What hides under your bed? Does it make your skin crawl? Have you ever walked through a graveyard at night while small ghost children dance beneath the moonlight?Welcome to the nightmarish contest- a contest of thrilling horrors. The object of this contest is to create something terrifying.
This is not just a short story contest, oh no, poetry is accepted as well- but in a different category. At the end of the contest I will choose the top short story and the top poem. Winners will receive:
30 000 GOLD, and winners badge for being exceptionally creepy!Rules: 1. You may enter both categories but I will only allow you to be a winner in one of them.
2. Like all of my other contests you are allowed ONE re-submission before the deadline
3. Send your submission via personal message and label it with your name, the title of your creation and a rating (G, PG, PG-13, T, M)
4. Short story must be longer than 1500 words; Poem must be longer than 600Deadline: June 15

TaliaDelune TheSadGuy666 You can count me in and count the contest over. Just a bit confident. I may not be a very confident person, but in the language arts, I consider myself proficient enough, although I've still much to learn. I also may not be nearly as proficient in poetry, but a narrative, a horror one no less, is something I am well versed in. Suffice to say that simply writing the plot of it made me feel uncomfortable while sitting in my dark room at one thirty in the morning.
Although realistically, I also expect at least one other person to do exceptionally well, perhaps even better than me. I'm not so prideful as to not be aware of others' potential writing prowess.
I can use my other short story as an example, although it would not be the submission, it will display my ability to portray mild horror.

I don't see why, the overwhelming amount of uncharacteristic pride in that one sentence makes me want to vomit, but... I can just blame it on my exhaustion and leave it at that.
And I hope that I don't seem like a total jackass, there are some miniscule parts inside of me that aren't worth condemning, such as my pancreas, spleen, and left lung.
