His name was ******** Rep. Not Reap. Not anything else.
And he wasn't hazy he was solid, solid and serious. He was ready to hunt because according to his memories that was one thing he was ******** good at. The monsters here were bigger too, had more loot, had more things.
What he thought was just a box, evidently wasn't. He didn't care, how dangerous could a box be, right?

He remembered.
Not all of it.
But he savored the memories he did have, turning them over again and again in his head. Even the grief, the fury, it was all good, on account of being his. His personal timeline was on the hazy side. He knew he used to live in a trailer with his mom. He used to play baseball. He and Nick...was Nick okay? Maybe they didn't have this fog monster s**t in New York. Anyway, they weren't together anymore. He must have opened the casino after that and met Rep, Jordan, Jerry, Candace, B0nez, Tracey, Ferros, Atropos, Roar. Although some of those seemed mixed up. Sometimes, they were solid, dressed in suits, and sometimes he couldn't see B0nez, but he could hear him.
A large axe, gleaming in the desert sand, as they fought back to back, and B0nez's runes light up-
He had a pet horse at some point (was it still alive?).
He thinks back on the sex again, because he'd sure as ******** been missing that as a shadow person.
They're trapping fragments against a car...
He can remember all of it. Tearing out his heart, too. The Promise. The Great King said he'd made one, a different Promise, but there was a Promise before that.
It didn't all make sense, but it didn't have to.
He knew his name.
Wandering in the After, what made all the sense in the world to see a familiar shape, bringing a sword down a monster. Harrison took his guns from his jacket, and fired in sharp succession.

Color looked good on the dainty girl. It filled her up and chased away a lot of the hollowness from her eyes. She knew her name, she had gotten some answers, and that was enough to pick her up from rock bottom and give her a reason to keep fighting. A fight had broken out near by, and a blaze of red hair dragged Peyton's attention as a scar traced figure took a swing at what looked like a treasure box with a giant tongue lolling out. The man looked familiar, and all at once she realized why. She knew him. He had been in one of the memories that had swam through her mind as everything had faded away. She knew him. And more then that, she admired him, counted him as a friend, as someone to look up to. The other tall figure was still a mystery to her, but he had a coat, and that seemed familiar. Without hesitation she waded into the fray to help. It didn't matter what they were up against. This felt right. The successive rattle of bullets made him look up, hardly daring to hope that he'd be there.
And yet he was.
"Harrison." he said, his full name, not Ace, though that was what he had always called him, but the name far deeper than that, private, tied to the memories that lingered, the good ones.
"Glad you could ******** join us."
He couldn't keep the grin off his face, and the delight bled over to their new compadre. "Sup?" he said to Pey as he stabbed his blade into the box once again.

She had a little time to come to terms with the fact for a little while there she lost who she was. Hell, even now she still didn't know the whole story. Ceres was pretty certain that she knew a lot of these people, mostly the ones she felt a 'familiarity' with back when she was 'scree'. Everything was still so blurry. Holding up her new weapons, a pair of guns, she fired long range at the mimic monster. "Hope you dont mind i cut in." She mused, noticing there were others also hunting the creature. "Glad to be here," he said, meaning it, and moving to Rep's side, gave the small, chompy thing a stern look. "This box giving you trouble?"
He didn't expect it could be all that much trouble.

Peyton grinned back at Rep, waiting to see if there was some vague glimmer of recollection, but there wasn't. It was a little disappointing, but at least she had the memories, and she could share them with me. After the box was dead, of course. Another girl joined the fray, and she was also unfamiliar, though she had a coat. It was something, some link, some unspoken bond. She hoped. Her hatchet came down with a thunk of the Box's lid, but it snapped at her at the same time, and the blow was glancing. Another figure joined them, dressed in the same sort of outfit they all wore, as many of the people in his memories had worn too. It set him at ease, at least to an extent, let him focus on the fight at hand more than anything else.
Well almost anything else. "Aye kind of." he snarled as the chest snapped at his arm. Was it getting tougher?
"I just want the ******** booty." he said, deciding a bit of pirate wording and innuendo was entirely in order.

He wasn't so much plunging into the fray any more as tentatively wading into it. Getting more of himself back, after the initial wash of blind rage, was making him more cautious. But he'd seen red hair and he'd seen Coyote--Peyton--and here he was, despite himself. He gave Rep a wary look because all he remembered was being scared of him and he wasn't actually sure why aside from the obvious reasons someone who looked like him would be scared of someone who looked like Rep, and maybe the position he took up near Peyton was as much strategically defensive as it was an act of familiarity. Didn't recognize these other two though. "Coyote," he said. Not Peyton. Coyote. Maybe this was why she made a point to go for this monster above all others. If one thing was true, in her memories (though she didn't know any currently present), they all wore the same white coats. There had to be some sort of connection there right? Unless they all decided to make the same sort of fashion statement, and she seriously doubted that. Thinking too hard honestly was giving her a headache, like a lot of things recently. People were hard, memories sucked, the only easy thing seemed to be this monster. She clicked the guns a few more times, aiming for the mimic. "Coyote"Peyton stiffened at the voice, and she turned to regard Amity-- No, Not Amity, Taym. --With a peculiar look. It wasn't unfriendly, or uninviting. More considering. She had more memories of him, and they had not helped clarify what the hell they were to each other before all this had started. But she'd already made a fool out of herself once, and she wasn't in a hurry to do it again. Instead she nodded at him, smiling, before taking a swing at the Box as it snapped viciously at her. "Doesn't seem so bad," he answered, stupidly. Well no s**t it doesn't seem bad yet. But there was satisfaction both in being flippant and in landing a decent hit that made him half-turn to grin at Peyton before he remembered all at once that he had reasons not to do that, and caught himself. He ended up glaring at her instead. Good work.
