I never really paid much attention to what the staff did, but I know Lanzer was an integral part of Gaia. Feel free to post your thoughts on this turn of events.

NOTE: He is NOT completely severing his ties to Gaia, just dialing back a bit and doing more administrative stuff off site. No need to panic.

That journal post is in the thread link I posted. I know he isn't completely gone, just switching off-site admin stuff. I only post this just in case people weren't aware that his role on the site is changing.

If he were to completely sever his ties with Gaia, I'm sure Chibi would be the first person the post about it here and let us all know.

Some people in that thread were flipping out, but I still think Gaia has a lot to offer if you ignore the "GC IN YO FAYSE" stuff. I'm not worried that Lanzy's mode shift might affect Gaia since I'm here for the activities with my pals.

Happen to see the really raunchy thread in the GCD saying Gaia people are...well...you know that thing with a bag? I thought that thread was so ignorant and rude. But, free speech and all...*shrug*

Yeah, all I saw was the title on that particular thread, and deemed it not even worthy of my time to read. It's just really sad when people have to go making negative comments like that though.

cat_whee I was just trying to do something different with my avi. Made me realize how few items I have that combine the dark periwinkle with the true dusty rose. cat_xp I haven't been the least bit interested in the cash shop offerings lately, so that puts a monkey wrench in my shiny shopping.

The only thing I got was the latest Kinmoku hair since I had been wanting some version of it ever since it first came out. I would have preferred one of the other two versions, but this one is ok. I think I'll wait and see what the monthly CI has to offer. If it's something along the lines of themes I like, I might buy a pack then.

Speaking of complete opposites, I didn't like one solitary item in Tailored Star. I've been more interested in the recent recoloring of the Lunarian items and the Starlit Promise recolors. I had been thinking about those recently and how it would have been nice to have a white recolor. Looks like someone read my mind. xd
