It was quite apparent from a young age that Thomas was a thrill seeker, an adrenaline junky, completely addicted to the rush that came from performing death defying stunts. It started out small, pedaling his bicycle over a low ramp in an attempt to catch a little bit of air, and gradually became more grandiose and elaborate the older he became. He had many talents, however, and not all of the dare devil persuasion. Dancing, theatrics, slight of hand, gymnastics, juggling....Tommy attacked each and every new challenge thrown his way with gusto and days upon days upon weeks upon months of practice until he got it just right. He lived to perform, he craved the attention and the praise. The applause he received at the end of one of his shows made him feel like he'd achieved something great. No, not just great, spectacular.

Sometimes, it all would go to his head just a little. Being told how talented he was his entire life had that effect, though his cockiness was always more of an easy natured and jovial sort than the spiteful kind. He's a fairly cheerful sort of guy, all and all, though at times it is hard to tell how much of it is sincere and how much might just be an act.

Jaina:
Basically quite haughty and power driven. She expects Thomas to succeed in all things and believes that he has great potential. She is rather excited to be paired with him, even if she rarely shows it.

Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter?

There didn't seem to be a time in Tommy's life that he could remember not being able to see the shadows, the nearly not there, darkened blobs of shape that haunted the outskirts of his vision from time to time. Their presence did frighten him, and while at a young age he often spoke of his concerns to his Mother, she constantly reassured him that what he was seeing could not and was not possibly real, and encouraged him to face all of his fears head on.

Which is probably where the daredevil in him first sparked to life.

After spending many years of his life traveling and moving with his mom from location to location, across Asia and Europe, finally settling in her small home village nestled somewhere in southern Italy, Thomas decided it was time to strike out on his own, moving to North America where he became a travelling street performer.

The shadows always followed, no matter how far he went, no matter how much he tried to ignore them.

Spending the last two years of his life roaming across Canada and the United States, scraping up just enough to get by while doing what he so loved to do, there came a point in Thomas's life where he wondered. Is this it? Was this really how he imagined himself spending the rest of his life? Certainly he could see himself doing it for a few more years, perhaps, but definitely not forever.

It was also in this time, living on his own, that Tommy began noticing...odd things happening. Some of the other performers that were on tour with him would simply go...missing? He was assured it was normal, that sometimes people just gave up the lifestyle, packed up, and left, but it always left a bad feeling in the young mans stomach, like it was more than just that......

Two and a half years into his career as a street performer, while preparing for a rather large and hopefully lucrative festival, Thomas was approached by a man who seemed to know an awful lot about shadows and strange disappearances. He wanted to know if Tommy would join them, become a part of the fight to save humanity against creatures that nobody else could see. Tommy was a risk taker, and in his heart, he knew that this felt like the right choice to make.

And so, he agreed.


Weapon Ability Thomas's crossbow releases a bolt of crackling blue electric energy at it's target, which may than leap to strike a second and third target. Uses "The Charge" mechanics.
