The Epilogue Project

Hello everyone!
I had the thought of writing epilogues, to wrap up everything that we've done.
It's been a while, but it'd be nice, don't you think?

Anyhow, I don't expect to get replies from most people, it's been about five years since LAN died! I've just been thinking about the characters a lot, and have come to miss them, and you all, quite a bit.

So, without further ado, epilogues!

Point-form notes:

Maren moves out of The Babylon and into a small cabin in the woods, somewhere in northern California. She raises Vala there, going back to her roots and getting away from the problems of the city. She's close enough that she can visit, and Akina can come hunt with her -but far enough to discourage visits from a few certain individuals.
Regardless of how Silver or Sevren feels about her, she feels betrayed by them by the kidnapping of her dinner-turned-Lycan. She'd make an effort to repair the relationship if they were to apologize, but she doubts it'll ever happen. They don't seem to think they've done anything wrong by rescuing her dinner.
She spends the next decade or two living a quiet life there, until Vala is older. Vala makes a point to spend more time in the city, so both Maren and Yami visit often to keep a close eye on her.

The Babylon itself continues to exist -Maren's never been one to give up on a business venture. It's still where most of the K'Meric family lives, but with an empty top floor. Only 1/3 of the previous tenants are still awake however -many of them have gone down for a long sleep.

Maren and Al, I think, get along just fine. She's convinced it's because of Akina, because he's adjusted to having a Brahmaparush wife. Or, perhaps, it's because of their family link. Really, it might just be that, despite beginning in two completely different worlds, the two of them just enjoy each other's company.

And that's an excellent reason indeed.

Zzeill, The Ghost. After many long years of running the Los Angeles Lycan pack, that was exactly what she became. A ghost to the other lycans. After her first long disappearance, she returned only for a while, before she once again left, looking for something. Rumor has it, she never found what she was looking for. Rumor also goes on to speculate that she was looking for a cure, silver poisoning from her teenage years had finally started to rot her mind, driving the once proud and strong Alpha of the pack into madness. But then, that's just a rumor, isn't it? Either way, Zzeill Hyde was gone from the pack for many years, gone from Los Angeles, and eventually gone from the minds of friends. But, locked away high above the packs club house, her room remains, locked to everyone, and a reminder that she once ruled here. And with this, she slipped into legend among the lycans, stories of her actions and her rule spread, then died as most legends do. But some lycans took the stories to heart.

Now they say the Ghost haunts the city, a figure in all white with black hair and a crimson ribbon tied around a top hat just roaming the streets, but never seen in full view. Some lycans even claim to have seen the Ghost, while out hunting, while paroling the territory. And a select few swear they have heard noises coming from the locked room on the top floor, seen glances of the Ghost in the club itself. Most laugh them off, tell them to stop day dreaming, or lay off the booze. But, what if?

I'm honestly not 100% what could have happened to Sen and the rest of my Angels.
I could see them being around but I only vaguely remember the going-ons of way back then.

Wherever you think they'd be, or you think they'd go, honestly. With Maren, it was mostly where she'd be going... but I have a pretty solid memory of where all of my vampires were at sweatdrop

So, I guess, 'after' the events in LA, what would they be up to~? Travelling the world, or sticking to LA/California? Answering some sort of calling they have? Running a shelter somewhere? Guiding people through their lives?

Or, y'know, growing up and getting a job, etc~

Whatever you think they'd want to do with their lives, think even like, 5 years down the road.

Will you be trying to restart the guild down the road, or is this the true ending of LAN?

A black din of clouds roiled around Kimris's home, lightning striking about. Things had calmed significantly, but as it stood, he knew very well where he stood with Kmeric childer and his own siblings and 'esteemed' sire. A respect, if not concord had been reached between him and a small few others, but worst was the fact that he had to tolerate letting the b*****d. Well, He guessed he could beat him into the dirt now and again.
Thunder roiled more, and struck in his backyard. Kimris felt an eerie sense of forbiddance. And like any challanger, he stepped forth to meet it.

