Hi there guys!
I don't know about you but I LOVE Halloween. Love it. I like the atmosphere. I like the ability to be someone/something else for a night. I like playing pranks and scaring people. I like being scared. This year for Halloween staff has let me run what I hope to be a scary (for your character, anyway) and fun event. For this I will need 2 things - players and mystery volunteers.
If you want to be one of my Mystery volunteers please PM me. I need about 5 or 6 of them
For the purposes of this event there will be an age limit of 16 or older. No chibis. This is a strictly civilian event. No powered forms needed.
Sign ups will run from now to Friday, Oct 4th. If you have any questions quote the "Quote me" post and I will answer them. If you want to sign up please use the form provided in the second post.

It's a whisper, a rumor. Hayden Pembrose, millionaire, is at it again. This time he's throwing the biggest party of the year and it's going down Halloween night. People whisper about it. His parties are legendary; one year he gave out cars as party favors. It's all there for those clever enough to find an invitation. They're hidden everywhere in Destiny City with subtle clues found on an anonymous website to each invitation's whereabouts. Every day some of the clues vanish leaving less and less available for the finding.
Will you be one of the lucky few? And if you are, what waits in store for you?

Each Player must choose 1 each from the Merits and Flaws list below. Those may be edited at any time before Friday, Oct 4th at 11:59p PST
Player merits:
- Clever – You’re smarter than the average bear
- Strong – You are pretty strong!
- Fast – You’re quick
- Blends – You can blend in with your surroundings easily
- Quiet – You can be quiet when it counts
- Cautious – You like to keep your eyes open and stay alert
Player Flaws:
- Slow – You don’t win a lot of races
- Conspicuous – You can’t blend into a crowd
- Loud – You find it very hard to be quiet
- Not so clever – You find it hard to strategize
- Weak – You’re not gonna win a lot of arm wrestlin

(will edit later when I plot to have someone ask her to go). Your Merit: Quick Why? I spent a lot of time running and sprinting both in and out of powered form. Your Flaw: Weak Why? I focus more on agility over strength, it's kind of always been that way. What is your character's goal for the evening? My only goals for the evening is to relax, have fun, and have one day where I don't worry about having to power up. It's a party - how are you dressed? Hi Shan! So excited you're signed up. Quick thing or 2 - can you edit in the question I added to the form? and second thing is that the characters must have their own invitations so for the purpose of the RP she will have had to find her own. She can't be someone's +1

Character Name: Castille Brenna/ Eternal Grus Age: 19 Why does your character want to attend? Are you kidding!? Think of all the awesome costumes I can get pictures of! Plus millionaire party? When am I ever going to get this opportunity again? Your Merit: Quiet Why? Sometimes stealth is what's needed. I have a lot of practice with this from when I was a new senshi! Your Flaw: Slow Why? All that stealth doesn't get you very far quickly! I would rather sneak by someone than outrun them! What is your character's goal for the evening? To get some great pictures and wear an awesome costume! It's a party - how are you dressed? I'm an eskimo this year! (Why do they have to put "sexy" in front of ALL women's costumes? I think it's stupid!) P.S. I'm sorry for all the quotes. The links kept bugging out on me!

Never know what important people I might happen to meet. Your Merit: Clever Why? You have to be smart to work your way to the top. And this girl would rather stand out. Your Flaw:Weak Why?No strength...physically, wet noodle. But at least she looks great! What is your character's goal for the evening? I would like to meet as many people as possible and have a little fun on the side. It's a party - how are you dressed? Of course she is making her own (and happy to help others if they like) But she's most likely going as an Egyptian Queen Like this

Your Merit: Quiet Why? Orah likes to listen to others and isn't a very boisterous person to begin with. Your Flaw: Weak Why? Orah is not physically strong. She was not into sports and she doesn't work out. What is your character's goal for the evening? To make new friends. It's a party - how are you dressed? A purple fairy with a pair of purple flats that have flowers on top.

From within a lobster costume, if anything were to happen, one would need to rely on their wits, rather than anything else! And I'd like to think I'm rather smart. It would be my best merit, yes it would. Your Flaw: Conspicuous Why? Big bright red Lobster costume! What is your character's goal for the evening? "To make more connections and to have fun! Why? To keep up with the moves of a gymnastic one has to be fast on their toes!

Why? Everyone will be dancing wrong, they have to dance like me! And then if they do dance well I can't not tell everyone about it!!!

Because of gymnastics, Gwen has some pretty sturdy muscles, especially in her legs. Your Flaw: Reckless Why? Gwen doesn't do well on thinking or planning ahead so she's likely to cause some trouble. I've never been good at being loud. Your Flaw: Slow Why? I admit sprinting is not my strong point - in fact I'm pretty sure I emded up coming last in the 100m dash during the field day events last summer. Besides my costume's not really made for sprinting in, even if the shoes are sensible. What is your character's goal for the evening? It's a party - even better it's a Halloween party which means that there will be some pretty good costumes there Your Merit: Strong Why? Why does your character want to attend? Pranks and parties keep everything interesting. The fact that it's Halloween just means it's tricks and treats--where can anything go wrong?
Your Merit: Clever
Why? I might not keep much to myself, and might be fidgety as all hell, but I notice a lot, and I've got the memory to keep it all tucked away till it's needed.
Your Flaw: Loud
Why? Hey, if I've got an opinion you'll freaking hear it.
What is your character's goal for the evening? The usual Halloween pranks and parties the guys I know host are fun enough, but this rich guy's gotta have the means for a hell of a lot more special effects. Besides... prizes? Hell yes please.
It's a party - how are you dressed? Skeletal pirate, however with face paint more like this.

Age: 20
Why does your character want to attend? It's the biggest Halloween party for the year! Why'd I miss a chance to see it? All the breath taking costumes, people to meet... besides, sounds like just getting in will be a blast!
Your Merit: Strong
Why? Lugging around bolts of cloth and art supplies for years has done a number for my muscles. So's playing hockey every chance I get. It's not just the padding that packs a punch when I catch someone with my elbow-or a fist-out there.
Your Flaw: Reckless
Why? It'll all turn out okay! Zero reason to spend extra time stressing over fine-line details. I'm fine getting scratched up!
What is your character's goal for the evening? Laugh, have a blast, and maybe scare a few people while I'm at it. This is Halloween! It's not a perfect eve untill you've made someone scream at least once!
It's a party - how are you dressed? Wore this to cons a couple times. Kept re-vamping it as my sewing skills got better, but I'm pretty happy with it now! Catwoman from Batman: The Animated Series!
