can now create a Henshin Pen for all new Senshi. Corrupted Mauvians must still upgrade these pens.

Royal Senshi also have the ability to summon a mirror similar to the Black Mirror; they can use these mirrors to awaken new Dark Mirror Senshi even outside of Mirrorspace.

Corrupting Into the Dark Mirror Court

White Moon Senshi who have already awakened can be corrupted into the Dark Mirror Court with the help of a Dark Mirror Royal. The Dark Mirror Royal will summon a special mirror, nearly identical to The Black Mirror within the Throne Room of Mirrorspace. This mirror has the ability to alter the state of their starseed by coating it in the MirrorCoating and tethering it to Mirrorspace.

Unlike corruptions or purifications for other factions, when a White Moon Senshi is corrupted into the Dark Mirror Court, they do not naturally lose any memories. Any memories that involve the civilian identities of powered characters would become too blurry and to properly recall, and there would be an extreme disconnect between the civilian identity and powered memory. Upon corruption, they must abandon their old civilian self and acquire a new civilian glamour, making their civilian form unrecognizable to anyone who previously knew them. The most significant change of the glamour can be seen in the eyes; due to the disruption of the starseed, when a White Moon Senshi corrupts into the Dark Mirror Court, they may get a new eye color. More information on DMC Corruptions (and Purifications) can be found here.

Regardless of how or when a Senshi is brought into the Dark Mirror Court, Mirrorspace makes a replica starseed—a MirrorSeal. This is not a real starseed, however it is used by Mirrorspace to influence members of the Dark Mirror Court. The MirrorSeal is made of pure Chaos and is tied to the Mirrorcoating that covers and influences the White Moon Starseed within. The White Moon Starseed is trapped beneath the strange Mirrorcoating and cannot be purified by normal means, though the MirrorSeal can be sought after (and is necessary to locate if your Dark Mirror Senshi is interested in purification!) but requires a PM to the shop mule, The Space Cauldron.

Dark Mirror Senshi Accessories

There are two very important tools all Dark Mirror Senshi have access to immediately upon awakening: their Henshin Pen and their Compact. If a Dark Mirror Senshi did not obtain a Henshin Pen while awakening in the Black Mirror, a Chaos Mauvian must summon one from subspace. While awakening in Mirrorspace, a Dark Mirror Senshi will also magically acquire a Compact; this will appear in their subspace pocket and can be summoned at will. A Dark Mirror Senshi can only have one Henshin Pen and one Compact; these items are unique to them and cannot be replicated, so if they are lost there is no replacing them. If either are ever damaged, any Chaos Mauvian is capable of making repairs!

Henshin Pen

A Henshin pen is a small, compact tool that a civilian should keep on them and use to power up into their Senshi form. It has no other function or purpose than to allow a Dark Mirror Senshi to access their powered form, and should look similar to the Henshin Pens used by the canon Sailor Scouts. As the Dark Mirror Senshi grows in power, the pen will change along with them. These pens do not naturally change; a Chaos Mauvian must sense when a Dark Mirror Senshi is ready to unlock the next stage of power. The Chaos Mauvian will manually update the pen and return it to the Dark Mirror Senshi. To properly upgrade to the next stage, upgrading the Henshin Pen is not enough; a Dark Mirror Senshi must go through the mirror. Once they pass through Mirrorspace next, the new power they’ve unlocked will sync with their Mirrorseal and they will complete their upgrade. A Dark Mirror Senshi will only ever have one Henshin Pen; they are incredibly sturdy and cannot be easily broken.

The exception to needing an upgrade to the Henshin Pen to unlock the next stage of power is a Royal Senshi; their starseed will resonate and unlock a new stage of power on its own if they ever reach this stage. Their Henshin pen will not change if they unlock their Royal stage.

Dark Mirror Senshi cannot power up if they do not have their Henshin Pen; civilians must carry their pen to access their powered form, however once they have powered up, the Henshin Pen will safely disappear to their subspace unless the Dark Mirror Senshi then manually summons it.

Henshin Pens do not have an aura; because they are carried while in civilian form, they need to be discreet. Senshi cannot have an alternate transformation tool; they cannot have a Henshin Brooch or a Henshin Bracelet, for example. While Pens may be unique to the Senshi, they cannot be modified into any other shape or form.

Compact

Dark Mirror Senshi Compacts are small, handheld compacts. The compacts are metallic, and the outside is unique to the senshi who owns it, and may resemble their symbols, their colors, or their themes. There were two mirrors on the inside used for communication. Dark Mirror Senshi can either use their Compacts to send messages that can be replayed at will, or they can use it for immediate conversation, where the Compact functions as a two way screen. Dark Mirror Compacts can only communicate with other Compacts, and the user can choose to send a direct message to any Dark Mirror Senshi they know or they can send a group message to any Dark Mirror Senshi in the area.

Dark Mirror Compacts will work just about anywhere, however they work best when in Destiny City and within Mirrorspace. While they will typically still work in space, some functions may be limited or delayed. Messages should still send, but there may be a slight delay in when they are received; communication may be possible, however it is also possible that the compact may only transmit blurry images or distort sounds, and the connection may drop frequently.

If a Dark Mirror Senshi is sent a message to their compact while they are powered down and in their civilian form, they may feel a strange buzzing or sound in the back of their mind indicating that they need to power up to receive a message.

