First a foremost, Ogbonna is and will always be as stubborn as an ox. He doesn't want to follow the same path you take. He doesn't think carrying all his stuff the "proper way" is a good thing to do. He couldn't care less about staying by your side, there's something more interesting over here! Though this is his more prominent trait, he can be reasoned with easily, you just need to know what makes him reconsider his opinions. (I.E. Tell him a story that gives a moral or good reason why you want him to do something or give him an example and he will be more inclined to stop being so stubborn)

Next, Ogbonna likes to look on the bright side of life. The sun will always rise, the darkness won't always be there, and nothing bad will happen if you have faith in yourself. He doesn't like to think negatively, and always tries to stop himself if he does. He'd much rather be observing a pretty flower or admiring the sunlight along his path than discussing the "daily horrors" that plague the world around him.

Finally, Ogbonna has a great deal of love for those around him. He likes to be able to comfort his uncle, or help his father, or relive someone else's stress for the day. Though he may not always be perfect with his suggestions or careful on his feet, it's when he really wants to bring a smile to someone's face that he puts his best foot forward. He'd be more than happy to sit and chat with you or go for a walk if need be.

Typically the first thing you notice about Ogbonna is how fast he runs and he happy he is to be out in the open air. He's a happy child, never seems to have much to complain about in terms of life and where he lives, and appreciates whatever comes his way. He likes to be free without the help of others, and will often butt heads with his father, uncle and several other tribe members if need be. His stubbornness is prominent and forward, much like the feet that propel him forwards into the waiting arms of his family and friends. He devotes a huge chunk of his heart and soul to his family and friends, and hopes to be able to protect them one day, just like his grandfather had done.
For the sake of honesty, Oggie isn't always the easiest child to work with, you can take Natsu's word on that one. He can be out right disobedient and wild, and he can be utterly incorrigible when asked to carry a few more items than he wants to. With his arms folded and his back to you, Ogbonna is about as mutable as a brick wall. In order for you to properly pull him out of this stubborn rut, you might just have to use your imagination a little. Give him a reason, show him why he should listen to what you have to say. Tell him that someone got injured not doing what he was told, share an experience of your own. It's not so difficult once you have his attention, and if you've reached him on a good enough level, he should give in and do as he's told. He's not so far beyond your reach that he can't be gently brought back down.
As with most people, your attitude speaks volumes and helps even out the path that you wish to take in life. Oggie's perspective on life is something that his parents treasure, and his uncle helps to cultivate. Why fear the world? Why be so unhappy when you could be out exploring and enjoying yourself? Live and let live, smile and smiles will be given to you. It's a simple message that he brings to the world, be happy, be free. Ogbonna's optimism is akin to a beam of warm light that spreads around the room as he rushes past, hustling off to some amazing new place that he knows could be waiting on the other side. He doesn't know where he's going, not in the slightest, but the fun is in the adventure, and whatever may be waiting for him isn't the end.
"The end of something always means the beginning of another." A mantra that Ogbonna holds close to his heart. All things must come to an end, but that doesn't mean the whole world stops because of one thing. There will always be something to hope for, something to strive for, and there will always be a resolution, no matter how minute it may be. He likes to tell others to practice this mantra themselves, because it "eases the butterflies in your belly", and often brings him the greatest comfort when he needs it. Ultimately, at the very center of Ogbonna's soul, is a gentle, breezy warmth that pours outward whenever it happens to be needed. If you need a friend, if you need a word of advice, you can count on Oggie to be there for you. Part of his mission in life, other than travelling the world and being the best berserker ever, is the bring smiles to all those that need them. And as we all know, Ogbonna isn't one to back down from his decisions without a good reason why.

History
A odd little boy was born in Sauti one autumn day with his family standing all around. He was born small, not very strong, and struck some fear into his parent's hearts. Little did they know that their son would survive and become one hell of a free spirit. Ogbonna, "Looks like his father", he was named, for how the waves in his long dark hair reminded his mother of how his father's weaved and bobbed. The first year of his life was difficult, he had often been sick or in some sort of distress, but by his second birthday, Oggie was a force to be reckoned with. He wasn't just walking, he was running, running like a bat out of hell.
His family was both thrilled and distressed by how much this boy could run, and even more so by how far he could get without anyone noticing. Thus, a babysitter of sorts was assigned to the task, Natsu, Ogbonna's uncle. At the time, Natsu was only fourteen years of age, and had just begun his Prentice training. Ogbonna wasn't thrilled that he had someone following his every move, but soon attached himself to his uncle, admiring just how "amazing" he was. He wanted to train like his uncle, he wanted to wear clothes like his uncle, and he wanted to follow his uncle everywhere. From then forward, Ogbonna strived to be more like his uncle each and every day, from the way he walked to the way he talked. Eventually, Natsu couldn't shake the boy off his tail, even on trips to Zena where his nephew was forbidden. It was an interesting set up, but it worked for the entire family, and Ogbonna was very, very happy.
As he approached his fourteenth birthday, the day he would become a Prentice just like his uncle had before him, he sat himself down to deliberate what he would become. He didn't like to sing, he didn't like to dance, and his certainly didn't want to wield a sword... What would he become? Turquoise eyes zoomed around the tent and laid upon the wooden bat that his father had made for him, which he plucked off the ground with a gleam in his eye. This, this could be used to guard people, he could become a guard! He swung the bat a few times and did a quick spin, giggling to himself. Maybe growing up wouldn't be so bad...

Ah, yes, Kujo the Perzi. Ogbonna doesn't know where Kujo came from exactly, but now he won't leave him alone. I guess best buddies can come from nowhere?
Bon-Bon is a fish, a very lucky fish indeed. Ogbonna cares for this fish as if it were his child, despite not needing very much care at all. "She" also seems to adore Ogbonna, too, and gets very excited when he draws near.
