HITS has invited everyone from the other schools to their campus to participate in a district wide Field Day. Everyone of school age is welcome! Students must register when they arrive to be able to participate and win those ribbons! There are multiple sign up tables with age groups (elementary, middle, and high school) to make this process easier.
Along the enormous playing field and the open grassy grounds beyond there are several stations set up with balls and equipment for each sport. There are coolers with water all around and many children already talking together. Once they are registered students are encouraged to mingle among the other schools.
The event Coordinator approaches a podium and a microphone, hailing everyone's attention in the middle of the morning's bustle and excitement.
"Excuse me! Can I have your attention please? My name is Mary Elizabeth and I would like to thank you for attending the first ever Destiny City Inter-district field day! I'd like to thank our hosts at Horizon and all of our guests from the surrounding schools. Today is not only about getting some exercise and releasing a little energy at the end of the school year. It's also about meeting new people and developing bonds through good, healthy competition! In that spirit I'd like to remind everyone to practice good sportsmanship and above all, just HAVE FUN!"
She blew her whistle and indicated that the day had officially begun and everyone cheered.

The Hows and What Fors - - Any character of school age may participate in this event.
- If a player does not have a character of school age they may create and use a disposable
- If a disposable is created it may not be played outside of this event. It may be quested for outside of this event according to the rules of ItNotM. If it becomes an official character all ribbons won may transfer to that character's journal.
- If using a disposable please post this code at the bottom of the sign up. [color=red][b]Disposable[/b][/color]
- All events are open from the time of posting unless otherwise stated.
- All rules are posted in the games themselves but please PM me or hit me up on AIM (Zaia2001) if you have questions.
- Some games (team sports) may require additional sign ups. Please bear this in mind.
- Registration for this event ends on MONDAY, May 13th at 11:59pm PST. The event will open on Tuesday, May 14th.
- The final event, the relay decathlon, will require teams and will occur on Sat, May 18th. Event Sign ups for that will be open until Friday, May 17th at 9:00p PST after which teams will be announced.
