A dainty sip, just one. The warmth from the cup was overflowing, a wash of pride flowed over her, a feeling she felt was right. Familiar, comforting, something she had done before. She had been proud of something once before - a heart-filling, overflowing feeling that she had done something so right. Closing her eyes, she relished it again.
A kingdom of Gold, walls as intricate and lavished as she had expected them to be - she was home again.
There were many around her, others of a Kingdom that she had always called home, or, that is what she had remembered at least, memories muddled from the sudden war that impressed against their beautiful kingdom. The emperor was before her, also, well-wishing his people, giving them recommendations, making them believe in him even more.
He had promised them ranks and spoils of the war, some he had picked out specifically for a job - a small woman of golden hair, his Advisor, a taller woman, strong-willed and proud, his General, as she had expected. Lifen, herself, was uncertain if she would, too, join the ranks. She was not a woman of battle, like Shaheen, nor was she of higher ranked families and trained, the way that the others have, like Lan.
Turning to Shaheen as she returned to the smaller woman's side, going to bless her with happy thoughts. "I am sure you will make your father's memory proud. He chose well, and I will be willing to help you as well as I can." They were true thoughts, laced lightly with wonder and fret. How would she help a general? His voice cut through her thoughts, strong and true. Her Emperor wished to talk to her.
"Hua Lifen," said Mengyao and he took a step forward, moving around in a slow circle until he stood behind her. "You have been Chosen. I have called you forth today because of your exemplary skills and your intelligence, as well as your dedication to your Emperor and the Kingdom of Edric. You will take the position of Empress and stand by my side as the war begins."
The words made something in her chest bloom, like a large flower, soft and full. Her, Empress? The warmth of his touch as he placed the mark upon her burned with both a soft shyness that showed on her cheeks in a flush, making her feel completely euphoric. There was fear in there, but it was quickly covered, always hiding underneath her glows.
She had a kingdom to watch over - and she would do it with great pride - for her Emperor, for those who now stood next to her, under her as support beams. She to support him, and them to support her. How she wished she could have her parents here, to see their little one shining among the crowd, their Empress.
She would make it her life's mission to be the best Empress. She would assist in making sure her Emperor came out victorious, no matter what the odds.

Tea Guest Log Colour of Tea Tasted: Pale Yellow Description: Sweet, happy, so proud of her accomplishments and those around her. Your commentary on its flavour: Mylisp sipped at the tea, pausing as she licked her lips a bit. It was... rather tasty, left her feeling so like she'd done everything she could hope for. Success, the very taste of success. She toyed playfully with the cup, humming lightly to herself. The woman, for the voice was quite feminine she thought, was so happy when she was chosen. So pleased with it. Even if a war was coming, she felt proud to stand amongst those. It was really pleasant. "I want friends like that." People she could stand beside even when war threatened to take it all.

Tea Guest Log Colour of Tea Tasted:Pale Yellow Description: Pride, Accomplishment, Affection Your commentary on its flavour: Hekhis found the tea to be entirely enjoyable - familiarity, warmth, people who cared for and having your work be recognized for what it was. It felt fantastic. It was nice to see what you worked for actually get you somewhere. Hekhis took a second sip of the tea, just to enjoy that welcoming want at someone's side. It felt like she needed it.

Tea Guest Log Colour of Tea Tasted: Pale Yellow Description: Humble, Uncertain, Surprise and Pride Your commentary on its flavour: There was something about a gold kingdom that came to her as she sipped the tea, and though she couldn't figure out what it mean she still liked the taste. It was soothing, calm like the woman from this memory. She didn't hold scorn for the others who received their ranks and accepted her's with grace, surprise and with as the tea was; pride. This woman seemed remarkable.

Tea Guest Log Colour of Tea Tasted: Pale Yellow Description: Accomplishment, achievement, strong affection, pride Your commentary on its flavour: Sheenah immersed herself in this memory, wishing to see more, wishing for it to not end where it did and to continue on. There was something about the vision that resonated with her, with the small woman and the taller one she stood next to, with the pride that both must have felt at being chosen. The smaller one was so humble, yet so excited for her new position, a position she so obviously deserved. This tea warmed Sheenah to her very core, and tasted better than any other she had tried. She could have stood there and sipped away from it for hours and never grown tired of it. Pride. Such a simple and powerful thing. She craved more.

Tea Guest Log Colour of Tea Tasted: Dull Bronze Description: Initially uncertain, and then proud, content; gentle, with a fierce core. Determination. A sense of duty. Your commentary on its flavour: Whoah. A Kingdom. This memory was far grander than the one he’d previously tasted, but with it came a lot of responsibility. Arl was impressed, surprised, that instead of being overwhelmed by the task, this woman had taken to it. She’d been proud to serve her country, and she would do it as best as she could-- sorry, her Kingdom, rather. The notion was strange to Arl, as he surfaced from the memory.
He also couldn’t imagine what it would be like, to be consort to someone of that calibur. But he felt the pride of that woman’s memory swell in his heart: she would make a good Empress, surely. She felt as though she would dedicate her very being to such an endeavour.

Tea Guest Log Colour of Tea Tasted: Pale Yellow Description: Simple blend, humble sparked with surprise and ending with pride and joy Your commentary on its flavour: Pride. This was something Koshabi knew, lack of memories or not. He did not know it could come in such a mild flavor, but to each their own, he supposed; after all, he was not celebrated as royalty and thus could not judge. But while he enjoyed the smaller woman's elation about the position, he could not help but feel a spark of envy as well. Power was what he craved, after all, and prey or not, he would find a way to take it . . .

Tea Guest Log Colour of Tea Tasted: Pale Yellow Description: Pride, Accomplishment, Affection, Determination Your commentary on its flavour: Rime found this blend to be particularly pleasant, as the overall memory seemed to be a happy one. Something about the kingdom that this memory took place in that spoke to her, but she couldn't quite place why. It was obvious that the young woman in the memory was excited for her new position in life and took it very seriously, taking pride in being able to support others this way.

Tea Guest Log Colour of Tea Tasted: Soft Gold Foiled Description: Surprise, overjoy, accomplishment, assurance Your commentary on its flavour: Two cups of the seaform tea was more than enough, there were still many waiting. Something flickered across his eyes, it was ornamented tea pot with a shiny tag. The first sip granted him a frown, it was warm but he wasn't sure what the taste is, it's so mixed. Uncertainly. Just like the she in the memory extract being played, it's full of questions. Sweet? Bitter? Sour? What's more in it? He decided to take another sip. It was richer, he's rather envied when he saw she was surrounded by her people, supportive and sweet. Then, when the Emperor appeared, it was as rich as coffee. It was like something burst within mouth and filled him with energy. A nice surprise and assurance. Something he longed for a long time. He could smell a floral scent immersed from the tea. Gradually. It was like a floral tea. The liquor in his mouth turned sweet and lingering. The longer it stayed, the richer the flavour was. It was the kind that required you to be patient enough to see its blossom. He slowly put down the cup, she was lucky to have someone on her side. She had reason to proud for that.
