Shopping District - Durem Durem's shopping district has been known to dip into the hysterically punk and gothic, to the up and trendy fashions of the rich and famous.

"We're here," said Rage to his passenger as they landed in the shopping District of Durem. Ryuji hit the ground with a light "thud," indicating that his passengers could get off now.
Rage jumped off, figuring if Owle needed help he could help her down - although by now she had ridden the dragon so much she probably didn't need any help at all.

Owle slid off the dragon's back, and smiled at Rage even as she looked skeptically around the shopping district.
"I wonder what we're supposed to be looking for...oh!"
She darted over to a window display. "That skirt is so cute..."

For lack of words, Rage just went " sweatdrop ". He understood that people could be a little bit different to accomodate for pressure, but... hey, that was a nice leather jacket. He might have to see if he --
Dammit, Rage, focus!
"Owle, sis, don't you think we should be getting back to the game now...?"

"Sorry," Owle said, feeling embarassed at herself. "It's just...well...no idea what we're looking for, no idea what might happen yet...I'll try not to get distracted again.
"So, which way should we wander? Flare's near the church downtown, so I'm thinking we should head away from her...
"I mean, assuming we're just wandering around, hoping to find something."

"Heh, I don't really mind," said Rage with a bit of a smile. "I'm just happy to see you in good spirits. When all this is over I'll buy you a whole new outfit if you want...."
He listened to what Owle had to say, trying to think of what they should do next. He was pretty clueless, to be honest. "Maybe we should go in the opposite direction of Flare, then...?"
[Edit]
Meanwhile, Ryuji was getting annoyed. Several police officers were trying to issue him citations for parking in a red zone, while kids were atempting to climb onto his back. "That's it, I'm getting out of here. Call me when you need me," he growled, taking back to the skies and shaking a kid off as he did so.

"Really?" Owle asked, her eyes lighting up at the prospect. Then she had to force herself to get back to the game.
"Alright..." Owle said. She closed her eyes for a moment, then pointed to the south. "That way it is, then."
As she began walking off to the courthouse, she shuddered. "Ugh...Flare just found some of the chaos..."

"I'm not sure I want to know," said Rage, already getting ideas that were probably far more nasty than what had happened. He began to head towards the courthouse with Owle. He had a question to ask, but he'd wait until they got there to ask it....

In some ironic twist of fate, Rage found himself back where he started - just as bustling and filled with people as ever, although lacking a fire dragon in the street now. He stopped in front of a store named "Just Women's Clothing And More" where Owle had seen the skirt she enjoyed so much from before, and let out a sigh. This was getting them nowhere, but... so be it.
[Edit]
As Rage waited, a passing car splashed cold water all over him.
Or, rather, her. Now standing about an inch shorter and sporting a more... slim figure, a young woman in wet clothes was standing outside the store, looking more aggrivated now than ever before. She seemed to take it all in stride and let out a sigh.

"Oh mah god!" A group of teens began to crowd Rage to look at the store front.
"Wesoneedtogetourbeachgear." Another said far too quickly.
"Yah."
"Let's get ready to look so good!"
Then the group of fourteen year olds began to giggle, paying no atention to the green haired woman in the middle of the growing group. They thought she was just another part of the crowd.

A black cat wandered into the area, licking its lips. Owle had finished her fish on the way over, like she'd promised she would.
The cat grew back into a woman, who then quickly looked around for Rage. If it hadn't been for his mind sig, she would never have found him. Even as it was, she had to do a double take.
"Rage...why are you a girl? God, is it the chaos?" She looked left, right, and down, as if she expected to suddenly find her gender changed, too.

"Chaos... yeah, let's go with that one," said the now-female Rage with an obviously annoyed tone. Her clothes were still dripping wet, but it was pretty obvious that she wasn't about to change them in public.
She squeezed her way out of the crowd and held the door open for Owle, wanting to get inside to find something new to wear.

Irzael walked into the shopping district, distracted by his thoughts and didn't notice the man standing in front of him.
"Hey! Watch where you're going, idiot! Damned morons everywhere..." the man screamed at him.
Irzael looked down on the man, his scarlet eyes appraising him, "You'd best just go on your way, that is if you don't want any trouble because, frankly, I don't have time to deal with you."
The man puffed up his chest, enraged by Irzael, and pushed the air genasi back a few paces, "You think you're a tough guy? Come on!" the man lowered his center of gravity and put his hands up like a boxer.
