What started it all...~It all started with a young sabertooth cub, her eyes bright with the idea of equal opportunities for both genders. She was born to a wandering group of girls, all of which would tell stories of the men the loved who would give up everything to protect them, even go so far as to sneak them out of the pack late at night when they knew a war was to happen as soon as the sun rose the next day. One in particular, an older female who only went by the name "Nana" would talk of her sons and how proud they made her to have ranked so high in such a short amount of time.
It was much later, when this cub had grown into a beautiful and colorful adult, that they began the trek back to their home, to see what had come of their precious home and families. What they found, however, was not what they wanted in the slightest.
The males, fat from the meat they lived on and without having to work had enslaved what they believed to be lesser beings, ranging from horses and mammoths to even sabers. However, all they had come to abuse were female, and even those they had come to love were disgusting creatures.
One male in particular laughed as he told a story of how he and his fellow male had deceived their former mates and children with a lie of war and gotten them to leave, and how instead they had joined forces with the other pack and killed what remained of the older generation, enslaving the cubs and offspring of the newer generation to "train them".
This sight was just enough to break the female and she vowed revenge against ALL men, building a pack of her own where only women would hold the power and the men would either follow the rules they were given, or face death. Sadly, none of her female companions would see to such a pack, too broken and aged in equality to change their ways, and thus the female set out alone...
This female was Colorstreak, who found her submissive mate a permanent affixture for bringing her a litter of almost entirely females; her bright future.

Female Ranks:
xxxQueen~ Oversees the pack and settles disputes when it is necessary. There will never be more than two, and always at least one. [1/2]
xxxCouncil~ Should the Queens be on opposing sides during a dispute, or if one Queen is directly related to a problematic cub, this rank is the substitute or the third and deciding opinion. [1/1]
xxxHeiress~ Young females chosen by the Queens to take over when they can no longer due their duty. May or may not be related to the current Queens. [1/2]
xxxHuntress~ Females who are of good strength and speed take this role by choice. [Unlimited]
xxxDoe~ Female Default Rank. Unmated female. [Unlimited]
xxxNanny~ Any female who bears too many males in a litter takes charge of all offspring as 'punishment'. She can up her rank by bearing another litter with mostly females. [0/6]
Healer~ Any female who wishes to take care of others rather than rear young is offered this position. However, it's not very highly regarded, as Oiorpata are expected to be strong at all times. [0/2]
xxxDarling~ Female cub who resembles her mother. [Unlimited]
xxxRebel~ Female cub who resembles her father. [Unlimited]
Male Ranks:
xxxGuard~ only the most trusted males will be given the task of watching over the rest of the pack, and is more of a second rank than an actual one, but the highest a male can be is a guard. [0/6]
xxxHigh Consort~ Male who gives the Queen the most female offspring, or her favorite [1/2]
xxxConsort~ Male who belongs to the Queen, but either has not given her children or has been on her bad side at least once, for any reason. [Unlimited]
xxxChosen~ Male who has mated with female, regardless if there have been offspring. [Unlimited]
xxxBreeder~ Male Default Rank. Unmated Male. [Unlimited]
xxxTraitor~ Any male who bears more male offspring than female. He's painted with a white 'X' on his front leg for every male offspring he bears and can become permanently mateless, depending on the number of X's. [Unlimited]
xxxBlessed~ Male cub who resembles his mother at birth. High rate of becoming Consort/High Consort. [Unlimited]
xxxSpurned~ Male cub who resembles his father at birth. [Unlimited]

Laws of the Land:
1.] No male shall ever outrank a female, no matter how high on the 'ladder' he may be.
2.] Should a male ever lay a hand on a female, no matter the reason, it is punishable by death or, should the female give forgiveness, exile with said female for all their lives.
3.] A male shall never look a female in the eye unless she has permitted him to do so, under the requirement that he be her mate. To break this rule is to face public ridicule by the female announcing it, or she may leave a mark upon his cheek.
4.] A male may never mate with any female other than the one he is chosen by, unless she would no longer want his company and announces him as available.
5.] A female may take any she deems worthy as a mate, but she will be deemed a failure if she seeks out more company than her Queens and doesn't produce a child. [If the reigning Queens only have 2 High Consorts, then ALL females cannot have more than 2 mates at one time.]
6.] In times of fighting, a male is expected to defend his home and family, but he will have no other task unless he can be trusted when his mate is bearing children.
7.] Cubs will be raised by the whole pack, but it is the duty of the mother to teach her cubs how to act. should her cub be unruly and ignore the ideals of the pack, she may be forced into exile with the entire litter the cub was born into, unless the Queen has dubbed one an Heiress.
8.] Death will come to any male who steals, lies, openly flirts, or challenges the rules.
9.] Any who join the pack before adolescence will be raised and taught with the other cubs. Joining adults will be schooled on the ways of the pack before they are permitted to socialize with everyone else.
10.] Males will obey any order given by their mate and their mate ONLY. Any female found to be abusing her rank against males who belong to another female will be taken before the Queens for a fitting punishment and the possibility of exile.
Events
Gathering~ When males are in short supply, a selected handful of females are sent out to bring back as many as they can, of any age. They can either seduce outsiders or convince them to come with them, willingly or as a trick, whatever works.
Crystal Ceremony~ A festival held at least twice a year where a grand feast is held and those who have earned it will be ranked up or down. Normally the females have one and the males have the other, but on special occasions the opposite may occur.
Crowning~ When a Queen feels she can no longer rule, for ANY reason and at ANY age, this ceremony is the crowning of her chosen Heiress as the new Queen, which she will be taught what she needs to learn before the previous Queen steps down.

Personality: Sunrunner is all about traditions and upholding the way things were done in the past. Change confuses and upsets her, and Sunrunner isn't too keen on it.
