Edith
Nickname: Edi
Gender: Female
Stage: Teenager
Sexuality & Status: Straight & Plotted
Height: 5'3"
Weight: A lot lighter than she looks (Hollow-ish bones and such for flight!)
Nature: Adventurous

Skill Set:
Tackle
Growl
Whirlwind (learned)

Info: Where once she was a blossoming youth, Edith has now turned into a strong willed teenager. She's as stubborn as ever, with a heart made for loving, but now she hesitates to let others in. On the outside she's like every other teenage girly-girl; loves to try on pretty clothes, gossip about boys and primp. More over, she's developed a motherly side thanks to doting after her brother.

Edith isn't always like this, though. Thanks to drinking a Type Vampire potion, she now feeds solely on those of her same type and now has an allure to draw most others to her. This has caused her no small amount of grief; thanks to this and the incidents in her childhood she adhors violence, but she's finding herself more and more drawn to it...The scent of blood is so very intoxicating...

Interesting Notes: She's mute

Child Stage - Edith meets Kole! (AIM PD)

The winds were horrible! Edith held onto her delivery bag until she was white knuckled, trying her hardest to get her wings to beat forward in the gales. She was lucky not to get pushed back! With a voiceless scream she fell back, tumbling a few times in the air. The scared child spun out before falling into the canopy of trees, her bag falling down through the branches and landing on the ground. The resounding crash would have echoed, and since she hadn't been quiet in her struggles the mute girl could only hope someone would come to her aid...unless they were mean...

Having been exploring the woods again, still searching for the star that had fallen the night he'd grown, Kole had lost track of the time. It wasn't until a stiff breeze spun like razors through the underbrush that he realized the weather was turning sour. He was on his way home, a hand over his eyes, when the sound of a struggle rose from.. above? The thud of something dropping in front of him made him yelp and jump back, eyeing the bag suspiciously. Then- "Oh!" He spotted the girl up in the tree, mouth hanging agap for a moment. "Are.. you okay?" he called up, still glancing at the suspicious bag that had nearly hit him.

Her head was spinning, and when Edith attempted to rise she it was made clear that there was no place for her to place her hands. In fact, her body was laid over a branch, wings caught in the branches above. Fearing the worst, she bite her lip and flexed them. She instantly sighed in relief. Nothing was broken, but she was stuck, and as she looked down she realized she was stuck a good distance away from the ground. Her eyes widened, travelling to the source of the voice and finding...another winged kid? Edith nodded, tried to pull herself out and frowned. Oh, she was good and stuck, alright!

Cocking his head, Kole slowly stepped closer to the tree, giving the fallen bag wide berth. The girl really did look stuck... "Here... I can help," he said, having to raise his voice over a gust of wind. Biting his lip, he grabbed onto a low branch and hoisted himself up. Keeping his wings pressed close to keep them from catching the wind, he climbed as quickly as he could without much trouble. Now within reach of the girl, he looked around at the tangled limbs of both girl and tree. "You're stuck," he murmured needlessly, reaching to free the girl's arms first, then wings, and then legs so that she could stand upright on the branches again. "You okay?"

Shaking her head, Edith tried to wave him away. There was too much wind for him to be climbing into this tree! Did he know she could get out of this on her own? Still, that didn't stop her from getting excited by having him so close. She moved as he needed of her, but mostly remained still while he worked. When she was free she stretched out, just to make sure, but kept her wings close. Edith nodded while she smiled. She didn't have a way to say thank you, since her sketchpad was in the bag on the ground, but...Edith reached forward to hug him.

Kole held the branch above him for balance as he watched the girl straighten herself out. She had wings like he did, though they looked very different. When she held out her arms, his first thought was that she wanted more help getting down. Sure, he could do that. Of course, the moment he released the branch he held, another wind blew through the trees and knocked against his back. His arms flailed to find another hold, but only grabbed onto leaves that peeled easily from their stems. Instinct made him grab for her hand, while his other arm stretched out to grab for a lower branch. Just barely avoiding crashing into the girl he'd just helped, he now hung lamely from the branch that the girl stood on, legs swinging in the breeze, and looked up at her with a bright-red face. "Sorry.."

