What species of monster / nonhuman is your favorite?
Do you favor the demonic beings from the underworld
Or rather the cute, non-malicious types?
My answer:
My absolute favorite would be slimes.

I don't really have a preference. I just don't care for the generic types and I don't care for the desu desu kawaii cancer types either.
Though if you want specifics, I've always liked "monsters" with quadruped bodies but human-like faces. They're interesting to me.

i prefer dragons...or slimes.... slimes can be anything... but dragons were there before werewolves X3

Running through the monsoon,beyond the world ...
When I think of monsters, I think of the mannequin spider thing from Silent Hill 2.
But as far as non-human species, humanoid demons and vampires.
to the end of time,where the rain won't hurt ...

I adore minotaurs. Definitely my favorite monster! And I like both, honestly. Bonus points if they're both cute and malicious! Like this guy!

I would have to say my favorite 'monster' or Yokai as we call them is Nurarihyon. I love this trickster and well really any other ones, but most of the monsters that I like are the one's in my book that I am writing. Of course you have the one's from different countries lore but I like my own monsters the best~

I would have to say my favorite monsters so far are, Succubi, Incubus', and Kitsunes. I really like Kitsunes, but haven't had much of a chance to get to do a lot with Succubi or Incubus'.

I have such a hard time picking favorites, but I have a soft spot for Lamias and Dragons. Then again, I use a lot of Succubus/Incubus characters... I love learning about new ones, the more the better ^^

I most enjoy real werewolves. I don't classify, and no offense to the fans, I don't classify Twilight puppies as werewolves. I'm talking about your old school nightmares. The huge, hulking beasts that typically stand on two feet, can break bricks down from a house, is like, super strong and fast----you know, a vampire's EQUAL. Mean, nasty, not very friendly. smile

I like surprising people...
Valkyrie/Seraph, Golems, Elves, Dhamphir... You know... things that can seem human if they want to but are anything but in reality.