Mirrorshards

Mirrorshards are special, magically enchanted pieces of mirror created within Mirrorspace. These shards are small, black pieces of glass, and are roughly palm sized. The shards range from dull or sharp, however they cannot be used as a weapon. They are fragile tools and can break easily so must be taken care of; they are incredibly important to the Court and are used by the Dark Mirror Court to summon Mirrorwraiths, small creatures from Mirrorspace that drain the energy they need to grow the Court. As a Dark Mirror Senshi increases in strength, they can carry more shards and summon more wraiths simultaneously; a basic Senshi can have one shard, a Super Senshi two, and an Eternal Senshi can have three. The shards are not bound to a single wraith and instead can summon any viable wraith from Mirrorspace. The energy a wraith collects is stored in the shard; in a pinch, a Dark Mirror Senshi may shatter the shard on their tiara to restore energy, however this should only be used as a last resort because it costs energy to create more shards. If a wraith is shattered, the shard it was summoned from will also shatter, along with any energy that has been collected. If a shard is destroyed, a Dark Mirror Senshi can only get a replacement from a Dark Mirror Royal, who must manually create a new one for them.

Subspace

Subspace is a little pocket dimension that Dark Mirror Senshi can utilize for storing items. This functions essentially as a miniature storage unit and is roughly the size of a backpack. Dark Mirror Senshi can access this immediately upon awakening and will have an innate understanding of how to reach it, put something in, and pull something out. All sorts of items can be stored here, such as first aid kits or snacks. Any perishable food will deteriorate at the same rate it would on Earth; things will continue to age while in subspace, and living creatures cannot be sent to subspace. Subspace cannot hold any weapons, and is only accessible by the Dark Mirror Senshi it belongs to. To summon an item from subspace, the Dark Mirror Senshi simply needs to focus on the item and it will be drawn into their hand. Similarly, to send something to subspace, the Dark Mirror Senshi needs only to imagine and focus on mentally tucking it away there.

About the Basic Dark Mirror Senshi

As a basic Dark Mirror Senshi you have access to a few unique powers and abilities. You are just beginning your journey into this war and have a lot to learn. Your main goal should be keeping yourself alive and introducing yourself to your new Senshi powers while you gather energy to support the Court. These abilities are for Senshi that awakened between the ages of 14-20 or for Senshi who have created the necessary Rituals to access standard magic!

Powers

As a Basic Dark Mirror Senshi, you are just entering the war but you still have a chance to make a big impact! You have access to the following abilities:

    • You have a basic attack that is strong enough to dust youma if need be, but against another powered individual is not lethal under any circumstances.
    • You gain a natural durability that makes your body more resilient to physical attacks. Dark Mirror Senshi uniforms make them naturally more resilient to natural weather conditions as well!
    • You are now capable of jumping 2-3 stories high (maximum) and have an increased speed of 2x your normal civilian pace. At this stage, you also gain 1.25x your normal civilian strength.
    • You are entrusted with one Mirrorshard for summoning a Mirrorwraith to gather energy
    • You gain the ability to Mirrorwalk anywhere within the city limits. The further your distance, the more exhausting the travel. You cannot yet enter Mirrorspace, but as you practice, Mirrorwalking through the city will become easier.
    • You can find a crystal in Mirrorspace once every three weeks; you cannot access Mirrorspace by yourself but you can accompany another higher ranked Dark Mirror Senshi if they take you. You will not be able to claim a Realm in The Mirrorscape but you can begin collecting crystals to develop your Realm when you unlock it.

Fuku/Uniform

Full requirements for all stages can be found in the Custom Procedure Thread. Uniforms typically get more detailed as Dark Mirror Senshi ranks up, so as a first rank Senshi you should typically have the most basic version of your outfit.

    Uniform requirements include:

    • Must have some form of tiara, usually like the traditional Sailor Moon tiara. Headpieces such as hats, bandanas, or other hair accessories may be used in place of a traditional tiara, but they must be easily identifiable and worn atop the head or over the forehead. Tiaras typically have the same symbol as the brooch, but this is not a requirement.
    • Must have some kind of collar that is detached from the bodice and sleeves. A collar is defined as something easily identifiable on the senshi, that exists below their chin and at or above their shoulders. A choker or thin necklace wouldn't count. The collar must be detached from the bodice and sleeves. The collar must be a distinct piece and should not be extra fabric on the bodice; it can rest over or touch the bodice or sleeves, but their design must be unattached. For example, a scarf can rest on top of the bodice and sleeves, but it is not attached to either. A collar attached to a bodice (like a lapel) would not be valid. The collar must have one stripe to denote rank. Senshi collars that could function as or be mistaken for a cape or capelet should be no longer than about the armpit at first stage.
    • Must have chest and butt bows of some kind. A chest bow may be substituted by a similar accessory (such as a tie) but must be obviously present and be a distinctive part of the uniform. Sashes or another easily identifiable accessory around the waist/butt area are permissible in places of butt bows.
    • Must have a metal brooch somewhere on the Senshi’s torso, between the neck and waist. The brooch may appear as high as on the senshi collar, on the bodice, or as low as on the senshi sash or a belt around their waist. The brooch must be located on the torso; it cannot appear on the head, arms, or legs. While not a requirement, the brooch and tiara typically have the same symbol.
    • Dark Mirror Bodices must be one solid black piece (rather than bikini or two-piece) with no skin showing in the midriff area. They should not have bodices with holes or cuts designed to expose skin, and should not show skin from the top of the bust to mid-thigh. If the bodice has slits designed for ease of movement, the cloth must be able to hang closed when standing still. The bodice is the lowest layer of fabric worn over the chest and should be visible.
    • Dark Mirror Senshi do not typically show much skin; their arms should be covered in some way, either with sleeves, gloves, or a combination of both.
    • They must have metallic arm bracers of some sort; these bracers must be placed between the elbow and the wrist and should cover at least half of that area of the arm. These are not armor or weaponized, but should be any metal color. They should not be confused with cuffs or bracelets.
    • They must have a transparent overlay attached to the upper part of the bodice, anywhere between just below the collar or immediately below the bust. While a sash or other accessory may cover the overlay, it needs to be clearly layered to imply the fabric is still attached at an appropriate point. While transparencies may be utilized in other aspects of the design, these will not count as the required overlay attached to the bodice. The overlay must cover the torso in some way. Overlays may appear as vests, and may have sleeves attached, but should always be below the collar. The overlays must fall over the bodice, so transparencies that are simply sleeves, skirts, or scarves would not count towards this. Fabric that is tied up (such as fashioned into a scarf), and sleeves alone would not count for the overlay. Transparencies traditionally start off shorter and lengthen as the senshi ranks up.