Edith gasped, grabbing onto his hand as she felt her own body being drug downward. Thankfully she was able to crouch, sliding until her legs had wrapped themselves around the branch. One arm held onto the branch and the other held on tight to her savior. Her face was a flush of dark grey, but all she could do was laugh her breathless laugh as she attempted to straighten, pulling him up with her. The pull had her leaning backwards, and when the next gust came through it knocked her over the side. Thankfully her hold was still strong, but she thudded into Kole a few times until her body became still. At which time the young Starly girl looked positively sheepish.

Yelping in alarm, Kole tightened his hold on the girl as she fell away, his hand on the branch slipping so that he dropped again. Now they were both hanging! Well, this was a pickle. Now face to face, seeing her sheepish look that surely echoed his own, he found the urge to laugh. Here he was, trying to help her out of a tangle, and then she was trying to help him up, and now here they were both hanging from the branch! Looking down, he saw one of the branches wasn't too far down. Spreading his wings just a little for a lighter fall, he let himself drop onto the lightly shaking branch. Then, he looked up and held one arm up to encourage her to drop as well, his other hand bracing against the trunk. He was as eager as anything to get down and end the risk of being blown away.

Her smiles turned to shivers as another wind slice through, causing Edith to tuck her legs in closer to her body. It was almost as if some legendaries were angry or something! She'd never felt such power in nature in her life. Edith watched as he dropped, and gathering her courage she did the same, snatching onto his hand for balance. If the wind would die down she could glide them to the ground, but every time she thought they were in the clear it proved her wrong. Edith tapped her chin with her finger, then brightened and hit an open palm with the opposing fist. She had it! Pointing upwards, she tried to show him the vines that had been cut when branches had been taken from the tree. She made more motions to show wrapping it around the branch and shimming down. It may not reach the bottom, but they would be close!

A sigh slipped out as Kole looked at the ground. His thoughts were the same; if only the wind would die down long enough! He flinched a bit when the girl's hands smacked together, his little pointed ears twitching curiously. Bright eyes rose as directed, but quickly dropped back. It would swiftly becoming clear to him that this girl had no voice. Surely she would have said something by now if she had the ability! He paid close attention to her gestures, but it took him longer to understand what those gestures meant. Nodding emphatically, he climbed back up to where some of the longer vines hung, and slung a few over his shoulder. To make sure it would work, he used one to get himself down to the level they'd been standing on, and smiled brightly. "Good idea!" he praised, taking another vine and wrapping it from that point. "Let's do one at a time. These should get us all the way down!" He was quite proud of himself for thinking to grab more than one. He descended first, yelping as the wind tried to blow him around again. He held tight though, and when the motion stilled, he untucked himself and continued on to the lowest branch that the vine reached. "M'kay!"

It was harder talking to this boy than it was her brother, but then again, her brother was used to the silence. She tried to slow down her gestures as best she could. Stepping back, she slunk down to the branch, bracing herself with her thighs. She didn't want to risk falling again! She grinned and held out a thumbs up, watching intently as he shimmied down so that she could follow suit. Thankfully her trip was less eventful than his! She balanced on the branch, reached forward to take a vine, tied it off and went down with a smile. It had been her idea, after all, so she wanted to give it a try!

Suddenly, this was enjoyable! They took turns getting down. Sometimes, the wind would try to alter their quest to the ground, but it always failed. He braced with his bare feet, toes gripping the trunk of the tree to help his balance. Finally, the ground was near! Tying the last vine, he made sure it was secure before slipping on down. With a sigh of relief, he dropped and sat on his butt with his back to the trunk.

Edith was having a grand time! Her worn out sneakers were great for gripping the branches, and she didn't have to worry about getting splinters in her toes when she had to dig in to avoid being swept away. When it came time to go the ground Edith avoided the vine all together and jumped, giving into a little tuck and roll before landing on her back with a big smile.

Watching the girl leap down, he laughed again. This person was interesting. He giggled again and pushed himself up enough to stand over closer to the girl. "Okay?" he asked with a little smile.

She nodded and held up her hands for him to help her up. Okay? She was more than okay! Edith's bad windfall had turned into an awesome little adventure.

Kole smiled and reached to take the girl's extended hands, bracing his feet to help her up. He could tell from how her eyes lit up that she was delighted with their new experience. Frankly, he felt just as excited. He wasn't much of a risk-taker, after all. This had been quite a new experience for him. "Do you have somewhere to go?" he asked, his wings twitching slightly. The wind was crazy, so she would have to walk wherever she was going!

