I hope it's okay, but I wanted to make a thread to post Christian / Religious songs and bands on.
I know I like to broaden my horizon of worship, Christian Rock, and music in general. A few of my favourite bands are:
Skillet Superchic(k) Relient k (Although their older stuff was better in my opinion...) Newsboys Fireflight
I still have a lot to listen to, but I'd love some suggestions, and I'm sure we can exchange favourites & find some good bands through each other as a guild!

I love Relient K, though I have to agree their old stuff was better.
I'd suggest listening to K love. It's a radio station, but you can stream online as well. They have really good Christian music on there. On their site they also have a thing where you can see what station it comes on in your area.
As far as artists go I really like Jamie Grace and Francesca Battistelli (her newer album 'My Paper Heart' is amazing).

Nickleback is pretty worldly to be considered Christian. They even have a song about a stripper and their lust for her, and that Rockstar song they have symbolizes greed. Besides quite a few of their albums have parental warnings on them, if they were the least bit Christian then they wouldn't have suggestive content in their songs.

She used to sing Christian songs that were good. Really good. And yes, her parents are pastors.

I just listen to their song Savin' Me. I put songs in my playlist that can be applied in a Christian view. My mom likes the song Don't Fear the Reaper because as we are not of this earth, we don't need to fear death.

Rissaness TS Sailor Cronus Same people who did "Monster?" Yeah. Lol, wouldn't have guessed by what I've heard. XD I like some of their songs (haven't heard a whole lot). A-B0T I just listen to their song Savin' Me. I put songs in my playlist that can be applied in a Christian view. I'm a lot like that myself. I sometimes like to set up play lists of "before and after," basically creating a progressive story out of several different songs, and I like to make different stories or plots out of them. whee For instance (nerd warning) I have an RPG character who constantly struggles with thoughts of whether God hates him, and I have a whole playlist dedicated to his internal struggles. blaugh
