If you're interested in starting up your own pack, herd, clan, ETC, this is the contest for you. We are going to be raffling off bunches of semi-customs to help you start your own group of critters! smile In case you're wondering what a clan is: Quote: A clan will consist of a group of animals (no species restrictions unless this is part of the belief system) who live under the same beliefs and honor a certain belief system. It could be something as simple as "they all have green pelts" or as complex as you desire. These clans can be based on books, movies, video games -- the possibilities are endless. is pretty simple. You can read more about it by clicking that link! Who Can Enter ANYONE. You don't have to own a pet at all, or a pet of the correct species, gender, or color -- you will be able to keep ONE of the semi customs if you win, so if you need a leader for your clan that can be it. ALL you have to do to enter is create a concept thread (more info below) and fill out the contest form below. That's it. If you already had a concept thread up and decide to enter it in this contest/raffle, you will get one extra raffle ticket. <3

How to Enter If you haven't already, read our info on Creating a Clan. If you win the contest, you'll still need to gather three RPs and submit the form in that post to officially begin your clan and get a subforum. smile Now it's time to set up a concept thread! Concept threads should be posted in the Plotting Subforum. There is no form for setting up concept threads, but it should include reasonably detailed information on your clan. Important things to include are: The name of your clan
Some background information on the clan
Clan beliefs and/or traditions
Who can join the clan (is it species-specific, restricted to certain colors, etc) There are already some concept threads set up. Here are a couple of good examples! The FirekeepersThe Volcano PrideWe aren't going to be outrageously picky about how you set up your clan concept thread, we just want to see some background info, traditions info, joining information, etc. Something that shows you are interested in your own concept and put some thought into it. YOU DON'T HAVE TO WRITE A 9000 PAGE POST OR MAKE SUPER AWESOME GRAPHICS, we just don't want to see something short and crappy like: Please put some more thought into it than this The Night Howlers A pack of all black wolves. Details This is going to be open through September. It will close at the end of the month and winners decided on October 1st. We will raffle off at least one lot of semi-customs and may raffle or CC more depending on the amount of entries we get. smile If you win, you will get six adult semi-customs (you choose species, gender, and colors/some markings -- we will make the semi customs to fit any color restrictions you might have).
SUPER MEGA IMPORTANT:
You can keep ONE of these for yourself or give it to a friend. The other five must be contested off in a fair contest. It can be any kind of contest you like (raffle, RP prompt, naming, who can find the best wendyvainity youtube video, WHATEVER) as long as it is open to general threadgoers. You can't keep them all or just give them to your own friends.

If you want some of them to look related or whatever that's fine too. smile Please post em here whenever you come up with what you want. You can keep one of the six for yourself if you need one for a leadership position, the rest have to be given away. Also let me know if there are any kind of color/marking themes or restrictions I need to be aware of, etc