She pulled herself up by his hands, fluffing her wings out to help her gain balance once she was upright. Her little flop of hair moved around her face, and while Edith moved to tuck it behind her ear she didn't make a move to release his hand until after an awkward amount of time. She blushed a little and released him, moving instead to go to her bag. She looked over her shoulder and nodding, pointing to her bag. Digging around in the satchel she found her map and held it up, motioning between it and the town she knew to be close.

The seconds seemed to suddenly tick by, waiting for his hand to be free. Her blush made the time all the more noticeable. Kole blushed a bit as well, since he hadn't exactly tried to pull his hand free, and turned away a moment to check the sky. It was getting darker, and the air heavier. His lips pressed slightly, and looked back in time to see the map pulled out. He walked over and took a peek. That wasn't too far away! He looked at the girl and smiled. "Can I come? My house it too far away." He was curious about her lack of words, but thought for the time being that it was simply because of the heavy winds that might blow the sounds away.

Edith took her time gathering her things. The sky was getting dark and she wasn't used to being on her own, so who knew what would happen to her? And the wind was starting to sound eerie as it whistled through the leaves. She shivered, and turned to Kole. It couldn't hurt, right? She stood and slipped her satchel across her shoulder, then held her hand out for his again, her eyes averted and yet looking at him at the same time.

It was because he was a stranger, right? It was good to be concerned, but he'd just saved her from the tree! When the hand was extended, he smiled brightly and accepted it into his own, ignoring the unnamable feeling in his gut. Quickly, he gave her hand a tug and started along the way toward the town that was supposed to be nearby. The cooling wind made his skin rise with goose bumps, and he rubbed his free hand over the opposite arm to warm against the chill. It felt like it might rain. Well, at least they would soon have shelter. All in all.. a good walk in the wind.

Child Stage - Entry One!

Edith’s latest delivery route kept her far enough away from the human cities that she felt free enough to fly. If she had a voice she would have whooped and cheered as she soared through the sky. The young girl performed aerial loops, dives, and just about any trick she could without getting too dizzy. She still wasn’t the best in the world, especially after her change, but she was trying!

She reached for the bag at her hip and pulled from it an address sheet. 102 Maple Wood Rd. What was a Maple Wood Rd.? She treated air for a moment, flexing and pulling on her wings to keep her upright as she tried to decipher the code. When it hit her she clutched the paper to her chest, looked down at the thick forest and groaned. Big brother was going to kill her! Meri would be so made if she didn’t do this on time. Edith puffed up and stomped her foot on the sky. Stupid, stupid, stupid!

On the wings of despair the young Starly fluttered down to Earth on drooping wings. There wasn’t much that could put wind in her sails now. The further and further she dropped to the forest the more she began to see of a little cabin. It peeked her curiosity enough that she glided towards it, landing with nary a sound on top of the roof. Was this where humans lived? Edith looked around, palms gripping onto the shingled roof. There was a hole in the top; maybe that was the door! Proud of her achievement she dashed off towards the hole, gripping the stone edging around it and looking down with a desperately curious look. What was down there? She wiggled her tail feathers excitedly. Maybe it was a treasure chest, or a secret cavern, or maybe it was a-

“Dammit Charlie, how many times have I told you to wipe your shoes off before you come in the door!”

Edith gasped and suction cupped her body flat against the chimney. There were people inside?! She’d completely forgotten this was a human’s house. What was she going to do? If they found her they might want to keep her and then they would just use her for Poke’dex numbers and send her out! She bit her lip, little tears pricking up. No, no, no, no!

“What’s all that scratching on the roof? I think the Murkrow are trying to build in the eves again.”

“I’ll go check it out.” A man grumbled. She wasn’t sure, but it sounded like his voice was getting further away, which really meant it was coming after her!

The closest escape routes were the air, which would leave her vulnerable and easily spotted. Or she could try going down the hole, but what about the other human? She heard a door open and close somewhere to her right, which left her with one option…Edith scuttled down the left side of the roof, grabbed the edge of the gutter and jumped down. Of course, this would have worked out perfectly if her bag hadn’t gotten caught on a nail. She screamed silently, mouth wide with fear as she wiggled and squirmed, unintentionally kicking the side of the house. She wasn’t even aware of a window opening to her left until a woman screamed.

