Reaching the shrine, Vassou believed it was time for another quest from the goddess. But upon entering, there was two statues yet his eyes had deceived him. There was an empty pedestal instead.

The Goddess, wrought with Paranoia, created ====, her last and final project before ====. It was then that she discovered how to replicate ====.

It had been written on the plaque without a statue. He was curious, but paid no attention after until he saw the goddess. His eyes went wide as he looked to her instrument. After he was handed the bag, he looked confused. There was a key on the end. He looked up to her after looking into the bag. It had been empty. He seemed sad, but filled with joy when he was told of his next quest. He had to find this heart she spoke of. He nodded as he hurried off to the Second Door.

Vassou had entered through the second door, waiting for the challenge that may unfold in front of him. After entering images appeared before him. Pictures that seemed familiar, yet there were completely unknown to him. A name was whispered into his mind repeatedly. He searched around for the being who kept speaking, but there was no one there. "Sovasu, please don't do this!" Cried the voice as it sounded almost like a ghoul. "Try to remember. I'm your mother, please! It's Iris!" It cried as it echoed even more into his ears. He tried to shake it off.

The door had shut behind Vassou, firmly, after he had completely entered. It was dark. Vassou had to fumble away through the darkness to find what he was searching for. The hallway seemed to be moving on its own after each step he took. The first obstical lay before him, but he ended up hitting it.

It was a large crate.

Thud.

Moving around to feel if there was any way around it. It had blocked the path.

Thud.

The top of the crate is opened, and there is an unusual shape sticking out. The shape simply does not fit into the crate.

Thud.

Without knowing why, Vassou grabbed onto it. Feeling only ragged, empty fabric, as it slides between his fingers and falls back into the crate with a final thud.

Something is wedged almost perfectly into the box. It feels like hollow whispers and tattered edges. As he reached a little closer he hear something else. Through the folds of the fabric he can barely see the edges of a glowing steady yellow.

Thump-thump.

A heart.

Thump-thump.

Extracting the heart would not be an easy task. He had to be sure not to cut into it with the scissors he had received from the goddess. He slowly cut the fabric, the string, and everything else that kept it covered.

Thump-thump.

The heart was removed unharmed.

Slowly, Vassou placed it into his bag.

Vassou began to head back towards the exit, but the ground seemed to be less solid and more pliant. It began to slosh with every step he took, but to his dismay he had reached a dead end. There was sloshing noises, but not his own. He turned around.

Nothing.

He continued to walk until the water seemed to grow deeper and colder with each passing step. He shivered lightly until he heard more sloshing then footsteps.

"Please give it back."

He turned to see if anyone was there, but there was nothing.

Vassou kept walking until the water was at his neck. He thought that if he went any farther that he could drown. He sighed then went back.

"Please give me back my-"

Being pushed down under the water had frightened him. He struggled, but felt as if he was going even father down. His entire being felt that it was no more until the creature looked at him with deep, grey eyes, glassy, baring their sunken teeth-

"Give me back my heart."

The face and glassy eyes had frightened him dearly as he watched in dismay. He kept on struggling as a memory or a hallucination took over in his mind. He could see what looked to be a kitsune demon with a loving smile. His eyes welled up as if he knew this being. He squinted as he felt less of himself. Could this of been a mother? Asking himself, but the memory faded quickly as it had appeared.

Vassou wasn't about to give up to this thing. He wanted to fufill his duties to the goddesses and join them on their pedestals in all their glory. He struggled more and more to be able to breathe again.

They shriek-

- And then disappear

The water seemed to have vanished as it had appeared, like the memory. He coughed until he couldn't cough anything up. Standing to his feet with trouble, the darkness began to disperse as light began to pour in. He felt slightly blinded, but noticed something. A door! It was the exit. He gave a smile of victory as he regained his strength and ventured out from the second door.

Looking back with a feeling of accomplishment, his eyes began to play tricks on him. He believed to see what looked to be the same creature that had attacked him. He saw the hollow eyes and what looked to be the scissors he had used to retrieve the heart. A tear rolled down his check as he made his way back to the goddess.

Feeling cold, Vassou opened his eyes but soon squinted. The room was much too bright to his liking. He never remembered going to sleep, but he was laying on what looked to be a table of solid metal. Standing to his feet, he had to cover his ears from the humming lights. It had given him a headache, but he soon shrugged it off. He looked around the room only to find that it had 4 walls and a ceiling that blinded him with white lights.

After a few unsteady steps, he stumbled across what looked to be a door. He turned the handle lightly. It was unlocked. "Freedom..." He muttered slowly as he opened the door. The hallway was equally as bright as the room. He was uncomfortable with how bright it was for his eyes. Shades of gray is what he was use to. A slam resound in his ears, but he turned to see that there was nothing there to make the sound. The door had still be open, just how he left it.

Vassou continued on through the brightly lit hallway. It seemed to continue on forever, but he need to prove that he was worth becoming a goddess. But his eye had caught what looked to be the exit out of this wretched place. It was took clean, too sterile for his liking.

Thud

He turned around again, but saw no one there. The door had still been open. He shrugged it off and turned back around.

Thud

He looked again, but this time there was something there.

The first thing he heard was the steady sound of footsteps on the ground. His eyes grew wide when he turned to look after hearing a scrapping against one of the walls. It had a pair of rust scissors in it's hand.

Thud, screech. Thud. Screech.

It was getting even closer.

They had gotten close enough for Vassou to feel the chill claws along his neck. He bursted into a run in hopes to evade them.