Growth and Stages

About the Dark Mirror Supers

At this stage you have begun to comfortably grasp your role and are coming to terms with your new powers. As a Dark Mirror Super Senshi you are stronger and more resilient.

Powers

As a Super Senshi, your physical and magical abilities improve and you have access to the following abilities:

    • You have an increased speed of 2.5x your normal civilian pace. At this stage, you also gain 1.5x your normal civilian strength.
    • You have access to your Super stage magic, which is a stronger and more effective version of your Basic Senshi magic. It is easier to dust Senshi and defend yourself against other powered characters.
    • You can cast both your basic and super stage magic in battle! It may be a bit exhausting at first, but you can use multiple spells in battle.
    • You are entrusted with two Mirrorshards for gathering energy, allowing you to summon two Mirrorwraiths at once.
    • Mirrorwalking is now easier and less tiring. At this stage you can comfortably Mirrorwalk anywhere within city limits with one person, but moving with two people is an extreme strain. The more you practice, the less of a strain this will be, however constantly Mirrorwalking with one person, especially for long distances, will still wear down your energy.
    • You can now stop your Mirror walk mid-transport to linger in Mirrorspace for up to twenty-four hours at a time.
    • You can now access The Mirrorscape through the elaborate gold mirror in the Common Room! Once you have accessed the Mirrorscape, you can claim your own personal Realm and customize it based on your ideal world. Your Realm can be as large as a baseball field at this stage. Your Realm can produce one unique crystal every two weeks. Aside from this crystal, you can also find one standard crystal in Mirrorspace every two weeks. You can use these crystals to develop your private Realm in the Mirrorscape.

Fuku/Uniform

Your uniform will become more ornate than your basic stage, but still has the same requirements--and a little extra.

Full requirements for all stages can be found in the Custom Procedure Thread. Uniforms typically get more detailed as Dark Mirror Senshi ranks up, so as a first rank Senshi you should typically have the most basic version of your outfit.

    • Must have chest and butt bows of some kind. A chest bow may be substituted by a similar accessory (such as a tie) but must be obviously present and be a distinctive part of the uniform. Sashes or another easily identifiable accessory around the waist/butt area are permissible in places of butt bows.

If the Senshi is using layers to denote rank and already had two layers of fabric at a previous stage, they must gain an additional layer of fabric.

About the Dark Mirror Eternals

You have ascended to the highest rank most Senshi will ever reach: an Eternal. At this stage you have the ability to make a significant impact in the war. With your newfound power comes more responsibility; it's your job to keep a lookout for new Dark Mirror Senshi, to watch out for the other members, and to bring the Court to power!

Powers

As an Eternal Senshi, your physical and magical abilities improve and you have access to the following abilities:

    • Your speed has increased to bursts of up to 3x your normal civilian pace, and your natural agility has improved phenomenally, allowing you to respond quicker and with more dexterity. You are slightly more durable to physical attacks now, but Negaverse Generals and Knights have immense physical strength so you need to be careful. You gain 2x your normal civilian strength at this stage.
    • You gain access to your Eternal magic, which is typically very powerful!
    • You can cast both your basic and super stage magic in battle as well as your Eternal Magic! You should not use all of your spells in one battle, but as you use more magic, the less multiple spells will drain you in battle.
    • You are entrusted with three Mirrorshards for gathering energy, allowing you to summon three Mirrorwraiths at once.
    • Mirrorwalking now feels as simple as walking normally. You still need to concentrate on where you are going and visualize your destination, but the strain on your body is almost completely gone. You can still only Mirrorwalk within city limits, but you may bring three people with you comfortably, and up to five with extreme exhaustion. Normal restrictions of Mirrorwalking apply: the Dark Mirror Senshi must stay in contact with everyone they are transporting and the mirror must be large enough to accommodate everyone, going in and out! In addition, taking three people would be a bit of a strain, but taking five people would be extremely exhausting.
    • You may now stop your Mirror walk mid-transport to linger in Mirrorspace for up to seventy-two hours before you are ejected, however staying in Mirrorspace for any prolonged time can make you feel drained. As Mirrorspace has no supplies, you would also need to bring these with you if you are planning on staying for so long!
    • Your Realm in The Mirrorscape can now be as large as two baseball fields. Your Realm can produce one unique crystal every week. Aside from this crystal, you can also find one standard crystal in Mirrorspace every week. You can use these crystals to develop your private Realm in the Mirrorscape.
    • At this stage you have the ability to help awaken new Dark Mirror Senshi by taking them to The Black Mirror in the Throne Room of Mirrorspace.

Fuku/Uniform

Your uniform will become more ornate than your super stage, but still has the same requirements--and a little extra.

Full requirements for all stages can be found in the Custom Procedure Thread. As a first-rank senshi you have the simplest of uniforms with these requirements.

For example, a scarf can rest on top of the bodice and sleeves, but it is not attached to either. A collar attached to a bodice (like a lapel) would not be valid. The collar must have three stripes to denote Eternal rank. Senshi collars that could function as or be mistaken for a cape or capelet should be no longer than about mid upper arm at third stage.