“Charlie!! Charlie, it’s over here, it’s a weird Poke’mon! It’s trying to rob us!”
Edith tugged as hard as she could on the strap of her bag. Her little wings wouldn’t pull hard enough, and when she did give it a good tug it ripped. The delivery package slipped out, along with the address slip and before she could bend down to grab it she felt a hand on her wrist. She looked up with shock to see an older man with a shot gun in his free hand.

“Now, let’s just see what we got here, huh?” His face was solid and grime as he bent down to snatch up the address label. After a moment he twisted his face, and let her go. “Jeez, Francis, it’s just the delivery kid! One of those Poke’people Jason told us about you know. Here, let me get you some mon- Huh.”

Edith didn’t wait around for funds. As soon as the man had let go of her she burst off with as much power and speed as she could straight for the sky. When she broke through the trees she flew off in whatever direction took her away from here, her little heart flying as fast as light itself. She couldn’t breath! There was…there was just…Edith clutched her chest, tears pooling in her eyes but too panicked to fall. She had to get out of there, she had to find Meri….

Before she realized it Edith was falling. Her vision was going dark and she felt the air leaving her lungs. All she could see below her was a large body of water, and even though her mind was screaming for her brother all she could see was Kole.

Child Stage - Edith sees Kole again!

Kole was trying his best. He was living in town now. He was surrounded by humans all the time. He had to get used to them! ...So why was he huddled up near the very top of a wobbly pine tree, waiting for a group of hikers to pass by on the path below? He'd heard the pounding feet, and his heart had responded by pounding faster. He clutched to the trunk, peeking down through the heavy limbs. He felt a little better up here...

Edith's day off was full of happy flying. She couldn't seem to give her wings a rest, and sailed through the sky as free as the flying type she was. There was a freedom to it that she couldn't find waiting around the warehouse for her brother to return. She flew down around the trees, dipping her hands down to touch leaves when she heard a group of hikers and...Edith pulled up short and slowly started to descend until she was closer to Kole. Slowly she reached out, until just her one finger poked him in the back.

Kole could only hold tight to the tree, his eyes locked on the heads passing below. This group was huge! What if they’d seen him? He woulda been a goner! When he heard a noise behind him, he pinched his eyes shut and dismissed it at the wind in the trees. A human wouldn’t be way up- “YIKES!!!” Someone was up here! He automatically pushed himself forward, away from the person behind him and the trunk of the tree. Too far away to grab that tree’s limb, but not close enough to grab the other tree either, he dropped a few feet before his wings caught him. Hovering, he turned with wide eyes to see how a human could possibly-! “You!” He blushed heavily with embarrassment, and smiled with relief. It was the girl from another tree... “I-I-I’m sorry. I thought..” His mouth clamped shut, face burning more. It was really nice to see her again...

Edith squeaked and put her hands over her mouth, watching helplessly as the boy fell forward. Too late she decided to move, her little wings flapping as fast as a hummingbird before he finally caught himself. She sighed, visibly sagging with relief. What if something had happened to him?! Edith would have never been able to forgive herself. Backing up she sat on a thick branch and patted the space beside her. Her cheeks were dark with flush, but a bright smile was there as well. She shook her head, and made a sign with her hands to signify that she was sorry. It was something she had picked up from a human book and realizing after a moment that he wouldn't know she blushed. Edith reached for her bag, pulled out the book, flipped through the pages and showed it to him.

Kole flew back and settled next to Edith, keeping his eyes down shyly. She must think he was so silly... Pointed ears perking as the book came out, he cocked his head to see the pages. “Oh. You don’t have to be sorry. I-... I was thinkin’ about other things, is all.” His eyes dropped to stare at his feet a moment, and then looked back. “I’m glad to see you again. What are you doing around here?”

Edith swung her legs back and forth, kicking them out into the leaves and unconsciously knocking them down onto the hikers. She kept the book open, but laid it across her lap and folded her arms on top of it. Why did he look so down? Flipping through the pages once again she stopped on 'What wrong' and then went on to 'I have day off'. It was a lot easier just showing him in the book than trying to muddle through signing words he wouldn't understand.

Kole felt his fingers squeeze tight around the branch they sat on, definitely noticing the falling leaves. They probably wouldn't notice a few leaves though, right? Looking to the presented book, his brow rose before his smile fell again. He should try being less obvious... "It's.. nothing." He gave her a braver smile to push such worries away. "You have the day off? You're free for the evening then?" And.. she'd bothered to stop by when she saw him sitting there? "Are you hungry?"