The door to escape had been locked with code, but there was a piece of paper. Vassou was in a panic as he didn't know what the code was to get out.

It seems luck was on his side today. His heart beat widely until he found another piece of paper. "The code!" He exclaimed as he hurried to type in the combination. The door opened and out he ran into the forest.

Vassou had to cross the bridge or the being would take his heart. He took a breath then darted across. He felt the sharp claws in his shoulder, but had to keep on moving. As he looked back, the figure was not too far behind. He knew he needed to survive.

Vassou tried the door to the abandoned house, but it wouldn't budge. He had a sinking feeling that he had to fight off the creature in order to survive. He held the dagger tightly in his hand. He waited for it to get close enough to be able to attack. He wrestled with the creature as it began to speak. "You stole my heart! Why Sovasu? Why?!"

It screamed as it scratched his face with the rusty scissors. "I thought you loved me? Then why did you kill me!?" It screamed once more before plunging the scissors into his shoulder. He felt a memory coming to him as he felt the blood come out from the wound. "Mother... I didn't mean to kill you! It was an accident..." He spoke as tears began to roll down his cheeks. He recalled that day she had died in his arms.

It was a cold and rainy night. They had been fighting and it turned bloody. "Sovasu... Please listen! You need to do this to be able to become an adult..." The furniture had been thrown around the room. The windows, shattered out of anger. Blood along the carpet and the face of a young kitsune boil. "Just shut the hell up! I don't want to be part of this stupid ritual! I want to be able to do this the way I want to. Let me grow up like a real kitsune!" He yelled at the top of his lungs as his grip had grown tighter on the large shard of glass in his hand. Blood began to drip down his arm and covered his hand. He didn't feel the pain, but was seeing red until the unspeakable happened. A scream rang out into the night. Sovasu was breathing heavily. He had done the deed. He plunged the sharp glass into her chest, into her heart. His eyes went wide as he realized at what he had done. "Mother? MOTHER!" He cried as tears began to trickle down his face. He picked up her and held her close. The blood began to stain his clothes a deep maroon. "I-i was... too hard...on you... Remember.... that .....I-i-i... love you...." She whispered softly until her last breath escaped her body. He had killed her. He had killed his beloved mother.

The figure had grabbed hold of his head, paralyzing him if anything. He could more nor break free. The thudding grew even louder, but he realized it was his own heart. "Don't worry", The voice cooed into his ear, "It only hurts once. Then a loud snip was heard and then a flood of pain filled his entire body. He was dropped to the ground, but he felt his life fading away. The figure had his heart in it's hand and the rusty scissors in the other. "G-g-goodbye....Mother..." He cried as he tried to reach out for her then his eyes closed, never to open again.

Vassou had seen the third goddess and wondered what she wanted from him exactly. He walked towards his destination as soft white flacks began to fall from the sky. He was curious as to what it was. Holding out his hand, he could feel it melt in his palm. Vassou was baffled by how this could be possible. After he walked a bit more he noticed his foot prints in the white layer above the ground. The music was something like nothing he had heard of before. He enjoyed it's sound, following it. He found a table with two jars, one pink and one blue. He stared at both for sometime then decided to take the pink jar.

Drink Me

Was written on the tag. He looked at it closely then took the lid off. He drank every last drop of its contents. He began to feel soft, warm, and happiness all over. He began to feel light headed, but at peace if anything. He watched as the empty table had become covered with cake and cookies. He looked at both with pleasant eyes as he chose to eat the cake.

The cake was rich with flavor and gave him a feeling that was almost uncontrollable. He felt a bit overwhelmed by the intense feeling. He needed to drink something. He noticed two different cups of tea. He took sometime before he chose the colorful tea cup.

It was a the month of love for everyone. It had been Valentines day for people everywhere. Children were giving each other candy gifts, while older people were giving card or proposing. But this year was different. A young demon had been blushing up a storm when he found a love letter in his locker. He read it with care only to find out it was the same ghoul that he already like since he first met her a few years ago. His heart raced as he read the words meet me for lunch after class by the library. He could feel his heart pound as if it was going to pop out of his chest. His tail swished as he hurried only to find that she looked to of been waiting for sometime. She waved lightly and before he knew it, there was a peck at his cheek. He melted with a wide grin. He was happy to see her. He always adored her and loved her. He wished it would never end.

Colour of Tea Tasted: Cinnamon
Description: An elated sense of love with a hint of anxiety, but a wonderful sense of acceptance and happiness.

Your commentary on its flavour: She smiled. Mel'ae had never experienced something of the sort but it felt lovely as she could see the letter in her head. It was lovely and she was so curious about the feeling of loving someone else so much. His adoration fell down like a soft cloudy rain and she could sense the happiness they both felt. Setting the cup down she grinned more. It was nice and something she felt happy to be able to be a part of.

"Good luck to you two." She mumbled. To have someone to adore and to have them feel the same way, how wonderful it had been to see up close.

Colour of Tea Tasted: Goldenrod
Description: Complete love with a splash of utter joy.

Your commentary on its flavour: There had been many terms he was unfamiliar with, but following the context of the story he finally managed to paint the whole picture. It was sweet, a simple conclusion from what he saw unfold. That great feeling knowing the love you felt was felt back in kind. He would be melting too if he had been given such a greeting, had this passion in his heart for this girl.
This was what he needed from those other two memories. Something awesome.

Colour of Tea Tasted: Rich Gold
Description: Warm and Fuzzy

Your commentary on its flavour: Unlike the last he tested, this one left a warmer, fuzzy feeling inside. He was familiar with happiness, but not like this. This was new and foreign.