Fabric that is tied up (such as fashioned into a scarf), and sleeves alone would not count for the overlay. Transparencies traditionally start off shorter and lengthen as the senshi ranks up.
    • They must have a pair of black, feathery butt-wings.
    • The Dark Mirror Senshi’s bottoms must upgrade to have either three stripes to denote rank, or they must have at least three layers of fabric to denote rank. If the Senshi is using layers to denote rank and already had three layers of fabric at a previous stage, they must gain an additional layer of fabric.

About the Dark Mirror Royals

Dark Mirror Royals are Eternal Dark Mirror Senshi who have gone above the call of duty and unlocked the power of a Royal Crystal. Earned through hard work and dedication, Dark Mirror Royals are regarded as the ruling council of the Court. Their Chaotic power from beyond the Mirror grants them the strength they need to guide the Court. They have access to large reserves of energy and are necessary to acquire the resources the Court needs to thrive.

Powers

As a Royal Senshi, you have access not only to new magical attacks, but also several new abilities. While you match a General Sovereign or Royal Knight in speed and agility, they outmatch you in raw strength. Royal Senshi have a much stronger energy signature so it can be dangerous to be in this form unless you need to access that power. Other changes include:

    • Your speed has increased to bursts of up to 3.5x your normal civilian pace. You are slightly more durable to physical attacks now. You gain 2.5x your normal civilian strength at this stage.
    • You have gained a Mirror copy of your Homeworld's Crystal, and the power that comes with it. This crystal gives you the use of one extremely powerful attack. This magic is generally incredibly dangerous and cannot be used flippantly. Crystals are volatile things and do not respond with perfect ease as soon as you learn to access it. Practice makes perfect! This magic is so powerful that it must be approved by the staff before you use it in any shop hosted roleplay.
    • You gain an additional passive ability to aid you in battle; this is most often an ability that is subconsciously triggered or always in effect, depending on the ability. It can be used in battle and is an additional, lesser magic, designed to aid the Royal Senshi.
    • You have the ability to permanently dust youma. To do so, you must summon your tiara. You can use your tiara magic to do a long distance attack at a youma; when the tiara makes contact, it will automatically, permanently, dust the youma. Youma dusted in this method are permanently destroyed and cannot reform in the Rift. Tiara magic can only be used once per day and does not cause additional harm to non-youma characters, however if used on a non-youma character it may feel like a harsh push. Half-youma characters are affected no differently than every other non-youma character.
    • You may switch between your Eternal form and your Royal form at will to keep a low profile while still patrolling the city and keeping everyone safe. It is best to stay in your Eternal form because your Royal form emits a huge energy signature. You cannot use your Royal attack while in your Eternal form.
    • You may now stop your Mirror walk mid-transport to linger in Mirrorspace for as long as you like. You will either need to take breaks to get supplies or have someone bring them to you.
    • Mirrorwalking with others has become easier and you may now Mirrorwalk with up to ten people in an emergency, though this will be draining! You must also have a mirror large enough to fit everyone at once and everyone must be holding onto you for this to work.
    • While in Mirrorspace, you are capable of trapping people in mirrors to drain energy. They will remain trapped until their energy is depleted, and then they will be expelled back to Destiny City. This method does not kill people, but is an effective, albeit inhumane, way to harvest someone’s energy.
    • You may create mirrors to drain people while outside of Mirrorspace. This is more effective than relying on a Mirrorwraith, however it can be a bit draining for the Dark Mirror Royal. They can trap someone in Mirrorspace by throwing them through the mirror; anyone who is not a Dark Mirror Senshi will be trapped in a mirror until their energy is depleted. You may summon up to two mirrors per day to do this. No one can Mirrorwalk through these mirrors.
    • Dark Mirror Royals can summon a full sized mirror to Mirrorwalk through; they can only summon one door at a time and they will still need to have a viable destination in mind. Any Dark Mirror Senshi can use this summoned mirror to walk through, but the longer the mirror is open, the faster the Dark Mirror Royal’s energy signature is depleted. They can summon and dismiss this mirror as often as they want per day, however they only have a channeling time of five minutes per day before the mirror will fog over and become unusable.
    • You can harness Chaos energy within Mirrorspace to create more Mirrorshards to summon wraiths with; these are necessary for new or upgrading Dark Mirror Senshi, or to replace broken shards.
    • You have gained the ability to corrupt White Moon Senshi into the Dark Mirror Court, either willingly or unwillingly.
    • Your Realm in the Mirrorscape can now be up to twice the size it was at Eternal stage. Your realm can produce one unique crystal every day. Aside from this crystal, you can also find up to two crystals in Mirrorspace every week.

Fuku/Uniform

Each outfit is individualized to the Royal in question though each Dark Mirror Royal has a full pair of black wings somewhere along their back. These wings are lightly functional which means if you practice you can glide with them from high places and under duress can hold yourself aloft about ten feet in the air. You cannot fully fly but they are at least somewhat useful.

Senshi Variations

While there is typically a standard for all Senshi, there are some Senshi who do not exactly fit the mold as outlined above by nature of awakening under different circumstances. Senshi that awaken between the ages of 21-27, have specific rules they must be played with in addition to the traditional Senshi Rules.

Late Blooming Senshi

Senshi that awaken between the ideal ages of 14-20 do so when the starseed has the most potential to sync and grow with them. Senshi that awaken between ages 21-27 will still have a starseed with the potential to awaken, however the starseed has spent a very influential time in the character's life dormant; this power has been growing but hasn't had an outlet. When a character awakens between age 21-27, their magic will, for a period of time, be erratic and more difficult to control as they adapt to the harbored energy they have just unleashed. Their magic will fluctuate between being weaker or stronger than how it was stamped, or their magic may manifest in abnormal ways, such as by attacking the wrong target, or manifesting with a more powerful effect but at the cost of reduced uses or draining the senshi to near exhaustion. These oddities may be handwaved but should be ICly noted by the character.