Edith shook her head with a little frown and put her hand on his leg, tilting her head to look at his face. There was definitely something troubling her little winged friend, but she didn't want to push him. She'd get it out of him if it killed her, but not right now. At his first two questions she nodded along eagerly, squirming a little on the branch. With the last she placed her index finger on her lip, tapped it a few times and then nodded. Food didn't sound too bad right now!

Oh gosh.. He really was obvious! If he told her though, she would think he was a wimp! A wuss! A whiny little nothing! He was intrigued by the hand on his leg. She really did look concerned... "Maybe later," he said with a half smile. Kole pushed himself up to stand on the branch, looked down to check on the humans, and gave the girl's hand a tug. "Let's get something to eat first!" Maybe she would forget by the time they were done~ "Oh, wait! I don't know your name yet!" He gave her hand an eager tug again. "My name's Kole! I need something to call ya other than You!"

Edith nodded and pulled her hand back to sit on her book. That was all she needed to know! She wouldn't want him to have to hide something if it was a bad because then it would only hurt. Even mute she knew the power of self expression. Edith nodded and using her free hand started to slid her book into her satchel before Kole asked for her name. Kole. His name was as dark as his hair, and suited him. But...She bit her bottom lip, and looked down. She opened her mouth, but when nothing came out she brought out her book again. 'E-D-I-T-H'. Since it didn't have an alphabet, she had to point at individual letters in longer words and hope that he understood.

Now it was his turn to worry. She seemed distressed when he asked about her name. Oh, the whole 'no speaking' thing. Why didn't she talk anyway? ..Maybe that was something he could ask her about later. For now, he paid close attention as she pointed out the letters. It took a couple tries, but he eventually narrowed it down enough. "Edith," he said slowly before his smile rose. "That's nice." Grinning, he kicked off the branch and let his wings catch him once again. For their size, he couldn't go very far or very fast, but it was quicker than walking.

She was still a little worried over it, but managed to nod, her cheeks darkening despite herself. More than once she wished she could just say something, anything, so that she wouldn't have to make a game out of giving simple information, but it was what it was. Edith nestled her book back in its bag and kicked off after Kole. Thanks to her larger wings catching up to him wasn't hard at all, in fact, it was more of a struggle matching his slower speed. Managing to stay close, she shifted between flying above him, below, to the right and to the left.

Though he was embarrassed that he couldn't go much faster than he was, it was truly a delight for Kole to be able to watch Edith's aerial agility. His smile grew the more she roller-coastered around him, just to keep to his slower pace. He was panting by the time they got where he had in mind, having pushed himself so that she wouldn't get tired of having to slow down for him. "There!" he called out, pointing to a small clearing through the trees, just a skip and a jump away from town. It was a good place for pokemon and pokehumans alike to sit, meant to help ease the change that many of the pokehumans faced. He'd go there simply because humans didn't frequent it unless they liked pokehumans and pokemon. Landing on the edge of the clearing, he wiped the sweat from his face with his arm, and inhaled deeply. It smelled wonderful there, as always.

Edith wriggled her tail feathers in the wind, causing her to shift into little lazy spirals and flips. She would never be able to fly straight for the life of her. Where was the fun in it? At first Edith hadn't noticed a change in Kole, but when they arrived she had to frown. The poor guy! She bounced to a landing in the clearing, shaking out the last bits of energy from her wings, causing her hair to bounce around her face. Edith brushed it back and trotted over to Kole, unsure of what to make of this beautiful place! Her eyes were wide with wonder. This...this was great!

A toss of his head put his hair back into the bed-head "style" that it naturally was. He never did anything with it anyway. Made flying less worrisome. When he saw Edith's expression, Kole's smile went even brighter. He reached to take her hand and pulled her along. "You can come eat here whenever you want. They're always open, 'cause not all pokemon are awake during the day."
As if on cue, a bulky bulbasaur teen looked over at the approaching pair and smiled. "Well, this is a rare sight! You here during the day, and with company? What's the occasion?"
Kole smiled bashfully. "This is my friend, Edith. ...She's hungry. ...Me, too."
The teen smirked and shook his head. "Well, why else would ya be here. Take your pick, you two," he said, pointing over to the menu board on the side of the building right next to the counter.