He stood 5'11" inches wearing a more obstinate smirk that reminded him awfully of his own. Black hair, gorgeous, bewitchingly so, strung down his shoulders as black, ornately adorned horns crested around and on his head before his amethyst colored eyes, a deep gray hew in them setting in a moment after seeing the glow fade. He had a bear, perfect chest with roiling muscles that matched something oddly familiar before black breaches, somewhat loosely hugged his legs. Boots, stained with reddened soil and stained with blood were there.
Those boots were more familiar than anything else he bore, including a gigantic sword, the size of a door in height and half as wide. Yet, he seemed to expend no effort in wielding such a cumbersome black edge, as he leveled it at Kimris. A deep, melodic voice, unmistakably his own rang out.
"Oddly self serving, but this will soften the pain of betrayals yet had." The demon spoke, honey, bewitchingly potent and well known among demons as an Incubic gift, rang in his ears. In a blur, the Demon charges. "Have at, Kimris!"

Kimris raised his arms in alarm, the metal plating in his well known Jacket prevented him from being sliced in twain, before he was thrown through the wall, the planks of the stairs, and the repaired door he'd fixed. This day was turning out lovely. With a groan he stood, assuming a stand of a veteran brawler as he awaited the continued charge of the incubic assailant.

Kimris didn't have to wait long for the being to charge. But the being was no fool, and understood in a battle, being predictable and instilling fear was as key as cutting a limb or crushing a bone. Thus, he'd display one of many arsenal's weapons available at his disposal. Like the lightning he arrived on, he moved nearly as fast as Kimris's sire, before a leap pushed the ground up behind him in a leap, and sent him vaulting at the vampire like a spear. He turned after jumping, slamming the huge blade into the ground once, and Kimris lost track of him.
A second slam, like gunfire cleaved the ground to the right, and the Incubi was spotted half a foot out from a turn that threatened to cleave him in half again.

Kimris was shocked. In midair, the being changed direction, using the massive sword as a pivot, as well as a deflector to maneuver. This time he did not have time to erect his bent plates on his arms as shields, considering the broken bones behind them as well. This time he spun with the edge, ducking and rolling before rolling on the ground roughly having been caught in the aftermath. It hurt, as he forced the vampiric blood to mend his body.

"A Kindred here? My my, Brilliant minds do think a like. But alass, Times up. Shadow strike." He said, having paused to comment, before his body seethed with power similar to that of a vampire... or was it the abyss? He cared little where the power for one of his keenest edges came from, just that it could cleave better than anything. Taking the sword in a two handed grip, he brought down is small onslaught, and three quakes were felt as the body of the vampire Kimris, was cleaved in three by the Incubus Kimris.

"He'd been betrayed, and it was his curse to suffer a broken heart, as well as more betrayal. Why do I indulge in such grim work?" He asked, eyes up to the stormy sky, contemplative as the night slowly cleared. "I suppose it's just to try to save myself..." He'd say, before his body began to fade, looking at the stricken beauty, left in shock and awe at the sight of her lover destroyed. She could swear he said sorry, with a mournful look before he finished fading.

Wow. I'm pretty late to the epilogue party. Haven't been on Gaia in forever. Like it even gave me a welcome to gaia you're new message.
Hm.

Yami lives with Maren and Vala in the cabin obviously. He visits the city more often than his wife though. Karie is living with them too as an adoptive daughter of sorts. Leo stayed behind in the city and opened up a garage, but takes on many other jobs being a jack-of-all-trades and all; primarily hunting. He frequents The Babylon and offers to help out whenever he can. Also, Leo visits his sister and 'family' in their cabin in the woods often; bringing them gifts and such.

Not that great of an epilogue, but Yami's pretty much a family man now and I never really developed the other two that much. xD
If this gets a revival or restart ever, I'd be so happy and actually finish Yami's profile and develop the other two. And we'd get to explore more of Maren and Yami's past. Although, I'd probably rename him.
If Cascada also got a revival/restart, I'd start prancing. xD My chara on there was too nice. He needed to be more of an anti-hero douche. razz

Edit: I miss you alllllll.

I don't know about re-starting the guild. I'd like to, but I don't have a lot of time to put into it... sweatdrop I get a few hours on the computer every week for 'fun' activities.

Maybe in January, when I start an internship, I'll have more time. Hopefully at least!

If people are interested, I could try to start up something....