These starseeds are not as ‘loud’ as others, so without something to trigger the starseed to awaken, a Mauvian may not be able to feel its erratic pulsing as they would any other Senshi who is ready to awaken. Mauvians should be reluctant to awaken a starseed that seems so turbulent, so these characters should usually be awakened in dire situations that would necessitate the risk. There should be some element of danger that would justify a need to tap into that power! Mauvians should know that erratic starseeds may manifest with dangerous power, so they should be handled with care. Mauvians cannot directly awaken a Dark Mirror Senshi and need a mirror to be involved, so these things should be considered when awakening a Late Blooming Dark Mirror Senshi.

If a Late Blooming Dark Mirror Senshi is awakening without a Mauvian, there should still be some urgency or pressing matter that encourages their awakening. The actual awakening feels no different and takes no more energy unless a player desires; these starseeds function erratically so there is wiggle room depending on plot and desire of players.

Late Blooming Senshi will not have any noticeable difference in their energy signatures; because their energy is constantly fluctuating during their basic stage, a player may have their energy signature occasionally seem stronger or weaker but this is not a necessity. Because these senshi should have become more in sync with their starseed and magic by Super Stage, once they grow and complete their ritual their energy signature should be identical to other Senshi.

Late Blooming Senshi have the same abilities and powers as a typical Senshi, but simply have to deal with the backlash of erratic magic!

    Late Blooming Senshi Ritual

By the time they are ready for their first upgrade and reach Super stage, Late Blooming Senshi should be ready to stabilize their starseed. To do this, they will need to travel into Mirrorspace. They must complete some personalized ritual while within Mirrorspace; they can either do this before they reach Super stage by traveling with a Senshi that brings them, or they can do it alone on their first trip into Mirorrspace after reaching Super Stage.

This ritual should be something unique and involve them finding some inner peace or undergoing some personal growth within Mirrorspace. When they step out of Mirrorspace after completing the ritual, they will be able to comfortably control their magic. A Stabilization ritual will vary from person to person, but should always focus on bonding with Mirrorspace in some way. By being in sync with Mirrorspace, they will also be in sync with their starseed.

Rituals simply need to be a meaningful experience. All Stabilization Ritual plots must be sent in to The Space Cauldron for approval! These plots do not need to be detailed; a simple explanation of what you want your character to do, and what it symbolizes or means to them is enough! We just need to keep track of who is undergoing the ritual!

Characters must do this either shortly before reaching Super stage, or immediately afterwards; no Dark Mirror Senshi should have erratic powers through their Super Stage without a very good plot reason. If you have a reason for why you want to prolong erratic powers, please PM the Space Cauldron with as much information as you can provide!

Dark Mirror Abilities (Mirrorwalking)

Dark Mirror Senshi have the unique ability to step into any reasonably sized mirror and walk out of another mirror they have previously visited within Destiny City. Dark Mirror Senshi who are at least Super stage or above can also enter Mirrorspace through any mirror they can reasonably fit through.

Mirrorwalking is not as accessible as the Negaverse's teleporting, but it is typically easier for a Dark Mirror Senshi to do since it expends less energy. Dark Mirror Senshi can only travel through mirrors within city limits, and the further they travel, the more energy they expend. Basic Senshi may find this to be a little straining, but by Eternal stage it is as easy as walking.

Dark Mirror Senshi can travel to any mirror they are aware of and have visited before, however they must have physically visited the mirror and be able to clearly picture its current location. Even if you memorize every detail of the mirror, if you do not know where it is, or it’s been moved by even a few inches, you cannot Mirrorwalk through it! A detailed description of where a mirror is or a photograph is not enough.

Only true mirrors can be passed through, not just reflective surfaces. Dark Mirror Senshi are encouraged to hide mirrors in places convenient for them, but there is always a risk the mirror might be found and destroyed by those who want to impede the DMC's Mirrorwalking abilities or are just surprised to find a mirror in the middle of nowhere. For this reason, Dark Mirror Senshi are encouraged to regularly check on their mirrors and hide more if need be.

Any mirror must be large enough for a human to pass through. At higher levels, individual Dark Mirror Senshi can dive headfirst through smaller mirrors if necessary, but typically a mirror has to be at least the size of the senshi (or group they are traveling with) for this to work. It is impossible to pass through a mirror that is too small for a human to fit through, and while a Dark Mirror Senshi may be able to squeeze out a limb, this is incredibly uncomfortable as they wind up crammed in a strange between-space.

If a Mirror has been broken or moved and a Dark Mirror Senshi is attempting to pass through it, it may feel like walking into a wall; alternatively, the mirror may simply reject them and send them back through the mirror they first stepped into. Sometimes, the Dark Mirror Senshi will simply pass into Mirrorspace instead, if they are at a rank that would allow them to slow their step to reach it already.

The sensation of Mirrorwalking is like diving through a pool. They enter very fast, then there is a cool sensation followed by the feeling of moving through water, and then you step out on the other side. Before you step out of the other side of a mirror, you may see blurry shapes and hear muffled sounds from whoever is in the nearby vicinity, but all sounds will feel distorted, as if you are listening through water. It is impossible to spy on people through mirrors, and this is simply a split second introduction to whatever a Dark Mirror Senshi may be stepping into.

The stronger a Dark Mirror Senshi is, the more comfortable Mirrorwalking is--and the more people they can bring with them. Basic Senshi cannot bring anyone with them, but Super Senshi can take up to two people, and Eternal Senshi up to three. To Mirrorwalking with any guests, they must hold onto them at all times to avoid being separated and lost in the mirror. If a guest is released while the Dark Mirror Senshi is walking, they will either be immediately rejected from Mirrorspace and sent back out the mirror--or, trapped in a mirror in Mirrorspace until their energy is drained, where they will then be ejected back into Destiny City.