She went along with him, holding his hand as she inspected the area. Poke'mon, humans and their kind?! Wow! Edith skipped behind him, happily being led until they came up on a teenager. She stepped behind Kole a little, peeping around him at the larger kid. He was a little intimidating, but that smile calmed her. Stepping out from around Kole she did her best to curtsy while still holding onto his hand. What a nice guy! She checked out the menu board, pondering over it with a pouted lip and then finally decided on a plain sandwich. Something light for a light flyer! She pointed at the menu and then held up three fingers, indicating the third on the list.

The bulbasaur's brow rose when he got finger signals from the girl instead of a voice, but then smiled and nodded. "A number three for you~" He turned to Kole and waved a hand. "And if you say anything other than a number 5, you'll give me a stroke."
Kole dug a toe at the ground bashfully, but still smiled and nodded. The teen was another of the few who were helping him adjust to the change, and the friendly teasing was strange, but welcome. "I'll try something different when someone else is here." That got a laugh from the teen, and Kole relaxed even further as he guided Edith to one of the picnic tables. "He'll bring it out to us. He's really nice like that. It shouldn't take too long. Sandwiches are easy enough." His own was a cheese and veggie sandwich, and he was looking forward to it.

Edith covered her mouth in a silent giggle, her body shaking a little with it. Apparently Kole came to this little area a lot more than she had originally thought! Though she could see the appeal. It was very cozy and more definitely warm enough. She would have to make sure to bring her brother here- she pulled up short mentally. No, no, maybe she wouldn't. This place was special to Kole and this could be special to her too! Secrets wouldn't hurt if they weren't bad, anyway, right? She moved to the table and shifted around to sit on the bench with her legs crossed under her. It was a little difficult to maneuver without falling, but thanks to her wings she had help balancing. Once settled she pulled out her book and pointed to more words 'You-live-here'. If he did that would explain some things.

When the book came out, Kole shifted around so that he was sitting next to her, and could see the words better. He looked up and pointed toward the town. "I live in a house with my friend int there. It's not too deep in." His brow rose, and his smile grew yet again. "I could show you where it is! You could stop by whenever you wanted to! I'm sure Kyllian wouldn't mind! Oh, Kyllian is my friend. My best friend. He's like us; part pokemon and part human." If he saw her more often... that would be really nice! "And, when you stop by, we can come here and eat!"
Just as he'd said, the sandwiches were brought out, cut into halves and given a side of baked chips. "Enjoy!" said the teen, mostly to Edith since it was her first time there, he suspected. The server had to hurry back to the counter though, helping the next customers to arrive.

Edith opened her mouth into a little 'o', and nodded. She blushed from embarrassment. That seemed to make more sense than sleeping in a public place...where had her head been? She thought about the offer and nodded excitedly. She would love to meet his friend, especially since he was like them! A friend of Kole's was a friend of Edith's. When the sandwiches were brought she clapped her hands together and gave the teen a little bow before digging in. It was simple, just a PB&J, but it was really good! She ate greedily without really worrying about how she looked, which explained the glob of jelly on her nose.

Kole was so happy! It would be so nice to see Edith more often! And the safety of the house would make it that much nicer. He gave the teen a smile as the sandwiches were dropped, and readily dug in. A moment later, a squirtle adult came and left a whole pitcher of water there with two glasses. Kole filled both glasses and pushed one over to Edith before attacking his own glass, draining it once before refilling and sipping as he ate. He couldn't wait to go now! Once she knew, she could visit whenever she wanted! He didn't know why he was so excited about that fact.. but he was. There was so much they could do together! Hopefully.. hopefully, the visits would be frequent... He would have to wait and see!

Child Stage - Edith meets Kenna again!

After a nights stay with the other gal Edith felt well rested and sane. She had taken a long, refreshing bath, buffed the dirt out from under her nails and generally felt like a pampered princess. She had never even seen a real house before from the inside and this - wow! Edith woke up the next morning with a bounce in her step that hadn't been there before. All she had to do to fix Kole was show him that there wasn't anything to fix! He was perfect the way he was, even if he had changed. She just needed to accept it and they would be good again. Problem was...her clothes were trashed and she was naked, standing in a bathroom she didn't own. Hrm.

Even if she couldn't speak Kenna still had fun with Edith. Honestly the litleo was just glad that she could feel helpful again. After her change she had tried to refuse to believe that she was staying this way, but now...it was becomming easier. Plus Edith didn't seem to mind it at all so why should she? Maybe being more like a human could be useful rather than annoying.

