Solomonused to work as a professional stuntman for film, but also moonlighted recording feats of daring nature for youtube. There are many a problem arm and leg documented online of his daredevil ways.
Likewise, however, it cannot be denied that Solomon is the kind of guy who, if he could, would spend all of his time with his feet off the ground, possessing an amazing sense of balance and nimble ability that is only hindered by constant knee pain when he presses himself too hard.
Solomon spent a good portion of his life becoming a gymnast with hopes of someday entering the olympics, but an unfortunate accident* ruined his left knee and while therapy did help him mostly recover, he was warned to never push it too hard. All he does is push it hard and constantly is in need of more therapy, sometimes surgery, and always painkillers. Actually, he may need the painkillers a lot less than he claims to need them and will claim phantom pains to take them at any time of the day. Woke up from a bad dream? Painkillers. Elbow itches? Painkillers. A moth farted across the island? Painkillers.
Beyond his addiction and his sometimes-limp, Solomon is a friendly guy who wouldn't mind driving a bus into someone (or something to help a friend out and will happily pull people out of a stunt of bravado to keep them in one piece - after all, he used to do that professionally!
*Solomon was caught by the knee by a large shadow-y shape that nearly pulled his entire leg off. He doesn't recall anything specific about the creature that attacked him just that it probably shouldn't have been about waist high on him and it probably shouldn't have had 6 'canine' teeth to leave permanently scarred on said knee.
&&REASON⊰★⊱Solomon lost his ability to actively pursue his dreams of going to the olympics to a pair of X-files Caliber jaws that tried to take his left leg off from the knee down. While a petty reason, Solomon was also promised that if he joined he may just be given his left knee's youthful virility back so he could be the high-flier he always wanted to be.
Aren likes to talk to himself and will hold full length conversations between two different voices with two very different personalities. These personalities and who has what opinion on the matter will change from day to day.
Solomon is pretty sure that it's because Aren was bored and lonely in life and did this to entertain himself. The duality just seems to thrive from having a consistant third party to play with and the only thing ever consistent is that they really hate parental figures.
&&ABILITIES⊰★⊱Seismic Shake (Gambler's Chance) Being a creature that burrowed and roamed underground/sand primarily, Aren likes to shake things up a bit. Plunging the blades into the ground, Aren releases a burst of energy that makes everything shake and crack. Everything. Including Solomon.
A small tablet that is powered by small runic batteries. It currently has a full charge that will last two weeks. You can browse the interwebs on it or read e-books. It comes with a modest selection of books, and a few apps such as Bewejeled and Tetris