To Mirrorwalk, both the Mirror you are walking into and out of must be large enough for everyone to fit through at once!

Dark Mirror senshi will need to practice to improve their Mirrorwalking! It is not a skill that can be learned overnight and requires focus and dedication, and all Dark Mirror Senshi are encouraged to practice often.

Dark Mirror Resources (Mirrorwraiths)

To assist in gathering the energy they need to support themselves and Mirrorspace, Dark Mirror Senshi are given special shards that can summon unique little creatures from Mirrorspace. These creatures are known as Mirrorwraiths.

These strange creatures appear naturally in Mirrorspace, though very rarely venture from its depths unless summoned. A Mirrorwraith is a non-sentient, ghost-like monster that is typically non-corporeal and only gains tangibility when they swell with collected energy. A Mirrorwraith is incapable of causing any physical damage whatsoever. It is not a weapon, a companion, or anything other than a tool for gathering energy.

To the average eye, a Mirrorwraith lacking tangibility might simply look like shadows that flit in and out of mirrors. After collecting energy, they appear to be made up of hundreds or thousands of tiny, reflective glass shards. They can appear in many shapes, though are rarely larger than a cat.

Mirrorwraiths are the lingering energies of the life forms from worlds Mirrorspace has absorbed; they do not have any personality, ability to speak, or ability to truly think. They will never resemble humans because they are an amalgamation of all life forms and species that Mirrorspace has absorbed.

To gather energy, the Mirrorwraith will come out of the shard and dart towards the nearest non-Chaos being while exhibiting mild evasive measures to help avoid easy destruction. They are mostly designed to be used after an enemy has already been incapacitated, as they have no way to defend themselves or attack an enemy. Sometimes it takes as little as darting through a civilian three times to fully drain them. Mirrorwraiths cannot kill the target by draining them, though the rapid loss of energy is capable of causing dizziness or unconsciousness.

When a wraith consumes energy, it becomes corporeal. When in this state, the wraith can be attacked and take damage. This is exceptionally dangerous as it only takes one hit to completely shatter a wraith. If a wraith is shattered, the shard it was summoned with also shatters and all energy is lost. Similarly, if the shard is shattered the wraith shatters and all collected energy is lost.

A wraith is not bound to a single shard; they frequently pass from shard to shard or mirror to mirror and are not known for staying within just one. With the vast number of wraiths either lurking in Mirrorspace or being created deep within, a Dark Mirror Senshi may become familiar with some wraiths though it is unlikely that they will have the opportunity to bond with one. The wraiths obey the Senshi though do not seem to particularly care for them.

Losing a Mirrorwraith is never ideal; creating the shards used to summon them can only be done by a Dark Mirror Royal, and consumes a bit of energy. If the Dark Mirror Senshi do not bring enough energy in, the Dark Mirror Royals are incapable of making the shards capable of summoning Mirrorwraiths. The energy collected with wraiths is used to maintain Mirrorspace, awaken new Dark Mirror Senshi, and create the necessary tools the faction needs to survive.

If absolutely necessary, a Dark Mirror Senshi can shatter a shard full of collected energy against their tiara to absorb the energy into their bodies. This will replenish them in an emergency, though it destroys the shard and they will need to pick up a replacement to continue gathering energy.

Only Royal Dark Mirror Senshi can create the special shards capable of summoning Mirrorwraiths. To do this, they fuse collected energy with a mirror obtained in Mirrorspace. When the mirror is fully charged, it can then be shattered and the shards, roughly the size of a human palm, can be collected. Each shard can be used to summon a single Mirrorwraith. Basic Senshi are entrusted with one shard, supers two and eternals three. The shards range from dull or sharp, however they should not be used as a weapon. They are fragile tools and can break easily, so need to be taken care of.

While rare, there are stronger wraiths lurking in the corners of Mirrorspace. These wraiths are unlike the common lifeforms absorbed; instead, these wraiths were once living creatures who willingly served Mirrorspace, usually misled or deceived in some way until they deteriorated into the wraiths they are today. Those with strong starseeds can survive the changes of Mirrorspace even while serving it; for this reason, Dark Mirror Senshi do not risk turning into a wraith simply by utilizing the powers they received from Mirrorspace or by spending time in Mirrorspace. Theoretically, those that serve Mirrorspace now or in the past, could survive within Mirrorspace even after their planet was destroyed. Mirrorspace, a sentient entity, would try to imprison or destroy those who would seek to work against it. Once a creature has been turned into a wraith, it is entirely loyal to Mirrorspace and functions as an extension of it. Rare, stronger wraiths cannot be used in regular RP but, should a player have a plot that requires a more substantial wraith, they should PM the shop mule, The Space Cauldron for more information and we will work with them for limited use of a more powerful wraith.

FAQ

  • What are Auras/Energy Signatures? How do they work?

All magically powered characters give off energy signatures/auras that can be sensed by other powered characters. Powered characters can sense these energy signatures on a sort of magical mental radar, where they can tell how many powered characters are nearby. It is possible to read someone’s rank and faction through their energy signature. For the most part, it is difficult to identify who an energy signature belongs to unless you have a very strong bond with the person, at which point you will be able to identify their specific aura. However, this takes time to develop and does not happen easily. A first stage character gives off a smaller energy signature than a third stage character and will be more difficult to locate on a radar; the stronger you get, the more powerful your aura. An inexperienced character may feel an energy signature like a haze in the distance that grows stronger as they approach, but an experienced character may be able to pinpoint directly where a signature is and head in that direction. While there is no specific range a character can sense an aura from (because this can improve as a character gains familiarity and experience with energy signatures, and can improve naturally the longer they’ve been powered), it would be reasonable to expect that an inexperienced first stage character might be able to sense up to five blocks away, a second stage character up to seven, and a third stage character up to ten.