Still it was hard to decide on dresses. Not used to the concept of clothing still the litleo frowned as she tossed several of the things Sierra had bought for her to the ground. Nope, nope,...maybe? Grabbing two dresses, one of mint green and another of sky blue, Kenna knocked shyly on the bathroom door, "I figured you might want these..." Opening it slowly she made certain to not look as she tossed the two dresses inside, "Pick on or both doesn't matter ta me." Closing the door Kenna leaned against the wall hoping that she had done something right with dresses for once.

Turning towards the knock on the door, Edith boldly walked towards it, a little confused to see it shut that fast. Was there something to be embarrassed about? She knew she and her brother didn't change together, but they were different! Kenna was a girl too, Edith thought with puckered lips. The winged child bent down to look over the dresses, reaching out to touch them hesitantly. These were more than she had ever thought to own! They were so pretty and girly that she had a hard time choosing. In the end she went with the mint green dress, and came out of the bathroom with the other over her arm. It was a little big on her, but that just made it cozy. Edith came up to Kenna and twirled infront of her with a big grin. Thanks!

Flushing Kenna nodded at the thanks, "You-your welcome." She just waved a hand towards Edith though, "It's nothing much though...just a few things I would never wear. You can have both if ya want." She smiled faintly. Edith did look nice in it though. Something like that did fit a girly figure like her's rather than Kenna's boyish looks.

Sierra would definitely have approved.

"As is are you heaidn' home today?" Kenna questioned as she shoved the other clothes back into a closet, "If so I can walk ya home." She peered back around, "Not that I'm kickin' ya out or anything. Feel free to stay as long as you like here or come back too...I just thought you might want to go home to check on things?" She was rambling, but it was really strange having company over...she still wasn't used to the whole idea of friends after all.

Her eyes pratically glowed. Really?! That was such a big gift! Edith made a squeaky little noise and jumped up to wrap her arms around Kenna in a big hug. Her new friend was just the best. She didn't know of many people who would take in strangers for cocoa, let alone let them stay the night and clothe them, but boy was she grateful. The starly dug around for her phone, flipped it open and typed out, "Better go home, yes. Bro will worry. Don't know if you would want to come. not as nice as this." Her little place was home to her, but it was an abandoned warehouse. To them it was as nice as any other, but looking at this place made her question that. Taking it back she added, "If dress was red would have looked better on you than blue." Edith nodded. Kenna really was a spitfire, and something this pale wasn't her at ALL. It was like someone else had bought it for her!

Kenna laughed softly at the excitement, "Yes, yes." She felt her cheeks flush lightly. It wans't often she got treated like this and honestly she didn't even know what a hug was like until just then. Still the litleo tried to shrug it off and keep to her cool exterior, "I don't mind. Nothing bothers me, really." She smiled, "I'd rather see you home safe than worry over if ya made it."

She flushed more at the complement, "Red then? I suppose soo.." Kenna shook her head, "Either way let's get you home. Lead the way Edith."

Edith shrugged. If she was sure, then they could try it out! She folded the blue dress into her satchel, put it over her shoulders and started to make her way back to her home. Getting out onto the road was easy enough, trying to find her way back out of territory she didn't know wasn't. But Edith was smart! She was a delivery gal who had her handy dandy map in her bag and when she pulled it out a quick look at street signs and markers had her going in the right direction. At intervals she would point so that Kenna would know, walking with a smile. Of course by this point the sky was already beginning to grey once again, causing her to frown. Would it rain on them? She turned to Kenna, biting her lower lip. This...wasn't gonna be good!

Following Edith Kenna tried to keep everything to memory. It did amuse her to see her friend with a map out just to get home, but hey it worked. "You must go to a lot of places then to have that." She teased lightly though the weather did make her worry as well.

"I'm sure we'll be fine right?" The litleo looked around, "Do you want to take shelter for a bit though? I dont...really know the area well." Flushing she looked towards Edith, "What do you think?"

Edith shook her head. As a delivery girl she needed to have constant knowledge on where she was at all times, and sometimes a map was just necessary. Though what she really wanted was that fancy Poke'gear she'd seen some of the others using. Maybe someday she could land her hands on an older model.

Tilting her head to the side she raised a brow. Kenna didn't know the area well? Didn't she live here? Shaking her head, the young starly pointed to a little convenience store on the end of the block. Maybe they could run in their for shelter really quick and see if they had umbrellas. She took Kenna's hand in hers and started across the street.
