So this was step two. First was waking up as a Power Ranger, second step was this room here. Solomon tapped his visor as he walked down the steps, taking each step slowly. Tap. Tap. He clicked his toes on the bottom step as he pulled the familiar orange bottle out of his pocket, rolling two pills out into his palm before he tossed them into his mouth, hand over it as he swallowed. Much better.

It was kind of dark, he had to admit. His black visor probably wasn't helping at all, but he didn't even make a motion to remove it, walking into the room and giving the tablet-covered walls a long look. They seemed to all be the same, he had to admit. Did he just pick one up? Drawing one finger an inch away from the surface of the tablets, he traced it along the walls, touching nothing as he clicked his tongue thoughtfully.

Oh. He's here. I hope he finds me first. A voice seemed to hiss. Solomon looked around the room once to make sure he was alone. He was. Still, he frowned and continued to walk. Were hallucinations normal? Briefly he made an attempt to read the label on his bottle in the dark - was this a side effect? All he discovered was that the bottle was emptier than he would have liked it to be. Grimacing, he gave it a small shake before putting it back into his pocket.

Hopefully he still had the back up....

Ha ha ha, I bet he'll find me first instead! Wouldn't that be funny! Funny, so funny. Then maybe you'll be here by youself, dummy.

Solomon scratched the front of his visor, puzzling quietly.

Hey hey, I'd be happier without you too, y'know. the first voice came back. Looking over his shoulder again, Solomon still saw nobody else. He could only barely see the outlines of the shadows in the dark, and after a moment he pushed the visor up to rest on top of his head to look around. Without it darkening the room, he could see that faint light, flickering brown, gold, brown, gold. What was it?

A few steps towards it, it suddenly flickered out.

Abort abort! Enemy sighted! HAHAHAHA!!

Wait wait! Don't we want him to find us! Quick quick! Send rescue on over!

Solomon massaged his brow bone between his index finger and thumb. "I really need to switch prescriptions..... " he murmured continuing his walk. Just as his fingers nearly touched a tablet, the gold and brown came back.

No no no! Over here, over here! Yes yes! US!

No no! ME!! ME not him! He's silly! You want me!

You were trying to throw him off a minute ago! He's mine now!

Silly silly! IT'S ALL FUN! C'mere! Pick me up and let's blow this popsicle stand!

Quietly he approached the single tablet that seemed to be actively calling to him, reaching out to pick it up.

Ha! He picked me, not you!

You're just fooling yourself! He picked me!

The front of the tablet had a strange serpentine carving in it, gold drawing through it before brown would follow after it. Two colors continuously chasing each other. Two voices in his head.

"...Are you..real?" he asked out loud.

THE PRODIGAL SON SPEAKS AT LAST! Haha! Why don't we ditch this loser?

Of course we're real. Just because we're not out loud doesn't mean we're not real. Hey! I saw him first. He's mine, not yours.

Bah! You'll be nothing without me.

More than what you are!

Solomon massaged his brow again before weighing the tablet between his hands. As he did, a clear image formed in his head - a giant, stony, two headed burrowing serpent, each armored face quipping at the other one before bumping against it as if they were best friends. The three of them stood inside a sand arena.

He found us, brother.

Foouunnddd us! Okay, this time you hide and we'll come find you, Skyman.

Shortstack.

Kiddo.

Twinkle Toes

Little Man

Pixie

Sol.

Solomon knitted his brow, pulling the visor back down over his face.

"Then who are you if you know who I am?"

The two heads looked to each other, as if excited they were asked.

We are Arenam Castorum Nice to meet you.

As they spoke, Solomon was suddenly pulled from that little place of sand in his head and back to where he stood with that tablet as it reformed, taking the form of a stone cuff around each wrist.

"..Well. It's nice to meet you two, then. I'm Solomon." he introduced, making sure again nobody else was there.

He could hear their excitement in his head - it was kind of nice actually. Then there were three.