The more energy signatures there are in an area, the harder it is to accurately read them; energy signatures of the same faction (or of Chaos and Order in general) may blend together, making it difficult to tell how many people and of what specific rank they are. Some character types have unique traits or features regarding their aura, but more detail can be found in their individual information threads. For example, Mauvians and Ascended Senshi have unique traits regarding their energy signatures, Vanguardians do not have an energy signature, and some civilians can sense energy signatures through enhancements or other magical boosts.

  • What does it look like when a Senshi Powers up?

Senshi must be holding their Henshin Pen and say their power up phrase, however they can do this in any pose they like. Depending on the player, and character, powering up may be more or less flamboyant. It would not be unnatural for white light and sparkles to surround a character as they powered up or for their clothes to simply melt away into their uniform without any fanciness. Some senshi may notice magical elements related to their sphere flutter around them while they power up, but this is entirely up to the character. This is entirely illusion and does not affect the environment around them.

  • Do all Dark Mirror Senshi have a past life?

Yes; all Senshi who awakened on Earth had past life selves that lived during the Silver Millennium. A Senshi may remain unaware of their past life and may not ever discover or acknowledge it, but all Senshi had a previous incarnation that lived a thousand years ago. Dark Mirror Senshi do not naturally get memories of this, so they are often completely cut off from their previous past life White Moon Senshi.

  • If a character is nonspeaking, are they prevented from powering up or using magic? Does powering up grant them the ability to speak?

If a character is nonspeaking, they can power up and use magic the same as anyone else. The power to use the magic is in the will of the words rather than the spoken word itself. Even speaking characters can will the same magic just by thinking the name of the attack without any notable difference in strength. Powering up will not magically grant a voice to a character who does not have one; if a character cannot speak in civilian form, they will not suddenly find themselves with the ability while powered. They may utilize their preferred method of communication, be it any form of sign language, or a glamoured version of any aided augmentative and alternative communication device they may use.

  • Can Season affect the strength of a Senshi’s magic?

Possibly! While any element based attack is magical in nature it does not guarantee that the seasons would affect potency, however depending on player choice they may decide in one on one roleplays that the magic is more or less powerful. However, you should not assume this is also true in any event without first asking!

  • Can Senshi Combine their magic to form new Magic attacks?

Unfortunately, no! This has too many variables and would require approval before any combination, so it’s not something the shop can feasibly manage and track. Senshi may use their magic in tandem, but it does not create new magic.

  • What are Eternal Senshi wings made of?

It varies from person to person but it's usually cloth, plastic, ribbons, or feathers. These are not functional wings are are just a very decorative part of their costume. They cannot move on their own and Senshi do not feel pain if they are attacked or torn from the costume.

  • Can two senshi in a Binary Star System share a home world, despite being senshi of two different stars?

Each Senshi would have their own world; Senshi get their powers from their homeworld, and no homeworld can have two Senshi at one time. While the Senshi should originate from their homeworld and have existing life on their homeworld, a player could plot that one of the Senshi spends most of their time on the other star in the system. However, this would be like a Senshi living on Earth with their homeworld in space; Transcended Senshi would weaken the longer they were away from their homeworld. While the cultures can be similar or while one star may be more advanced/larger, as the Homeworld is the source of Senshi power, each Senshi should be dedicated to their homeworld and must interact with it.

  • If a Senshi perishes, will their starseed be available for questing again?

No; the player still owns the sphere; if their character were to be reborn down the road they would have only the past life memories of their most recent incarnation. Names and Spheres are locked to players; if their senshi dies, after a minimum of seven years they may reawaken as a White Moon Chibi Senshi. This requires plot permission before pursuing, and players cannot quest for chibis who were senshi that perished in Destiny City.

  • Ares is a parallel senshi with a merged soul. Does this mean the Dark Mirror Senshi have merged souls too? Do Dark Mirror Senshi know about this?

No; The Dark Mirror Senshi only have one soul, and it does not change when corrupted or awakened. There is no dual personality that they must compete with, and no personality that will override the person they were prior to awakening as a senshi. If a White Moon senshi corrupts into the Dark Mirror Court then they will need a new glamour, however there is no soul-swapping in the process. The Dark Mirror Senshi are not parallel senshi and they do not hail from the alternate reality where Ares once lived, Mirrorspace has simply absorbed her powers and copied her abilities to bestow upon the Court. Dark Mirror Senshi may be handwaved as knowing this from high-ranking, older members of the Court, but they do not naturally know this information and need to ICly acquire it.

  • Can a Dark Mirror Senshi Mirrorwalk outside of Destiny City?

While a Dark Mirror Senshi may be able to enter a mirror outside of Destiny City and Mirrorwalk into the city, this would need plot approval, as powered characters should not be powered up outside of Destiny City. Dark Mirror Sensh cannot Mirrorwalk to or from space, however, because this requires a huge amount of energy not accessible to them. While Dark Mirror Royals may have the ability to do this, it would be incredibly draining and would need plot explanation and approval. Even if a Dark Mirror Senshi knows where a mirror is on someone’s homeworld, they cannot walk there, and cannot use it to return to Earth. While they may be able to access Mirrorspace, when they try to exit they will be pushed out through the mirror they entered. If a Dark Mirror Senshi attempts to walk further than they could reasonably travel, they will find that the mirror’s surface will not ripple and they will be unable to pass through it.

  • Is it possible to look through a mirror and see a Dark Mirror Senshi as they Mirrorwalk?

