Whoohoo! Minecraft! heart And oh man, I wish those skins could be available for the 360. I'd love a Sailor Saturn skin! ^_^
Haha, come to think of it, I'd prefer a Sailor Cronus skin. XDD

I currently have 7 maps on Minecraft. They have different purposes, such as playing strictly in Creative mode, Survival mode, or either; one is for a fantasy world I created long ago and I'm creating a "historic tour" in that world for when I let people play in it in Survival mode; I have one that is just to experiment on making castles; and I just made one last night that's devoted to building different types of villages. I don't even know if I plan to play that one in Survival mode; I only made it just because. XP
Oh, plus I'm building a theme park. ^___^

I have a question about the recent update, if you don't mind me borrowing your thread for it. ^^;
So Minecraft for the X-Box 360 just had an update recently, for the first time since the game was released on disc (I believe this is correct). There are some really cool new features, such as jungles, temples, and huts. I'm really excited about these for future maps. I already have existing maps on my game. However, I also have a particular concern.
I am currently at a friend's house, and he just discovered that one of his existing maps was just updated-- completely changing a lot of work he had gone through to place grass blocks down around a lake, and many of the grass blocks have changed to desert.
Is there any way to avoid allowing existing maps to update? I don't want to lose all the work I just went through on some of my maps.

So... I just saw last night where they're making a mash-up for the X-Box 360. Minecraft and Mass Effect. I'm actually really looking forward to it.

I would like to try out minecraft, buuuut I do not want to get obsessed with a game. I would just end up neglecting other stuff.

Sorry, I was wrong about the temples and huts. sweatdrop But anyway. I did do the update, and it turns out while it doesn't totally affect the existing maps, it does to some degree.
- The friend mentioned before had two nearly identical ponds in his map. When my husband and I checked the seed on our own game, we found that the sandy area was supposed to belong there.
- My old maps DO HAVE texture problems: the grass has changed colors radically, creating awkward dark and light swirls of various shades of green.
- However, when I make new maps, there is no texture problem. Also, I have yet to see any swamps freezing over in the new maps, but I haven't had time to check closely enough.
- All of my swamps are freezing over, most of which are nowhere near any snow biomes.
- I mentioned temples as a new feature, and I was mistaken.
- But I did get baby villagers!
- The ocelots are wayyyy cooler though. blaugh