No; mirrors are doors and not windows. The only time a Dark Mirror Senshi would be visible in a mirror is if they were stepping out of it. Dark Mirror Senshi cannot use a mirror to clearly spy on someone from Mirrorspace (they can only use mirrors they know the exact location of, and even then the image would appear fully distorted, as if viewing in a funhouse mirror, or distorted by moving water), and it would be impossible to see what was going on in Mirrorspace. No matter how hard anyone stares at a mirror, they would never be able to see into Mirrorspace or see Dark Mirror Senshi Mirrorwalking.

  • Can a Dark Mirror Senshi drain energy from plants or animals?

Not really; an animal has only a slight bit of energy that can be absorbed as it isn’t as pure as the energy drained from humans, and much of their energy is lost in the conversion to usable energy. Plants are almost entirely worthless for gathering energy. Only an incredibly desperate Mirrorwraith would ever try to drain from a plant or animal, and in most cases they would ignore either option.

  • Does drawining energy cause permanent damage to a target or is the energy loss recoverable?

In almost all situations, energy is recoverable. The energy draining from the DMC is dangerous because it causes an immediate, short term drop of energy, and characters can pass out because their body does not have the energy to sustain itself, but this in itself will not cause lasting damage. A good night’s rest or a hearty meal is typically enough to replenish Dark Mirror draining, and even in extreme cases the target should still recover within a few days.

  • Can a Knight corrupt into the Dark Mirror Court? What about a Guardian Cat?

The MirrorCoating that covers the starseed of all Dark Mirror Senshi doesn’t stick to starseeds of any other faction. The MirrorCoat will not adhere to anything but a White Moon Senshi starseed, even if the character is willing and eager to join the Court.

  • Can a Henshin Pen be broken? Can it be fixed?

A henshin pen can be broken; when it is damaged significantly, a senshi cannot power up. A Corrupted Mauvian must repair the Henshin Pen. A pen should not be completely destroyed; there must be enough core components left for the Mauvian to work with. They can replace pieces as needed, but because of the strong magic in the pen, they cannot make a new one from scratch. Players should PM The Space Cauldron with their intention to destroy the pen, as well as a small plot about how it will be broken, for how long it will be broken, and who will fix it!

  • Can a Corrupted Mauvian bond with a Dark Mirror Senshi?

No; because the Dark Mirror Court does not have access to its own cats, all cats are important to them. Even Order-aligned Guardian Cats are considered to be important strategic figures, and it would be highly frowned upon for any Dark Mirror Senshi to kill a Mauvian. Though the Corrupted Guardian Cats remained aligned with and loyal to the Negaverse, this does not prevent them from forming friendships with Dark Mirror Senshi. A White Moon Mauvian cannot bond with any Chaos character, and a Corrupted Mauvian cannot bond with a Dark Mirror Senshi in the same way as with a Corrupted Senshi, though as long as the cat is maintaining its Negaverse duties it would not be frowned upon if a Corrupted Guardian Cat chose to live with and accompany a Dark Mirror Senshi.

  • If my DMS loses their starseed, could their MirrorSeal replace it?

No; this MirrorSeal is not a real starseed. It is a replica that Mirrorspace creates in an effort to assert control over the true starseed. This allows Mirrorspace to feed Chaos into the senshi and ensure loyalty. The MirrorSeal starseed is not a true soul so could never take the place of the True Starseed.

  • Why does a Dark Mirror purification take less energy than other factions?

Dark Mirror purification is not a 'true' purification in the sense of pushing the Chaos out of a starseed. Mirrorspace ciphons its Chaos energy through the MirrorSeal, through the piece of itself (MirrorCoating), and into the True starseed. Because the MirrorSeal is made out of Chaos, simply removing it from Mirrorspace will not stop the flow of Chaos into the starseed. To purify, the Chaos must be purged from the MirrorSeal to stop the flow of energy. Purifying Chaos out of an item rather than a starseed takes less energy.

  • Could my DMC try to find their MirrorSeal even if they didn't intend to leave the Court?

Yes; because Mirrorspace can see into their soul, if they do not intend to leave the Court or do not have doubts about their position in the Court, an illusion will not manifest to attack them. They will be able to approach the MirrorSeal and touch it, but if they attempt to leave with it, Mirrorspace will manifest in an illusion of themselves in an attempt to stop them from taking it. If you have any ideas or plots related to this, please feel free to PM them to the shop mule, The Space Cauldron!

  • Can my character become a Mirrorwraith by absorbing too much energy or spending too much time in Mirrorspace?

No; Mirrorwraiths are not a questable faction. These are not people and are instead amalgamations of all life forms absorbed by Mirrorspace. Wraiths have no interests and no true personality. They do not care for anything but absorbing energy and self preservation. There is no way for a Dark Mirror Senshi to become a Mirror entity of any kind, though at one point in time consuming the crystals in Altea’s castle resulted in temporary crystallization of limbs. If a player wants to plot for temporary crystallization of some part of their body they can send in a plot, but this cannot be a permanent affliction. This will offer no additional strength or abilities, though the crystallized area is struck with enough force, it will crumble and the area will be irreparable. If any part of a character is crystallized for too long, the area will decay and become useless and cannot be restored. Any questions or plots related to this should be submitted to the shop mule, The Space Cauldron.

  • Can a Dark Mirror Senshi eat a starseed?

A Dark Mirror Senshi can eat a starseed, but it has side effects and is generally ill-advised. It restores next to no energy, and instead leaves them with hallucinations, sickness/nausea, pain, and lingering guilt. There are no addictive properties to Dark Mirror Senshi eating starseeds, and it would be nearly unbearable to consume more than two, as it results in very heavy mental anguish. Overall, eating a starseed is not a good idea for any non-Negaverse character.
